Havent been to this restaurant in a long time, last time I went was when there was a previous owner and the food wasnt that good. Went by today to check it out since I saw it was renovated and under a new owner, I ordered the Carne Asada Torta and it was fire. Gonna be my new spot now since its by where I live.

The my carne asada fries were fresh. The lady’s there were super nice. I forget how big the portion for a regular carne asada fries were. I barely put a dint in it.

Food served hot and fresh. Good seasoning and sauce on the Chile rellenos I ordered. Portions are good too.

I love the Pollo asada nachos chicken is always grilled fresh California Burritos or bomb always super clean friendly service food well-prepared always in and out one of the best Alberto's out there I'd like to thank Juan personally he always treats us like family is super nice thanks for the help guys and the great food

Small store, but huge food portions. I live in Palm Desert, but I drive out to Alberto's in Temecula just to get the California burritos. Completely worth it, they're fantastic.

Service was very good. Food was great. Very clean and well managed. Follows safe serve practices which is a great food safety program. We will be back.

Fire hot sauce! Its the chunky looking one where you can see the chili seeds, not the watery looking one. The carne asada breakfast burrito is my go to. For about 12 bucks, this carries me all the way to dinner!

They have but one get tacos for Taco Tuesday! Salsa bar is always clean and fresh AND they're cinnamon chips are crazy yummy. I've been eating Alberto's since I was a little girl and they never steer my wrong.

The food is so yummy . My family and I have been here a few times and it always been so good . It shouldn’t be that good because I end up eating too much of my carne asada fries and then I’m stuffed :) but it’s just so good . Everything I’ve tried has been good and fresh . Authentic and good food for good price. It's small and stuffy inside. There are about 6 tables. They have a fresh salsa bar and pickles carrots/jalepenos. It's not usually crowded. My husband and I love this place.

How disappointing this taco shop is. The food was mediocre... Nothing to draw me back. The salsa was bland and the avocado salsa was awful. My kid was not happy that his cheese rolled tacos had guacamole on them (I thought it was a nice surprise, him not so much).

Marquee had lower price than what the cash register showed. We had to pay a dollar more, but the worst thing was the woman at the cash register. She had no personality and wasn't at all friendly. Food was very good.

Huge chunks of potato. I ordered two potato bacon breakfast potatoes and the staff was nice and it was brought out in a timely manner but there were huge chunks of potatoes in the burritos. They were also a bit uncooked so you could taste that starchy-raw potato with every bite. Disappointed.

Some of the worst burritos I have ever had in my life

Been coming here for years with no problems. This morning I ordered a machaca plate and burrito. The meat was old and not good at all. Very disappointing needless to say.

Yesterday carne asada burrito was huge and fresh and delicious, came back today and got the worst carne asada Burrito, taste like burnt meat and half the size of what I got yesterday. Different workers today.

So if you want to go somewhere that has no flavor on their food then this is the place for you. The food was tasteless and greasy. I will not be returning.

Kinda grossed out. There were a bunch of little black hairs on both cups we were given. Horchata was sour! Mild salsa in the salsa bar had definitely turned. They closed at 8pm while we were there eating...hours say 11? Food took 30 mins. Hubby was on the toilet all night and I couldn't bring myself to eat the Chile verde burrito I ordered but the quesadilla was good. So disappointed as we both grew up frequenting Alberto's in San Diego.

i honestly have not tried the food here but i doordash frequently and i have to say this has to be the slowest service even when the store it empty also when i was picking up order the cook made a comment in spanish thinking i would not understand

Most Albertos are pretty good, but this location has bland food. It’s quite hard to screw up Mexican food, but having little flavor will do it. On the plus side, the inside is clean.

I haven't been eating Alberto's for years different locations this is the worst I've ever had the five rolled tacos / taquitos taste like Frozen taquitos the guacamole was horrible and I don't do a lot of reviews very disappointed through my money away the chicken did not taste like chicken so if you guys are using Frozen taquitos stop whatever you're doing get it right horrible and I'm not one to complain about food this was horrible

Under new owner place is clean and service is good. But food is not good. No flavor in food very bland. Red salsa looks like mashed carrots and has no flavor. Under last owner place was messy but food was good. not good anymore.

