A gem, we're almost sorry to share it...just a few steps from the Forte parking lot (too close for sports enthusiasts, but we assure you, charming and perfect for families with children), this refuge welcomes and pampers you without reservation, like a true refuge (a rare thing). The owner and his daughter are super hosts, as you can see from the decorations in every corner of this magical spot in the woods!

We had lunch at this beautiful mountain lodge/refuge, and it was simply a fantastic experience in every way! ​🍽️ The Cuisine: A Triumph of Flavors We ate divinely. The quality of the ingredients is excellent, and the traditional dishes are expertly cooked, with generous portions. Special praise goes to the pizzoccheri and polenta, which were unforgettable, not to mention the fantastic bresaola, which I've never tasted so good. The desserts are also amazing! ​👨‍🍳 The Staff: The Real Added Value The service is impeccable. The staff is truly TOP! Everyone was extremely kind, attentive to our needs, and always smiling, making us feel right at home. Hospitality and passion are at home here. ​⭐ In Summary: If you're looking for an authentic place surrounded by nature, where you can eat excellently and feel pampered, this is the place. A very charming and quaint refuge in the woods The owner made us feel at home from the moment we called to make our reservation. The menu isn't very long, but that's no bad thing: it features all the typical local dishes, the service is very fast, and the food is very good. The best part was after dinner, when we were able to chat with the owner and his friends as if we'd known them for years. P.S. How's the reindeer?!

An enchanting place nestled in the woods of Oga-Valdisotto. Also accessible from the ski slopes. The extremely kind and welcoming staff will guide you towards the best selection of local delicacies. Excellent quality pizzoccheri and sciatt, and exquisite homemade desserts. Try the Swiss pine cake! You eat at a single table with other diners, in an intimate and relaxed atmosphere. Prices are in line with the quality of the service.

A lovely walk through the woods leads to the Baita Motin: the owners are extremely kind and helpful, and the food is excellent. Rooms are available for those who wish. The menu is traditional and generous: we ordered the Sciatt, a superb blueberry risotto, a Swiss pine semifreddo, and a digestif. Everything is homemade by the owners.

What can I say... FANTASTIC! Gaetano, Barbara, and Silvia are fantastic! My mom and I decided to stop at this traditional mountain hut right on the ski slopes and were pleasantly surprised! Their specialty is blueberry risotto, delicious! The friendliness and friendly atmosphere made it a surefire way to repeat our experience; it's now a must-see in Valtellina! We also tried the house bitters and Valtellinese wine!!! Next time we'll definitely sleep a night in the hut! Well done, see you soon, guys.

A refuge nestled in the greenery near Bormio. The food is excellent and the owners are very welcoming. There are beautiful wooden sculptures along the way. Inside, the traditional mountain wood furnishings create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We enjoyed excellent pizzoccheri, typical local cured meats and cheeses, and the famous Valtellina sciatt. We'll return if we have the chance.

A refuge nestled in an enchanting setting where I always find professionalism, cheerfulness, and excellent food thanks to the legendary chef Aldo! The manager, Gaetano, and his wife, Barbara, are incredibly friendly and kind! We always return because it's a place of relaxation and fun, also perfect for families and children who want to spend a day in a family-friendly environment. Highly recommended!!!
