Anche io Incuriosito dell'episodio di 4 ristoranti, ho voluto provare questo posto in una location meravigliosa sul canale della Giudecca. I piatti, il servizio ed anche il conto non hanno deluso le aspettative. Consigliato!!!

Un'esperienza indimenticabile. Il personale è super preparato e molto cordiale con il cliente. L'esperienza parla da sé, è inutile lamentarsi del prezzo se non si è consapevoli del tipo di cucina che si va a pagare. Assolutamente suggestiva la vista del canale in una Venezia non trafficata dai classici turisti. Carta dei Vini di qualità con pregi alla ricerca del prodotto di nicchia.

Il locale oltre ad offrire uno spazio esterno con una vista mozzafiato sul canale della Giudecca ha al suo interno due bellissime sale ideali per una cena intima e romantica. il cibo è ottimo e il personale cordiale e preparato mette a proprio agio il cliente. Super consigliato

Siamo stati stasera per la seconda volta, abbiamo mangiato molto bene ed il servizio è stato attento e molto gentile. Cibo molto buono. Ritorneremo sicuramente. Un grazie particolare a Klod.

Abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante con la mia fidanzata per Capodanno, quindi forse non era il momento ideale per giudicare appieno la cucina. Nonostante ciò, il menù fisso era ottimo, con ingredienti di alta qualità e porzioni abbondanti per un locale di questo livello. I prezzi erano ovviamente più alti del solito, ma in linea con altri ristoranti simili. L’interno è carino ed elegante, e sono sicuro che l’atmosfera sia ancora più piacevole in estate, quando si può cenare con vista sul canale.

Personale molto professionale, servizio attento, cortese e disponibile ad accontentare il cliente. Posizione splendida, si può ammirare il tramonto. Complimenti a tutti!

Honestly such a gorgeous restaurant, the view is breathtaking! The service made us feel so welcome, Valentino in particular ensured our time there was unlike no other :) The food was impeccable with a luxe feel to it, overall I recommend trying this place out.

Everything was spectacular. The food, the ambiance, the service, everything was great. We shared the oysters, caprese salad, and had the seafood pasta and spaghetti con fongoli. Everything was spectacular and not a bite left on our plates. We also had an insane sunset view that I’ve never seen before and they said they have this type of view every night. We had a nice romantic dinner and we were so thankful to our server Tao who made our dinner and night so special.

We had our final Venetian lunch at Ristorante Riviera, an elegant slow-food seafood restaurant perched directly on the Zattere promenade. Our table was practically touching the water, with the Giudecca Canal stretching in front of us. As we sipped Friulano and people-watched, ships, gondolas, and ferries glided past. The setting was unforgettable. The food was just as impressive. We started with the raw seafood selection, each bite fresh and delicately flavored, and the scampi tartare, which was beautifully balanced. For mains, the spaghetti alle vongole was outstanding. It was perfectly al dente pasta, briny and sweet clams, and a sauce that clung just enough to capture the sea in every forkful. The grilled Adriatic fish was another highlight, cooked simply but with precision to let the flavors of the fresh catch shine. The staff were knowledgeable and warm, helping us pair our dishes with a crisp Friulano that complemented the seafood perfectly. Their wine program is serious, and if you ask, they’ll recommend thoughtful regional pairings. The Lugana and Friulano are particularly excellent with the menu. One of the best meals of our trip, and an absolute must if you want seafood with a view in Venice!

Mamma mia. Came here for a nice sunset dinner and they delivered. Ordered the clam linguine, spaghetti carbonara, tiramisu, and the king prawns which were to die for. Some of, if not the best prawns I’ve ever had as they were extremely tender and slightly sweet. All the other dishes were done very well and it was obvious they used high quality ingredients. The tiramisu is made in-house so make sure to try that out! Samuel was the host and he was very charming and friendly. Highly recommend!

Riviera is a fantastic spot for seafood lovers, with beautifully prepared dishes and an incredible waterfront view. It’s especially worth visiting in the early evening to enjoy dinner while watching the sunset over the river

We had, as a family, booked a table at this restaurant just a few hours before arriving after my father had asked our gondolier the best restaurants for eating seafood and he recommended it, and got to dine outside during sunset until nighttime. The view was lovely, and the food was incredible. Staff was friendly and attentive during our time at the table, making sure our experience there was good, even as we tried to make arrangements to celebrate my brother’s birthday with a cake. Hands down the best eating experience we’ve had so far during our trip in Europe. Their seafood was really fresh (my mother really enjoyed it and said it reminded her of the seafood back at her homeland) and their cheesecake was delicious. We all thought it was worth it and recommend it!

While in Venice, we tried this restaurant which was close to our hotel. It has relatively small space inside but very large are for outside seating next to the canal, The menu had enough choices for adults and children. The service was friendly but slow. Good was delicious.

The best dining experience I had in Venice. Booked online the day before for a table of 4. Every dish was fine and delicious. Fish was very fresh and the tiramisu was so special. View was perfect. It’s a bit further from our hotel but we enjoyed spending the evening away from the crowd. General Manager was super friendly and chatty, we felt very welcomed and we enjoyed his company very much. He was also very knowledgeable when we asked for wine recommendations. Highly recommended and I will come back when I return to Venice.

