Best tostones in town. I forget to take a picture because they are so good I scarf them down. Very quick and clean. Staff treat you like family. Highly recommended!

Great authentic and tasteful Puertorican food! Mofongo, carne frita, churrasco, tripleta, etc, you can find it all here. They even do frappes! See myself coming here a bunch of times with my family.

I stumbled on this gem so time ago, and every time I come back, the food tastes just as amazing as the first time. I’d pick this spot over a big chain any day—no long waits, and the food usually comes out in about 20 minutes. Definitely worth supporting our local small businesses!

An absolute New Yorican vibe, and that's coming from a true New Yorker (Alphabet City) Lower East Side was in the building, and felt at home. Great food and atmosphere! The music with that 116th Street Spanish Harlem, Bushwick/Knickerbocker feel. The only thing missing was the Coco Rico. 5 stars for sure, see you guys again soon.

Amazing food, amazing atmosphere each and every time! The flavor, the portions, everything is amazing. Even my kids (who are very picky eaters) ask for Tito’s all the time. Definitely, 100% recommend!

Had some of the best pinchos we have tried so far. Platanos maduros were also tasty. Very stylish and laid back. Will definitely be coming back to try other dishes.

We had lunch here today the service, food and atmosphere was on point. The food was delicious. I had the pernil with arroz con gandules and it was amazing along with their coconut flan!

Went May 23rd, late around 1020pm, had the WORST craving for alcapurria. Got a beef and a crab, both very delicious! The girls were great, very professional and sweet. Will be back to try more, just moved down the street and this was my first time here. I didn’t get to take any pictures before engulfing the food, sorry! Facility was well kept, very clean, very nice NY themed decor.

Was driving past the place and decided to give it a try. This place is a hidden gem! Excellent food, good service. But what really surprised me...were the frappes! Go there and get one of their shakes today! They are ridiculous! One of the best things I've had in a long time. This place should never be empty.

Food was so good! Great service! The quality and taste was amazing! I was very impressed by the mofongo! Price is decent as well! I’ve been to Puerto Rico twice and I felt like I was on the Island eating and that says a lot! I took some pictures but I already dug in before eating so here it is…lol They also have it decorated inside for St.Patrick’s day which was a nice touch. A lady came out that I think was the cook and greeted us and told us she was glad we were there! We will be back and bought more food to take to my mother in law!

My sister found this place on Google as we were trying to figure out what to eat after going to the Bucs game. They had us at mofongo. The food was so good. I got charrasco and my sister got fried pork with our mofongo. I started with an empanada. The flavor was amazing but since it was fried from frozen there were areas where the meat was cold but it didn't make me stop eating it since it was so flavorful. We definitely will return.

Found this little gem off Waters Ave, family lunch. We tried the grilled chicken, rice with beans, beef, shrimp, plantains and of course mofongo. All very good! Mofongo was just right, not greasy, very tasty. Grilled shrimp and chicken excellent. Beef was flavorful, not tender though. Good size portions, neat little pots kept food warm. Our server Orlania (forgive my spelling) was attentive and friendly. Reasonable prices. Small, clean space.

I’m from New York and I’ve been searching endlessly for a place that has real authentic Puerto Rican food and today’s the day I found that place. My fiancé and I LOVED the mofongo! The food was delicious and I felt at home in this place. Mi GENTEEE 👏🏼🇵🇷❤️

First time dinning in at this restaurant. We were welcomed like we were family for starters. The smell that hits you in the face just made us want everything on the menu. The pork aka pernil was so flavorful and juicy, the shrimp aka camarón was nice and garlicky. I could go on and on about all of our food but what really had us feeling like home was the atmosphere of NYC in the air. Thank you for welcoming us. After getting of the plane and needing some good music and a few laughs. We got just that. Our experience was amazing and we will be hitting this place up on our way back home! God bless Tito and Christal thank you again

Great menu and food options, and the restaurant hours. We love Mofongo with Fried Chicken, Crab Alcapurias, and the Churrasco Sandwich. Customer service was awesome. We are happy that we found this place all the way from Virginia. I totally recommend this restaurant.

