Delicious! You get a lot of food here with what you pay for (about $10 for a bowl). The people working here are very welcoming and attentive, they fill your drinks without you asking which is a plus! Only had to wait about 5 minutes for the food to come out and it was nice and hot. Would definitely be coming back here again
A quiet humble lunch place. Fabulous korean flavors and very reasonable prices. More authentic and clean tasting than the rows and rows of overpriced korean restaurants along el Camino.
Binimbowl is a hidden gem of a restaurant located in the heart of Sunnyvale, CA. The restaurant specializes in Korean-inspired cuisine, and is known for its unique take on the traditional bibimbap dish. With a laid-back atmosphere, friendly service, and an impressive menu, Binimbowl is a great choice for those seeking a healthy, yet satisfying meal. One of the standout features of Binimbowl is their extensive vegetarian options. They offer a variety of vegetable-based bowls that are packed with flavor and nutrition. The vegetable bibimbap bowl is a must-try, featuring a variety of fresh veggies, crispy tofu, and a perfectly cooked egg on top. The spicy mushroom bowl is also a great choice, with a mix of mushrooms, spinach, and other veggies in a spicy sauce. The restaurant also offers a wide range of sauces and toppings that can be customized to your liking. In addition to their vegetarian options, Binimbowl also offers meat-based dishes, including bulgogi and spicy pork bowls. The prices are reasonable, with most bowls costing around $12-$14. The portion sizes are generous, so you definitely won't leave hungry. Overall, Binimbowl is a great choice for anyone looking for a healthy, flavorful meal. The vegetarian options are especially impressive, and the prices are reasonable for the quality of food. If you're in the Sunnyvale area, be sure to check it out!
This is an all-around great restaurant. The food is delicious, health, and I like the simple ordering style of their menu. Even though the menu is simple you still have a lot of options and great customibility. The price is well worth it because of the amount of food that they provide. The service is quick and always pleasent.
Delicious Korean healthy food at good prices. The tofu is even good. Variety of sauces and protein options. Polite service and quick food. Take out available.
The food is amazing. I wish I could eat here everyday.
I enjoyed the meal a lot. I thought the value for the bibimbap was very good, with a large hot rock bowl, and miso soup for $8.99. The mandu dumplings were also good. It can get very busy at lunch time during the week and they are open odd hours and closed Sundays, so keep that in mind. A couple of negatives, the menus themselves were kind of sticky and the egg on top was a little overcooked. Again though, good value and pretty healthy.
Perfect quick service Korean restaurant.
I'm a big fan of the Korean hot stone bowl, and Bibimbowl makes an excellent one. They have other items on the menu (like the seafood pancake, that my family enjoys) and have various easy customization options, including an egg that can be added.
We went about 10 min to closing time. They were generous to let us eat in. We loved the food and the ambiance. Ordered hot stone bowls with beef, chicken, pork.
Went here for lunch. Got the Hot Stone - Chicken and Shrimp with Brown rice. As the name suggests, the bowl was super hot (almost sizzling) which enhanced the taste of the food. The chicken and shrimp were very tasty and the food was hot till the last bite. Loved the crispy brown rice that got stuck to the stone :D For obvious reasons the hot stone is available when you dine is, so would recommend eating here to get a better experience.
Consistently good food and great service. I usually come here a couple times a month. Everyone is so sweet; if you're nervous about trying Korean food for some reason, this is a great place to go. I usually get a hot stone bowl (you order kinda Chipotle-style) and the portion size is perfect.
This place is great! Very vegitarian friendly Korean restaurant, the staff is helpful and nice, and the food is delicious. I wish they offered the crispy tofu from the starters as the standard tofu on the following sorry bibimbap, because the one it comes with is tasty but has an odd sticky texture. Otherwise great food.
Stone bowl is very good. The rice has this almost-burnt texture that adds a nice touch. Just be careful to wait for it to cool down; it comes out steaming.
Fast service and good selection of vegetarian items. Had the bibimbowl with brown rice, tofu & sweet & sour sauce. The vegetables were fresh and crunchy. Banchan served were spicy kimchi and crunchy cucumbers.
I usually get takeout here but the staff is friendly and the food here is so good. I love the plates since there is so much variety in the food. Definitely enough to fill me up (sometimes a little more than I'd like).
I recently moved to area and walk with kimmy to nearby park. Bibimbowl is on the route. So far try bento type box for lunch and tacos 🌮. Excellent!!! Service with a smile. Probably too americanized for a purist but perfect for my taste. Patio for kimmy. Highly recommend and kimmy gives 2 paws up.
Great place to eat Korean food. They do have some vegetarian options. Staff is really good & food is tasty as well.
Very clean place. Nice staff. Very easy ordering system and good food

