Cerios is hands down one of the best establisments in Syracuse. The atmosphere and crowd are welcoming, friendly and down to earth. The owner is a great person who also works quite a few of the day shifts behind the bar. It became a regular spot of mine that I have happily spent my afternoons and evenings time and time again after my first few initial visits. All of the bartenders save for one specific (short) individual that other reviews mention are very attentive and will easily recognize you and treat you with respect and make you feel like you are a regular patron who has visited before. You will not find a better bar on the Northside.

Great neighborhood bar. They reopened. Went there the first week, it was fine. Went there the second week, no one was wearing a mask. Will not go back until they are required to wear them.

Cerio's is perhaps one of the friendliest bars I've been in for decades (I'm old - 65) and I've been in hundreds in my life. You get around a bit and you learn. The owner and his wife (Tony and Angela) are very nice people - as are all of the employees. I've been stopping by there for over five years and have yet to see anything more violent than a fairly loud discussion. If you like playing pool, listening to music and just shooting the breeze with someone - even if you've never met, then Cerio's is a really great place.

The Bartender on Friday, Saturday Nights has a Problem with other Attractive Women, also drinks on the Job... Bad for Business! Sad😔

This place has been around for years and it's typically a local neighborhood bar. I don't recall ever seeing any live music except for maybe one time I saw a guy with a guitar and amplifier. Sometimes they set out food that is made by the owner and his wife. It's definitely very good. Overall it's a local place where a lot of the patrons seemed to be personal friends and old classmates of the owner. If you like a dark quiet place where you can kind of be left alone during the day and early evening this is the place to go. They've been having darts and Pitch tournaments there for a long time and they're always pretty nice. The staff is definitely nice. You get a mix of people here some are nice some not so nice. But I've never witnessed any violence or any ridiculous crime Happening Here. The burgers and wings are very good. Typically the owner will set out some appetizers or snacks onto the bar for the patrons. It's an decent place!

I would have rated 0 star, if I could. Bunch of racist old white ignorant people comes here, I assumed. Bartender was ok. Worst people, I have ever encounter. Or maybe, it was the wrong day and time . But it was hell.

Bar tender was horrible i went inside asked for a drink the bar tender which is a female gave me a drink and then told me i should of asked for a smaller glass i then responded n said well your the bar tender u should of suggested a smaller glass then she gets smart n tell me i had to leave worst bar tender i ever ran across i will never go back i thought a bar tender make suggestions and is kind u will always loose out on money as long as she is your bar tender worst ever no customer skills at all nasty attitude didnt want to give not even one star

Horrible place to go got told to leave just because we walked in and I guess didn’t look like we were from around there, how are you about to tell someone to leave who just tried to walk in then follow them out and try starting problems go to change of pace across the street for a better time

Ive been here before and dealt with mike which was an amazing gentlemen but this time i tried to come in the Older short woman was very ignorant and rude right off the bat, expects me to remember/asked me for the zip code on a 5 year old id thats clearly not fake which she would have known if she wasnt a racist pos and actually took a look at it, but instead didnt and when i could not remember my zip from HALF A DECADE AGO booted me. Honestly pathetic. Wont be coming back any day but Tuesday when mike works due to the plain ignorance of the worker i dealt with tonight. If you arent local to syracuse dont bother with this place any day but tuesday as youll be pushed out black or white. Explains why you always have two customers max.
