Super flavorful and not too oily! Ordered a beef pad see eew and drunken noodles and was delighted but how filling, flavorful and tasty our meal was! Couldn’t believe it was only 16.95 for the dishes! For restaurant week we even got a free Thai iced tea with out meal.

Had a nice dine in dinner on a Wednesday! This is a nice, cozy spot that looks to be your typical family owned establishment. Our service was amazing, the food was delicious, hot and plated beautifully and overall left a great impression! Thai food can be iffy but this place knows what they’re doing. I definitely suggest the fried banana at the end!

The food is very nicely prepared and super tasty! They also have multiple vegetarian options! And even the option to customize is available. Some of the items contain in menu but it can be removed on request. The pricing of the item is also decent, although rice is not included in the item. Something to think about but I still found them to be quite good compared to alternative options. The staff is also very courteous and warm! They serve promptly, greet you with a smile and their serving time was almost instant. Would definitely recommend this!!

Chief special Salmon curry, the curry was delicious but the salmon was little bit dry. Tom yum soup was refreshing and good. The pineapple fried rice was also unique and very tasty! Out door sitting was perfect, dog friendly! Came back for pineapple fried rice, it was as awesome!

Absolutely delicious Thai food with top-notch service. This is a nice spot right at the end of Murphy St with both outdoor and indoor seating. I got the pad Thai tofu while a friend got the pineapple fried rice. I loved how many vegetarian options there were and the ability to customize. We both found the food appetizing, sumptuous, and the right amount of flavors and spice. We certainly got our money's worth and will look to come more often.

We came here on a weekday around 8pm and it was one of the restaurants still open. We ordered a small Tom yum soup with tofu, a beef green curry, and a chicken pad Thai. The food was tastier than expected and a good price compared to other Thai restaurants nearby. Tom yum soup is slightly more sour than average and a great appetite opener- includes lots of veggies. The green curry was my favorite as the flavor was perfect- spicy, salty, sweet balance, maybe would be even better if it were a bit thicker. The pad Thai was nice and moist, but I prefer if it were a bit less sweet. Portions are a decent size, not too big or small.

One of the Best Thai Dine in destinations in Sunnyvale, sply when you are near by Murphy's Avenue Sunnyvale downtown. The staffs are very friendly. Food are very tasty. We tried Tom Yum chicken soup, Monterey catch, Drunken noodles. This place generally don't need prior reservations but better to keep some buffer time in hand. Free parking available opposite to Sunnyvale station and other end of Murphy's Avenue. Getting a free parking should not be an issue.

We ordered pad see ew with chicken and vegetarian version with tofu. One mild and one spicy. We also ordered fried chicken from JFC which is made in the same kitchen for next door. All the dishes were outstanding.

Another Silicon Valley legend. I lived down the street more than 25 years ago and frequented Thai Basil. Back then you could get a main dish, bowl of rice, and a Thai coffee for a yuppie food coupon ($20). Everything on the menu was amazing, but especially the dishes named "Basil". I live 1000+ miles away now, but I dropped in last night. The restaurant is larger and the menu and setting is more refined now, but I had the medium (hot) Basil Chicken, and it was as good as I remember. I almost cried over it again, but after ten years in Texas I've learned to take the heat. My group shared five different dishes and a few appetizers, and while the Basil dishes are what you need to clear you sinuses, the other (all mild) dishes just reminded us that you really can't go wrong here.

Jua & Mao treat us like family. Been going here for way over a decade. The food is outstanding! We love the basil beef, pad thai, tom yum soup, red curry chicken and the mango sticky rice. Can’t beat the great price, too!!

I'm Thai, and I think this restaurant is underrated. This place has one of the best pad kee mow (drunken noodle) and papaya salad in the south bay area! And they can really make them very spicy per request.

One of the best Thai places I have been to in South Bay. Staff is very kind and friendly. We tried drunken noodles and yellow curry, both were amazing. This place also has a bar counter, has a very good ambience and outdoor seating as well. If you like Thai food then this is a much visit place.

Ordered 2 shrimp pad thais. We wanted chicken so added to the order & paid extra for both the orders which we were charged for. There was no chicken so when I called and explained to someone by the name Sonia she was not fully convinced. She asked me how much did we pay for the 2 chicken I said $2.08 so comes out to be $4.16 so she said she will pay me 4 or can deduct from my next order. In the shrimp pad thai on their menu it said clearly that it comes with 6 shrimps per order but mine had 2. So when I called her back again she started saying we do not know how much noodle we give to customers when the inquiry was about the # of shrimps missing in my order which was supposed to be 6. Then she said that since they had to make 2 orders of shrimp padthai together my shrimps must have gone into another order as if that is my problem or I had asked them to cook both the orders at the same time. Then she said it is only 4 shrimps per order to which I said that I was looking at their menu where it clarly stated that is is 6 shrimps per order. She then said that her "in store menu" was different than that online. She kept on arguing, lying without taking any responsibility. One excuse after the other- when I told her that I will report this to Doordash as we ordered from there she said "do whatever you like" and then hung up. Horrible customer service and terrible food. Never ordering from here again especially when there are so many great Thai restaurants with great customer service & tasty food in the Bay area.
