Everything about this place was outstanding! We came here after hearing there was a 1.5-hour wait at another steakhouse, and it turned out to be the best decision of the night. Our server **Kendell** was fantastic — super attentive without hovering and made us feel completely taken care of. The **cocktails** (Strawberry Margarita and Cadillac Margarita) were perfectly made and absolutely hit the spot. We ordered **two 16oz Prime Ribs and one Filet**, and all three were cooked to perfection. The **salad bar** was fresh, well-stocked, and honestly one of the highlights of the meal. Hats off to the entire team for such a great dining experience. We’ll definitely be coming back soon. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a classic steakhouse done right!

I think our servers name was Angie. She provided the best service and made the birthday girls night a special one. Very attentive. We didn't have to ask for refills and the other things we asked for she brought promptly.Will definitely go back!

We had such a wonderful experience at Cask 'n Cleaver thanks to our server, Stephanie! From the moment we sat down, she was warm, attentive, and made everything so easy. She went above and beyond to make our friend’s birthday celebration special, and handled splitting our checks flawlessly (which is always such a big help!). The service truly made our night—thank you, Stephanie, for making it such a great experience!

Our server, Trisha, was immediately amazing. We had a 4 year old and 4 month old at the table, and Trisha made sure to manage their needs, and also acknowledge my sister's birthday. She even upgraded our dessert and included a birthday candle when she saw we had birthday cards on the table! She noticed the Chipotle chicken sandwich was too spicy for my dad. He did try to eat as much as he could, not wanting to cause a fuss, but she noticed and removed it from the final bill. Very good service and great food. We made reservations for 5pm, which was a great idea, as it did get busy pretty quickly for a Wednesday night. The salad bar is great, especially for the price. Will be back for that fudge in the mudpie again!! 🤩

First time here: Had reservations for 7pm, showed up at 615pm and the hostess found a seat for me and my date promptly. Service was great and present throughout our stay, and the manager even checked on us during dessert. We had 8oz top sirloins with sauteed mushrooms and onions, mashed pot, baked pot, broccoli and green beans. Food was so hot, and topped it off with Lemon Cake. Go there! I want to come back to try the drinks and more steak: place and people are cozy and warm.

This is my first visit and definitely not my last. If you are looking for Steak or Ribs, this is the place. It has been at it's location since 1967, but it is truly a hidden gem. The building and decor are dated, but it adds to the charm of this restaurant. We were served by Ellie and she was great, very personable and nice. I ordered the Rib Eye and my girlfriend got the baby back ribs, I honestly couldn't say which was better. Very good experience and I can't wait to go back. Thank you Ellie and Martin.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by mistake but after seeing how busy it was, we decided to stay in spite of the long wait time. We were seated much sooner than the estimated wait time and then the food surpassed all expectations. I ordered prime rib and it was the most tender and delicious steak I ever had. I was there with family celebrating my birthday. The wait was a bit long, but we expected it. That was no problem at all. Atmosphere was nice and the bar was on it. The food was good, but next time no nacho cheese on my baked potato. Yuk. I mixed it in well and managed to eat it. Didn't want to bother the waitress. I'm gonna keep going back. I like the place.

Food, the steak, was excellent. Service was a bit slow for a few reasons which also had to deal with the atmosphere, was there was a Dodger event which was very crowded and slowed service and a bit loud but other wise very good all around. The banquet room was a bit musky smelling but the food and service was very good.

We went to have our staff Christmas dinner party this year for work. It's a great restaurant, there are plenty of seating plenty of parking spaces. The staff is very helpful and friendly, customer service is great. The food is fantastic. I had the filet mignon and salad from the salad bar. The salad bar was fully stacked, for being a salad bar there was a nice variety of choice's and all you can eat. The filet mignon was one of the best steak's I have ever had, it was a nice size and very filling, the mashed potatoes were amazing as well. Definitely worth what you pay for. I recommend eating here for sure.

Went with my family for a birthday celebration. Our waitress was excellent and did a great job of checking in and getting us things. That being said, it took forever to get our food. Like over 40 mins, and we all shared so it wasn’t a whole lot of plates. It was good overall. Bummer was the cheese bread, it was hard and cold, but we took the L and enjoyed the free bread they give each table. I would go back. Perhaps not with a larger party.

