El servicio es espectacular, Jessica era muy amable! Hemos comido en la terraza que está en una pequeña calle donde vienen muchos músicos. Hemos pasado una noche muy buena allí.

¡La comida fue deliciosa! La ropa vieja y los platános maduros fueron nosotros favoritos. Nuestra camarera fue muy amable y paciente, y el sitio por fuera, aunque nada del otro mundo y la gente de la calle pasa muy cerca de la mesa, es acogedor. Totalmente recomendado.

La comida estaba excelente, no se si es la paella más tradicional, pero si que estaba muy buena, la ropa vieja, me encantó. Además el. Camarero era muy atento y sonriente, siempre a disposición y con rapidez.

Restaurante muy céntrico de comida caribeña y mediterránea. El servicio y atención al cliente de 10, eran muy majos y atentos. El local acogedor, un poco oscuro y con música de ambiente. La comida riquísima!!! Fui con mi pareja y pedimos una degustación de tapas caribeñas (aunque también eran Mediterráneas) nuestros favoritos fueron los nachos con guacamole y la croqueta de jamón, buenísimo!! Y como platos principales el burrito y el pollo acompañado con arroz. No sabria decir cual estaba mas bueno. También hacen cocteles de la casa, y además nos invitaron a chupitos. Me encantó, recomendado 100%

Todo muy bueno y muy bien cocinado. El trato es muy amable y correcto y el servicio rápido. El local también está muy bien y es tranquilo, con música ambiente. Los precios acorde con lo que se come, aunque alguna bebida es algo cara y los cócteles también, que aunque están buenos, decepciona un poco que sean hechos con zumos y no frutas, además de que estarían más buenos y justificado su precio. Por todo lo demás, genial.

Es un lugar sobresaliente por dónde se lo mire. La atención súper amable y cálida, la comida exquisita y el servicio muy rápido. Es un lugar para volver y disfrutar de todo lo que propone.

One of the best restaurants in Valencia. The best Paella in the city. My thanks to the staff, especially to Fatima, who get me inside to try the food. A Colombian young man (Sorry I forgot his name) offered me the best services. So lovely people, so good food. Fatima also helped me to find the best way to the airport. I spent 10 days in Valencia and I am so sorry I found this restaurant and visited it thanks to Fatima just a few hours before my flight back home. But next time for sure. Yaser Daniel

I loved this restaurant. Coming from Miami I was looking for good Cuban food and they had options. They serve both Caribbean and Mediterranean food. I ordered the Babalu mixto and it was superb. It’s a pretty big dish so you can even share. We had the pitcher of mojito. And then some good coffee (cortado) to finish. Eleanora was very attentive. We will be back :)

A MUST GO! Just so tasty! I rarely post reviews but while I was eating the paella I saw people going to nearby restaurants that seemed to be more like tourist traps. This paella made me want to eat slower because it was so tasty, i didn’t want it to end!!!! Soooo well seasoned, flavorful and if you ask for a lemon it’s the freshest food after a day of walking around the city! Truly fascinated by how well it tasted and will come back! And on a side note, the employees are great as well. It’s feels more like friends working together than some strangers. Overall very positive vibe, haven’t felt this in a long time in a restaurant! A must go!!!

Friendly service! Happy hour deal until 20:00. The vegetarian paella was really good and filling. Several street musicians came by to play, creating a nice atmosphere eating on the street.

The Valencian Paella here is one of the best I have tasted in my trip to Valencia in terms of flavour, but unfortunately it was too salty. Note to owner, if you can maintain the flavour but make it less salty, you will have a winner! The service here was excellent. We were served by a young lady with hair tied in a pigtail that with length to her waist. She was attentive, pleasant and deliver very good customer service. Highly recommend this place and would have given it a 5 star if paella is just a touch less salty.

Kind personnel and very good service. In the street there are constantly street artists, this makes the atmosphere. We had the paella valenciana, which tasted great however it could have used some more meat. Overall great place and definitively would recommend!

They offer a wide variety of Spanish and Mediterranean dishes. We tried the paella and patatas bravas—both were delicious, with the paella being especially good and served in generous portions. While it may not be the best paella in town, it’s definitely worth trying if you’re in the mood for a solid meal

One of the best restaurants I've been to in all of Spain! Hats of both to the chef and the attentive waiters who were true professionals of their craft. Delicious food and Sangria, great but not overwhelming choice of Tapas made us try almost all of them and they were just delightful. I especially recommend the meatballs!

El sitio está bien, se nota que era una casa antigua y no le han hecho excesivas reformas pero tampoco tiene ningún tipo de ambientación si es lo que buscáis. La comida en sí está bien, los entrantes muy buenos y la comida ya no tanto. Referente al servicio hay algunos más agradables que otros. Sobre el precio la verdad lo veo un poco alto para que no entre el postre o café.

Debo de resaltar la atención del camarero que lleva un mostacho, estuvo bastante bien, la comida estuvo genial pero sugiero como cocinero que al guacamole le coloquen más sal y limón, estuvo un poco soso, de resto estuvo todo genial.

Had a great time here! Food was the best I had in Spain so far. And guys, try the cheesecake here! It's mind-blowing! Also the waiters are really nice! Came back the next day for paella. We had a vegetarian and a seafood paella. This was unfortunately not the best so wouldn't recommend to order it here. Go for the Caribbean deliciousness!

The Babalu restaurant is a simple buy nice place to eat typical food in Valencia. There is internal and external tables in a narrow street in the old city. The service is really good, we haven't a reservation but the gentile Jessica waitress handle the situation very well to sit us down less than 5 minutes. The paella was not spectacular but good.

Casi dos horas esperando la paella, llegué a las 14hs. Son las 15.46 y el lugar está vacío, cuando llegué estaba lleno de gente. No vuelvo nunca más. Los mozos muy amables y atentos, pero más de una hora y media para una paella cuando no hay nadie en el lugar, me parece una barbaridad. No tengo ni ganas de comer ya.

Stay away to avoid disappointment! No comparison to other places to have dinner in the area, and the staff were very rude. I would recommend Jaime I El Coto De Rioja on the same street, where the food is top class and staff are way more accommodating also.
