Very good food, loved the rice and I was able to reserve my spot online before I got there.
Great place and vibe. Food and service is outstanding. A must visit when in Tarzana.
This establishment has been recommended to me and my wife a number of times. Finally took the opportunity and it absolutely lived up to the praise. Decor... Imagine an abuela's kitchen and pantry, but a 1000+ square feet in size. This is to say that it is a delightful space that draws you in and puts you instantly at ease and excited for what you came for: The food. It does NOT disappoint. Simple, honest, hot, delicious and plenty of it. Great service. Great food. Great atmosphere. Glad to add this to my list of regular spots.
Not sure why I don't come here more often! Came with a friend the other day, he had the Chili Verde and I had the Flauta plate. Either is was really hungry or the bite I stole off his plate was delicious. He's a home chef so he's picky and he thought it was excellent. My Flauta dish was excellent. I use the restaurant's beans and rice to determine how good their food is!! The main dish plays a part too, but if their rice and beans suck then how can they make anything good? Their pinto beans and the rice were very good. I'll be bringing my GF here most definitely!! The interior kinda reminds of restaurants in Mexico with the plants and knick knacks
This restaurant has some amazing authentic Mexican food and the staff is attentive and friendly. The time to prepare is pretty quick and the ambience is wonderful (I especially love the wall with the mural of famous Mexican figures). A few sore points, but they aren't the restaurant's fault so I won't take a star away from eating over these; parking is a pain, just like everywhere else in this neighborhood, and they're so popular you will ALWAYS have a wait.
Great place to meet friends. Quality Mexican food and the best margaritas. Friendly and helpful staff. Wish they stayed open late and brought back happy hour.
This is a really great Mexican restaurant in the valley. It's always very busy and they don't take reservations, so be prepared to wait for a table, especially during peak times on weekends. Though I would not call this place "upscale" it definitely leans towards the higher end of casual dining. Generous portions and delicious food. The molcajete is my favorite dish, it is absolutely wonderful. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good "L.A. authentic" Mexican meal in a comfortable, fun, low light atmosphere.
Food is great, service was good, the vibe was nice. It was a good place for date night.
We at Body By Starz company staff love love Sol y Luna! we go at least three times a month, they have the best Molcajetes; delicious juicy Beef Steak and tender Chicken strips, Shrimp with all the extras, nopalitos, onions, chiles melted blocks of cheese... Yummm. I cant say enough of Sol y Luna restaurant its the best in the San Fernando Valley for authentic Mexican food.
The food was so bomb! We came here after a flight and waiting to check into our Airbnb so we had our luggage and they were accommodating of that which was great. I got the tableside guac (totally worth it & HUGE) and the enchilada and tamale combo plate. The beef tamale is was amazing and the rice is so good! Some of the best rice I’ve ever had 🙏 The drinks were strong and the shots were generous, I would definitely come back 🔥
Fantastic setting… guacamole dip made at your table was a great touch… ordered the hefty serving of Machaca plate and did not disappoint… the part that stood out was the crew was genuinely checking on our table making sure everything was good… Will visit again, next time we’re in town…
Ive been here so many time and every time its been great! Its my default go-to Mexican place. Definitely get the molcahete (house special), you wont be disappointed!
We sat at the bar, so we didn't have to wait to be seated, which they estimated to be about 45 minutes on a weekday. I never complain about wait times because I think it's usually a testament to how good the food must be. The service was slightly less than average. Maybe I'm spoiled, but I assumed all Mexican restaurants kept your chips and salsa coming. The food came out quickly and was really good. They have the best rice I've ever eaten in my life! The beef tamale was a little dry, and thinking back, I would've added pico to my beef taco, but it was still good as well. The refried beans were just your average refried beans. It was a bit crowded but not uncomfortably so. The restaurant itself is festively decorated with some unexpected items. I love Mexican food, so I l'm sure I'll be back.
We ate here last night, and as always, it was FANTASTIC. What made it even better was Claudia, our server. She was friendly and efficient.
Been coming to this place for years now. Chilli Verde, damn good. And service too. The new side they opened is nice but too bare. Suggest to decorate, get some inspiration from your other side!
I've been wanting to come and visit this restaurant for quite a while now and have the opportunity to do that today. The esthetic of the location and its Mexican authenticity is beautiful. It had an outdoor area and a patio area facing Ventura boulevard and the inside was decorated very beautifully with true Mexican decor the bar was stunning. We had a few cocktails and also enjoyed the Chille Rellenos . Our server Claudia was Sweet and attentive. They also have Vallet parking to the rear of the location for your convenience at no charge. I definitely recommend this restaurant I can't wait to come back and enjoy it again.
