This restaurant has the best prices and really good quality food! Every week day has a daily special at a very good price. The staff is welcoming and friendly too. A must stop when driving through!

Food is good but 9 times out of 10 they get my order wrong. I ordered a carne asada burrito with beans and rice and I get home and theres no beans. This happens often I'm beginning to think they don't like me because im a light skin Mexican.

We recently came here for dinner and the food was great! The cashier was very upbeat, pleasant and accommodating. We went through the Drive thru and the wait was minimal.

We really like this place! Went there after the Carl's Jr messed up our food and it was great! So fresh, so tasty! I only like one other place than this but it is another 15 minutes away and i am too lazy! Hardshell tacos are amazing and inside about 5 different salsas to choose from! Also, the caliburrito isn't bad either!!!! Delish!!!

I love the carne asada taco combo. It's a great deal for $13.00. I always have more than I can eat in one sitting and the flavor is wonderful. The drive thru is very convenient and the voice in the speaker is kind and helpful.

I had the rolled tacos ahogados that came in a plastic cup. They were very good. The tacos were crispy and came with shredded beef. I like the guacamole salsa and cheese in the cup. This location had inside and outside seating. Service is friendly enough.

Has a drive-thru for quick service. Food quality seems to be lacking most trips there. Prices are a little higher over the two other taco shops next to it.

Not the best burrito I ever had. Guacamole is water down. Meat is hard to chew. Paid 13 dollars for it.

Good food, good portions, fair price. Sorry, I prefer "greasy, fat dripping" Mexican food but yours is very good. Favorite taco? Beef. Bite into it and grease rolls down my arm....

The food is great, except the soggy French fries. I ordered them a 2nd time but requested extra crispy & they turned out dark brown but still soggy & mushy like they took an oil bath. When I called after I got home & saw the mushy fries, the girl said the fries are precooked & can’t get crispy. Wish she would have told me that when I ordered them extra crispy. Why do they have pre-cooked fries? My favorite is the fish taco but they don’t always put enough cabbage. When I request that they do put lots of cabbage, they charge an extra .85 for cabbage which is a rip off.

Okay, their food is good a.f....BUT 1.) Their menu prices ALWAYS change. I get the same thing EVERY TIME. I'll be paying 16/17/18$ but funny how I show up 3x a week and pay differently. 2.) They're sloppy preparing the food. I'll order a full order of carne asada fries and have a little less than a half missing. 3.) They never really listen to specifics to what you want...extra sour cream, guac on the side, etc.

I feel like the quality of the food is starting to slip. I bought a burrito here for $8 and it was the thinnest burrito I've gotten out of any in San Diego. More expensive too. Used to come here a lot more but now it doesn't seem worth the drive.

I've been coming here for while . Always have sane experience. When all guys work . They charge you for the biggest drink without asking the size. The burritos are always smaller. And for some reason when a woman works on shift, everything seems to be perfect . What's up with that. Dude need to step there fame up. I juts bought a burrito and all guys are working. I spent almost 12$ on burrito and it's all tortilla. There hardly any protein in this . It's absurd .

I got lunch through the drive thru. Opened it up and it was cold, like the chicken rolled tacos had been frozen and not all the way defrosted. I couldn't go back or I would have been late for work. Very disappointing, they used to be really good.

Took 10 minutes to get from order board to window. Slow slow service. No customer service at all! The guy acknowledged me with "yeah?" at order speaker. I could live with, but not even asking if we wanted hot sauce from a Mexican restaurant. Sad very sad. If it weren't for the fact that the food was so hot and delicious, I would not do a second visit. In this case I will think about it.

