I ordered two veggie sandwiches. I usually always order this or veggie pizzas from schlotzsky's. The place has gotten a lot better since it has new owners. But they have to get their drive-thru microphone fix the lady could barely hear me and I had to repeat my order for 4-5 times to ensure that it was correct. This also made the drive-thru line have a backup because of the lack of communication between the microphone set and the customer. I haven't been in quite some time so I can't tell you if the inside is clean but the outside looks great. So I definitely would recommend this and it would be so much more efficient if this small thing was just fixed thank you have a wonderful day

It is a bit pricey but the amount and quality of the food I feel make up for it. I have had lunch here several times and always receive good service and quality food. At the end of your meal a hot cinnabon to finish with.

I have always loved this place from the first time I had an Original sandwich. This was no exception. I haven't been to one of the stores where anyone was unfriendly or without a smile. The only thing I missed every, single visit is pickles. The spears Schlotzkey's used to include with the sandwiches was missing the past couple visits. Otherwise, all was delicious!

I had a wonderful experience at this location, when I entered the dining room I was greeted by one of the employees by the front door and the cashier who was waiting to take my order ,what made it even better is when the cashier allowed me time to look over the menu and decide what I wanted, also even recommended sandwiches to try. Great customer service and food. I highly recommend this store to anyone who wants a fantastic meal and great customer service.

This place has the best sandwiches I have ever ate. The food is freshly made and I cant get enough of it. One of my favorite places to eat. Perfect for a family or for a date. This place is a cozy place to eat. Also has outdoor seating.

I love a good schlotzskys sandwich. I get the same thing every time. Some locations make them slightly better than others. But this location in Terrell was a cut above - it really was the best tasting one I can recall. Sure it took a few extra minutes to wait for it, but it was well worth it. this coupled with the friendly workers made our experience at this location even sweeter. I’d gladly come back to this one.

We eat lunch at Schlotzsky's anytime we visit a larger area that has one available. I order the gluten-free sandwich option and am always happy with the options, flavor, and size. My only complaint is that I always order extra mayo and added mustard and rarely get it, so I have to go and ask for more after receiving my order. The staff is rarely very friendly, but sadly, I believe this is the new norm for many employees in any type of business.

She created personalized box lunches for each person and labeled each box with their name. And they were able to deliver to our venue in perfect timing. The staff was sweet and fast. The original sandwiches we got were favorable and awesome. My only complaint was the tea was burnt or something, it tasted terrible.

Always great sandwiches and soups. Very fast service and the one in Terrell is always so clean. Great spot for a non-fried, fresh sandwich alternative to the salt and fat laden muck sold at most fast food places.

Chad made our sandwiches and they were the best I have gotten there in a long time. Chad also wore a mask over his mouth and nose, which we appreciated. The other lady making sandwiches wore a mask over her mouth but it fell below her nose. However, the woman behind the register was not wearing a mask when we walked up. She then put one on but it did not cover her nose and everytime she spoke she pulled it down below her mouth. She then went to the back to help and was within inches of the food with her mask not on at all. I appreciated Chad not breathing on my food during covid. He was also very polite.

Here's the deal with Schlotzsky's - it's good food. The food is tasty and the service is okay, and this particular establishment isn't terrible at all if this is what you have a hunger for. The issue comes when you compare it to other sandwich shops, like Subway or the Jersey Mike's in Forney, or even with something like La Madeleine, Panera, or McAlister's Deli - the prices are too damn high for what you're getting. The food is simple, and the portions are below average for the price. Last time I went, they told me that their combo option was discontinued and if you wanted chips and a beverage with your meal, you'd have to get everything individually. The fact that this establishment is price comparable to something like La Madeleine, which has a much higher quality of food with portions that are actually reasonable for the price, is ridiculous. How they get off charging over ten, twelve, fifteen dollars for a meal depending on what you get is absolutely ridiculous. Now, we have no McAlister's in Terrell, or La Madeleine. This is what you get if you're looking for a sort of deli option in this area, without resorting to a Subway. And if you have the money - go for it. It's tasty food. But it's just simply not worth it when it comes down to it.