In town on a business trip and looking up seafood restaurants online I found cask n cleaver so I came in to give it a try. I ordered an old fashioned to drink and it was so good I decided to order another. To eat I started with the house salad with vinaigrette, it was very nice and I appreciated the dressing cup brimming slightly over, I like a lot of dressing. For my main I ordered the salmon blackened with asparagus. All of the food and drink was very good except the asparagus, could of been cooked just a tad longer and used a slight bit more butter, it was just a tad dry for me but that could be my personal preference, it was still cooked well. What I cannot emphasize enough is the speed of service, I sat at the bar and had to wait a little for the bar tender to get to me but once she did, my drink was up and the food was our very very quickly, almost surprisingly quickly. Definitely recommend stopping by here if your from out of town, and if you’re a local…. Why was it so slow?? I dined on a Monday night and it was a bit quiet, give them a try :)

Was very excited to find a Cask...had not been to one in years, as the one near us closed some time ago. Was able to get reservations on a Saturday night. Was seated promotly and drink/appetizer orders were taken quickly. Bread/butter was brought to the table with drinks. Appetizers came out maybe 10 minutes later, artichoke was slightly undercooked, but had good flavor. Mushrooms were tasty. Dinner order taken when appetizers came out. Each of us ordered a different steak. One person in our party got the salad bar (which is very reasonably priced at $5.95 to add to a meal, and had a lot to choose from) The rest of us just ordered a dinner salad (only $3.95 as an add-on with our dinners). Dinner salads were brought fairly quickly. Fresh ingredients, good salads. Once they were finished, it took probably another 30-40 minutes for the entrees to come out. All steaks and sides had good flavor, cooked as ordered;however, not the most quality cuts of meat. Filet mignon had grissle and fat in it, so it was probably the end cut of the tenderloin. Ribeye was thin but flavorful. Top sirloin was good with minimal fat. Prices were reasonable, so can't really complain. We will go again to try it and see if we have the same exoerience. Server was friendly and attentive, it was just a bad night for kitchen to get orders out promptly.

No sweet tea, the lemonade was water, my friend's steak was ordered medium, but was medium rare. It was burned on the outside and raw on the inside. No sweet potatoes and my other friend received a hoagie/sub roll for their steak sandwich. The menu didn't really specify that tiny fried onion sticks come with the meal. The selection of sides was lacking also. The service was great! Our waitress was super nice and the guy who delivered our food was also really nice. The dessert was HUGE, so a disclaimer when ordering would be a plus. ONE slice can literally feed 4 people. But the mud pie was delish!! I liked that the bar was on a separate side than the restaurant. It was different but good.

It took about 10 minutes for the server to greet the table. The server was very pleasant. Our party ordered appetizers and drinks. My husband ordered a double mango IPA. It was not an IPA. The server kindly took the beer back to the bar and brought another type. After the appetizers, our salads arrived. They were very good. Then the main courses arrived. However, the salad plates and appetizer plates were not removed. This was unacceptable. You removed the dirty plates before setting the main courses down. Two people in our party ordered steak and were pleased with the flavors. I ordered lobster because a family member recommended it. The size was maybe 6 oz. and cost $41.00. I was disappointed with the size for the price. Thankfully, it was flavorful. The atmosphere has changed over the years. The Cast and Cleaver used to be a bit more upscale. Sadly, it is no longer especially for the price of the dinner. This was my husband's first visit, and he asked that we don't go back. He was not pleased and felt rushed. We actually were there maybe 1 hour and 10 minutes whuch for the money we spent, it should have been 2 hours. It makes me very sad because I have lovely memories from all the years I have eaten there. And I do have to agree with my husband, we won't return.

My husband’s Salmon was plain, dry and overcooked. My prime rib was ordered medium rare. It arrived dry and well-done in 2 pieces. I would have asked for a new piece, but we had waited so long for inattentive service that our dinner took 2 hours. So, we didn’t want to wait any longer. My lobster tail was good and a good sized. I’ll never again order a gin martini with well gin. It was undrinkable. I thought a well gin at CnC would be a higher quality. Our past experiences have been so much better. We chose CnC for a special night out. What a disappointment. I hate to say it, but this was a waste of time and $. Sadly, We’ll go somewhere else in the future. We had reservations more than a week ahead. We should have requested a booth but weren’t offered that option.
