Great place! I go often with my kids for dinner (my oldest loves the garlic bread grilled cheese), trivia, karaoke, and of course - axe throwing. Amazing service from a crew of friendly staff. My now go to place on the weekends when I’m looking for some adult fun, they seem to always have something going on! So thankful Ukiah finally has a venue that offers a variety of activities at an affordable cost. :)

Really happy a place like this opened in Ukiah. They're always offering events for the community. They try to incorporate a different event almost every night of the week and some of them are family friendly! Plus they're great about coming up with new drinks and listening to suggestions. A while back I recommended they install purse hooks at the bar and next time I came in, there they were! They currently have my favorite drink in town, on par with the ones at Patrona (the Mexicali). Between the axe throwing, pool/other games, dance floor, shows, and community events I find myself coming here more than anywhere else.

I love this place and their creative menu! It can be a little too loud to have a conversation so don't go there for conversation .... probably not a solid choice for a first date for example. It's a fun place to go with friends - shoot a few games of pool, sing karaoke and throw sharp dangerous objects while consuming alcohol! Great place during the day or evening! Friendly service as well!

This experience was AMAZING!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! When I'm in NorCal again. I hope to visit!!! Staff was very nice!!

The Thirsty Axe is one of my favorite places to go have a drink and have fun. I love throwing axes, but it’s also a great place to view live music and hang out with your friends. They now have a full bar as well, and the grilled cheese sandwiches are one of my favorite “cheat” treats! The owners are also some of the kindest people you’ll ever meet😁

O my goodness!!!! .. I took one of my dearest girlfriends, and we had a blast!!! We had a drink, & rocked out to Mickey Avalon. The service was great. We will be going there again when they have the bands I like.. This is the only kool thing to do in Mendo 💕💕💕

Ukiah definitely needed an awesome place like this!! The environment is instantly open and inviting... The live band was very very loud!!! They have an upstairs pool table with a view of the stage very clean n nice. We played pool for an hour but the cost was $10. In my opinion they need a waitress to pick up the dirty cups and wipe chairs and tables down... Only one bathroom.... It was a blast listening to everyone karaoke 🎤. Even a few younger kiddos got to enjoy the stage and sing their hearts out. The drinks are very expensive so leave a bottle or drink in your car.... 😂 Will definitely be going again!!!

The beer and alcohol selection offers a variety of options for the descerning and rugged palates. The pool tables have been releveled and refelted downstairs and are the best in town.

The owners are absolutely amazing! We had such a great time playing the games and competing against each other. The food was delicious 😋 and had gluten free bread! If you haven't been, you are missing out.

Went for their first game—pool is free with the purchase of a drink, and it was an amazing time! The atmosphere was great, with multiple pool tables to choose from. The drinks were just okay, but overall, it was a fun experience.

The service was outstanding and well-informed to help with choices. The axe throwing was a new experience, and even though it took a few rounds to adjust, both my wife and I got the hang of it in no time, plus we really enjoyed it. They also have great live music so it's really a spot I highly recommend.

This is the first of this type of entertainment for this small city. It's fun to even just watch people huck axes into the wall. Cute games to play on it too like tic tac toe. The selection of Truly is larger than anywhere else in town (sorry no opinion on beer, I don't drink it) which is pretty cool. There's pool up and down stairs. The wait can feel long but theres plenty of seating to do that. Music is always nice and the staff are all well known locals who are kind and easy going. The place is a good choice to just hang out at.

Really fun! Definitely going here again, they had a live band at the time and around 5 or 6 different little mini games involving throwing axes,i hate to say the food is expensive, and you get a HANDFUL of fries (there is 2 other options if i remember correctly but we got fries) as a side, im not gonna lie, i was dissapointed with the 30$ we spent on two fancy grilled cheeses with a small amount of meat if you call it that...i really didnt taste any actual chicken it seemed to be just chicken fat (this was the chicken pesto), I do have to say It was really cool how you can order your food and drink without leaving your "axe lane" no app needed either. I have to say they have really awesome and great friendly customer service... you can leave or start a new game anytime within your time slot, meaning you have control over what game you play and there is a keyboard and mouse for control. Its a projecter that is pointed to a big piece of wood at the end of the "axe lane", you just pay for a slot of time, 25$ for 75 minutes. Had an awesome time! But i learned this time that im definitely eating before coming here again, i would have rated it 5 stars but that is just too expensive for the food in my opinion. All in all i must say thank you for supplying some fun here in ukiah!

This place is FUN!!! love throwing axes. They have high tech games in axe throwing where you can hit zombies!!! They have a lil kitchen that serves good fresh pub grub ! Pool tables and live music. I'll be back.

A mixed of different types of generations singing in the karaoke. We play billard pool for 3 hours. Cocktail drinks are reasonably priced

Lots of fun, the bands that played were awesome. Drinks were reasonably priced for a bar/restaurant Axe throwing lanes looked like fun but did not participate.

I'm not sure how to respond to your question other than we we're hoping for more diverse menu, and no construction going on inside when brought our toddler in and we should have called ahead to learn more of the food that was downtown because we ended up going to a restaurant that was on their last day open and although their service was good their food wasn't, and the pizza place only had takeout so we were looking for a warm place to sit and feed our little one with calm atmosphere. I am however offering four stars because they were very kind in offering a return on the second hour of ax throwing when we clearly couldn't use it that evening and I hope they offer tutorials for first time customers.

We were visiting from out of state. I grew up in Ukiah and had great memories of karaoke as a young person and brought my partner who has never been to Ukiah before and my mom and sister. The bar itself is a nice space. Lots of pool tables. Love the concept of the axe throwing. Ok drinks and good bartender. The cocktails are awesome. My sister got a lavender lemon drop and it was beautiful. The karaoke was somewhat disappointing (Sorry). We are karaoke regulars in Eugene Oregon where we live and I admit we are spoiled. We never got to sing while the same people went up again and again. I understand the KJ is likely not a professional which is fine but I would be willing to give some suggestions of how to make a rotation if someone wants email me because I would love to come back when we come to visit again. It has potential! I did love that folks could bring their kids to sing.

The trivia MC started only 20 minutes later than they state on their fb page. Milk that Pliny because you’re in for a long night. If you go, please keep your expectations low.

Sadly One guy seemed in charge of Karaoke song requsets and my group of 7 waited an hour and a half only to find out we couldnt have fun singing due to closing time . Drunk regulars got to sing multiple times . Owners must like only having twenty regulars and not more customers . too bad

We rented 2 axe throwing courts and spent hours drinking. Suddenly one of the waitresses didn't want to serve us anymore because we didn't have a physical passport. We showed it in a photo but she wouldn't accept it in any way and told us to leave or she would call the police. She treated us in a degrading and racist way because we weren't Americans. We couldn't finish the game with 30 minutes left. It's a disgraceful place, totally inadvisable. I put 1 star because i can’t put 0.

One person serving a room of people such a hard task witch she still did her job well, but she needs help, Food was great service sucked only cuase she was pretty much by her self doing everything and the place was loud in an extreme annoying way ppl doing bear challenges throwing up while your trying to order food is just wierd, With proper management this place can easily be a place where u keep going back,