Sol Y Luna has been a family go-to for years now, and easily one of my favorite restaurants in the Valley. The tableside Guac here might be some of the best in LA. They bring out a cart in front of your table and prepare it just how you like it. It always tastes fresh, and the warm chips compliments it perfectly. It’s hard to go wrong with any entree here. My personal favorite is the Mole Poblano. The sauce is incredibly dense and flavorful. You can also ask to combine your favorite burrito with the sauce of your choice. I got the Burrito de Pollo Asado topped with mole and it was fantastic! The portions here are large and you’ll likely be taking some to-go. The Restaurant itself is quite clustered. You’ll likely always see a line out the door so make sure you get there right as they open. Keep in kind the parking in the back is valet only, so you may want to try find street parking if you don’t want to pay. Overall I love this place! It will remain a staple for my family and I whenever I come to the Valley.
A bit pricy, but overall good experience, good atmosphere, attentive service. The machaca was great and I definitely recommend it, the portion was decent and filling. However, the burrito was quite small for the 15ish dollars i paid. Maybe don’t get that. Horchata is also great. Would be super if they handmade their tortillas but other than that I enjoyed my lunch. Be aware that parking is limited and the lot behind the restaurant costs 8 dollars 😼
Amazing Mexican restaurant, food is very good and authentic. Servers are prompt, attentive and nice. If you like chicken wings, it is a must order here. The ceviche is good but not the best I have ever had. Portions are large and one entree can be shared between two people especially if you ordered a few small plates.
We were driving by and decided to stop by and oh my! Everything tasted fresh and so delicious! Service was really nice. They have an outside seating area with dividers. Wheelchair accessible. They have clean restrooms ANd the a valet parking. Prices are fair and service was fast.
This place has been on my bookmarked list for awhile and many Yelpers have told me about it so I was excited to go. This is definitely one of the more popular Mexican food spots in the valley hence the long wait times. I put myself on the waitlist from home before driving over when I saw it was a 30 minute wait. When I arrived half an hour later they said it would still be another 20 minutes. I knew it would be busy because it was Friday night dinner. I definitely recommend getting on the waitlist as soon as possible because the people in line behind me were told an hour and a half wait, so do not eat here if you are in a rush. I shared with my girlfriend the shrimp ceviche, nachos, and pork sopes. They are popular for their table side guacamole that you can order as an appetizer for $14. Our waitress Paula was very nice and helped us make some choices for our meal. They have indoor and outdoor dining. No parking lot but they have valet parking behind or you can find metered street parking. Definitely on a busy street so plan to walk a little if you park further away.
Yesterday, I visited a Mexican restaurant in Tarzana, CA, with a friend who lives nearby and has been a frequent visitor. She had always raved about the place, and now I see why. Despite the crowd and the fact they don't take reservations, we opted to sit at the bar to avoid the wait. We tried the Ceviche with white fish, which was fresh and flavorful, and the nachos loaded with cheese and beans. The nachos were absolutely to die for! Parking was convenient, with a plaza nearby and ample street parking. It is a fantastic dining experience overall.
When you want Mexican Food, try Sol y Luna. A local favorite located right off Ventura Blvd. There is Valet parking located in the rear. [$6 dollars]. Covid19 compliant. Clean. Inside, outside patio dining. Takeout. Wear a mask. Socially distanced tables. Handicap accessibility. Love the food here. I brought my neighbor who also loved the food. She ordered the Arroz con Pollo. I ordered the Chile Colorado. Fresh. The meat was fresh and tender. Not overcooked. Huge portions. Good Drinks. Full bar. Known for their margaritas. I was driving so no drinking for me. This place has an A rating. Service is friendly and hospitable. Servers handle a lot of tables.
As a huge fan of Latin food, this is a valley hotspot for authentic flavors. The menu options have never disappointed me. Be prepared for a wait to get a table as this place is always popular at meal times, but it’s worth it.
Well the food was phenomenal! I got a meal that feeds 2 people with steak, chicken and shrimp. Also the ceviche was a 10! I asked waitress to make my Cadillac margaritas strong and they did just that. Will be coming back
Had a very nice dinner without spending too much money. So I was pleased about that. But my server Amy, made my experience all the more better. She is excellent in customer service. Came by my table multiple times just to ask me if everything is okay. She's the best!!!