My family and I ❤️ eating at Tito's kitchen My family And I was at Busch garden. For the weekend. We looked up some puerto rican restaurant. Is tito's kitchen was the nearest one It was the best decision that we made. His food. Test it like we were on the island again. The service was fabulous. I do not know if the owner or the chef came out to greet us. The photos in the bathroom and on the wall brought me back. To my earlier days love that love the atmosphere thank you. It was a awesome experience for me and my family

La comida deliciosa, los frappes son deliciosas! UPDATE 12/01/24: I have to say that the food continues to be amazing! We ordered carne frota with tostones, chicharron de pollo with tostones y platano maduro frito. Food was hot, fresh, and seasoning on point. My ONLY complaint is the frappes. There had been a huge negative change since last time I was here 3 years ago. I ordered oreo and my husband ordered the cheesecake one and it was very disappointed, mine was like milk with chocolate, a little bit of whip cream and 2 oreos maybe, the cheesecake one I can even explain how bad it was. Please REMOVE the frappe pictures of the wall because that is FALSE ADVERTISING. This time, I will give you 7 out 0f 10

Went with a friend for lunch and ordered chicken rinds, fried pork, mofongo and arroz con habichuelas (rice and red beans). The food was excellent. The meat was well seasoned and fried to perfection. The mofongo was soft and tasty. The best spanish food I have had in a long time after going to multiple spanish restaurants. We highly recommend Tito' s and we will definitely be back to enjoy other plates. I normally don't do reviews but for this place I had.

This was a lovely little corner restaurant with delicious, authentic flavors. The owner was very welcoming, as was the staff. We ordered the fried pork with fried plantains, which was absolutely delicious—especially with the chimichurri sauce on top. The mofongo was also full of flavor. Prices are reasonable, and I highly recommend this place if you’re nearby!

The food is incredible! The spot is very low key so you wouldn’t expect it but it’s amazing, love the atmosphere too. It feels like I traveled to NYC for a little bit when I eat here. The prices are also very reasonable and the service is friendly. Definitely my go to spot when I’m in the area

I only grabbed empanadas because the menu was in Spanish, and I didn't understand, but I'm pretty sure I should've got some beans and rice because they seem to get it here. The meat was cooked well, but I do wish the beef empanadas were stuffed like the Pollo empanadas because the flavor was excellent.

I really like the skirt steak that was my favorite with the rice and beans. However, I think the plantains are really expensive. Especially the sweet plantains you get four slices for $3. That's really expensive in my opinion. The staff were really friendly.

Tito's Latin Kitchen in Tampa gave me New York City vibes right away; bold, urban, and lively. The food was decent, though not the best I've had. The beef was dry and overdone. The pork chops were okay, but also overdone and lacked juiciness. The arroz con gondules was lackluster. The menu has a lot of promise and the atmosphere is fun, but for the price I expected more on the meat quality. If you're curious for Latin American flavor in a stylish spot, it's worth checking out. Service was average and nothing special.

Our experience was great. Mofongo, skirt steak platter were super yummy. Rice and beans with fried pork was good too. In our opinion the skirt steak was a little chewy but flavorful and the beans lacked seasoning but overall it was a great authentic Puerto Rican meal in the Tampa area. I’d definitely visit again if in town 🥰 Such a charming place with dope wall art highlighting PR and NY 💪🏼

I had ordered a bit two months ago and the food was really good, cooked to perfection. This time around I ordered pinchos, alcapurrias and the mofongo. I'm sorry to say it was all overcooked 😕 the mofongo was very dry, la carne on the pinchos were very overcooked could not swallow it and the alcapurrias were burnt. Was disappointed this time around. I'm not trying to put any new business down but hope they can give the feedback to the cook and he can make things better.

I got the skirt steak plate and chinola juice (aka parcha aka maracuya). The skirt steak was severely overcooked and a bit expensive. Next time I order I will definitely specify to cook medium temp. I'm giving them 3 stars for flavor and great customer service. I plan to go back and try other menu items and hopefully increase my rating.

The mayo ketchup isn’t enough , everytime I come here for this same plate , they always change the habichuelas to a different container always smaller then the last or if not then it don’t got enough beans just alot of juice . TITOS WAS BETTER THAN THIS !!

