Decon is the best bartender/server here for sure! We have the AppleBees date night pass and come at least once a week. We always ask for Decon! Great service and a great guy! They’re lucky to have him! If you haven’t given them a try in a while make sure to stop in and ask for Decon.

Me and my wife stopped in to eat, and we got the 2 for 25. We really were impressed by the quality and quantity of the portions of salad and the entrees. I love the way the cucumber and tomato was diced. Perfect! The food was wonderful as usual. And we didn't wait long at all to get refills.

We had such a great dinner a few days ago. Everything we ate was wonderful although, I can not eat anything spicy and they have a tendency to be a little on the spicy side. (I have a weird sensitivity to pepper). They took great care to make it safe to eat inside. We had the best waitress. Her name is Shantell. If you go, please ask for her. She is very kind and very attentive to your needs.

My family and I came in Saturday to have a late lunch. Our sever Alesha sat us down and told us she would be back in just a few minutes. They were extremely busy. It was her and only 1 other person on the floor. She returned got our drink order and let us know about the AYCE. Our daughter was very hungry so Alesha opted to get her food started first. We settled on the AYCE for 4 adults. Even tho it was only her and another gentleman working the entire front of the restaurant, we were taken extremely good care of. Our daughter just loved Alesha. We were very pleased with the food and the amazing service we received. Our family will definitely be back and hope to see Alesha!! She done a wonderful job!

I came in bout 230today and Alesha greeted me with a pleasant smile. Undecided on what to eat she told me the 8 oz steak was her favorite it was cooked to medium rare and had cheesy broccoli and loaded mash potatoes with it. topped off with a Texas sweet tea!!Super friendly fast service and I will be making this a weekly stop to visit my new friend! On Tuesday 8/15 my family and I stopped in to grab a bite to eat on our road trip to DFW. I never thought our experience would have been as delightful as they were during our 1-hour lunch break from the road. Upon leaving the restaurant, after receiving exceptional customer service from our waitress, a member of management thanked each one of us for dining in with Texarkana Applebee's. Nobody was aware but we were traveling for a funeral and the kindness and hospitality of the employees created an atmosphere of such joy that my family and I desperately needed. 6 stars out of 5 rating. The food was really good, served hot and fresh, the only complaint that I have is the service, I ordered a beer when I went here, and it took them 10 minutes to get me a single beer, I think I waited longer for my drink then we did the food, and It was in a glass bottle too, not even a glass as advertised. If you dont care about that though I still reccomend eating here, and I doubt that is the normal wait time for a drink. Give it a shot.

Good food , went to eat all you can eat chicken ,ribs and shrimp. Asked for more coleslaw but was told there wasn't any more. I got a tiny container of slaw . Had to wait forever to get any more food. YOU only get 4 pieces chicken bites at a time . 6 shrimp at a time. I guess this is their way of saving on food for the ALL you can eat 🤷‍♀️

I went there with my two kids and order 2for $25 which mean one appetizer and two entries and one separate order. $25deal i upgrade 6oz to 8oz stake(add $3more) and honey chicken with honeycomb French fries then I received pieces chicken and pieces of French fries! Understand cuz deal entries is not regular size but separate order 8oz stake and deal entrie stake is half size of my hand. So disappointed regular entrie have to be better plate! Came in cause it was NOT packed like the other two places we tried. I DO NOT Stand in line to eat average food... Never. Anyway we got seated at once, got our water order immediately and by the time she brought our drinks we ordered. Daughter got riblets plate, wife got grilled lemon chicken quinoa something but said it was really tasty. Daughter loves ribs and I warned her these are not quite the same... So she didn't like them, they were tuff and not much meat. She also likes DRY ribs like me too and why I DO NOT EAT drowned meat... I got the BBQ brisket tacos and they are really good. So, overall great fast friendly service, clean rest room and tasty food. Good dinner and we will be back.

Not a bad experience. The food was good but my friend said her chicken was too salty. My steak was fine. It took longer than expected for our food to arrive despite barely anyone being there. Price wise it was about the same as any sit down restaurant that isn’t Tex-Mex. A 8oz steak and beer came out at around $27 before the tip.