Sol y luna is my favorite Mexican restaurant. There's always a wait but it's worth it. Besides you can go to the bar for a drink and they'll text you when your table is ready. The food is amazing but the chips and salsa are so addicting I'm full before I cram my dinner down my throat. Great experience. 😅
Is a beautiful place and the atmosphere was very pleasant. We ordered a queso fundido with Chorizo but my God the chorizo was too salty that we had to remove the whole thing it was horrible 😞 the rest of the food was great. The waitress was not attentive she only came twice and we asked for more water but she came until we were finished with our food. Pay attention to your tables and please can someone try the food before goes to the customer. Get another type of chorizo. Not sure if I want to come back…
This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in the valley. Pacos in Culver City is still #1 in LA, El Compadre in Echo Park #2, but Sol y Luna is the next best and never disappoints. You can count on great service by professionals who know their job, incredibly tasty food and drinks that make the grade. I highly recommend it.
Chips and salsa, delicious. Drinks, on point and consistent. Food, I’m looking forward to coming back. There is valet parking, which was helpful. And also the other side is that coin is there is only valet parking. Overall great vibe, good place to with friends, date night, or to celebrate.
For a truly authentic taste of Mexico try Sol y Luna and you will not be disappointed! The service is above and beyond from the time we walked in the door. Make sure you get the table side guacamole it is wonderful. Margaritas are superb, not some cheap tequila. Did I mention the size of the lime slice? Huge. Our table had a selection of menu items drinks through desert. We were throughly happy with our experience, with the exception of walking to the parking lot in the rain. When does it rain in LA? Apparently today.
I am always happy with my order here. They serve large portions and the ambiance is great!

Excellent Mexican cuisine, great Margaritas, and a lively ambiance. happy hour is usually quite crowded, but it's worth the wait. Definitely one of my favorite, for sure.
The food and services are excellent. The best Mexican restaurant in the area. The Margaritas are a must. The Tostada Verde and Plato de Chilli Verde were excellent

Authentic Mexican cuisine, a intimate ambiance with a fun and friendly bar/restaurant setting. Parking is plentiful surrounding the area, and a valet parking lot is in the rear.
Reason for visiting: dinner with my family visiting from out of town Date/time of visit: Monday night, 6:00 PM Parking: street parking and valet; valetbiis probably not free. Street parking is meter parking; ends at 8 PM. We just re-fed the meter ~7:00 PM. $2; takes credit card or pay online or app. I don't get why they think anyone would install an app to pay $2. Party size: 8 Environment/ambience: busy and loud; small bar area inside and outside seating that leads to valet. They offer heaters but outside seating with jacket was good enough; and alcohol 😀 Service: was ok; kinda slow probably because we sat in the back. Their machine or whatever was down so took a while to get the bill; we actually never got it so we walked up to the front to pay and found out the machine was down. Food: was good; had part of the Especialidad de la Casa for 3. The steak, shrimp, and chicken were all good; kept hot/warm throughout with the stone pot. Wrapped within flour tortillas with the hot sauce.. was pretty good. Cost: $575 with tip Would I go back (yes/no): 75/25
The food is authentic and fresh. We had guacamole made fresh in front of us at our table which was supper delicious. I had the shrimp enchilada with rice. This is a great place for family, friends to gather and have great food and drinks. I had a delicious margarita🍹. The mixologist was wonderful at his/her craft at mixing cocktail. My server was pleasant and attentive to our table. The decor in this restaurant will transform you into an outdoor atmosphere but you are inside the restaurant. The hand painted mural is vibrant with color. There is indoor and outside dining available. There is valet parking available. The price per portion of plate is prefect. Recommendation: Get there early or prepare to wait. It gets crowded fast. This a is a favorite Mexican restaurant for the locals in the area.
This place is one of the best homely, slightly Americanized Mexican cuisine in the San Fernando Valley. Surprisingly, this place completely outshines its sister restaurants. Food is always served fresh and drinks somewhat flow from the bar. A very good time with friends and/or romantic enough for a date night. Recommend the Molcajete. It is by far the best thing on the menu. But the menu has other people pleasers also. Their grilled chicken is always juicy and never served dry. They do not take reservations, but accepts phone calls to put your name down. Which is recommended due to there always being a line to dine in. Service isn't the greatest. Could be due to covid staffing issues. I like the upbeat atmosphere of this place but sometimes, it can be a bit much. Not a fan of yelling across the table to keep the conversation going. If you're on a romantic date, I recommend sitting on the same side. Regardless, I'm a repeat customer.
