We had been searching for a long time around Cupertino for a café that makes good sushi rolls. The task wasn’t easy, but I decided to stop by Bay Sushi and order a few rolls to go. We were pleasantly surprised by the staff — their attentiveness and attention to detail stood out. Our order was ready in less than 10 minutes, and we were delighted with the quality and taste of the rolls. Everything was just right, and now we know where to enjoy healthy and delicious food. Thanks to the chefs and the staff!

Stopped in here on a whim for dinner and could not have been more pleased. The staff were friendly, the sushi and gyoza were amazing, and the ambience was relaxing. This is now my favorite sushi spot in the area!

The previous reviews aren't an exaggeration, they really make you feel like family here. The service was the best I've had in a very long time! I absolutely love the decor. All the plants, hanging lights and art really makes this small space cozy instead of cramped. They dont have many tables but everything is really fast so I didn't see anyone have to wait for a table. You can get a miso soup, salad and sushi roll for about $20 a person so this is a nice lunch spot. Good food, good service and good prices. We'll definitely be back

This is really good Japanese food. The special healthy rice option is a great choice. The special dinner for two was gut busting and delicious! The prices have gone up a bit but that’s true of everywhere. The sushi and sashimi is generous and tasty

My wife and I finally visited this place, and we actually don’t live that far away. It is a definite keeper. We both had combo dinners and the tastes are delicate and delicious for both teriyaki and tempura. Did not try the sushi. Very friendly service. Overall excellent place for our tastes.

Bay Sushi has been one of my favorite sushi spots for the longest time. The freshness, authenticity, and exceptional service set it apart. I’ve learned my lesson—never again will I gamble on a random sushi place because, compared to Bay Sushi, nothing else comes close. I truly appreciate the integrity and authenticity in how this restaurant is run. If you’re looking for the best sushi experience, Bay Sushi comes highly recommended!

The taste is alittle diff. The fish is very fresh but somehow not sweet at all. The Hamachi kama is alittle of a letdown. It used to be grilled to perfection now its like deep fried. It's not as juicy and tender.

The $15 toro is fatty and melt in your mouth good. But the salmon didn't taste so fresh and the tuna was pink and not red.

I’ve eaten here before, and maybe it was just an off-night, but the sushi dinner was unappetizingly fishy smelling. Rice was soggy and the whole thing felt stale, like it was sitting for hours. The miso soup and salad were excellent, however.