Was a Hostess for Applebee's. Some of the waitress's were very rude and didn't pay me the correct amount I should have been given. The last day I had gone to pick up the last of the money I only had gotten two $5 bills. One manager was male and very sexist. I was trying to seat a party of at least 15. I had gotten no help and at least some of the customers had understood that I was really one of the only people working there trying to get everyone taken care of. Also a Hostess is not supposed to get the food or drink that is the waitress's job. My overall job was to welcome and seat people and see if they needed anything and clean clean clean. I'm glad the waiters were nicer to me though. The waiters would always see if I needed any help so thank you. Also thank you to the customers who saw that I was trying my best under certain circumstances. :)

Just couldn't get into the flavors of the food. My steak was cooked nice and tender, but whatever they used to marinate it in was a very unappealing flavor. The Buffalo wings appetizers were cold and extremely overloaded with so much sauce that it overwhelmed the entire taste of the meat. This probably will be my last visit to an Applebee's. Now, on the bright side, the wait staff was friendly and attentive, and the inside was nice and well upkept.

They've changed some of the regular foods like the Santa Fe chicken. It used to have cilantro lime rice but now it has Spanish rice that isn't as good. The restaurant smells bad too. Like it needs to be thoroughly cleaned. Carpets especially.

The food was basic. For what it cost for 4 people to eat, the food should have been so much better. I guess it's partly my fault for expecting more. Also, the floors and tables were sticky, like they used sweet tea to wipe everything down. Our server was so sweet, she is the ONLY reason I didn't give the place 1 star.

We had a wonderful waiter. He was genuinely pleasant. Not fake-flair ala Jennifer Aniston in Office Space. The booth table was comfortable. However, the food was bland. There were maybe 5 thin almond slices, very little mixd greens -mostly plain lettuce, chicken was more batter than chicken, the dressing had no flavor and no oriental spice to it. The wine probably made up for it. We called this a heavy pour.

Don't necessarily care for Applebees but this establishment did a good deed and donated staff and time for my daughter's class, and had a pancake breakfast. Thank you. For this reason alone I would support this particular business.

We ordered lunch here on Sunday March 14th. The food was good but service was slow. I noticed 5 wait staff wearing masks as “chin guards” not covering nose and in one case not even their mouth. Another apparent manager wasn’t wearing a mask at all. I probably won’t come back. It was just OK and if the staff don’t care enough to wear masks then what’s going on with my food in the back. Oh well at least I am full.

I didn't like the service period.. hence the rating, the server used to show up at just too long intervals, it could be because the place was too busy but what didn't make sense is inspite of specific instructions for substitutions which was agreed we were brought whatever was available, rice was asked as substitution of potatoes but we got fries, the extra side of rice just came fine but when asked about substitution we were told that they had run out of rice. That seemed like a silly excuse. Food portions seemed smaller than other Applebee's Chips in Nachos came too salty but was okie that came with artichoke dip. Dessert was good.

Haven’t been to an Applebees in years, decided to give them another shot. Right off the bat we were seated and the seat had food all in it from the last customer and it was extremely hot inside, asked to be moved from the corner hoping we it would be cooler more in the center of the room, wasn’t, waiter then told us there ac was broken. I left.

Ordered a tall beer arrived 3/4 full. Server had it corrected. Ordered 2 burgers slightly pink. They arrived dry and cold. The fries were old and soggy. Had my plate returned it arrived correct. The server was fantastic. She needs to be the manager.

Our experience was horrible. Not only did we have a terribly long wait for our drinks and food, our waiter did a horrible job. We had to go get our own drinks from the bar because he wouldn’t come serve us. He paid someone else’s food with my friends card TWICE. Then the manager wouldn’t even come apologize or anything. The whole experience was horrible. But food was decent.

Server was, frankly, a really weird individual. Took a long time, and spilled our drinks. Food also took a long time. Basically, if you want to remember why you don't eat at Applebee's, come to this restaurant.

I was glad to find a place that closes late, so that was great. They have some descent priced specials that was worth it. Service was pretty bad. Great lunch dish, reasonable priced. Nice atmosphere. The service I received was unacceptable. Waitress was not knowledgeable about menu item, did not visit my table for services after I ordered. I had to flag down another waitress. When I received my bill she was clueless as to whose copy was whose and didn’t know merchant copy from my copy... and Yes, I wanted a copy of my receipt. Won't be back!

Our meals were both overcooked, mine was unedible the buns were burnt so bad you could barely bite them. The cheese on the skillet was burnt black. It was the worst meal we've ever had at any Applebee's. They brought me another burger and it was overcooked as well, but still edible. Very disappointed. They need to get a new or a different cook at this store. The server was very pleasant and apologetic and the atmosphere was nice. But we don't go out to eat for the atmosphere or the service, we go out to eat for the food. I wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy.

