Ottimo ristorante dietro San Marco. Pesce top
Locale bellissimo e pulito, personale molto accogliente e gentile, cibo ottimo e prezzi giusti come pochi a Venezia. Consigliatissimo! Torneremo sicuramente!
I ravioli?
The best place we ate in Venice. It was so cozy and comfortable that we ended up spending several hours slowly eating our way through the menu. Food was great and the pasta and fish were cooked perfectly. The family that owns it was gracious and spent some time chatting. I can see why folks call it a foodie hidden gym. We left a bag and they even chased us down to give it back. Great experience in Venice.
Seven of us were visiting Venice for just a day and "happened" upon Ristorante Noemi near St Mark's square. What a fantastic find! The food, service, and atmosphere were all fantastic. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we lingered far longer than we intended: it was time well spent. It was so much fun to hear my grandson exclaim, "That was the BEST restaurant I've ever been to." Worth every minute and every penny.
Great experience. Our host Asuma was the son of the owner and very attentive to our needs. The food was great and good value for money. Assistance was available for food selection and wine selection as well. Would be very happy to return and pleased to recommend to others.
I celebrated my birthday in restaurant Naomi back in 2024, and I had the most wonderful experience. There is a wide range of choices of Italian food, and we ordered different kinds of pastas. It tasted absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was amazing too, and the staff highly professional… they made my day absolutely unforgettable when they found out I was celebrating my birthday. 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
No dedicated vegan menu but has a few descent options (no protein) and staff were very friendly and knew the menu enough to provide/ point out options! Note the pesto does contain cheese. The items I remember being indicated as vegan were: Mushroom risotto Spaghetti Pomodoro Mixed vegetables Tagliatelle allé verdure* * The Tagliatelle noodle is made with egg but our server offered to make it with another pasta shape (I did spaghetti and it was absolutely delicious!! Super flavourful and would buy again!) Swapped noodle spaghetti Really wonderful service and experience!!
Incredible meal start to finish. An Italian friend of mine had recommended I eat here while in Venice and it was the best meal I’ve had so far in our 3 weeks in Italy. If you love seafood and want to try Venetian specialties I can think of no better place. I think I will still have dreams of the sauce on the mixed seafood pasta. Thanks to our waiter, Usama, who went above and beyond to make our experience special.
Went here based on an Italian friend's recommendation and so far it's the best place we've eaten at in Venice!!! Lovely traditional meal with classic seafood options. Menu items are a bit pricier compared to the small places you find along the touristy streets, but you definitely get what you pay for and the quality is so worth it. Here I trusted our server and he gave us the best. Highly recommend. :)
There are so many restaurants in this Marco Polo Square and so how we came to this cozy restaurant. Must be our destiny. They have delicious pasta especially the black ink cuttle fish, seafood pasta, calamari. Food serving was fast and the waiters are very friendly and sincere. We found there is an insect in our drinks and he took it back to the bar and return with 2 drinks ( 1 new drinks and the old drinks with the insect). Very professional in their kind of food business 👍.
What a hidden gem in Venice! My wife and I stumbled across this cozy restaurant as we were walking down the street We knew we had come across a good place to eat because it was off the beaten path but it was packed. We loved it so much we decided to have lunch there the next day. They specialize in seafood. Both of the owner’s sons were our servers the two days we went and they told us that the restaurant will turn 100 years old in 4 years and it’s been in his family for the last 30 years. I highly recommend this place if you come to Venice and only a block from San Marco Plaza.
A lovely welcome, delicious food and such polite service. Venice in January feels like a hidden gem - quiet and secretly sparkly! We’d recommend.
Traditional venetian restaurant, lovely environment and located right in the centre of Venice. Excellent food and superb service. Strongly recommend!

