I am not one for reviews but I have to share our wonderful experience at cafe Luna. After attending a wake, we arrived at Cafe Luna in Staten Island around 9:30 PM on Tuesday evening, well past typical dinner hours—but were welcomed in with warmth and open arms. From the moment we stepped in, we were treated like family. The staff’s kindness and attentiveness made all the difference during a tough evening. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. A special shoutout to Alessandro, the owner, who went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and well taken care of. His friendly demeanor and genuine hospitality made a lasting impression. This is more than just a restaurant—it’s a place that truly cares about its guests. Highly recommend Cafe Luna for both the food and the heart behind it.

Amazing, entrees under 30. Large portions spaghetti and clams amazing as well as bolognese! Sweet and sour calamari, coconut shrimp, pear salad and pizza the bomb! Service and hospitality top notch! A must try!! Never disappoints, great party room, I have had several over the years but I haven’t been back in a while! Worth the trip from tottenville!

We went here on a Tuesday night so the restaurant was relatively quiet. Staff was very attentive and pleasant. Food was served quickly nobody had any complaints about their meals and everything was delicious. I personally had the pork chops and peppers very flavorful cooked well and large size portions for all.

Great Italian restaurant. They also have good pizza. Six slice pie. Available in restaurant or take out. In restaurant it is served on a hot stone. More parking than it appears as there is parking in the back. Pizza is a 7.1

Had lunch with some very amazing people and we couldn’t have had a better time. Really good food.. attentive staff.. you like Italian? This is the place!! Shared chicken parm with my wife and it was as if I got an entire plate myself!!

Outstanding Service. We were eight family members celebrating my mother in-laws 75 birthday and the attention was superb from beginning to end our waiter he didn't miss a beat. My wife is a stickler for service, and this is one of the few times she complimented the service at a restaurant. The servers were friendly My favorite plates were the Octopus Salad and the Chicken Marsala We had the house wine. Although I found the menu a bit expensive, it was worth every penny especially for this special occasion. I highly recommend this place.

I've been eating here for the past 15+ years. I've tried almost everything on the menu and have yet to get stuck. The food has always been great, with no issues. The pizza options are excellent, too. The atmosphere is very relaxing. All the employees are well-versed and polite. Every time I eat at Cafe Luna, I leave satisfied. The prices are reasonable for the portions served.