Chose Applebee’s for a family dinner on New Year’s Eve and seriously regretted it. We arrived around 9 PM and the restaurant was barely busy. The food was terrible. My riblets weren't even glazed on both sides. When I inquired about that they told me that they never glaze both sides. Which isn't true because I've never had them not glazed on both sides. The spinach artichoke dip was clumpy and half burned. The breadstick with my mother in laws salad was hard as a rock. The shrimp was over cooked. It was all just terrible. The waiter was nice but wasn't really attentive. My kids had to go cups from the start and they wouldn't refill them unless we wanted to pay for another drink. Just a really expensive bad experience. I wanted to speak to a manager but my in laws are in their 90's so didn't really have the opportunity or the time to do so. Especially since my original inquiry about the riblets didn't go well. Very disappointed. Don't waste your money.

Saturday 04/13/24 family of 6 ate there. After placing our order it took a long time to get our food. One person got his food after about 25 minutes of waiting. Then three more plates were brought out about 20 minutes later and then the last plate was brought out at least 20 minutes after that. Only five in our party ordered. This wasn't good service at all. When asked to speak to the manager they said he was helping cook. Lousy service. 12:20pm Saturday 13th.

After me and a friend ate there the next day we both started feeling sick to our stomachs . And now I have almost been fired because I have puked up 8 different times. Please get y’all’s shit together it ain’t that hard for a chain restaurant to be food safe

My lemonade was super sour, my food tasted horrible.. chicken was over cooked and mashed potatoes was extra dry, and the server didn’t check on us except one time to bring us our food! He didn’t check on our drinks or get us refills! I will not be going back!

The restaurant was fairly empty but we had to wait to be seated while the staff sat at a table chatting and paying more attention to their phones. The table was sticky and the oriental chicken salads were horrible. The lettuce was brown and was more core than lettuce, the chicken was hard, there were no noodles in the salad... the only good part was the tea and bread sticks....30$ plus tip wasted... We watched 2 couples leave after having to wait to be seated...all while most of the staff sat on their phones waiting for the other guy to get up and work...

Was there an hour no drinks or anyway to eat the food they brought out besides your fingers. Service was horrible should be -15 for sure won't be back after this evening very disappointed normally have food and drinks fast but tonight food came before a away to eat it or anything to drink.

Made the mistake of coming back. It's months later and had gotten worse. Much worse! Tables are sticky, can't get a refill, took for ever to even get an order placed. When it finally came it's wrong. Ordered steak and got chicken. It's not even busy, about 7 tables with people and 2 at the bar. Total waste of time and money. Drinks came right out and we ordered then. 50 min later only being checked by the waitress once we finally got our food. Who would of guessed, even after I asked her to write it down... it was wrong. Also stay away from the green beans. I would have rather eaten then raw. Steak and shrimp was good, drinks when we could get them we good, but all in all it will bea looking time before I come back.

My wife and I were seated our order taken promptly after 10-15 minutes another couple was seated at a table beside ours and in another few minutes the waitress comes to our table but did not have our food, no, it was the other couples order I heard her say to herself why did their order come up 1st ,after serving the others their food she went to the kitchen only to exit promptly with a look of disgust on her face but the kicker was she didn't bother to explain to us there was some sort of mix up she chose to attend to others leaving us in wonder after another 5-10 minutes we left without having dined or given an apology explanation or even a visit from her or any other staff. Eating good in who's neighborhood? not in Winder, Ga, for Damn sure. But hey, we did enjoy a nice meal at the Chick-fil-A down the street. It's a shame a dine in restaurant got bested by a fast food joint. Thanks for waisting my time and fuel. It won't happen twice

My food was horrible. Chicken with 3 cheese macaroni and no.three cheeses! Watered down sauce and not hot at all. Chicken straps were small and over cooked. We were told they didn't have sweet tea made and couldn't help but notice that other customers were getting it When it came time to pay our waiter stood there and watched me sign to see what his tip was. I have never had that happen before! We won't be back!

Burger was dangerously undercooked. Raw throughout, I seriously wonder how long it was on the grill. Should have been plainly obvious that it wasn't cooked. It's so raw it doesn't even hold a patty shape after I started looking into it to check after the first couple of bites.

This food was horrible and seemed like a frozen microwave dinner! One of the alcohol drinks was watered so I sent my own drink back! The tables were still dirty! Never come back!