This location of Schlotsky's has gone downhill. It is local to us so we are somewhat regulars. The buns are almost stale, definitely dry. Both of our sandwiches meats were dry and tasteless (like refrigerated and open to air). With the cost of a sandwich, chips, and drink closing in on a $20.00 bill - not worth it.

This was my first time order from here and experience was not so cool. I order online Friday for a Monday delivery and no-one never check the online order. Well order suppose to been deliver at 11 well it was almost 2 pm before our important clients were able to eat. Manager said 45 mins when really it took them 2 hours. I could have order from some place else if only he would have said 2 hours. Food was hot and fresh but this unacceptable. No accommodations at all.

The food is great! There is a manager that's usually there on the day shift (or lunch hour), and she is phenomenal! If she's not there, the service is not that great. You will stand at the counter for a long time before someone addresses you...and someone may even know you are there, but still won't even say hi or one moment please.

Food was good as it always is. I would say the poor customer service and price always deters me from here. I ordered a cinnamon bon and after doing so and realizing it was $4 I asked the drive thru attendant to cancel cinnamon roll and her response was less than customer friendly with a dirty look, snarled upper lip and high pitched noise which was totally uncalled for. But again, she works at Schlotzskys for a living sooo.. So if your looking for a good sandwich this is the place, if your looking for good customer service this is not the place and remember you may need small bank loan for sandwich, chips and small drink as you have to order each item separately.

Ordered sweet tea, she says we don't have any tea today, I asked if they would have some tomorrow? Then she only got half of our order.

I have no idea where Schlotzkys get their employees from but almost every single shop I go into is a clusterf**k. Today I'm visiting the one by the Tangier Outlet Malls. I've been here for 30 minutes now and have seen 1 sandwich delivered. The place is packed. The girl at the register is avereging 1 order every 4-5 minutes. She is so slow and so fat she cannot use both hands on the register. I don't know what's going on in the kitchen but it's not food prep.

Sat in the drive through line for 20 minutes waiting on 1 sandwich. Every car behind me drove off before receiving their orders due to how long it was taking.

Schlotskys food is delicious. This location is record setting..... not the good record though. This location holds the record for the slowest fast food location on the face of this planet. They also have a real management issue because they are ALWAYS out of something. It's a roll of the dice. Lol The new calzones though are 🔥. Worth the hour wait in the drive through.

I would love to give them 5 stars but honestly both times have not been so great. I ordered a big meal for my family and turns out one of my sandwhiches had a long piece of small wire almost looked like a bread tie and I am so glad my kids didn't get ahold of it and choke on it! So I did call the manager and let him know and he offered me a free meal within 30 days...not what I was looking for but okay cool. Well a few weeks pass and I went back tonight...called them 20 minutes in advance just so they could have it ready..also spoke to the manager and they would have it ready..well I get there and I am missing a sandwhich..so wait just a few more minutes to get it. I love and always have loved schlotskys but I think this place needs to be worked on or hired better employers..I mean even the lady that was apologizing for the mistake was eating a sandwhich and chewing her food while talking to me. Don't think I will be back here. 😐

Clerk had no idea how to place my order and had to have another clerk help. When I got my order it was barely wrapped and mustard was smeared on the outside of the wrapper. A group of about 10 came in when I left and there was no one at the counter!

Surly service. When we asked for a courtesy water, we were scowled at and given styrofoam cups with lids that didn't fit. Ordered 2 meals and had to go back for chips. A bad experience. The quality of the food was good but workers don't want to be there. They should not be there then.

The manager gave us our food because the system went down and she couldn't ring us up. That still didn't make for the negative things. The speaker in drive thru didn't work. The sandwich I want is discontinued, but they attempted to make me something similar. Not worth it. My Cinnabon was cold after I expressly asked for hot.