I just ordered food for pick up and two drinks of Tamarindo. I went back inside because I wasn’t happy with my drinks and the taste of it so I asked to exchange it and I was told no that is not world class. I’m a little disappointed because the food is great however that’s not great customer service That there is and regulations and policies to business, but unfortunately, that was disappointing, I even tipped, I also tipped for service before tasting my drink. No offer for refund nothing terrible service I only wanted to exchange my drink with plans of being a consistent customer, didn’t drink much at all just enough to taste it.

A 3rd visit and another drop in ratings. The food is ok, we had a much better experience our 1st visit but what we have had since is just not the same. Food is bland and there is just no chicken in the Chicharron de Pollo, all bone, twice now. Time to give up on this place. A 2nd visit exposed some small inconsistencies, the mofongo was dry and less flavorful, my chicharron was mostly bone with little chicken and the beans were not as good as before. Sometimes, that's the way it goes. I was drawn to Tito's by social media. With my nephew the dentist in tow, we decided to try a new Puerto Rican place he found on line. He's been living/working in Ocala and misses the food from home. So, food to go for 3, him and I and the wife. Everything we ordered was very authentic and delicious. All 3 of us, agreeing as we ate how good the food was and how authentic it tasted. We had tostones, mofongo, carne frita, chicharon de pollo, arroz y habichuelas. All of it was very good. The star of the show was my wife's Mofongo. A ball of fried green plantain that has garlic, spices and sometimes caldo, mashed with a wooden mortar and pestle. It was moist, savory and flavorful we all tried it. Sooo, Tito can cook! The place was clean, looked fairly new, had Nuyorican decor and was located on Waters Ave. a few blocks east of Armenia. Parking in front, part of a strip center, small and cozy. There was a nice young lady to take our order and bag it to go. The menu was brief but hit a lot of the typical dishes and treats you would encounter back in PR. I will mention to people unfamiliar with Cuban and P. Rican food, that a lot of it is fried and they tend to over fry foods to an extent, it's a cultural thing, it's just their way. So when you order fried pork chunks, fried chicken chunks or fried pork chops, you can expect it to be well fried and dark. Which as a cook I stop short of that when I prepare food to leave more moisture and juiciness.

Really wanted to like this place. We tried to go despite the reviews, but my moms jibarito wasn’t fully cooked and mofongo was dry. But the chuleta was crispy, and the Jugo de parcha was good too! The pernil had flavor I’ll give you that! ! But For as much as we paid we expected it to be better. My recommendation to anyone trying Tito’s is get the chuletas with a side of rice, you will enjoy that 100%! I hope you guys grow and the reviews get better so we can give it a second shot. I’m giving this place a 3, and hope it changes in the future. The gentleman was super nice to us as well.

I order a mofongo and carne frita and I must admit it was not that good. The mofongo has a green sauce over it that it is too much/over powering in taste. It can actually do without it. It was also smashed too much to the point that it felt like smash potatoes. The rice was great and the carne frita was no bad either.

J
J V

I ordered two mofongo one with carne frita and the other one with chicharrón and the mofongo did not have any flavor and had big pieces of platano and the meat was overcooked. I didn't like the salad either, it was very soft and didn't look fresh. It seems that the plantain and the meat were fried in old oil. Sorry for me it was not good.

The alcapurria we over priced at $5 a piece and were monga because of adding potatoes to the masa and if your Puerto Rican you’d know what I mean. The carnitas was ok, but the tostones were not.

Service was not good at all. The waitress served me fries I asked for ketchup she simply said no ketchup as if eat it or don’t. Meat was dry. Tostones were the frozen ones not made to serve. Never again Worst Spanish spot

I try not to give restaurants bad reviews, because everyone deserves the benefit of the doubt, but we ordered 4 orders, and they all had something wrong with them, it was the worst Spanish food I've had, burnt meat and they delivered like that smh, and the monfogo was bland just mashed Plantains, no garlic, no Chicharróns, it was horrible and they served burnt FROZEN tostones, I can't believe they sent that food out for delivery, unreal have pride in the food you serve its your customers, mind its was $80 and they forgot an item.

The Owner was very friendly and hospitable. But, As you’re walking up to the place it looks dirty and worn down. I hesitated to walk in. Inside was glooming with a run down food display (no light). The food was awful! Will not be going back. Hopefully you’ll power wash the outside.and Inside too.