Well we were seated, no one came to take drink orders for over 10.minutes. I tried order a blue moon, was told it stale So just got water. They took food order. Another 15 plus minutes. Got the food. No Silverware or napkins. I had to get up find a server. Who were all standing around So I ask for a manager. When I cut my streak, it was cold tough & not medium Manager did come to table 10.minutes later. She tried blaming it on help being over worked. 5 servers & only 9 tables. Then ahead offer to replace it. I finally got food after everyone on my part had completed their meal. Ended up taking it home. No one even bother to thanks us for coming. Will not return.

The atmosphere walking in was really awkward and not very welcoming. Felt like we should have turned around and left. And we definitely should have!! The service was amazing. Our server Robert was awesome. The food however was pathetic. Dry burger, burger patties literally crumbled apart, and the toppings on our burgers were scarce. My husband said his mushroom burger was trashy and not good. About the only thing they cooked that was good was my KIDS food! So basically mcdonalds standard. And for some reason I got less fries with my meal then my cold got. "Eating good in the neighborhood" is a completely false statement for this restaurant. Extremely disappointed.

I placed an Uber eats order with Applebee's and the app showed someone accepted the order but than dropped the order, the next driver went to pick up my food just to find out Applebee's let the other driver leave with the order 20 minutes prior with out confirming pick up! The Uber driver called me and told me what happened, she went back in the restaurant and they told her that they can not remake the food or give a refund! Not only did did the driver get to keep my food but Applebee's got to keep my money and I was left with nothing! Terrible customer service

I ordered online at 3:54pm an pickup time was 4:14pm for curbside i called at 4:10ish to let them know we were there however we would not b able to go threw the pickup window as we r travelling in an RV was told ok ill see if its ready n brg it right out to u we then waited 12mins past the quoted pickup time finally a young lady came out an asked what name was on the ticket i told her an she went in and we waited an additional 5 mins for her to return w our order. We were back on the road an i opened our bag so we could eat. I ordered cheese bites which i LOVEEE but got no sauce to dip. I ordered chicken wonton tacos and i have to put them together myself everything is in containers. I also got a wiskey burger which was thrown in a to go container alone the fries were in a different cup\container thg the burger is all over the container so we had to reassembl it. I was EXTREMELY disappointed.

Horrible got set down nobody came to table for 10 mins. Took drink order 7 mins to bring them and not hardly any customers. More worried about bar customers. One worker did point and asl other workers about us 3 times. Then never brought ticket had to go get it. And gave change that all the dollars was ripped. Wont be back.

I called my order in. The young lady that took my order didn't bother to let me know that the cold slaw for my wonton tacos wasn't available. I didn't get that important information until I got there to pick up my order.She wouldn't even add a cup of ice to my order,told me to just tell the person at curb side I want ice.What happened to simple customer service. Didn't enjoy wasting my money on the food.

I brought my wife in on 8-17 at around 11:20 that evening. We were sat by our sever Robert, who clearly smelt like alcohol, rudely told us the kitchen closes at 11:45 and we needed to hurry up. We ordered the 2 for 25$ and I had tea. He said after I ordered the tea and needed a refill that were no more tea then said he had to charge again for a pepsi. He told us multiple time to hurry up he got kids and we needed to again " hurry the hell up" Ms. Kristie came and took the other drink off us. Clearly didn't get to even finish our dinner. We love Applebee's but the way we were treated I don't know if we will come back for a while. I'm sorry that we work late and wanted Applebee's. I don't appreciate being rushed by Robert.

We sat at the bar. The bar tended was not nice, she wasn’t smiling; she also told use they didn’t have any clean silverware. She offered us plastic wear for bourbon chicken and shrimp. On top the worse service possible, you could tell the food sat under a food lamp - due to the chicken Alfredo’s noodles dried out and burnt on the end, and the potatoes were hard and crusty. We were the only people at the bar when we placed a drink order as well as our food. We informed the bar tender no cheese on one of the salads but it came out with it. There was two women that came after us and we had better conversation with them. By the end of the meal we had another female to join the bar. The services was so slow and (again) the bar tender was not friendly. We as also seen the bar tender wash her blender with a sign “hand washing only” sink. When we did pay the bartender didn’t even thank us for our business.

Wow, do y'all remember back in the 90s and 2000s when Applebee's used to be good?! Well, those days are over. The drinks are excellent but the food is terrible. Pictured are my overcooked and smaller than average chicken strips.