Bad service. food was very dry. Too much peper. The aguas frescas are not natural and taste bad. No lemons for the food. Found ants in my food. Never coming again. I would give 0 starts if i could.

Ordered two chicken burritos both had no flavor at all. Whoever the cook is think about a career change because it’s just not cutting it.

They do not stay open during their posted hours. I got there at 8:30 on a Friday and the lady inside said they were closed.

Placed an order for 6 tacos and a burrito 40 minutes ago (at 7:17pm) and I'm still waiting. There's no one else here. Won't be back.

Having been to this restraunt 2 previous times where the food was ok, not great but ok , we figured why not again . The service was terrible in an empty store at 5pm on Saturday, should have been a clue, anyway ordered food and when we got it home it was disgusting the meat tasted off what little there was and the guacamole was so old it was turning brown as I tried to eat it. No lettuce on rolled tacos. Just sad. Sorry the place is so bad now, probably why it was empty. Won't bother going here again. There are better restraunts just as close that care.

Ordered 4 hard tacos with extra cheese, chips and salsa, 2 soft tacos and an order of rolled tacos. When I got home there was NO salsa. "Extra cheese" was in cups. No cheese on rolled tacos. When I called I was told the "cook was new". No apology nothing. I'm disappointed I've always enjoyed food at albertos.

I came in 35 mins before close (it's a quick serve restaurant) and the lady at the counter stared at me blankly like a silent festering rage. I asked her if she was doing alright and she didn't say anything. I said are you sure? She then let me know that it's pretty late for me to be coming in (they were trying to close up since no one was coming in). I reconciled with her and let her know that sucks and made my order, which she seemed very sad to do. I guess she expected me to leave the store and not give it my business. The lady was quite large, and because of this looked a little intimidating when combined with her deadpan blank stares. She was heavyset and about 5'11. I stood there until my food was ready, then she handed it to me still silently festering like I was responsible for her torment. I said thanks and have a good night and smiled at her trying to cheer her up and be as nice and polite as possible. She just stared at me blankly, like I was this object of rage that she was trying to refrain from attacking. It felt like I was a member of a rival gang rolling up on their turf, but there's police all around so she can't do anything. If she had been having a bad night I understand, but she made it clear at the beginning that her night became bad because I was there to buy something. If that's the way your business runs then don't expect to be in business much longer. Pretty terrible customer service and I hadn't even tried my food yet. Carne asada is garbage, but chicken and shrimp are great. Shrimp taco was pretty bomb. The chicken enchilada was great, I think? It was hard to tell since most of it fell out of the box they put it in! They put their food in these odd cheap styrofoam clam shell boxes that don't even have the hole to "button" in the lid. The lid just opens up and food spills out the moment it is slightly tipped to the side, which it probably will if they give you two boxes and put them in their circular shaped bag (brilliant!) that naturally tilts the top box while you're carrying it. Loved noticing that too as I'm walking to my car with it and having to shovel it back into the box. Unfortunately by the time I got home I had a nice meat pool stewing at the bottom of the bag. At least the bag didn't leak 😅 of course they don't give you any forks to eat the enchiladas, either , so make sure you have your own silverware for when you're getting food to go! But quite honestly I'm not sure why you'd get anything to go here if the staff here just wants you to GO away! ✌️

HORRIBLE! I was their 1st order therefore 1st customer of the day. My burrito was wrapped in foil and paper, you would think it would be HOT! Sadly, it was not; you could tell it was warmed, pre-cooked meat, it had a refrigerated taste. I'll never return

Obviously a owner that doesn't care. Colder inside the restaurant than outside and it was 54° outside, the counter is falling apart and I hope that is just dirt and mold at the bottom, the salsa bar looks like it was left out from the day before maybe even longer because salsa doesn't get that dry and hard on the spoons and table in a couple of hours of being open, the guacamole tasted bland, foot prints on the table, half of the sodas and teas don't work.

Can’t say I’m surprised they classically mess up my order. A simple flaunta, beans and rice. They forget the beans and rice. I was gonna let that slide. Then the order was cold. Like fridge cold. I ordered 2 bean rice and cheese burritos , very simple order. rush home to give my family there food and the burritos are straight beans, no cheese and no rice. it really sucks that the cost of food has sky rocketed yet they still can’t seem to get a simple order correct.