The food tastes good, but is a little bit expensive.
Bibimbowl was absolutely delicious. I got the Hot Stone (only available if you dine in!) and it came out sizzling and hot. The beef was really tender and tasty, I loved all the toppings, and the rice with the hot plate was great. I think if I wanted it to curst up more, I probably would have needed to let the rice just sit for longer, but I wanted to keep stirring it just to avoid it getting mouth burning hot. The staff was really friendly, both helping us order (it was our first time there) and even getting me some miso soup (included!) after we sat down. They had enough tables that even lunch at noon on a Friday there was no one in the tables next to us. The one downside was that it was expensive. Not something you go to every day, but it was definitely tasty enough that I don't think the price will stop me from coming back many times.
The hot stone bowl was delicious, felt fresh and healthy! The lady at the front was very kind, too! Highly recommend.

Came here for the first time with a few friends. We ordered a spicy soontofu and a hot stone bibimbap. The food surprisingly was pretty good. The food felt a bit westernized. We ordered the spiciest tofu soup but it wasn't spicy at all. And also you don't get as many side dishes (banchan) as you would at a typical Korean restaurant. But overall, the place is very clean, the menu is simple and the staff is friendly. For sure a stop if you are craving for a hot stone bibimbap.
Good food, very consistent, and the sauces have more flavor than some of the competition in the area. Best tip is to call ahead if you are placing a to go order, as they get very busy during lunch. Also, go early if you want a table. The customer throughput is pretty quick, but the place is small and there are a lot of people who come here for lunch. Pretty much everything on the menu is good, but I would advise ordering the spicy chicken over the chicken breast.
We ordered bulgogi, spring rolls, and shrimp & green onion pancakes for delivery, and everything was tasty. The portion were generous without being excessive, it was good value for the money in this expensive area. Will order again. P.S.: If you want true Korean-strength spice levels, you have to let them know -- but honestly, I was OK with the gentle spices. :-)
I visit frequently when I'm in Sunnyvale. Reliably delicious and fast service for takeout. Seating is poor during lunch rush, so its just easier to plan on takeout! Could use a bit more variety, but the limited menu and 1 - 2 - 3 ordering method makes things move quickly.
Randomly came across this place when I did a search for dol sot bibimbap. It's in a completely unexpected strip mall in the middle of all these tech companies with a few other faster food restaurants. There were a few tables you could eat at outside. We tried both the dol sot bibimbap and the combo tofu soup. The tofu soup was a little on the salty side for me but we really enjoyed the bibimbap. Very quick and good.
Kimchi Pancake was quite oily. Edamame are good, proper sea salt and well boiled. The bowls are good portions, gives options of white/brown rice. It could use more veggies though. Quick service and good set of options for meat lovers and vegetarians
The food was exceptional. It would be a go-to for something to ease your hunger as soon as possible, as most of the orders are efficiently delivered. No doubt, as foodies, me and my family enjoyed the food overall, but what was significant was the number of vegetarian options. In Korean cuisine, there aren’t so many of them… However, at BibimBowl, we found around as many no-meat options as meaty options in each category. For people who prefer to get something with no gluten, they provide a wide range of gluten-free dishes as well. Everything, from service to food to ambience, was great. It felt welcoming, like something that would stay with you forever. Must visit!
I really enjoyed this Korean fast food place. I recently went with my coworker and boss. He went previously and offered to take us for lunch. They both had the hot rice plates but I had to try the tofu soup (one of my favorite dishes). It took a little long for me to receive my soup but man was it loaded. It was a little strange for my egg to be already placed inside but o well, no big deal. Tons of clams, soft tofu and a giant prawn which I saved for the end. The lady at the register was super friendly and I really enjoyed her energy. In short a very nice experience and I will be back in the near future.
The food here was great. We ordered the stone plate dish which is very good. I also liked their kimchi. Their hot sauce(gochujang) wasn't as spicy as expected. It was more on the sweeter side. However, overall good experience.
Standard lunch place with lunch menu offerings It’s quick , healthy & hot food. Choice of protein with rice / salad and pickled/ fermented vegetables Tasty - yea ; healthy - yea . Potstickers were my only gripe - I could taste the oil The spicy gochujang sauce is given as a side if you want the meat spiced up
Really enjoyed the service here, and all the small plates that are included with the meal. They have lots of customization to the hot stone bowls which is what my friends and I ordered during our meal. The ingredients for the hot stone bowl were fresh but I found myself constantly going for the red sauce to enhance every bite. The Korean savory pancakes were great though so definitely try them! It is a cozy restaurant, but can still fit size of up to 8 pretty comfortably. I'd go here again!
Came here on a Thursday night and it was empty so there was a lot of space to sit! Good: - Decently fast service - food came after 10-15 minutes - Loved the bowls and got a hot stone with beef which was so tasty with the fried egg and gochujang - Food came out fresh and tasted like it Bad: - Pretty casual no frills place and service is pretty much self serve Overall a solid place for clean Korean food and decent prices too.

