⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Haiku in Tampa is such a vibe! We stopped in for drinks and a few bites and everything was amazing. The cocktails were crafted perfectly, the octopus was cooked just right, and the sushi was fresh and flavorful. The atmosphere is trendy yet welcoming, and it’s definitely a spot I’d come back to for both a night out with friends or a nice dinner. Highly recommend if you’re in Tampa!
Delicious from start to finish. The place is so cute and everything was delicious and we'll portioned. If highly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to try it for lunch
The ambiance, the server, and the attentiveness to the customer were outstanding. Food was absolutely delicious. The Octopus appetizer was melt in your mouth. The sushi boat was delicious soooo fresh!!!
Haiku is the moment—and Sebastian made it magic. We sat at the bar expecting a good time, but what we got was an experience. From the jump, Sebastian served up five-star energy—attentive without hovering, effortlessly cool, and refreshingly honest with his recommendations (every one of them hit). We started with the wood-fired octopus (smoky perfection), the Tuna-Salmon Duo Tartare (fresh enough to make you emotional), and the tempura lobster roll that honestly could've dropped the mic right there. But we kept going—and thank God we did. For mains, the wagyu sticky short ribs were fall-off-the-bone rich and decadent, and the miso-glazed seabass was buttery, flaky, and delicate in all the right ways. And the drinks? Let’s just say we lost count—but every single one was a winner. Balanced, bold, and made with care. But the real star? Sebastian. He’s not just a bartender—he’s the conductor of Haiku’s symphony. Every sip, every plate, every moment was elevated by his presence. He’s the whipped cream and cherry on top of an already perfect night. If you're looking for a place that delivers flavor, vibe, and service like it's an art form—Haiku is it. 10/10, no notes. Just go.
I’ve been to this restaurant multiple times for both brunch and dinner, and it never disappoints. The sushi is always fresh and flavorful, and the desserts are a perfect way to end the meal. The overall food quality is excellent, with a well balanced menu that offers something for everyone. The service has consistently been attentive and friendly, making each visit enjoyable. Whether dining indoors or outdoors, the ambiance adds to the experience, making it a great spot for a casual meal or a special occasion. Looking forward to coming back again!
To start off, we could smell the amazing food from down the street on our walk to the restaurant. We were greeted immediately by a hostess who was very polite, but per usual we sat up at the bar. We had multiple Appetizers and Rolls along with some primary dishes. I can honestly say everything was fresh and very very good. We were excited to see they had a unique Sunday Brunch that we will try very very soon. Atmosphere is awesome, they have table shareable drink options which was very cool for parties of 4 or more. I would absolutely recommend Haiku Tampa!
Beautiful restaurant with food and drinks to match. The presentation of the meals was fantastic and the food was delicious. We will be coming back here again. The ronin is my favorite cocktail here so far, but everything I have tried so far is good. The lobster sushi rolls are outstanding and we recently just went to the drag brunch and it was a blast. The crab cake biscuit and chocolate and strawberry waffles were standouts, as was the bottomless mimosas.
Five-star ramen. Mesmerizing interior. We ordered off of the happy hour menu (4-6pm) enjoying the shishito peppers, dumplings, tempura shrimp and sushi roll-of-the-day. For my non-meat eaters, the curry is vegan and delicious. Matthew is the best server! Wish we saved room for dessert because a chocolate dome of some sort caught our eyes :) Will be back!
The restaurant is decorated beautifully. The service was good and so was the food. We had the steamed dumplings, crab cake, crispy chicken fried rice, short ribs with mash potatoes and broccoli and the wagyu streak. Everything was delicious and nicely plated. The crab cake has great flavor. It's prepared different than I've ever had. The only thing we'd change is ask them to fry it harder or cook it longer. The chocolate desert is very rich and so delicious 😋
First time coming here was when I took my boyfriend for his birthday and we absolutely LOVED IT. He has to eat gluten free and I chose this place for him because they cater to those with allergies. 10/10 loved the service and presentation from the food to the vibe! They play great music too. Very clean and we definitely wanted to come back and bring our family here. The 2nd time, we just came back and wanted to celebrate something special for Mother’s Day. We brought his parents here for the experience and they were so surprised and LOVED IT as much as we do. We ordered so much food, and we had the best waiter, Mike, also known as Michael D. Such great service, very personable, attentive, and got every order right. Btw, not just my boyfriend is gluten free, also his mom too and she enjoyed every bite! Overall, thank you for the back to back great service, food, and being Haiku. We appreciate everything that you offer and do. We are so happy to have a unique restaurant here in the Tampa Bay. We’ll definitely be back :D PS OMG I thought we have pics of the shrimp and pork belly fried rice but we ate it first LOL that was delicious too :)
Haiku is a fun little restaurant. Fairly busy on a Saturday night. I suspect if you want to eat indoors, you have to make a reservation pretty early on. We sat outside, which was not bad considering the temperature and they had patio heaters running. Outdoor seating was a little uncomfortable. Sort of those chairs that make you want to eat and leave quickly so that they can put new paying customers in your seats. Food was amazing. My chicken udan noodles were an excellent meal filled with all of the goods. The American Wagyu beef is an excellent meal choice for someone with a stapled stomach or otherwise able to only eat a small amount yet exceptional in flavor. I also had a seaweed salad which was a little different but still delightful. I don't think it is all seaweed if that concerns you. It is just one ingredient mixed in with the other greens. It was fun sitting on the outdoor patio area watching cars and people go by. Tampa is not as exciting as some other cities, but maybe it is getting there slowly. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Parking in the area runs about $10, so factor that in to your meal. I would definitely come again if I was in the neighborhood.
My girl Iliana is an amazing server and the food is as delicious as the restaurant is beautiful. Great presentation and the ramen is my favorite! The pork bao buns to die for!!!