I placed an online order at 12:03. When I arrived to the store at 12:31, the order was still not ready. It took them another 10 minutes to fill the order. That defeats the purpose of placing order 30 min prior to arrival. No drink or side offered for the extended wait. I don't recommend this location especially if you only get 30 min for lunch. Do better.

They may as well stop serving Cinnabon. I have yet to get a fresh and hot one. Normally they are dry, overcooked or burnt. Their sandwiches are hit and miss. The next closest store is about 30 min away. Disappointing.

I want to point out that there’s a real need for training to encourage and EMPOWER employees. Right now, the men’s restroom is not in great shape. It’s messy and unsanitary, with some BROKEN features that need attention. The door handle and lock aren't working correctly, making it hard to close or lock the door, which affects the functionality of the men's bathroom. The faucet and soap dispenser are also broken, raising concerns about how male employees can wash their hands. It’s disappointing that a customer has to bring this up. These problems have been around for a while, so it’s concerning that management has not taken the initiative to handle the necessary repairs. Leadership should prioritize providing training that allows employees to speak up when they notice issues. I’m confident that improvements can be made. I look forward to hearing about the repairs for the men’s restroom and how staff will be EMPOWERED to raise concerns.

Being the only person in one and waiting 20 minutes for one sandwich is wild

1 out of anything to make a salad and most of the sandwiches. 2 forgot to put items in a bag. 3 tried to refuse my coupon 4 I was the one who was apologizing for all of their errors though I'm the customer. My worst experience ever

The customer service is terrible, I’ve tried reaching out to this exact location more than one time with no response or just to get hung up on! Unfortunately, I will no longer be using this location. So sad that not even the new management can control this store. Not to mention the wait times through the drive through are horrible!!

I met my daughter there for her 30 minute lunch break and it took us 20 to get the food. After 10 maybe 15 minutes of waiting I went to check on it and they hadn't even started my order yet. Probably won't go back

Ordered a bacon smoked cheesy on a sour dough beard they gave me bread with jalapeños on it. Then order a turkey club with extra mayo and it came with no veggies on it. Bad part they tried to pass the food off as is.

Terrible place. Drove up to drive thru and wanted with no response. Drive thru looked as though it had been run over. Assumed it was broke. Pulled up to window. We were seen by 3 people and no one bothered to assist.

I ordered the pastrami sandwich which did not have fresh pastrami it was pressed pastrami ( processed meat) no pickles. It look good when we open the box but it taste like _______. and it's $13 very disappointed.

Longest wait time for food ever can not be overstated. I will never go back here again. I could make reservations, wait to be seated, order and eat, pay my check at a restaurant and still be waiting in the drive thru for these people. This location should be ashamed of itself.

Hadn't been in a while, so we ordered one of the salads on their menu like we had before and a Ruben sandwich on rye. The salad was in a bowl less than half the size of the one we had in the past, yet the online photo still shows the old large green one. The Ruben sandwich had very little cabbage, maybe a teaspoon full, and the rye bread had zero caraway flavor. It was brown, but looked like pumpernickel and had no taste. I doubt we'll go back.

Absolutely disgusting. I've always used the drive thru, until tonight. Not a single clean table, and not due to being too busy. Chairs had a filthy layer of nasty film, like they have never been properly washed. Sadly I witnessed poor hand washing technique by a kitchen staff in the restroom..... that probably had not been cleaned either. My husband said the mens restroom was in pretty nasty condition. I know that recently this location was shut down temporarily, looks like time that the health department needs to make a visit. If we only see the lobby and restrooms, what does the kitchen look like?

Live down the road and the drive thru just took 15 mins. The food is mediocre at best. Ordered the large original 2 of them for 22.00 rather have a subway. Cheese was nuked by a microwave, mustard was slammed on the sandwich, no letteuce., and the meat was old! Watch out for this place I ate 1 bite and my girlfriend knew I hated the sandwich! This place was filthy, looked up at the ceiling and there were big dead bugs in the light fixtures and dirt and/or mold coming out of the air conditioner vents. The woman at the counter told us she was quitting on Wednesday because she hated her job after she told us the cinnamon bun deal was a rip off ! Very disappointed because we usually love to eat at Schlotzsky's!!

