This place was amazing. Food was delicious and service was amazing. Tony, made my experience wanting me to come back for brunch. Thank you Tony, for being amazing and giving my party an amazing service and experience. The jalapeño breads, the steak, lobster, carbonara, fried chicken and desserts delicious. Omg, I forgot about the Brussels sprouts and garlic fries wow. You guys must try and ask for Tony. My daughter 18th birthday was celebrated with the best. Thank you once again. Atmospheres amazing.

Hailey from Seattle was an amazing server. She knew the menu and gave details on each item we had questions on. She checked in often and was very polite. Food was flavorful and good sized portions. Highly recommend!

Had brunch here today. Reserved a table for 8 and where seated immediately. Food was really good and the mimosas where delicious. I had the steak frites and it was a bit spicy, really good. Ask had the flatbread for appetizer and it was really great. Will definitely return.

The ambience is so beautiful and the music selection is great. I brought my sister here for her birthday and she loved all the food! Highly recommend the garlic fries and the lobster scampi! Martin our server was so helpful and friendly as well. I’m looking forward to coming back another time

The food here is phenomenal! If you stay at the Hilton definitely grab dinner here one night. They have specialty drinks and amazing dinner options. We even took dessert back to our room for later!

This is a place to definitely come back to visit due to the attention to detail to having you as a client .Hailey our fabulous waitress was phenomenal from the first second she introduced herself to us she was fully dedicated to giving us the best experience ever. I truly enjoyed this place and the food never came short of one of the best tasting dishes I've ever tasted. Not to mention the decorations and the theme including their drinks and one of my favorite ones is the tropical crush margaritas. Great experience will definitely visit again.

I had such a beautiful experience with our server Tony! The food was amazing. I got the Surf n turf omelette and A delicious margarita! This is definitely the cherry on top of my experience in Cali!

An absolutely lovely place for brunch lunch or dinner a dinner with beautiful views of studio city. I had My daughter's bridal shower branch Here and everything was absolutely perfect. The food was delicious and the bottomless mimosas were perfect.

Best restaurant in the world! Came here for my daughter’s bday and they gave us a yummy cake. We had a great experience here and would stay at the hotel to eat here again if they have brunch! Beautiful restaurant

My good friend and I reserved a table two weeks in advance, where we got lucky to be seated at one of the fire pits! Perfect for a chilly Friday night. Our server, Julien, was very kind, attentive, and gave great recommendations based on our tastes. The manager, Carlos, also made the night a very fun one with his charming personality and humor. Would recommend to get 3-4 plates to share; chef's charcuterie special aligned really well with our drinks.

We went here for a lovely date night and the tacos were some of the best that I’ve ever had. My husband and I each got the margarita sampler as well as the taco one, the tortillas were absolutely divine and the views were beautiful. Highly recommend this spot for anyone who loves a delicious meal with fantastic views, the live music was a lovely touch.

Amazing service and food. I have lots of food allergies and they were AMAZING! Ryan took my allergy and figured out wjat the chef could make for me. They were so kind! I will definitely come back here. Also, the drinks are so fabulous!

Gentle guitar music with incredible food is sure to set the mood for a great dinner. Food was excellent and server was nice.

We dined in for the happy hour menu today. All of us enjoyed flatbreads and the wine flights. This is great spot for a sunset dinner as it has a great view of the hillside. Our waiter Martin was super accommodating and friendly. Would love to come back again.

The aesthetic was amazing of course although I did not enjoy the food as much, and our server could’ve been a tad bit nicer. I still enjoyed the time we spent here, amazing views!!!

Came here for a friend's birthday and the ambiance is great. We stayed longer than we had planned (like 3 hrs) and our drinks were tasty and strong, food was flavorful and fresh (We tried almost everything on the menu). I recommend the flatbread, charcuterie board, truffle fries, brussel sprouts, bone marrow plate and lamb chops. Perfect for a girls night out, date or birthday. Amir the chef and Francisco the waiter were amazing! Amir's attention to detail is why I would come back to eat here. The fries were nice and crispy, the lamb chop very tender, the flatbread nice and toasty; everything had FLAVOR. The drinks were STRONG (I'm not complaining) yet had the fruity flavor balance we girls love. I would 100% recommend Five on The Hill to anyone who wants to have a good time.

