First night in Torino and boy did we strike it right! Outstanding dinner in the below ground level at Osteria Nuova - had excellent renditions of a number of recognizable local specialties. It was so good that we went back for dinner on our last night!

Food was very very very yummy. We ordered a fixed menu and loved everything. The only funny/weird thing was the reservation - we used our cell to make a reservation, and we received a confusing message "it was neither confirmed nor denied". I understand Italians are taught British, but they only send the response in British (and if they also included Italian, I would have understood what they were trying to say).

For me, it was the best piemontese restaurant I've ever tried Recommend raw meat! Grissini are the best for me! Brasato is also a good choice, it's slow cooked beef with smashed potatoes at the bottom. The service was good, quiet and elegant environment. Highly recommended!

This is a great place where you can have a fantastic experience. We have been served by Giorgia and Kharima and they were truly the added value of Nuova Osteria. We had: Flan polenta integrale, fair and nice, Uovo fritto “galline felici”, excellent! Plin with Beef, I expected something better, however, very high taste and quality. Brasato with mash potatoes, simply delicious. To be tried! Tagliere di formaggi 1 barbera d’asti 1 Nebbiolo home production. Well done Guys!

Everything was great, especially the service! The menu, though was (in my opinion very limited. In the room downstairs says “Griglia”, yet the only thing grilled was the veal cheeks. Which i am not a fan. But will still recommend because of the love for service and atmosphere.

We were very tired and hungry after full day of sightseeing. The restaurant was full and I almost forced the maitre'd to give us a table. Place looked modern and elegant. But the food has deep local roots. Loved everything. My rabbit was delicious, a sause maybe a bit salty for me. Loved all the appertizers, unfortunately it was too good to leave place for dessert.