This place wait time is soooo awful..I'm still in the drive thru waiting..I arrived her between 11:25am ..no greeting from the drive thru..he just came onto the speaker and said "hold on"..didn't take my order until 10mintues later..receipt on my order said 11:39am it now 11:57am and counting still no order, ..He just now came thru the window and said they is short staff..Iadvised I can take a refund and then he aid we making in right now..customer service is horribe..first time here and it's my last.

Worst service I've ever had at a Schlotzsky"s. People ahead of me had to go park and wait after a long discussion at the window. I ordered a sandwich only. After sitting at window for almost 20 minutes I got a sandwich with drink and chips. I just took it and drove off. Have to get on with life! Thankfully the drink was unsweetened tea as I am diabetic. Will NEVER go to that location again.

Had me wait at the drive thru speaker for over five minutes - must have forgotten I was there. Then, had me repeat my order several times, told me to hold on again for a few minutes. All in 100 degree heat with the windows down because I'm waiting for them to get back to me.

Hours say they close at 9pm, I. The door it says 9pm. I arrived at 8:27, to grab something to go, doors were locked. I knocked the female employee just stared at me. I drive a truck, was parked at QT across the street, as I cannot use the drive thru. If you close at 8, please update the hours on Google, and on your front door.

Waited in drive through for literally 20 minutes. When I got my sandwich it was wrong and so poorly prepared that I ended up paying $15 for some soggy cheese bread with a clump of olives. I will NEVER come back. This was their last chance.

No cars in parking lot- waited 10 min at the order window and then was asked to wait- then waited 27min at the window before we ever saw a person to pay or get our food! There was no other customers so im not sure what the deal was and then our sandwiches were wrong. Paid extra for avacado and did not get it and the sauce for the sandwich was wrong! I do not normally write reviews but this was the worst waiting situation I have ever had at a fast food restaurant! No reason was given for the terrible wait or anything!

Didn't put any dressing on my salads. No Mac and cheese any more. Staff didn't know what a pick two was. Everything was made extremely sloppy. Waited almost 15 mins for this and paid over 20 dollars for be this sloppy mess. So over it. I'm a fan of this brand but screw this location. Will never go back.

This is bad. They don't even have a menu, and the guy that took my order was like "I mean it's only missing a couple combos on there. Most the menu is there". For real? I had to pull up the menu on my phone. Then it took what felt like one person working and four messing around to fulfill the order. Bizarre a chain like this can be in business without a menu. I remember then advertising new management like it was a good thing. What happened?

Drive thru person was rude, sandwich was soggy and soup was cold and lumpy. Can't comment on the chips because they didn't give them to me. The only thing I got for my $20 meal was confirmation NOT to go back and to warn others so maybe they won't lose their money.

I came to the Schlotzsky’s on Saturday, November 20, 2021 around 12:20 PM. It was not a very busy day at the restaurant. It took them forever to get my food. I came through the drive-through and it was a ridiculous amount of time that I had to wait. I will never come back to this location again. The district manager needs to know that they are just entirely too slow and they need to do something about moving the drive-through line a lot faster than what they are doing.

I got a very sweet girl to take my order. None of this is her fault!! I got home and found my order was completely wrong. I would have taken it back except it was 20 plus miles from my house. I ordered all medium sandwiches, 4 of them, and on 1 was with no onions and pesto sauce. When I got home I found I paid for medium sandwiches and got 3 small and 1 medium. Furthermore I found all of them had onions!! Understandibly I was very upset! It will be a long time before I get food from that place.

Used them in the distant past and they were good BUT..... Once last week and gave them a second chance this week and both times the bread was HARD on the edges, to the point of being impossible to chew. , once it was the wrong bread and both times, when we ordered an ORIGINAL sandwich, they made it poorly and the taste was stale and bland. NOT the tasty original Schlotzky's sandwich. HIGHLY disappointing.