Excellent views! Good Sunday brunch! Bottomless mimosas! I got the cayenne chicken & Waffles, great flavor! Make sure you if you park in the garage you validate your parking ticket and save some $

Went on Wednesday around 6:30pm and it was perfect timing to catch the sunset. Also they had a great guitar musician playing that helped to set the mood. It was like I was transported to another place. I did feel like I was in LA anymore. The drinks were yummy. I really enjoyed my visit. I will come back.

This restaurant has delicious food! We ordered 3 meals and an appetizer. The braised beef dish was outstanding, actually, the best braised beef dish I have ever eaten! Everything was very favorable and beautiful. We enjoyed it all. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Beautiful spot. Food was fine, but drinks were fine. They validate parking, which was under $9 for our 2 hour stay. Don't worry about the hotel hourly parking rates. Also plus for no tipping policy.

This was my 1st time here and it was decent. I had excellent service from Mayan, she was friendly and helpful. The views were not that great compared to how I thought it would be. I saw mostly trees and views of the hotel pool. The menu did have more options than I thought... they just weren't listed. I did not realize this restaurant is apart of the hotel and you could order sides(eggs, sausage, etc). I order the pumpkin seed crusted chicken with corn polenta. The plate was pretty, meat was flavorful but the dish was not very filling. I also ordered the mango madness, BEST DRINK EVER!

We came here to celebrate our New Yorker niece’s birthday, who went to Universal during the day so we ended up looking for a decent restaurant near the area. We were a party of 18, and overall was OK for our group size. The place had Instagrammable ambience, however, the food was just mediocre. Our waiter was just OK. He made a mistake in one of our orders and instead of apologizing, he made it sound like it was our fault. He ended up correcting it in the end. There was a valet parking available from the hotel nearby , but I didn’t realize that there was also a self parking which would have been cheaper available.

The ambience of the restaurant was beautiful. The flowers are gorgeous. The lobster Benedict was one of the best I’ve ever had. Service from Tony was about 3.5 was quick however we had bottomless mimosa and towards the end he disappeared for about 30 minutes when he brought the fixings for the Mimosas he did Not identified the flavors although it’s on the menu the server usually identifies the flavors that they see before us.

The food and cocktails were very unique and delicious. The atmosphere was cozy and festive for the holiday season. The service was a bit slow but it was Christmas Day so possibly the restaurant was understaffed.

Lovely restaurant! A little confusing on where to go, and it’s located in a parking lot. But nonetheless the food was yummy and the sunset was nice during the evening. The ribs and the gnocchi was really tasty and the staff were friendly too. It’s a perfect location next to Universal so I recommend it!

This place is an ingenious idea to make use of a parking lot. Hilton turned the side of their parking lot into a little quaint mini restaurant. It would have been a cafe if not for the upgraded decor. The food was actually very good. I was expecting expensive and okay tasting food but boy was I wrong! It was actually decent pricing and very tasty food. I'm only giving it a 4-star because the menu was limited. A MUST try!

Mood was good, the scenery was amazing. Time our food took was too long, by the time it got to us it was cold. Great for kids and date night. Valet parking is $15

The place was ok. First getting here with Google maps gets you lost. Lol Go through to the Hilton Hotel the restaurant is across the front entrance of the Hotel. There is self-parking and valet. Kind pricey for 2 and bottomless, about 159$ that's including a no tip mandatory 15% restaurant fee. Bottomless mimosas were good. My favorite was the passion fruit and peach I think. Lavender was ok. The food I ordered chicken and waffles and I was slightly disappointed. Not much flavor on the chicken just red powder, not spicy. My sister ordered steak and eggs with chimichurri. That was ok meat. Service was ok and reservations recommended.