The food is generally good. The carne asada plate can be either very good or terrible. The chile verde is consistent and good, the Chips and salsa are so good. The portions are small, but overall the food is good. The service is very good.
We came here last night to celebrate my wife birthday with her family. We called ahead to make reservations. This restaurant has valet parking in the back or there street parking. We arrived on time and checked in but it still took about fifteen minutes to be seated. It's very compact and feel small inside of this restaurant. Our waitress was Martha and for the most part she was fine. It took three attempts for her to bring me my soda since she kept forgetting. I got the shrimp ceviche, chicken wings and my wife got the chicken mole. Her brother got the carne asada burrito. The food was okay but the service was slow here.
Cheers, Soy y Luna, this was a delicious raspberry margarita. Sat outside in their covered patio, which I prefer as it's a bit less crowded and not as loud as the restaurant. I have been here a number of times with my husband, family, and friends, and keep forgetting to write a review. Finally, here we are late and overdue. First, the fish ceviche is absolutely delicious; I crave it. I have had their potato and beef hard shell tacos, and again, yum. My husband usually orders the burrito, and it takes effort to finish it. The burritos, according to him, are delicious and very filling. Neighborhood spot, nothing fancy, and won't break the budget. The staff is always friendly, and the wait time is never too long, no matter what day or time you dine.
Sol y Luna Great ambiance, good music volume, good service, GOOD HORCHATA! lol. Chile relleno burrito came in: 1. Wet (I didn’t ask wether it was wet or not but it’s ok) 2. Melted Mozzarella on top, good size chile relleno inside, it still had the top stem, pieces of avocado inside and loaded with beans (I got black beans) 3. The server was polite and excellent with his timing checking in 4. Parking is valet only or you can park in the street, parking can be a problem front busy hours 5. Total price without tip $21.68 All in all good experience but the chile relleno still lacked flavor, I’m thinking if they added a little more flavor to the sauce this would be a perfect burrito and visit. Also, they give you delicious chips and salsa. You get a very good amount of chips and you get a red Molcajete salsa and a green one, I enjoyed the red one the most.
Soy Y Luna is still one of the best Mexican restaurants in the San Fernando Valley. It’s been about five to six years since I last ate there. The food is still as delicious as it was back then. The dining area was very well maintained, tables were clean and the servers were all very nice. My food came as ordered, it was hot, fresh and tasted very good.
Alright. I'm giving this place 4 stars but I'm never coming back. Don't get me wrong, the service was pretty good and the employees seem to get along. The food was good/pretty good but it's not worth what they are charging. I ordered the Molcajete for two and the Carnitas plate. I also ordered guacamole which was a little ghetto/tacky when I saw sign asking for tips on just the guacamole service. My margarita was terrible. I tasted cheap tequila. The tortillas are not made fresh there. I feel this place suffers from an identity crisis, the restaurant doesn't know whether or not to be casual or a fancy restaurant. I said I wouldn't be coming back because I could name 3-4 better tasting Mexican restaurants with better matching prices. This industry is competitive.
food is always delicious, but I wish it wasn't so noisy. I also wish they would take reservations.

We were in the mood to eat Mexican food and came across this place. The reviews were great, so we decided to come here knowing that there would be a wait. Arrived close to 6pm on a Friday night and had a 30 mins wait. There's plenty of street parking. The staff was friendly. We tried the ceviche, chile verde and shredded beef burrito. The service was fantastic and the staff very friendly. The food was good but not great. Not sure if I would come back.
Steak plate. Let me be very clear for my rating. I am Hispanic. Beans and rice is in my DNA. When I ordered my plate it came with what I can only describe as bean crepe. As I was getting ready to enjoy the cheesy beans on my plate I stick my fork in the beans and scratched my plate so hard 😅 it was hilarious. I was laughing so hard in disbelief that this was served to me as rice and beans. Man I felt robbed. The asada steak was cooked as I asked but it was just not what I expected for my first visit. My dates plate had significantly greater amount and she was generous enough to give me a spoon full which amounted to more beans than I had in total. I am still laughing because it was unbelievable. When we ordered the guacamole ( specialty here ) they also robbed us from the Cilantro because they didn't have any at the time. It was just not a good first experience. It WAS CLEAN. I'll say that much.