It was the best experience on my trip to Italy. Nine members of my family arrived in the evening, but there was no river seat for a large number of people. A seat was created by waiting for an hour, and the staff quickly organized the seats. Both the meal and wine were perfect, and above all, the atmosphere was full of Venice's atmosphere.The staff was handsome and kind, and the whole family counted as the best experience in Italy. Please remember that nine families from Korea were impressed by your kindness and hospitality.

The staff is so friendly. You can eat outside while looking out over the canal. The atmosphere is sooo nice indoors. We sat down to eat outside and went indoors because it was so cold, and the staff kindly moved us around. The oil pasta is so delicious!!

This is hands down one of the best restaurant experiences that I have had in the world. From the moment we stepped in to the moment we left we had a great experience. Starting with the staff, from the owner to each waiter, each member contributed to our experience. All were very attentive, helpful and kind. We really felt that they were interested in us personally and wanted us to have a great experience. For the food, each dish was beautifully plated and delicious. The menu has a nice variety and the prices are what you would expect from an upscale eatery. If you’re in Venice and looking for fine dining, I definitely recommend this place.

This was our last night in Italy and it was the best way to end our trip there. The food was absolutely amazing, the drinks were wonderful, and the service was spot on. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming, and helped me order in Italian as I am learning the language (and am not great). I can’t forget to mention the seating. We didn’t have a reservation but we arrived around 6pm and left around 8:30/8:45. They sat us outside next to the water which is exactly what I wanted. If I ever make it back it Venice, I would make a special trip to this place. I didn’t grab everyone’s name, but Antonio and Valentino, BRAVO!!!!!! Great people here.

Abbiamo cenato presso il Ristorante Riviera ispirandoci alla puntata del programma 4 Ristoranti di Alessandro Borghese, dove appare come uno dei candidati. Anche se ha cambiato gestione da allora, ha totalmente soddisfatto le nostre aspettative. Appena si entra, si è accolti da un personale disponibile ed internazionale e da un ambiente intimo-romantico: raccolta, dalle paredi di un caldo beige e le tavole candide, la sala interna trasmette da subito una sensazione di comfort. Il servizio è stato rapido, gentile e sofisticato, come lo sono i piatti: è rimasto sicuramente lo stampo di haute cuisine, che distingue il ristorante da quelli meramente turistici. Antipasti di pesce e di carne molto buoni e primi davvero eccelsi, consiglio in particolare il risotto ai frutti di mare, dai gusti perfettamente bilanciati e le cappe sante gratinate, dal sapore inconfondibilmente veneziano. La cottura era perfetta per tutti i piatti che abbiamo provato. Unico difetto il prezzo, un po' più elevato di quanto ci aspettassimo.

We visited the restaurant specifically for the oysters (even though they were French). They were tasty, but served warm, and presenting them on salt (instead of ice, as usual) looked unusual. The tartare lacked flavor. The service was good, and the waiters were polite and friendly.

Attirata dalle tante recensioni positive, avevamo organizzato questa serata al Riviera con aspettative molto alte, che purtroppo sono state prontamente deluse. Mi spiace doverlo dire, ma secondo me il rapporto offerta/prezzo mi è parso troppo elevato rispetto a quanto mangiato, mi aspettavo di più dai piatti scelti. Abbiamo iniziato con delle capesante gratinate, del salmone marinato alla barbabietola e dei gamberoni con zucchine alla scapece e marmellata di peperoni. A mio parere, gratinatura troppo asciutta, non ha aggiunto nulla alla capasanta, anzi forse l’ha azzoppata, i gamberoni non erano tutti puliti ad hoc, alcuni avevano ancora parte dell’intestino sul dorso e il salmone buono ma, per quanto riguarda la marinatura non l’ho percepita. In seguito abbiamo ordinato per me la tagliata di tonno rosso con salsa allo zafferano, mentre mio marito ha preferito i ravioli ripieni di branzino con pinoli e bottarga. Giusta cottura per il tonno, era buono accompagnato alla salsa, i ravioli che ho assaggiato, invece, li avrei alleggeriti un po’ nel ripieno, mentre la pasta del raviolo l’avrei preferita meno spessa. Nel complesso, bene ma non benissimo….a fine pasto, dopo cinque minuti di orologio, ci han chiesto se volevamo concludere con il dolce e al nostro rifiuto, ci hanno portato il conto (che non avevamo chiesto ancora), dopo poco hanno sollecitato il saldo, non proprio apertamente, ma chiedendo se preferivamo contanti o carta….in poco meno di dieci minuti ci hanno fatto alzare….che dire? Avevano bisogno del tavolo libero? Un po’ troppo solleciti in questo frangente. Un appunto al locale, l’ambiente interno è carino, ma noi eravamo in un tavolo d’angolo sotto un’applique che grondava ragnatele e vicino ad una finestra la cui sommità ne contava altrettante! Un po’ d’attenzione alla pulizia, visto il conto. Abbiamo pagato 155€ con un calice di vino, tre antipasti e due piatti principali, senza dolce….visto il costo medio delle portate, mi aspetto sì, più cura nell’offerta, più ricercatezza nell’elaborazione dei piatti e pulizia maggiore nell’ambiente. Personalmente non ho amato particolarmente la mancanza della tovaglia sul tavolo, non c’era nemmeno un runner o una tovaglietta. Servizio cortese, a volte un po’ impacciato.
