My favorite place to get a burrito, why would you ever go to Chipotle and pay $4 extra for guacamole, and you can get a super burrito for $10 here with lots of avocado inside, and they're carne asada has a nice barbecued flavor to it. Good food at a great price

I haven't been in a Super Taqueria since my Gilroy days. Found this place in Sunnyvale and could not pass it up. Flavors are still consistent but the size of the super burrito was a little smaller than the usual from 5 years ago. Obviously, it is the world of higher prices or smaller portions. To be honest, I appreciate the smaller size during luch anyways. Great job as usual Super Teq. Don't change your style. I do appreciate that you guys have updated your system to accept credit cards and ATM cards now.

The food here is incredibly fresh and tasty. It gets a lot of rave reviews from the locals. I was referred to it by a friend and it did not fail to satisfy. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean and ample parking.

No messing around, the use the best ingredients and the food is always the same, absolutely delicious and consistent. Super taqueria doesn't have "a bad day" They are pro's. Super Taqueria is inexpensive. I'll keep this real simple, when you go to a Chipotle, it's a rip off of BAY AREA style Mexican food and even the style of the operation. Places like Super Taqueria are the OG taquerias. If you don't believe me, research it. It's very sad to try and eat Mexican food in SoCal because they lack the skill and know how of flavor and class. People would have their mouth blown off of they were able to try the Mexican food at SUPER TAQUERIA. Enjoy my brothers and sisters!

We ordered two super tacos one asada, one lengua. They were both delicious! Even though they had double tortillas with beans and avocado it was not enough for one person to get full. We also ordered an adobada súper burrito and it was good a size and delicious! The price of the burrito is more worth it than the price of the two tacos. The salsa's were delicious. The red one had a good kick to it and the green one was more mild but plenty of flavor. It's worth visiting this place.

I just had to try it and I can say it was a Super good Carne Asada taco with Beens and Guacamole and Salsa. The next time I will order a Super Burrito 🌯 Asada. I did how ever order a Burrito of Lengua ( tongue) it was good but the steak is better. And so I went the next day to try the steak and I added cilantro and onions and it was very good! The chicken super tacos are SUPER! The meat is always very clean and moist. Even my very picky family really liked the tacos I brought home and asked for directions to the restaurant. The super tacos are excellent! The outside shell is a soft tortilla and the inner shell is crispy, resulting in an amazing blend of textures. The chicken and beef are both very tasty. There are plenty of salsas to satisfy everyone's tastes. Unfortunately I have to knock down a star for cleanliness and the fact that the place only takes cash. Would come back for the delicious tacos, though!

There are some burrito options under $10. The super burrito’s are like 11.50 and just the right size. I love the fact they have squeeze bottles of their sauces when you eat there. The only thing missing, is they don’t have the salad bar that most taquerias have, with the picked onions, jalapenos or lemon/lime wedges.

The super shrimp taco was good, but it was pretty small for what I paid for. The place looks clean and well kept, the employees don't speak much English but they are very friendly. It wasn't busy but getting them to just take my order, make the burrito, and pay took way longer than necessary.

Very good local taqueria chain. Lots of meat options, all very good, and you could choose to go meatless. The super burrito is the favorite. Last time I was there, they made my tortilla chips fresh and the guacamole is very good too. Only three salsa options (red, verde and pico de gallo) but all are good. They also have a few agua frescas.

The cooks and cashier were amazing love them!

Unfortunately with their salsa bar they no longer have the marinated jalapenos and carrots they used to carry and they don't leave the little cups out to help yourself. They make you have to ask them and they limit what they give you. I understand why but it's an added inconvenience. Other than that the service is good and their prices are favorable. They've gone up but not at such a ridiculous rate that you no longer want to go there like many other Mexican restaurants.

This place is very good and the line our the door at lunchtime corroborates that. They are very fast at getting the food out. The only reason for -1, even though it was very good, they used whole pintos instead of refried beans in the super burrito. If they had used really good refried beans with a bit of bacon lard instead, hands down this would have been 9 stars. The staff is amazing. while I was there they easily serviced 100+ people. The line forms fast, but don't worry, it gets whacked really fast. My order was taken, rung up and change delivered in about 15 seconds. I only waited about 5-6 minutes for it to be ready and there were easily 15-20 orders ahead of me. I definitely recommend coming here if it's within your acceptable travel range for lunch while at work. Thanks Super Taqueria!