We went for friday night dinner and the place was packed. 30 mins wait but we were on the waitlist via Yelp so were seated as we reached. Outdoor seating is decent. They make fresh guacamole in front of you that is unique. Chips and salsa was good as well ( not your typical salsa, it was spicy). For drinks we ordered House margaritas they were really good. Being a vegetarian there weren’t too many options to choose from. We ordered Veggie quesadilla and burrito. Serving size was really good but average in taste. Service was slow due to rush i believe. Might visit again but maybe only for drinks.
The mole poblano is really good along with their other dishes. They charge $5 for parking out back; ur better off parking on the street for 1$/hr. They also have a $5 charge for splitting the check. There is also about an hour an a half wait time. I would have given them 4/5 if they wouldn’t have charge for parking.
I sat at the bar with a friend and honestly, the food and drinks were good. The mango margarita was really tasty, the appetizer was good, and the chips were amazing. Unfortunately, the service at the bar took away from the experience. The bartender was not friendly at all—no smile, no effort to be welcoming. What made it worse was that he was clearly chatting and laughing with the people sitting next to us, who seemed like regulars. I also witnessed a situation where a customer sent a drink back through a waiter. The bartender responded very rudely and refused to remake the drink. He said he would not change it and instead talked about just switching the glass or adding ice. The waiter allowed this to happen, which honestly is not okay for a restaurant. If a customer isn’t happy with a drink, it should be remade without attitude. The food and drinks were solid, but the lack of professionalism and rude behavior at the bar really stood out and needs to be addressed.
Pretty great service. The waitresses are so welcoming but I do have to say I’ve tried a lot of Mexican food places and I really expected more from them we usually would come for the mole and the beautiful scenery as that has been a dish we have really enjoyed and the fresh guacamole made to order and the queso fundido yum but this is the second time the food just doesn’t hit and lacks in flavor . We ate the molcajete and felt there was no flavor not even in the sauce the chicken was great and soft but I wish they new how to season there food last time we came I ordered the milanesa and the chile relleno and corn tamale ala carte and found the tamal was too dry , the milanesa had no salt and I mean no salt but I’m not one to give back my food so I sate it anyway after adding salt myself to it . The desserts on the other hand are great all are very tasty super delicious.
Every time I drive by this location, I see long lines or groups of people congregated outside. This is due to a blend of both popularity and the fact they do not accept reservations, rather waiting…
We went there yesterday expecting a fun time but it turns out that they no longer have HH. That explains why there were hadly any people and told the staff to ask management to update the website. …
Eight of our family visited the restaurant for an early dinner. We started with 2 guacamole that were made at the table.....delicious along with the the chips. We ordered four sides of refried …
Amazing taste of food. Just poor customer service. We had a party of 6 and the "Manager" split us up and we couldn't put two tables together either. She stated that it was the law. Unfortunately it is NOT. I copied the social distancing law below. Maybe do some research before lying to your customers. They also split another party besides us. No compensation was given for not allowing to sit at tables close to our party. My food portions were very small compared to when I came a month ago. Burritos are about half the size from a month ago. Pay more and get less here. If you are considering this place, go to Melodys instead. About 40% less in price and get bigger entrees. Same owners so you will get the same good taste.
We have been coming to Sol y Luna for years and the food and service has always been top notch, until today. The tostada was mostly lettuce, don't offer chicken tostada if you're going to charge for the chicken. Seriously??? As for the service, we saw Martha one time when she took out order and that was it. Had they not auto added the tip, she wouldn't have gotten one.
This use to be our to go to for good food and service. We had people in from out of town and took them for dinner and all our food was cold, we had to ask for silver, napkins and water then I had to get up and get our menus as the host did not leave them for us to order. But my guest had a bad stomach the entire night after so sad to say this is now off our list to dine :(
I've ordered to go meals from Sol y Luna many times, and the food has always been consistently good. That's why the experience this time was so disappointing. The hostess at the front was extremely r…

Sadly was our favorite but ate there yesterday and have had a bad tummy from my food since :( Taking them off of my go to list of restaurants
I had mole with grilled chicken my brother ordered the milanesa and the food was great but I give a one-star because we heard when you guys talked about the steak being burnt and you guys still served it and we thought you would do something about it but that's why I'm giving you one star and you just don't do that
We ordered 2 lunch special Chicken Tostadas and queso fundio appetizer. Started to eat the a piece of chicken and started choking on a bone (see pic. ) my friend who was with me had eaten on of her tostada but after watching me choke and assisting me to cough it out she lost her appetite. Asked to speak to manager (Ventura is his name) He asked me if I wanted something else ....hell no ! Waitress says sorry but we are busy and those things happen..really? So expect lousy food with bones when they are busy. Bill comes and they still wanted to charge me for the other tostada. I said I would pay half. The manager was yelling at me embarrassing me in front of everyone and said she did not complain only you did. I tried to explain she was now scared to eat her meal. He said fine I will pay for her food out of my own pocket. I said just charge me for half. He continued to make a big scene as everyone stared at us.I said again I will pay for the queso fundies and 1/2 her dish . I have never experienced a manager act like this . I am a former restaurant owner and would never dream of treating my customers like this when they choked on a chicken bone. Ventura has no business being a manager. Patrons beware not to buy chicken dishes when they are busy. This place is going downhill. Go to Melody's or Las Fuentes and get the same food for half the price and shredded chicken without the bones....and no incompetent manager like Ventura.