Really cool atmosphere! Our waiter was very kind and the food was great! Perfect for an upscale night out!
Haiku in Tampa is an absolute gem! From the moment we were seated, Burke provided impeccable service—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm. The food was nothing short of extraordinary: the Japanese Wagyu melted in your mouth, the lobster roll was fresh and decadent, the octopus perfectly cooked, and the chocolate dessert was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The atmosphere adds to the magic, with beautiful cherry blossom-inspired decor that makes dining here feel special and serene. Every detail, from service to flavors to ambiance, is top-notch. Highly recommend!

Came here for a friends birthday to checkout their drag brunch this past Sunday. The visit didn't start great... Sat outside which was fine as it was a beautiful day but we didn't even receive water to the table until about 20 minutes sitting there and had to ask for a server. Lots of waiting happened, drinks... apps... etc. Ordered the dumplings (fried), spicy edamame and the breakfast bao. All very good. Eventually the manager came over to us and explained that there was a no show inside if we wanted... naturally we did not hesitate... full redemption! The seats were great, mimosas were flowing and our meal was great. My friend had a blast for her bday celebration and that's what mattered the most.
Place was packed for sure service was a little slow and confused It’s a little too dark for my liking. Food was good. Octopus was really good shrimp app was good my pork belly was cold but the fried rice was definitely a good dish sushi was good as well. I would give them another try for sure to try a few more things for a better review.

The dishes were subpar compared to the prices. The Grilled Octopus was by far tje winner of the night! The amount they give, the flavor and the price were all amazing! The Tonkatsu Ramen was the second place winner. After sprucing it up with some lemon and chili oil, it was divine. Now, the not so great dishes. The Tuna Nigiri was terrible. They didnt even have sushi rice, it was on top of plain white rice. The Dragon Roll was underwhelming. Nothing special about that roll, nothing that screamed order me again. The dessert was decent, but nothing crazy. Being charged $24 for one drink is insane, the martinis were not good for the price. Our server was very nice, he was just slow. Overall, I think the restaurant is decent, but not decently priced.
I tried a few dishes at HAIKU and the Grilled Octopus was the clear winner for me. It was tender, flavorful, and paired well with the fresh slaw and dipping sauce. The sushi rolls, however, were underwhelming. Both the Spicy Yellowfin Tuna Roll and the Volcano Roll were fresh but fairly average. Nothing about them really stood out in terms of flavor or presentation.
We were greeted personally since was for a birthday and had a reservation. The atmosphere is very nice. They had an happy hour menu which was nice. The lychee martinis were very good. We ordered bao buns and fried dumplings, both were very good. We then ordered our meals, the food for each of us came out at different times. The torched ahi tuna was average, very skimpy on the wasabi and pickled ginger. The ramen was very good, the short ribs were bland and missing flavor. I expected much more. I will not be going back or recommending this restaurant to friends and family.
Went to celebrate a birthday with a group of 11 people over the weekend. It’s a nice place, good lighting, chill music, and nice outdoor space. The food presentation was nice but the food was just ok and a bit over priced. We mentioned in the reservation that it was a birthday but our waitress didn’t ask or offered a birthday treat. Each of our bills were close to $200 so it was about $800 table in total. Not once did anyone ask us how the food was or if we needed anything else. I would most likely not return here again.

Terrible from start to finish. Waited 25 minutes at hostess stand without anyone coming to help. Ended up seating myself and waiting another 15 minutes for a waitress to help. Food is terrible - they even forgot the egg as a part of my ramen and brought me a frozen egg when I mentioned the missing item which was disgusting. Octopus is so tough and chewy. Terribly cooked from frozen. Mango sticky rice is absolutely horrendous. Nothing like what you expect. Temperature is terrible - they don’t use A/C so it’s incredibly hot and humid in restaurant. Avoid this place at all costs.
