I've had the Philly CheeseSteak and it was wonderful. My daughter really likes the Hook and Ladder. I've never eaten there only pickup and it's very convenient. Staff has been friendly.

What a great group of people working here. I do come here occasionally and it is always clean, fresh and friendly. Always a great selection of sandwiches, drinks and treats. The last time i went they were not offering a sandwich that was on promotion anymore but the ladies working that day said they could still make it for me and it was terrific. Go here for great food.

Has been really good but it has turned around. Its smokey inside , charged me full price for a fountain drink to get water , and then a few customers later they just give cups away for water . Sandwich was just a mess . I really hope they get this fixed .

I have always had great service at this location. But I walked in @ 8:30pm Friday June 20, 2025. I wasn’t met with a normal welcome to firehouse. But with a woman mopping floors. Continued into the area, notice one man making sandwiches and two others mopping behind the counter. One was walking back and forth getting items. Nobody looked up and say we will be with you in a minute. But held their heads down and continued to be busy. We wait a few minutes and walked out. As I walked out in a loud voice, “ I guess they don’t want my money and too busy mopping floors.” Honestly, I looked at the time and didn’t want to bother them if they were short on time to close. I will respect workers that want to go home on time. I have never been to this location and have been treated this way. Yes, a very busy location. But the firehouse brand is the best sub sandwich in town.

First time placing my order online here. Went to the " online orders " sign, asked about my order. Told a girl my name and she replied " no orders by that name ". I told her it was made online, the other girl replied it was on the shelf. I said thanks and got my order and left. I just thought since they just prepared my order they might know my name. Next time I know just to look on the shelf. Just went again the other day, only 2 ppl working. Every table in the place was dirty. One went on break only to use her cellphone for her entire break. My orders will be to go from now on.

If I could give a 0 star, I would. They messed up both sandwiches! I ordered the firehouse steak and cheese, as well as the Italian and that is not what I received at all! The steak and cheese has lettuce tomato onion when that doesn’t even come on it! The Italian didn’t have lettuce or onion on there. The staff were all just playing around and clearly not paying attention to what they were doing. Then, when I called to tell them about this colossal mistake, the “shift lead” told me she spoke to her workers and they said they didn’t put lettuce, tomato, onion on the steak and cheese. There isn’t even any cheese on this!!! Well, here’s your proof that whoever said that is a liar. Not only that, I wanted the Cajun seasoning on it and didn’t receive it. The “shift lead” clearly doesn’t know what she is doing either because she had a hard time even ringing up my order. I have worked at a firehouse in the past and it’s very hard to make this big of a mistake unless you are TRULY not paying attention to what you’re doing.

Came to lunch to support Firehouse sub in Texakana and experienced the rudest cashier ever! Don’t come here if your expecting good customer service! ! Way to show your appreciation to firefighter for all they do!