It took over an hour to get a table. The drinks are not that good and they're super expensive. The manager is extremely rude. We were in a crowded dining room on a Friday night where there were several tables where there were screaming kids and other loud adults. The four of us were having a quiet conversation when the manager came over and told us to be quiet which was incredible. Guys this place used to be good a while ago but it has really gone downhill. There are a lot better options out there. Avoid.
This used to be one of our favorite places, but unfortunately, the new manager does not understand how to respect local customers when they mess up in order The indicates certain ingredients should not be in it. Also, they are now very aggressive and rude
I just got out the hospital so call for a simple order of chicken supe the service was terrible not only they changed me bubble every ingredient i has for on the side was wrong ,I realized when I got home so when I call them to get a refund and tell them what an inconvenience it is for us to drive back as sick as I felt for the refund which they could have done over the phone they give us a hard time when we arrive for the second time for the refund and accuse us for ordering bubble and then they read the order back which they never did some reception girl so when my spurs tell me this i call to speak to the manager not only they were not empathetic about my conversation and what encountered it was for us to drive back from home for their mistake they as for the food back interested of doing the right think like any other restaurant manager would and refund us without hassle they he hangs the phone up.on me and I tried to call back to get a name because I know the owner of the restaurant so I can let him know how rude and disrespectful they were to my spouse the ba years old that went back and forth because how unfortunately the handed their jobs. Service was not only terrible they were very rude by say we looked you up and you tried to tell me in not allow their and it almost sound like a threat as if now they have my address or they were going to take it to another level but letting me what they know about me. I will never support a business loke that ever again either with my family and friends No apologies but lots of insults for food that's not even woth it . Unhappy employees always looks like they are in a prison sentence. Be aware of their unprofessional employees and how much they over charge you.for food that's not even worth it. I dont recommend this Mexican restaurant to any one honestly salsa and beer restaurant should have been my chosen chose that last night.
Went to the restaurant for the first time and ordered take away. At first i was complimenting the hostess/waitress who took my order about how pretty the place is and how id like to come and sit down next time. I wanted nachos with all the good stuff (guacamole, cheese etc..) The waitress asked me which protein id like I asked if theres anything vegetarian. (I am a vegetarian) She offered me veggies (which is not a protein but whatever), i said ok. Got the dish went home. Started eating, was very little guac but the flavours were good and i enjoyed it. A few bites in, a big chunk of MEAT(!!!) I havent eaten meat in 25 years. Disgusted and disappointed called the restaurant and told them and this is the reaponse i got: “i asked my staff and the kitchen and they said theres no meat in the dish” I told her “well i am not making it up and i can bring the dish over for you to see”. Then she asked me if i want a new one. I said i want a new one only if they are able not to put meat in there this time. Then she asked me what bean do i want. I didn't understand the question. And then she explained “there is lard in the beans and the sauce” So first you tell me theres no meat, and only after you talk to me about a new dish you remember theres also lard?!?!?!??!?! Then she said black beans are fine for vegetarians. I said ok. I went back to pick up new nachos. Only to find there is no guacamole at all. All i can do is hope theres nothing that contains animals this time. This is beyond unprofessional and thats horrible, horrible customer service. The facts that waiters don't tell people that their nachos contain animal fat (!!!!!!!!!!!) The fact that the kitchen is so reckless and the fact that the manager is so unprofessional. Not going back sadly.
I didn't even got to enter,.parking is on the back and they charge you... Plenty of restaurants nearby and plenty of street parking and a plaza parking lit but this guy is charging $10 for valet. If you don't pay you don't get to park. Place was literally empty, my first time stopping at this location and last
