I ordered on DoorDash. My girlfriend liked her sandwich, and the salad looks good. The cookies are good too. But my sandwich, however was horrible. it took three bites to even get to the meat. All I got was turkey, cheese, and mayo. There was basically no mayo at all, and it was so bland and just not good. jersey mikes is so much better

I order from this Potbelly frequently, and for whatever reason I’ve forgotten to review it until now. Over the years, my experiences here have been up and down. On average, I’d rate the food a solid 4, while service has hovered around a 3. It’s really a hit-or-miss depending on the day. Today was one of those “miss” days, and the coldness of the staff is what prompted this review. I walked in with my son and noticed a girl sweeping — she gave us a slight smile, nothing major. We got in line with no one ahead of us, but one staff member was busy wrapping salad containers and didn’t acknowledge us. Then, a guy cut ahead to grab his online order — no big deal — but suddenly two more employees appeared from the back, and we were finally helped. Unfortunately, the lady who took our order had a tone that came off as rude and dismissive. I get it — people have bad days — but bad days can still leave a bad impression. What bothered me most was my son asking, “Why are they ignoring us?” That’s what really stuck with me. Normally I’d brush it off, but this time I felt it deserved to be noted. I’ll adjust my review after my next visit if things improve. For now, posting a less-than-great photo feels fitting for a less-than-great experience.

Was thinking of a spot to go to lunch and was torn between potbelly's and Jersey mikes. I ultimately decided on potbelly's because I really wanted to sit near a window for some reason. I have come to this location before and have previously delivered good sandwhiches. I ordered the 7.99 combo and choose a skinny turkey sandwich. Upon recieving the sandwich, it looked like I ordered bread stuffed with lettuce. After sifting through the lettuce I was able to find what little there was of the turkey and cheese. This was my first time ordering this combo, so I'm not sure if it's customary for the sandwich to come with 2-3 slices of turkey and barely any cheese. But regardless, the experience was exceptionally disappointing and I wish I had gone to jersey mikes instead because even their smallest sandwich is bigger and contains more meat and cheese for a similar price to potbelly's. I have attached an image for reference. While I was dissatisfied with the sandwich, I still ate it because I barely ate in the morning and was not in the mood to discuss this with the staff. I just wanted to eat and get back to work. I will not be returning in the future.

Spent 25 dollars on a Door Dash order for a Turkey Breast sandwich and I got meat and bread. Look at their menu then look what I got. Door Dash refused to do anything either

I took my family to this location yesterday, this guy with the nose ring was so disrespectful to the point we walked out. If you hate your job find a new one customer service was horrible....from his tone which was very aggressive to his non welcoming demeanor.i will not be going back to this location. Anymore hope Missouri city opens soon!

I don’t usually write reviews, but this one really bothered me because I genuinely love Potbelly’s food. And my sandwich and soup WERE good. But the only person who was kind to me tonight was the first girl who asked what bread I wanted. After that, it completely shifted. The guy making my sandwich didn’t look at me, didn’t acknowledge me, nothing. Just cold and clearly irritated. The pink-haired guy at the register was the same way. No warmth. No friendliness. Just rude. Dismissive. Rolled his eyes when I asked for a bag and tossed it at me. I was polite the entire time. I said please and thank you. I even tipped 20% because maybe they were having a bad day. I get it. I work in customer service too. We all have off days. But I walked out feeling completely unwelcome and honestly kind of dismissed. Basic courtesy doesn’t cost anything. A simple smile or eye contact goes a long way. I love the food, but the energy in there was awful. I won’t be coming back to this location, unfortunately, because it is the most convenient location for me.

I have eaten at potbelly before and service has been up and down always but today was worse. We try to order it from drive through but the lady in the front desk couldn't hear us. We came inside and the front desk lady was so rude, uncooperative and dismissive. We were giving our order and she just kept moving, it was a pain to finish our order. We ordered 3 avacodo sandwiches and they didn't have any avocados but she didn't offer any alternate to compensate for missing avocados. At the checkout counter, we have to repeat our order again, wait for another 10 minutes after telling two other employees to bring us Mac and cheese bowl we ordered. Overall terrible service even though we were the only one ordering our food.