I've been a Super Taq fan since the late 90's, still my favorite place for a carne asada torta, as is. Made the way they're supposed to be made ... flank steak, white onion, tomato, onion, avocado, and mayo. Add the green sauce for a little more flavor, the red sauce for some heat. Always eat there while its still warm ... can't go wrong!

If you visit this restaurant PLEASE BRING CASH! The food is okay, are there better taquerias? Yes. But for something quick Super Taqueria will fill the spot. 4 stars because they only accept cash. In today’s world they should be able to accept some type of electronic payment.

Apparently this chain had been around for a while, but it's new to me. I'm no judge of authenticity, wasn't expecting a regular taco to have melted cheese and beans on the inner tortilla, but many actual Latinos as customers. Very generous portions. I had two tacos, one would have been a meal. The Nazis looked good too.

Best Mexican Fast Food! I’ve tried some of the best Mexican food here! They have an excellent selection of both fast and healthy options. Every time I’m nearby, I grab their tacos or quesadillas—they’re always fresh and delicious. The onions, tomatoes, and spicy salsas really make the flavors pop. I ordered the Asada Giant Burrito. It had a lot of meat inside and it is much larger than similar offerings at Taco Bell. So it is a good value for money. The taste was good as well, however I would not say it is amazing. They also made it very quickly even though the restaurant is busy, which is good to see. Nice comfortable seating is available as well. The service from the cashier was a bit rude because I was in line, but she went on the phone with someone taking their order ahead of mine.

I bought a chicken burrito. It didn't take very long to receive it. They were super quick. The restaurant wasn't that busy so I was happy with the quick service. The chicken burrito is the only thing on the menu so far that I have tried. It was ok. It was a little bland and the tortilla was a little soggy once I unwrapped the burrito to eat it. I think the shredded chicken mix that they use needs a little more salt. Cash only. There is an ATM inside.

This location has changed. Could be because of quarantine, could be something else but now they skimp out on meat and beans in the tacos. They didn't put much chicken in the flautas either. Flavors were good, but far less actual ingredients than before. It's fine, though we will likely not return as it's not worth paying the full price.

I was visiting the Bay area and had to go back to one of my old favorites from when I lived here. Sad to say - it just did not live up. I ordered a chicken super burrito hold the avocado. Waited in the humid & dimly lit dining room for my food. Got it - no sour cream, no cheese - checked the receipt - I paid for a super burrito - so I took it up to the counter. The cook says there is cheese in there. He proceeds to open the burrito up and points to the tiny bit of white melted cheese. I honestly could not even see it at first until he stuck his finger in my burrito. I asked about the sour cream - he said super burritos don't come with crema. He wanted to charge me to add it. I explained that I left off the avocado, so could he put the crema on as a substitute instead of having to pay more. He claimed to not understand this but finally added the crema anyway. Not good customer service, not good food quality and not great atmosphere .

Pretty good food with larger than average portions. Lighting is pretty minimal and the interior could use some updates. We went just as the sun was setting and it felt pretty dark in the restaurant.

3 stars for decent food. Minus 1 star for Charging for chips and NOT salsa... that's dumb. Minus 1 star for not having a credit/debit card reader. So they force you to the ATM EMBEZZLEMENT machine. Better places around that don't skim or skimp.

Great place with fantastic flavor! The food is consistently delicious, and I always look forward to my meals here. However, the cashiers could use more training or need to pay more attention when taking orders to ensure accuracy. It's unpleasant when you get takeout and your order is missing items or not done correctly. Overall, still a wonderful spot for a tasty meal.

Our 1st experience…amazing! Caveza is what we call Barbacoa in south central Texas. And it tasted just like it. 2nd time, 1 month later, we both opted for quesadillas. Hubby got Caveza on flour. I got corn instead of flour tortillas, I was happy for the option. Yay! However what I got was a single soft corn tortilla, with a pile of chicken and something that resembled picante sauce. No cheese either. I took it back to the counter and said I ordered a quesadilla not a taco. The gentleman said: you ordered corn? I said yes. He then said: that is a corn quesadilla. I’m sorry but when I think quesadilla I think meat or beans layered between 2 tortillas and melted cheese. What I paid for was more like what my husband got. Instead I got a taco. : / Disappointment.

First-time visitor. The cashier was friendly when taking my order for a quesadilla with carne asada. She offered pico de gallo and salsa, and provided two small cups for the salsa. The service was friendly. However, the food was disappointing. The quesadilla was wrapped in foil and small, and the pico de gallo portion was tiny. For $10, it wasn’t worth it. Other taquerias offer a similar quesadilla in a plate wrapped in foil, but with lettuce, crema, a tomato slice, and your choice of salsa for about the same price. I’ll stick with the other location.

