Great food and even better service. The staff was super patient walking us through the dishes—felt thoughtful, not rushed, which I really appreciated. Flavors? Bold but balanced, with plenty of non-spicy options too (perfect for my friend who isn’t into heat). The vibe here is nice, casual but inviting. Oh, and it’s close to Disney, so convenient if you’re in the area. Solid spot for legit Sichuan cuisine.

The food here is really good and the portions are surprisingly large. The prices are also very reasonable, especially considering how much food you get. Everything we ordered tasted great and was well cooked. The staff were friendly and the service was quick and attentive. Overall it was a really nice dining experience. Great value for the money, and I would definitely come back again.

Came back to Jincheng again for this great-value set, and it really lives up to its reputation as a Michelin-listed restaurant for seven consecutive years. The quality is consistently solid, and it’s very family-friendly. We chose a mix of spicy and non-spicy dishes so everyone could enjoy. The Chengdu mala soup was aromatic but not greasy, the scallion Angus ribeye was tender and packed with flavor, and the fried rice was simple yet perfectly done—our kid loved it. The non-spicy Kung Pao chicken was mild and comforting. The purple rice mochi taro dessert was outstanding.

Came back to Sichuan Impression and loved it again. The fish filet with pickled veggie soup is a total must‑order — comforting, flavorful, and just really well done. The lemon plum sparkling water hit the spot too. Refreshing and perfect with the spicy food. Big shout‑out to Kato for being so chill and attentive. He made the whole meal even better. Can’t wait to return.

Had such a great time at Sichuan Impression! The Flaming Pork was insanely good, and the way Kato brought it out made it even more fun — he really knows how to hype up a dish. The cauliflower was another surprise favorite. Super flavorful and cooked just right. Kato was awesome the whole time — super friendly, super helpful. Definitely coming back.

Tried their wood ginger root flame-grilled pork belly—wow, the presentation caught me first. They light it up with this liquor, super cool, and the aroma hits you instantly—sweet but smoky. Pork was tender, kinda crispy edges, juicy inside. That pineapple sweet chili sauce? Oh man, perfect combo with the crunch of peppers and fresh lettuce wraps. Found this spot near Disneyland after a day out, glad I did!

Went here after a friend hyped it up—wow, they weren’t kidding! If you’re into top Sichuan cuisine, this place is the real deal. Hot Sichuan dishes with that numbing-spicy kick, but also plenty of mild options if spice isn’t your thing. Plus, 7 years in the Michelin Guide? That says it all. Super close to Disneyland too, so great spot for foodies visiting nearby.

Stopped by after hearing it’s legit Sichuan food. Oh, the aroma hits you right at the door—kind of spicy, kinda comforting. Ordered one of their hot dishes (it was fiery but just the right kick), but tbh, there’s stuff for non-spicy fans too. Close to Freeway 5, felt like a good post-Disney stop.

Came in on my own for dinner while in town for a work trip. This is right in my old neighborhood but was not here when I lived here. I wish it had been! Best kung pao I've ever had. This is kung pao done right. I ate the whole plate in one sitting because I just couldn't stop myself. Service was fine. I didn't need it to be more than what it was. And prices are fair. The place is packed and popular. Even as a party of 1 on a Sunday night, I had to wait 30 minutes, so keep that in mind. But I will definitely come back next trip to try the mapo tofu.

Oh wow, this spot was something else! I was around Alhambra, and someone mentioned it’s one of the busiest places for authentic Sichuan food. Had to check it out, obviously. Ordered a couple of their hot Sichuan dishes (you know, the real deal). One bite and I legit felt that perfect kick of spice—like, bold but not overwhelming. The flavors had this depth, you could tell they know what they’re doing. And for those who can’t handle heat? Plenty of non-spicy options too. Also, super easy to find—right near the 5 Freeway! If you’re in the area for Disneyland or whatever, it’s pretty convenient. They’ve been on the Michelin Guide for years now…yeah, I get why. This is

Oh man, this place. So I was near Disney, just wandering around with friends, and someone mentioned "authentic Sichuan food." Couldn’t resist—Sichuan cuisine is like my weakness. Tried their hot dishes, ngl, the spice hit *just right*. It’s not just about the heat; it’s the layers, you know? Like that deep, kinda smoky chili flavor mixed with the numbing kick. Ugh, I could go on. Also, heads up, they’ve got non-spicy options too (my friend isn’t big on heat and was fine). Apparently, they've been here 11 years? That explains a lot—the flavors felt so... polished? Anyway, if you’re ever in Irvine or Rowland Heights (super close to 5 Freeway btw), this is worth stopping for.