Second time we’ve attempted to utilize the BOGO pizza on Wednesdays to be told that they are completely out. The first time I was told only the California pizza would be the only thing on pizza crust and the 3 pepperonis would have to be on the flat bread crust. As it was past dinner time I was displeased but accepted that maybe they had run out. Today we stopped by for lunch to be told there was no pepperoni pizzas and it would have to be a flat bread again. Why would I pay the price to have a pizza to receive a smaller flatbread?

I ordered the turkey avocado; it was dry only moisture came from the very little piece of avocado that was on the dryest bread and toughest bread I have ever tried to eat. Not a good choice! Stick with the original and make sure all ingredients are fresh!

Rude employees and they over charge people so watch out. Told them at the window that we’d like to add a combo to one of the meals, she rolled her eyes and proceeded to charge me for two additional drinks. My card got swiped twice and it didn’t equal the amount of the receipt total. I called the store and she tried to tell me the price was right. Come on, it’s not that hard to figure out I was overcharged. Honestly think she did it on purpose. No respect for customers whatsoever. Won’t be returning, don’t you worry! And I will be contacting corporate office.

I ordered the Albuquerque Turkey sandwich , which I always get, and was told they didn't make it anymore, disappointed ordered something else and then waited in drive-thru for over 40 minutes, got to the window and they didn't even know what I ordered. The Turkey Cobb salad is missing the Turkey, the sandwiches were cold and not cut in half. I also had to tell them I hadn't even paid after they gave me the order, then no receipt. 4 cars pulled out of line and left. They will not make it at this rate. Too bad. -1 star rating

All them players were playing Uno at a table and said, “Sorry guys, we’re closed.” If you’re closed, it is the company’s responsibility to update the hours of operation. We have family in town that hasn’t had Schlotzky’s in years. We drove over 20 miles from home to have it. Will not be back here.

I gave a one star for the food because my husband's turkey bacon club gave him a bad case of food poisoning. I had the California chicken flatbread which had bacon on it. I am also feeling sick but not nearly as bad as he is. We believe it was the bacon that caused it. It's very scary to think that if I had eaten his sandwich instead, because I am in my 2nd trimester of pregnancy, that could have potentially resulted in the loss of our baby. We know it was from this food because all we had was breakfast yesterday morning and then this for lunch/dinner. My husband woke up this morning with vomiting, diarrhea, a bad headache and body aches. The place was clean and the staff was very friendly but what does that matter if it makes us sick as dogs?

Do not go if in a hurry took 30 minutes to get my order. When I finally got it and went back to work it was the wrong food. Called manager she made excuses for her employees mistakes I explained to her how serious it is to give wrong food when people have food allergies like myself. She as manager who passed me the bag did not check it to see if it was the right order. When I called to tell her I could not get a word in for excuses. My food was wrong the sandwich was dry lettuce was old . Do not recommend.

I was at Schlotzsky's on April 26th I arrived about 10 to 7:00 and it was two other Caucasian people that was right after me both of them got their sandwiches they couldn't find my sandwiches is awfully funny they could find a Caucasian sandwiches but but they couldn't find my sandwich I'm a African-American to me that's racial profiling if you are African American do not go to that Schlotzsky's in Terrell because they will make you wait and they'll probably lose your sandwich

We ate there Sun Dec 22nd for lunch. The girl working couldn't have had a worse attitude. But we look past that and then the food was awful. The bread seemed dry and the mac n cheese was probably the worst I've ever had. We love Schlotskys & have for 20+ years but this left a lot to be desired!

Worst service at a Schlotzsky's ever. The staff were talking about parties this weekend and who is having sex with who. So it should come as no surprise that they screwed my order up. It was placed correctly but as you can see they didn't abide by the instructions. When it was delivered the employee was unconcerned and said I could scrape it off because they forgot to make it the right way. I won't be back. And I travel this way often. This chain is one of my favorites but they seriously need to look into how this unit runs. Good luck if you stop here.
