Madras Curry House is an absolute must-visit. A fantastic dining experience from start to finish at a great price!
I came in for the Chicken 65 but stayed for the Honey Garlic Cauliflower — absolutely incredible. This place has all the right vibes: warm, inviting, and full of personality. Our waiter was incredibly nice, super informative, and made the whole experience even better. Every single dish we tried was delicious. I’ve already told all my friends they have to come here, and I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended!
We stopped by here tonight to check this new-ish place out since we loveeeeeee great Indian food. This restaurant opened sometime around June of 2025 and judging by the reviews, we aren’t the only one that walked away super duper happy with every aspect of our dinner there. Immediately upon entering we were greeted by Rishi, and he definitely gets the gold star for hospitality, knowledge of the menu and 5 🌟🤩 recommendations as to what to order! I first tried the Chicken Tikka Cheese Naan and Omgoodness it was out of this world amazing for only $6.50! I tried to refrain from eating too much but it is what it is… Next, Tony ordered the Chicken Tikka Kabob - and it came out with HUGE, tender, juicy, perfectly marinated and the exact amount of medium spicy heat that was absolutely delicious! It’s served with the grilled chunks of onions and peppers on a bed of fresh lettuce that was to-die-for with the juices that flowed from the chicken. He was able to eat less than half of the incredibly generous portion! Unbelievably good! I went with the amazingly good deal for $25 which included a chicken appetizer, chicken dish, rice that is out of this world good. Perfectly tender, firm rice (which I would definitely put on my short list of foods I could live on for the rest of my life) & garlic naan that almost me into a garlicky, carb-induced coma - heaven. Thanks to Rishi’s suggestion, I chose the Chicken 65 for my appetizer (see photos) these are bite size, super moist, marinated, spicy fried pieces of chicken perfection! Think the best version of spicy popcorn chicken you’ve never ever encountered at any fast food joint - AMAZING. These are so good they are definitely entree-style satisfying all day long. Then I ordered the chicken tikka masala for my entree and it did not disappoint - one of my standalone go-to comfort foods for sure - the sauce was so creamy and the chicken so tender! The food was just outstanding, comforting to the soul & just so incredibly yummy. The garlic naan had the perfect amount of chopped fresh garlic, herbs and butter - so good. Then to top it all off - they let me try a small cup of the Pineapple Kesari (it’s like Rishi was ready my greedy little mind when he brought it out 😋) - I had no idea this magical wonder of the Indian dessert world even existed but NOW I DO - and my life will be soooooo much better for it! It’s a sweet (think pineapple upside down flavor but without the toothache inducing sugar saturation level) pudding made from semolina, sugar, ghee (yippeeeee), pineapple chunks & a touch of saffron. You have simply gotta get some of this!!! Homemade goodness! The TLDR: WE CANNOT WAIT TO COME BACK!!! We wanna try it all! Soooooo great. Service was impeccable, restaurant was incredibly clean & the food was so fast, so fresh & such amazing quality for a great price!
The food was SUMPTUOUS. The flavors are so delicious and you can tell all the ingredients are fresh. Our server Rishy recommended me the Chicken Gongura, which was a tangy curry made with sorrel leaves. I loved it—a unique, rich flavor I would try again. My friend had the combo platter with chicken tikka masala, chicken 65, and a cup of dessert—it was a warm, lightly spiced mango compote. I am definitely going to be a frequent customer here. You will not be disappointed!
Clean place, great service and delicious food. We had the opportunity to order the cauliflower, Parmesan cheese, chicken 65, white rice and chicken chettinadu in sauce everything was delicious. Next time we visit Houston we will definitely come back.
I took one star off for atmosphere because they don't have traditional silverware and plates. More of a to go vibe. That being said, food was amazing. Rice was perfect! Be ware, their "mild" will still cause some pain for spice novices, but it is tolerable. They brought my wife, spice novice, a yogurt drink to soothe her firey mouth. Could not be happier these guys made the trip to give use a palace of curry! Goat curry was unbelievable! Naan, perfect!
I have to say I found my new favorite Indian restaurant. We came across them few months ago and tried out few of their dishes. We had ordered from Ubereats. However this time we decided to order a tray size of Goat biryani through their website. Going to the drive thru I interacted with Rishi. An absolute gentleman with amazing customer service skill. He made effective communication and made sure our order was taken care of. Their biryanis taste excellent and it always comes out fresh and yummy. Finally a biriyani that’s not greasy or mushy. Perfectly cooked with right balance of salt.
Always up for a yummy curry, came into Madras and was not disappointed. 🙌They have various curry options with different levels of spice 🌶️, you choose. They also have several options- vegetarian, chicken, beef , goat that I can remember. Faves for today were: Madras curry combo : included tikka chicken appetizer and a pineapple dessert that was yummy 😋 Chicken Curry Entree Note: the combo comes with appetizer and dessert while the Entre came with just rice on the side. Both good options and good portions.
Customer service was excellent! The nice lady and gentleman at the front were so welcoming and patient, helping me and my wife understand the menu and choose what to order. They made the whole experience easy, friendly, and enjoyable. The restaurant is clean, inviting, and the food looked amazing from the moment we walked in. We really appreciate great service, and they definitely delivered. Highly recommend visiting Madras Curry House! 🙌🏽🍛
My wife and I went to this restaurant to try the chicken 65 biriyani when we visited Spring, Texas. Both the food and customer service are top-notch. I will recommend anyone wanting chicken 65 biriyani to this restaurant; the food is amazing. We order a chicken biriyani along with an order of chicken 65. If you like a lot of chicken in your biriyani, then order a set of chicken 65 along with your biriyani, and order your biriyani spicy instead of mild.