Oh man, this place. Okay, so I’ve been craving some legit Sichuan food for a while, and my friend was like, “You *have* to try this spot by the 5 Freeway, near Disneyland.” And wow, they weren’t kidding. The flavors here? Intense. Like, proper Sichuan—spicy, numbing, but balanced in this really addictive way. You know that tingly heat? Yeah, that. But also, they’ve got options if you’re not into spicy stuff (which is wild for a Sichuan place but works). What really got me was how fresh everything tasted and just how *right* it all felt—like someone’s grandma was involved in the kitchen or something. It’s no wonder they’ve been chilling on the Michelin guide for seven years straight. Seven! Oh, also learned they’ve been around for 11 years... that explains the whole “polished but down-to-earth” vibe. Honestly, from 罗兰岗 to 尔湾, this spot is kind of a gem if Sichuan is your thing.

If you’re into top Sichuan cuisine, this spot is a total gem! A friend hyped it up as their parents' favorite place for authentic Sichuan food, and wow, they weren't wrong. The flavors? Insane. Think layers of spice, that perfect balance of 麻 (numbing) and 辣 (spicy). Oh, and I can see why it’s been a Michelin Guide pick for 7 years straight! Whether you love the heat or prefer mild options, they’ve got you covered. Plus, it’s so close to Disneyland—how convenient is that? Definitely worth the hype.

We were near Disneyland and decided to check out this place for dinner after hearing about it from friends. Wow, the flavors—just hit you. The spice, but not overwhelming, felt balanced somehow. You know when the food just... speaks to your soul? That was it. Service was quick, no long waits even though it seemed busy. Oh, and for my friend who doesn’t do spicy, they had non-spicy options too—so that worked well. Near the freeway too, so easy to find. Real deal Sichuan food here. Legit vibes. Seven years on the Michelin Guide? Yeah, I get why now.

Stopped by this spot with a friend after hearing so many good things—wow, it didn’t disappoint! The fish with rattan pepper. Absolute game-changer. Perfect balance of spice and flavor, super fresh too. They’ve got the classic hot Sichuan dishes but also some milder options if spicy isn’t your vibe.Really close to the freeway, super convenient.

11-year hotspot for sure! My friend swore by this place, so we checked it out after a Disneyland trip. Legit flavors—spicy dishes pack a punch, but there’re non-spicy options too. Super close to the 5 freeway, so convenient.

Stopped by this place after my friend couldn’t stop raving about their authentic Sichuan food, and wow, I get the hype now! The flavors are legit, like burst-in-your-mouth spicy and so satisfying. If you’re into hot Sichuan dishes, this is definitely the spot—parents’ favorite too, especially since there are good non-spicy options. Super close to the freeway and Disney, so convenient for a quick bite.

Found this spot thanks to a friend, and wow, what a gem! If you’re into hot Sichuan dishes, this place really hits the mark. The flavors are bold, authentic, and packed with that perfect mix of spice and tingle. Even my parents, who are super picky about authentic Chinese food, loved it. Plus, they’ve got plenty of non-spicy options too, which is a nice touch for everyone to enjoy. Conveniently close to the 5 Freeway and Disneyland—totally worth stopping by!

I absolutely love the Sichuan food here. I normally order deep fried intestine, boiled fish rattan pepper, chili bamboo shoots, kung pao chicken, steamed chili oil chicken, and lamb skewer. Our server Situ is also very funny and kind. We tried their new dessert which is taro, mochi, and purple rice and it was very good. Not too sweet but perfectly sweetened.

We ordered BeanJelley, Lamb noodle soup, stir-fried sprouts, and wok-fried kidney. Size is small but just fine for four of us. Food is quite delicious but salty for me. Will come back trying other stuff.

Sichuan Impression offers a convenient combo option where you simply choose from the set menu, and the food comes out incredibly fast. I’m guessing it’s because they prepare a lot of it in bulk, especially the fish dishes. The fish itself was tasty and well-seasoned, definitely the highlight of the meal. It’s not a “wow” or over-the-top dining experience, but for a quick, flavorful bite that hits the spot, it’s worth a solid 4 stars.