The chorizo has good Flavor but I ordered easy egg one egg I got all egg. No fork no hot sauce beans are like play dough it’s cold and tortilla is a giant dried tortilla chip

Tostada was mushy with no crunch. California burrito 80% fries, guacamole and pic de gao. Rolled tacos were cold, cheese wasnt even melted, was overloaded with guacamole but still tasted good. Called today to talk to someone about a refund, gentlemen answers "Santanas"..... thats all, which is fine but lackluster in hospitality, food beverage and customer service sector. I say " Hi how are you doing today? " no reply yet, but I can hear him and others talking in the distant background. Ok maybe ive been put on hold with no hold button/function. Waited 5 to 10 mins.....nothing, so I hung up. Called right back 6 times instant mailbox full message, not even one ring. Ok must be on the other line or their phone only has 1 line with no call waiting, ok, understandable. Called a 7th time and just rang and rang. Ok they're busy, i get it. 11 calls and 1 hour later and zero success with talking to some one. Ok......so now I guess I have to take the food from over 12 hours ago back down to the shop so they can see we didn't even eat 1/4 of the order and want a refund. Not ok. 1/27/2026

Paid over $31.00. Missing part of the order. Ordered 7 street tacos. None of them had Guacamole. Called restaurant and then just picked up and hung up. Now called two more times and they do not answer the phone. I’ll call tomorrow. I am not happy at all. This was my favorite place to go. Will not go back. I was regular customer.

The food was just... Bad. They didn't even cut the meat in my torta, and they forgot to add salsa, not just thand it looks like they just sloped the meat and avocado in, and there were brown stuff in my roll taco. DONT GO THERE.

Ive been here a few times and I've never had an issue with food untill last night! I found plastic in my roll taco's! It was disgusting and so disappointing since I was already upset prior to that due to how plain and boring the roll taco's were. tacos and guacamole !? No lettuce, tomato nothing! All the food was so greasy. We got a bean and cheese burrito, fish burrito, and quesadilla with rice and beans. All of it tasted horrible. There was a block of greasy unmelted cheese in the burrito, the quesadilla was so greasy it dripped, and the fish burrito was mostly cabbage but still full of grease? The horchata was awful. Tasted like sand. Don’t eat here.

So my man came in today around 6 pm today the cashier was unprofessional, flirting with men and horses playing and flirting with my man she’s around 5’5 black hair this is so unprofessional you guys are hiring females that don’t take their seriously she was bagging up the food and grabbed the food after telling my man that it was ready playful while giggling and she forgot the sauce and give my man the food without opening the bag to check if she actually forgot the sauces and said just kidding in a very flirty manner

Food quality has gone down I ordered tacos and a burrito and they were dripping in oil. I didn’t even eat them.

I live close to Santanas and have eaten there for about 5 years. Tonight my wife went and brought home dinner for the family. I got a California burrito and traded my son half of mine for half of his bean burrito. About midway through my California burrito, I chomped down on something rock hard. I pulled it out of my mouth and it was a steel wing nut! The thing was about 1 inch across. Thank god my son didn't get that half. Anyways, I drove back to the restaurant and showed the girl at the counter. She said something about it falling in the potatoes and knew exactly where it had come from. This leads me to believe they saw it fall in the food but decided to serve the food anyway when they couldn't find it. She recognized it the second i showed her. All she said was sorry. I had to ask for the managers number which does not seem to work. Now i will spend the rest of the night pissed off, hungry, and with a sore tooth. I am going to see a dentist and send them a bill for the day of missed work. I wish I could post a pic of the nut. If they will leave a hunk of metal in your food, god knows what else they let slip in. I am forced to give them at least 1 star in order to post, not by choice.

When he brought the order home, it was wrong. He ordered mini tacos but got TJ tacos. Usually when we say mini tacos, the cashier asks what kind? I tried 2x calling your restaurant and got a recording. Plus not sure if you guys realize, your receipts doesn’t say costs of item and total, yet your receipt has what items are in big letters. I live nearby and have bought food from here a bunch of times and have tried to make Excuses every time for their crappy food and service and I’m done. You never get what you want - for example I ordered rolled tacos and they specifically asked me if I wanted everything on them including guacamole- I said yes and got home and there just cold cheese on them and they’re super soggy and gross. This has happened to me many times with lots of different food items and at different times - honestly go somewhere else/ this place is horrible!!!!!!!!