This place is a hidden gem! Boletho ek dum jakhaas! All meat is halal & food was surprisingly delicious. Customer service was perfect! In sha Allah. I will be back.
The food is amazing! I had the combo and everything was on another level! The flavors were exquisite. Service was excellent as well. This place definitely will be on my must visit frequently list!
I’m only in town for a couple days, here for work. I am so happy that I ate here for lunch. I got a combo plate which came with an appetizer, your choice of meat or veggie main dish, rice, naan and a small dessert. I chose the chicken chettinadu for my main dish and chicken 65 as my appetizer. This meal was so flavorful and so filling. I wish I lived in the area to make more frequent visits. Definitely a must if you love the taste of authentic Indian cuisine.
Tried Madras Curry House for the first time recently, and it’s the kind of place you instantly know you’ll be coming back to. We ordered the Chicken Biryani and Butter Chicken, and both dishes were spot on. The biryani had vibrant colors, tender chicken, and perfectly balanced spices not overly heavy, but still packed with flavor. The butter chicken was rich and creamy without being greasy, and the naan on the side was fresh and warm. Portions are generous for the price, and you can tell everything is made fresh. Even the presentation stood out not something you always see in a casual dine-in setting. Service was friendly and attentive. Our server made sure we had everything we needed without hovering, and the food came out quicker than expected. The atmosphere is casual and clean, making it comfortable whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or sitting down for a longer dinner. If you’re into Indian food, or even if you’re trying it for the first time, this place is an easy recommendation. Fresh flavors, good portions, and a staff that clearly cares about the food they’re serving. Definitely adding this spot to my regular rotation.
Food is so good, hot served, flavorful! And the staff are so nice and welcoming. Our family enjoyed our dinner. Thank you will surely come back!🤗 We ordered saag, biryani, chicken tikka, and butter chicken. The garlic naan is so good. The chutney-yogurt is amazing perfect match with chicken tikka.
The owner Sakthi recently opened this gem in Spring, TX, and it is already serving some of the most delicious and authentic meals we have had in the area. Even though they have only been open for a month, we have already tried so many of their dishes and have been impressed every single time. We had some staples like the Biryani, Butter Chicken, and Samosa Chaat, and they were all absolutely delicious. I am already eyeing the Butter Chicken Pizza for the next time I stop in. The portions are generous, the space is cozy and clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful when giving recommendations. Hopefully next time I can take more pictures before digging in to this amazing food, but everything has just been too good to wait.
I took my children for lunch to try both the cheese and chicken pizzas. They had a weekend special of 25% off of pizzas which made for a great deal. We also tried the paneer naan and the chicken wings. Everything was so delicious, fresh, and very flavorful. The gentlemen were so kind, friendly, and attentive. The restaurant itself is very vibrant, clean, and colorful. It was a wonderful experience and I cannot wait to try more of their food as they have a lot of options. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Let me tell you, I am so glad that this place opened up. I love Indian food, and Tarka just wasn't cutting it. Me and my family came in around 12 on a Sunday. We ordered Special Chicken Biryani, Tikka Chicken Kebab (surprised it didn't come with rice though), Garlic Buttered Naan, and Samosas (Punjabi). My young daughters are super picky, cant tolerate spicy well, and the dishes were noticeably tuned down in the spice department per request, but the flavor was still great. It is a relatively small dining room, and they served bottled/canned sodas, but those are my ONLY gripes and they are so very minor. I hope this place does well at this location and sticks around. I will definitely be back frequently. I wish I thought to take pictures of the food before everyone went to town on it, the only thing that looked presentable after a few minutes was the naan, so I will include a picture of that.

A Hidden Gem! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the flavors were truly authentic. I ordered the chicken curry (yes, I went with the classic 😄) paired with garlic naan, and it exceeded my expectations. Even though this was my first visit, I have no doubt the quality of the other dishes matches the excellence of the chicken curry. Can’t wait to come back and explore more of the menu
I visited Madras curry house and was blown away by the food! I had the vegetarian entrees, and every dish was packed with rich, delicious flavors. The restaurant is very clean with a welcoming atmosphere, and the staff were super friendly. This has officially become my go-to spot! I can’t wait to come back and try the biryani and goat curry. Highly recommend—this place won’t disappoint!
This restaurant was an absolute standout from start to finish. The food was incredibly fresh, vibrant, and full of authentic Indian flavor—every dish tasted like it was made with care and high-quality ingredients. The spices were perfectly balanced, rich without being overpowering, and you could truly taste the freshness in every bite. What made the experience even better was the excellent service. The staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the food. They were happy to make recommendations and ensured everything came out perfectly timed and exactly as ordered. From the aroma when the dishes hit the table to the last bite, this was one of the most satisfying Indian meals I’ve had. It’s clear this restaurant takes pride in both their cuisine and their hospitality. Highly recommended—this is a place I will absolutely be returning to and telling others about.
Add to your list to visit!! Came in on a Sunday evening, it was calm & laid back. I ordered a chicken curry combo, the waiter had great recommendations! It was a lot of food for the price. Even though we did dine in, everything was served in to-go containers which i really liked. It made taking my food with me easier because i was running late to a movie. The food itself was amazing, especially the chile pakran. I thought about my left overs basically the whole time during the movie.

I recently ordered the Goat Biryani from Madras Curry, the last one listed on their menu. It definitely looked grand and the portion size was generous. The taste was good overall, but I was expecting it to be a bit more flavorful and aromatic given the presentation. I also tried the kebabs, which were okay but could definitely be juicier and more seasoned. That said, the service was excellent, friendly, quick, and attentive, which made the overall experience pleasant. I’d still go back to try other dishes, but there’s room for improvement on the flavors.