Went to FIVE on the Hill for Mother's Day 2024. A beautiful atmosphere with friendly service that lacked the basics. Coffees and iced tea were empty for more than 5 minutes AFTER asking. Sweeteners for coffee and had to literally be chased down. The food was very good and beautifully presented. However, the Avocado Toast was inexplicably served without the egg and it took too long to arrive after being brought to the attention of the runner. The server asked if we would like to see the dessert menus and my sister requested one. The server brought a menu, but it did not list desserts. There was a live performer singing background music. Her voice was excellent and song selections were appropriate to a Sunday Brunch. She was a pleasant highlight to what was otherwise a disappointing afternoon that did not do the atmosphere or occasion justice.

The sangria was the best I've had in a long time! It got sweeter the more I drank it. I had the prosciutto flatbread which was okay, not something I would order again. The steak frites was delicious though.We did have dinner here but I will return for taco Tuesdays! Finding this spot was a little tricky but we got help from the Hilton staff (thank you!) Check it out cuz why not?

It has a lovely view. A very Los Angeles one. It was extremely warm the evening I was there and my white wine was served room temperature. For such a pricey glass of wine, I would expect it to be cold. The tacos were OK, definitely overpriced. You’re paying for the view. But technically the restaurant is sitting in a parking lot. if you’re stuck at the hotel like I was, it’s not a bad option. If you can go somewhere else I would do that.

We went for this place for my birthday but we had to face discrimination for our order. We ordered margarita flight and it came in a different and cheap looking glasses. I really felt bad regarding this as I had to experience something like this on my birthday. The people next to our table got exactly the same glasses like they show on their page and everywhere else but we got these cheap glasses and when we asked them they said the don’t have those glasses anymore and we saw those glasses served to the table where they came after we joined. The place is nice but I felt discriminated.

It was Mother's Day and my friends and I came to congratulate each other. The atmosphere and service were good, but the food was just of terrible quality, we didn't enjoy the food...

The view was beautiful especially on sunset. We ordered 3 drinks all of them were very good. The service was good as well. But the food wasn't good at all. How difficult is to make some good food? The price was too high for the quality and the taste of their food!

FIVE on the Hill: A Disappointing Experience When we booked a reservation at FIVE on the Hill, we were excited by the marketing and the promise of a nice dinner during our stay. Unfortunately, the reality fell far short of our expectations. First, let's talk about the location and ambiance. The "restaurant" is essentially an outdoor dining area set up in the hotel's parking lot, with views of the arrival area and a busy highway. It's more like a large, temporary tent than an actual restaurant. We were surprised to learn that the food isn't cooked on-site. Instead, it's prepared in the hotel's main kitchen and then carried through the lobby and across the parking lot to get to your table. Once you see this process, you can't unsee it, and it really detracts from the dining experience. The one bright spot of our evening was our server, Reva. She was excellent—nice, efficient, and informative. She was a pleasure to talk to and was great about answering all our questions about the menu. Unfortunately, the food itself was a letdown. We only ordered two dishes: the crab cakes and the bread dish. The crab cakes were too soft and a bit soggy, and the bread dish was so drenched in oil that it was nearly inedible. Our waiter noticed we weren't eating it and, without us even asking, proactively took it off our bill, which we greatly appreciated. After that, we decided to leave. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. We feel it's important to share this review so others are aware of what to expect before they book a reservation here.

Food and drink was average, service was great, biggest complaint was the 15% facility fee or whatever they call it. This doesn’t go to the servers, the small print at the bottom says it’s a non tipping facility BUT they charge you a 15% “fee” that goes to the hotel ?!? I can’t get over how wrong this is on so many levels. This isn’t all of California, seems to be specific to the hotel. Greedy and wrong

My family and I dined here after a long day of travel while staying at the Hilton. The initial service was quick with water, but after that, it went downhill. We waited about 10 minutes for our waiter to take our drink order and another 15 minutes for our drinks. I ordered the surf-n-turf skewers, and my kids had a cheeseburger and chicken tenders. After waiting over 30 minutes for our food, the skewers were excessively salty and tough, so I returned them after one bite. The chicken tenders were overcooked and hard. My daughter also had to wait an extra 10 minutes for mayonnaise that she requested for her burger. We still ended up paying over $100 (for drinks), after the waiter took the meals off our bill. Save your time and money—this restaurant’s food and service are not worth it. On the plus side, the drinks and the ambience were cute.