This place used to be amazing a couple of years ago. Now, the portion size is reduced. The hot stone bowl wasn't even hot, it was lukewarm and the food was not sizzling and crisping up on the bowl. Sides like edmame and soup were given in plastic containers even for dine in, so they too were cold. They no longer give all the traditional sides to accompany. I wish this place goes back to how good it was. But wouldn't recommend in current state.
This place is probably fine for some takeout when you're really craving relatively quick Korean food, but overall it was a disappointment. I decided to try this place out when I was looking for a quick comforting meal on a Friday night and tried a few dishes: - Kimchi pancake - This was pretty decent. - Tofu hot stone bowl - I got this with the citron soy and really liked the sweetness on the tofu. However, the rest of it was just okay. - Kimchi tofu soup - The kimchi wasn't flavored strongly enough and the soup didn't have enough body or richness. I also felt that the portions were too small, the kimchi side was not the right type of cabbage and not fermented enough, sit-down service wasn't as fast as I'd hoped, and the restaurant ran out of white rice 50 minutes before closing, which is problematic. This place wasn't terrible, but probably not worth the time or price most of the time.
Ordered the soft tofu soup meal. I must say it was very very good. The side portion of Kim Chee was microscopic. The guy who was running the register (I guess the owner), needs to lighten up. Reminds me of the Soup Kitchen episode on Seinfeld.
I ordered a beef bibimbop for take out. Service is quick and flavor is there. But the rice portion was just too small. My 18months old finished all the steam rice, he is not a big eater.
There are not many parking space for this plaza, luckily got the last parking space at 12. The place was full and luckily sat down after 5 mins. This is the first place that I have been to allow selection of different items for Bibimbap, refreshing. They only had 2 little dishes while we waited for the food, cucumber and kimchi, a little disappointed as I always enjoyed the variety of little korean dishes. The main dish came and right away I noticed the bowl was shallower than other korean places. I guess that was a way to keep the cost down but just not enough to eat. The food was okay, a little bland but supposedly healthier.
Food flavor was okay, but expensive given the small portions. Korean but only comes with 2 side dishes, kimchi and cucumbers. All their cups, sauce bottles, and stuff were very cute though. My seafood tofu had medium spice but just barely spicy. Service was fast and friendly.

The food is good but I have watched the price increase while the quantity decreases for the last 3 years. Today, their classic bowl is about $17.50 with tip included and the size isn’t large enough for me to call it a full meal.

Did not like the service or the staff. The staff pretended like we didn't exist and had to make ourself known twice before they took our order (but were eager to take the order of person behind us). The order ended up being incorrect, food was partly burned, missing the miso soup when it was served. I am willing to overlook the slow/sloppy food serving due to staff shortage. But other behavior is unacceptable. Overall not a good experience.
I noticed that an older gentleman employee, wearing glasses and Hoka shoes, did not wash his hands after throwing something away in the large volume outdoor commerical garbage container. He then combed his hair with his hand before returning to work. This raised concerns for me about proper hygiene practices, he probably never washed his hands and I did observ he grabs the plastic container by the insides. He needs to retake the food safety course, and customers need to watch him for bad hygiene and call him out

Forced to pay Tip!!!! This place we order our food at the counter and pick up our trash afterwards. They make the food for you which you pay for and that’s what the owner pays them to do. When we were leaving the fast food restaurant the lady gave my wife a copy of our bill and forced her to leave a tip when we did half the work for them. They even messed up our order by giving one of our dishes to a DoorDash delivery😂. My annoyance was the rudeness of the lady in calling out my wife and putting her on the spot to leave a tip as she was walking out the door.
Very rude staff. Not sure if the guy was the owner, but he was extremely rude to explain the menu, and to take the order, and he didn’t want to provide enough soy sauce . I’ll never be back!
Are you all like that? Is it always this rude service? Is it because there's no tip for takeout? I'm not going back. I'm not going back here to be wronged. You're not the only Korean restaurant. It's disgusting. In the end, I didn't eat the food, I don't know the taste, they don't know how much spit in the rude talk, when I think about here, I feel sick.