Average “fast food” Mexican restaurant serving a variety of Mexican dishes that are somewhat Americanized. Service is fast, location is good, food is average, CASH ONLY (ATM in building). Removed two stars for food quality, cash only, and lack of sides to the food (napkins, hot sauce, etc). The Food: The food here is average. It’s largely Americanized food that is prepared the morning of and kept warm in metal containers, much like Chipotle. The tacos use sliced cheese (which is a first for me), and they put pinto beans in them. They offer hot sauce inside the tacos but don’t give you any on the side. Somewhat unusual for the industry, but the portions are generous and the price is cheap. The Service: CASH ONLY. There is an ATM but that adds 3$ to your meal due to the surcharge. The staff is friendly and quick service. No complaints other than the cash only part. The location: Location is right on el Camino. Super easy to find and no one bothered me when I ate outside.

I got looked at sideways for asking for a breakfast burrito at 8pm... I'm not the only one who loves a little breakfast for dinner, I know that! After watching how other customers were spoken to / reacted to, I began to think that sideways look was the way they looked at everyone. Maybe I was being punished for my obscure request, but this is what I got when I ordered super nachos. Mind you, I ordered to go and didn't see this til I was a couple miles down the road. I’ve been here several times and every interaction with her feels like customers are a burden. This week was the last straw for me. If someone clearly dislikes dealing with customers, they probably shouldn’t be working the front counter. Honestly, I hope the owners consider installing ordering kiosks so customers can avoid these kinds of interactions. As for my order: I paid extra for avocado, but it wasn’t added. Mistakes happen, so I politely went back to the counter, said hello, and showed the line cook my receipt. Instead of simply fixing it, she grabbed the basket and receipt out of my hand, added the avocado, and then tossed the basket back to me. This was in the evening when the place wasn’t busy at all, which made the interaction even more surprising. I asked another employee if the cashier and cook are always like this, and they said yes—they’re often in a bad mood—and they apologized for their behavior. Super Taqueria, please do better. We eat lunch here about every other Saturday afternoon. One of our orders is a super nachos. We ask for it split in 2 boxes so our kids can share. The cooks know us & always do this. This time the short darker complexion manager with drawn in eyebrows said " no, I can not do this for you"! I asked why? She repeated she couldn't do. I dont know why they've done for you before. My husband and I come to eat at Super Taqueria for years. My husband went to place our order while I waited in the car with our grandson. My taco was not as I ordered as dorado (crispy shell) so I ask my husband to take it back, he came back but now without beans. My husband went back again and brought the taco with a huge portion of beans on top (creating a messy sloppy over stuffed taco). So this time I went in and asked for a new taco to be made. The manager was not available and the owner was asked if they can make a new taco for me. He responded "NO". So the cashier told me the owner refused. He wouldn't even come out to speak to me. That was pretty bad on his end for not honoring my request. We have had mistakes many times before with not making tacos as ordered by the staff, but this was also bad on the grill cooks getting it wrong 3 times in a row. Obviously the owner could care less about his customer and made me feel I didn't matter as a customer. I requested my refund and didn't eat as we were traveling home to Roseville. This owner was very rude and I'm sure "JUAN RAMON" was having a bad day and took it out on a regular customer making him feel that much better. So after all these years, we will not be returning due to making his true character known towards his customers. :(

Positive: - Affordable Prices - Great Tasting Food - Healthy Amount Of Protein Negative: - Forced to use old salsa bottles if dinning inside. - Salsa Bar has no containers to package your own salsa unless you are to-go. - Interior is falling apart - Staff were not friendly and seemed annoyed at each customer. Summary: Food from Super Taqueria has been a staple in my life. Forcing me to use your dirty salsa bottle with dried up residue is a huge NO. Salsa needs to be cleaned after every customer and needs to be refrigerated. This location doesn't follow procedure compared to other locations.

I came in with my three daughters today. When my youngest daughter went up to recieve cups for salsa, the lady pretended she did not understand her even when she was speaking clear, loudly and politely. The staff stared at her up and down. I felt uncomfortable at this Super Taqueria because I contuined to be stared at by the staff here and given dirty looks. I believe we are being stereotyped by our enthicy because we look white.

