First of all, I have never felt so welcomed! Their customer service is top tier! I started this review before even trying my steak and onion bagel which was BANGING! Highly recommend!

Tiffany with Offline - I stopped by Girl and a Grill on Saturday, 5/31/25, for breakfast—and it was such a great experience! I had the fish and grits with a fresh orange juice, and everything was delicious. The vibes were amazing, and the energy from the owner truly made the visit special. You can tell she puts her heart into the food and the atmosphere. One of the best parts? We even got to choose a free snack—such a thoughtful touch! I’ll definitely be back. If you’re in Tampa and want some good food and good vibes, this is the spot!

It’s a small place and parking was available. April is welcoming, friendly and makes you feel like your family. The food came out fresh, hot and delicious. I had the Fruity Pebbles Kandy Kool Aid Slushie drink and it was the best slushie I’ve had so far. Thank you and I’m definitely coming back!!

My wife kept seeing this pop up on her timeline on TikTok and decided this morning was the day we were going to try it. The customer service from the entire staff was amazing. Right from the start of us walking in until us leaving the location. The cashier was very nice and patient when we were ordering. The food was amazing and the Kandy Kool-Laids were really good!! This will be one our new go to spots! S/O to Girl & A Girl!!!

The fried grouper tasted so good and the free snack was much appreciated ❤️ The owner is a sweetheart and it’s obvious she loves what she’s does and her community. Thanks for being you Queen! If you’re local or just visiting it worth a stop!

The food was hot fresh it was tasty. The owner is a delightful person. I ordered the two egg special. It included nice fluffy eggs and cheese four turkey sausage. The mini pancakes fluffy and fresh. The side of shrimp was deep fried and a hint of spicy. I highly recommend this place.

Loved the energy here! The lady working the grill was so positive and welcoming she called me and my boyfriend “queen” and “king,” which instantly made us smile. You can tell she really loves what she does. The food was fire, full of flavor, and made fresh. It’s mainly takeout with limited seating outside, but the vibe and food make it worth it. Definitely coming back!

This place is Awesome, the service fast, food is fire & vibes are off the charts. 10/10. Even tho it's not a typical brick & mortar restaurant. The owner is phenomenal, very involved and LOVES her customers. It's obvious she's doing something right. The line was non-stop out the door. Great place to hang & have breakfast with your peeps! Connor with Offline - Girl and a Grill is truly a one-of-a-kind breakfast spot! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with high energy and a warm welcome that sets the tone for the whole experience. I tried the steak, egg, and cheese bagel, and it was unbelievably good — easily one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had. The ladies running the place are incredible and so much fun, and the unique décor makes the whole vibe even better. I’ll absolutely be back to try more items on the menu, though the steak, egg, and cheese bagel will be tough to beat!

This cute hole in the wall spot is all the hype. I seen this spot on TikTok and decided to try one Saturday morning. TikTok was not wrong. The steak and egg bagel sandwich is perfection!! Also had pancakes, grits, eggs and sausage which were good. The decor is fun and the staff is friendly! I plan to go back very soon.

Though it was a small "hole in the wall" as said the energy of the ladies in there made the vibe big. The queen at the register preaching positivity. The owner looking back and acknowledging her patrons and just jamming. My first time there to pick up but there definitely will be others. I got both the fish and shrimp platters and split it 😋 I will definitely be back to try other things. EDIT: so my wife's is on Dialysis and the days after her appetite is insane. Guess fresh blood will do that to some. Though this isn't ideal food for her to be eating its IDEAL for her SOUL and I am all about that. The fish and the shrimp batter was delicious. The amount of CHEESE was delicious and only someone in touch with there ancestors can make grits that creamy. HATS off to the ladies. The one at the register who noticed me as a newcomer loved her vibe, loved her smile, loved her energy. See yall next week ladies!! Rosa

Delight on first whiff! On first bite, just as tasty! This novelty breakfast joint is real and great to see in the community. We even got to witness the owner pull up like a G and invite us in for a snack. I would recommend “The G.A.G” for a big breakfast. The meatless croissant sandwich is nice size and would recommend honey as a complement. I would visit this spot again.

April and the team were awesome! 👌🏾 I had the pleasure of going on Valentine's Day, but the atmosphere of love built there is clearly a year-round affair. Everything was hot, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. There are not enough breakfast spots doing it well, but Girl and A Grill is filling in the gap!

The batter was slightly sweet, but it was definitely missing seasoning. I don’t know if this is intentional, but it could Definitely use some type of seasoning. The grits were pretty good definitely hot so be careful. It had loads of butter, but just as the grouper was lacking seasoning the grits were lacking seasoning also. I understand that they may not want to season their food, but they should at least consider sodium free seasoning. If they gave you the option to add seasoning, I think I would rate the grouper a 4.5 out of 5, but without seasoning the best that I would rate, it is a low 3. Bring your Lowry’s seasoning with you.
