Food was absolutely delicious! I had the tacos dorados- homemade tortillas are so good. Hubs had the mole enchiladas which were 🔥! The green salsa is to die for. $400 for 2 plates and 2 sodas.
When in Tecate, this is a great place to visit. We have been here twice for breakfast. Cafe de Olla is bomb, hand made tortillas, menudo, chilaquilles, and caldo de huevo are highly recommended!

Pueblo Nuevo is a great new restaurant. The owner sat down with us to enjoy the amazingly flavorful barbacoa and refreshing agua Fresca. Fantastic flavors! Pueblo Nuevo is lively and colorful, clean, and welcoming. Definitely try it out!
Buena comida y bueno servicio, pero hacía calor y los aire acondicionados no estaban funcionando
La comida es buena, el ambiente cómodo y agradable, en un lugar pintoresco. Lo malo: el servicio es lento y los precios son un poco elevados. Te cobran por cada extra que pides así sea una tortilla o azúcar.
Un lugar agradable, básico en instalaciones y servicio, un menú variado, con platillos tradicionales, no novedosos pero de buen sazón. Eso sí, las raciones si están muy medidas, para una persona con mucha hambre no sería conveniente. Atención del personal 10/10, instalaciones 8/10, menú 8/10, precios 8/10. Es un buen lugar para comer, pero no recomiendo mucho para desayunar. Pero pueden mejorar.
Muy rico, la barbacoa tiene una sabor muy distinto y acompañado de un rico jugo de naranja. Muy recomendable y lugar obligatorio a visitar cuando estás en Tecate. 🤤

All in all we had a good experience. The food was tasty, service was good. The barbacoa tatemada was delicious so was the cafe de olla.

300 pesos for ONE chile enogada, nothing else! Was not worth it. Way too sweet, and there was liquor in there which was not evaporated. Could taste the alcohol, not the flavor.
Got to be lucky, sometimes close, hand made tortillas, tipical Mexican restaurant. Breakfast is the one popular with nehgbors.