This particular Location started charging much higher prices for the beef tongue and the beef steak burittos and tacos, and putting much less quantities of both that were also watered down. I paid almost $2.00 More for a Beef Tongue Super burrito and only found 2 1 inch cubed pieces in the burrito, and they had NO black beans (only the watery pintos) that filled the burrito. We also ordered 3 beef tongue super tacos and returned them for a refund when they had virtually no meat. The super burrito was basically a bean burrito. They also charged an extra $1.00 for a credit card, but no sign that said a charge for credit cards. When we asked to see the manager, he came by and bluntly said We don't want you back in this pace any more, even though we used to be regular Customers. A call to their senior management is forthcoming, as this happened at lunch time on a Wednesday. Their posted menu and prices have vastly changed, and the higher the prices, the worse the food AND Service.

Absolutely deplorable maintenance filthy dirty eating hall, staff who are polite but in my experience should understand and speak basic English for those who don't speak English...ordering becomes a nightmare although they are courteous and want to help... food used to be amazing but now deserves 2 stars at most... GO to LA Victoria Tacqueria instead with multiple locations in several corners of San Jose...they are the best

Don’t waste your time, they don’t tell you the sizes on the meal so you order twice because food is small straight rip off, staff is the worse not worth your time

This was my first visit. Ordered a grilled chicken americano burrito. I was surprised that it was a bit on the small size but really surprised to find that the had included no chicken. Not a chunk or sliver was to be found. I rec’d a cold lettuce and tomato burrito but was already home by the time I figured it out. The only plus was that the flour tortilla was pretty tasty.

Ordered Super Tacos. For some reason my tacos were only given a tiny brown sliver of avocado (super taco is different from regular taco because of the added avocado) but I saw other orders loaded with it. So disappointing!

I am a traveling nurse and I love to try new restaurants. What a disappointment this place was for myself and my coworker. The customer service was horrible. The cashier was rude and made what I felt to be a racially motivated comment and when I spoke with the supervisor she backed up the cashier. And to top it off when I received my order it was wrong and had to be redone. All of this and not one apology. It was very clear to me that they could care less about me coming back. I won't go again and do not recommend this restaurant.

Called 20 minutes in advance and when I got there my order wasn't even ready yet. Been going there for years, will never go back again..

if i could give them 0 stars i would. ordered two giant super carne asada burritos to go and they had NO MEAT. a ton of rice some beans and a bit of avocado. how do you forget to put meat on a burrito??? i didnt realize this til i was home. i called and spoke to the manager who was useless. i paid cash so at this point i have to drive back 15 minutes just to get my money back. she offered a free drink for the inconvenience aside from having to go pick up new burritos with meat on them..not enough. i explained that the restaurant is not closeby (15 min each way)..i wanted the burritos and my money back. the manager refused and said only option is my money back then. screw the customer i guess lmao. never going to this poorly run restaurant again

So mad today I tried to take my tacos for lunch. We ordered three tacos of lengua and when I come to my office less than 10 minutes it looks disgusting . is so wet. They left all the juice for the beans is disgusting today. I’m so upset. I never back on this place again. My order #109 is tree times happening this place need to listens what the customers want

They’re miserable and I see them working there ALL THE TIME never go on vacation EVER it’s sad. You want validation because of language barrier from other customers is embarrassing. No one even knows your name. And do not expect a tip because you won’t get one tipping started from slavery in America. They don’t do that in Europe and do not fight customers that make way more than you. That’s disrespectful. And yes I’ve been 21 for ten years!!! Thank you so much for treating me like a child that paid property taxes this year and homeowners insurance dropped cause of Gavin newsom. Thank you so much!!!

Horrible place to eat real Mexican food. Don’t recommend!!! I ordered one super burrito and one Veggie burrito to go. Only to reach home and realized I had a tortilla filled with flavorless beans and chunks of unseasoned chicken. Horrible horrible experience. I had to throw it in the garbage. Then I opened the veggie burrito only to realize that it only had flavorless beans and tortilla. Why are you people so wicked. If you don’t want to serve people well, just stop selling. You guys ruined my Friday night. I got off work and had a bad day. I said let me have some delicious Mexican food, only to spend the whole night hungry cause of your miserable food that you served me. And this is not the first time it happened. It’s like the third time. The first and second time, I let it slide cause I thought it was an isolated case, but I came to discover it’s just a habit. You make people’s lives hard already by only accepting cash, as if that wasn’t enough, you serve them garbage. I wish someone shuts you guys down. I am so surprised how you ended up with so many five stars. Horrible place to eat.