Worst customer service experience ever had! Was in the drive through for 42 minutes yesterday afternoon. I couldn’t even leave because I was stuck in between 2 cars. When I finally got to order after the first 22 minutes of waiting, the lady that took my order was very rude, had an attitude and cut me off in the middle of ordering and said “hold on”. I only ordered 2 sandwiches. When she finally came back on w the same bad attitude, I had to repeat my order and asked for a combo for my sandwich. She never asked what kind of chips or drink I wanted. I asked for her to add a cookie and it was complete silence. She completely ignored me. When I finally pulled up to the window 20 min. later, she never greeted me, had an awful attitude and I said “hello”….crickets; no response! She finally speaks and asks if I had 2 sandwiches. I told her yes but one was a combo and she rolled her eyes and asked “you want a combo”? I said yes, that’s what I asked for at the drive through. She starts to add that on the register and I ask her to add a cookie for the 2nd time and she ignored me again. She never asked what kind of drink I wanted so I just told her. No response and of course she gives me the WRONG drink. At that point, I was so frustrated, there was a long line behind me and I did not want to deal with her attitude any longer. Completely ruined my appetite! I asked her if I can pay Apple Pay and again, she rolls her eyes and hesitantly pulls out the credit card machine for me to scan my phone! Why should that even be an issue? After I paid…$31.77 and I left completely frustrated, I realized she never gave me a receipt so I don’t even know if I was charged for one or two combos and the cookie that I never got! I understand people have bad days, but when you work in the customer service industry, you need to put that aside and treat paying customers with a little more respect and kindness. There is no need for the attitude! This needs to be addressed. Super disappointed. I don’t even know what I paid for since I never received a receipt. Will never return to this location!

the guy with the bull nose ring and tattoos that worked tonight 11/7/25 is very rude.he looks at you crazy and make you feel unwelcomed .he talks to you in a aggressive tone like he has a bad attitude.it was to the point where we didn't want to continue with the order we ended up just stopping the order as he was about to put the sandwich together because we didn't want that energy and we knew it wouldn't be right just for how he was handling us . we love to go around reviewing food at different restaurants but his attitude was not going to get our money. I never felt so unwelcomed and talked at a restaurant to the way that he did us. I'll never go back to this location if he is there. we were very happy to walk in and try to order but we just couldn't continue with our order because he was plain rude .his facial expressions down to his ton in voice when talking to us. very unpleasant.

Terrible experience at Potbelly! I had an awful experience here. My sandwich was made wrong with bacon even though I specifically said I can’t eat pork. When I asked for it to be fixed, the manager (short African American woman) working was extremely rude and unprofessional — she raised her voice, used profanity, and gave me a hard time instead of helping. I asked to speak with the general manager, but no one responded or seemed to care. On top of that, the cookie I got was rock solid, like it was days old. Very disappointing and unprofessional service all around especially from the manager — I won’t be coming back. Don’t even know if I am receiving a refund or not so upper management contact.

Always have great reviews to potbelly especially the sugar land one but today was atrocious. Order my usual and more bread than ingredients. Heavily disappointed $31 for 3 sandwiches. Not worth it.

I tried giving this place a try. This was my first time coming in I came in at 1:50pm. It was actually surprisingly so bad. There was only one person who was checking people out, and most importantly the individual wore blue gym shorts, with crocs on (not in sports mode). if you are considering getting a high quality sandwich go to jersey mikes or any other place. if I could level no stars I would

I've been a Potbelly's fan for a while, but lately, the service has been really frustrating. It seems like they're hiring people who don't know the menu or how things work. And when you try to explain something, they get all annoyed with you. It's not a good experience. They couldn't even get my order right – a Chicken Club with avocado – and got so frustrated they refused to serve me. There's no customer service at all. They really need to think about who they're hiring these days and how it affects the customer experience.

Just ordered a delivery from uber eats for a 1/2 skinny ham and 1/2 apple walnut salad. The salad was absolutely nasty with rotted apples. The bread was old. Uber eats is worthless for refunds. Lesson learned. Twice I’ve tried this place and both times it was disappointing. Will never come back.