The atmosphere is good, good relaxing music, beautiful place. Food unfortunately wasn’t great, my pasta was very oily (see the picture), grilled eggplants were quite dry, broccoli soft - a bit overcooked, seafood soup was good though. Food wasn’t bad, just not great. Also feels like only americans and other tourists eat here - but that is expected - it is near main attractions
Ideal if you’re catching the water bus to Marco Polo from Rialto which is adjacent and in need of a light meal. Overlooking a Gondola station the fare is perfectly acceptable.
The location is beautiful on the side of Canal Grande. The prices are therefore a bit higher than elsewhere but just a bit. The personnel was friendly but not exceptional. The food however was medi…
Reasonable food - not great, just fine. We ate here as a family and had pizza and pasta. pasta was ok and tasty, pizza bases tasted like supermarket pre-made, with no crust whatsoever, which was …
The place is nice and warm especially during winter, but unfortunately the food was not up to standard. The vongole was overly salted and lacked the fresh clam seafood delicate flavour that was overpowered by way too much garlic and the espresso was 3 euros. It would have been fine but given the price they charge is not worth it in my opionon. Service was standard but wouldn't recommend going again given the price of the food.
Portions are very small. Cheap price for a meal is a trap because the main course is extremely small (just the quarter of an entire fish, half of half of an entire fish as shown in the picture). Pasta dishes are average. Waiter standing in front of the restaurant was very polite and helpful. But, one of the waiters whom I asked a question about the coffee of the menu was extremely rude. He suddenly got angry out of just one question about a coffee and overexplained it like the person in front of him is inadequate of comprehension. He should be taught how to behave a customer. Waiters should bring whatever the customer paid for they do not need to be told twice. I do not see the problem of asking about the coffee when the conversation happening about the bill. It cannot be an excuse of a rudeness. That one star i gave to the restaurant is only for the kind waiter who was standing in front of the place.
THE WORST RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE! I really don’t want to be wasting my time writing this review but unfortunately it’s something that has to be done because of not only how expensive the food was …
THE WORST RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE! I really don’t want to be wasting my time writing this review but unfortunately it’s something that has to be done because of not only how expensive the food was for the tiniest portions imaginable but also for being harassed and threatened by the staff. Story : Unfortunately due to many places being closed (it’s winter) we decided to sit down at this restaurant. We ordered some pasta. I will reiterate, pasta. The person who I was with received 6 pieces of the smallest ravioli I have ever seen in my life. I decided to go and have a look at the menu because I had never seen a plate so empty. Upon seeing me get up to grab the menu to verify that it was only 6 pieces of small pasta, the waiter came over to check everything was alright. I told him that no it was not because we were expected to pay 21.50euro for 6 pieces of pasta. He then insisted that this was the normal price and that it was normal for Venice. I stood my ground and told him that this is ridiculous. He became flustered and rather aggressive to feedback and sent over another waiter that ended up becoming aggressive as well when i re-explained the situation. The new waiter told me he had been working at this restaurant for “30 years” yet he wasn’t over the age of 40 and that these were the normal prices. I can assume that the table a little ways away from us heard this dispute as when they went to pay they said the same thing “this is surprisingly expensive for what it is.”. I spoke up at this moment and agreed with them and this turned the waiters and staff against us completely. They started berating me and the person I was with for 5 minutes before I decided to get out my phone and film them (unfortunately I can’t attach a video…). As soon as this happened they backed away and changed the manner with which they were speaking to us. I wanted to leave the place without paying but the person I was with insisted on paying. They gave us a “discount” we still paid 35 euros for a minuscule plate of pasta and a half eaten plate of carbonara (I had no appetite after everything that transpired…). FURTHERMORE! Upon leaving the waiter that had originally served us decided to speak aggressively in a language we didn’t understand while threatening us and running the middle finger up and down his nose as we were walking away. I decided not to stand for this and started filming again which made them instantly change their behavior (surprise surprise…). This is hands down the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. I hope no one ever goes here because it’s clearly run by thugs. Attached (if it’s possible.) Are the videos plus the photo of the menu and half eaten pasta that was left behind. (I unfortunately can’t attach them). I’m still debating whether or not to see the police about this absolutely abhorrent experience.
