Category: Attraction and Restaurant. Our visit started with an interesting tour of the working lemon farm. The tour explained how lemons are grown from grafts, how they are protected as they grow, how and when they are harvested, and how they are put to their best use: making limoncello. An alternate name for the excellent tour: Everything you always wanted to know about lemons but were afraid to ask. It’s kind of amazing that this large grove of lemons is only a short walk from the main piazza, in the center of Sorrento. After the tour, we were seated under a shady lemon arbor, where we were served a sampling plate with soft and medium hard cheese, lemon marmalade (never heard of it but it’s a great idea and we will probably make some), orange marmalade (they grow oranges too), honey, bread and olive oil, sliced pear, candied lemon peel, honey, and cookies. The accompanying lubricants were popular and regional Aglianico (red) and Falanghina (a new grape variety to me, which pairs well with seafood). This tasting was part of the tour for which our excellent Lemon Insegnante gave us some guidance. Our friend, who booked this excursion, booked the lunch that followed separately from and in addition to the tour. Lemon-centric cooking classes were also on offer and there is an all-lemons-all-the-time gift shop. The restaurant part of this operation has a menu, but the lunch choices were selected by the restaurant: antipasti was a per person plate of veggies (grilled peppers, zucchini, melanzane, and lemon-leaf-wrapped mozz, and fresh tomatoes). Generous and tasty, especially drizzled with local olive oil. The main course (primi or secondi, depending on your perspective), was house-made tagliatelle with butter and — wait for it — lemon. It was cooked slightly more than al dente, which all four of us loved. Again, generous and delicious. If you want to learn about lemons and have a nice lunch among the trees, this is a great half-day excursion. YouTube’s Chef’s Apprentice
Unforgettable culinary experience at dinner at this lovely restaurant reinforced my love for Italian food in Sorrento, Italy. We started with some smoked salmon, exquisitely roasted aubergine, mozzarella grilled in lemon leaf, stuffed tortellini and cod puttanesca, followed by caruso (orange and chocolate cake)! Loved the surroundings : the tables are under lemon trees and the hosts are wonderful ! Loved this place and hope to come again soon !
We visited for a tour a couple of days ago and came back for a meal tonight. Fabulous place to eat amongst the Lemon trees. Service and food were amazing! Try the Lemon sorbet, it's to die for! Must place to visit away from the traffic noise of much of the centre of Sorrento but only a very short distance in a quiet back street.
While in Sorrento, we wanted to visit a lemon farm and found La Limonaia. We're really glad we went! The staff were friendly, and the tour was both interesting and informative. We got great insight into how the lemon harvest works and how various products are made - we learned a lot. The tasting at the end was a real highlight, and the products we tried were genuinely delicious. If you're interested in local food production and traditions, I highly recommend visiting this place! 🍋
We dined here tonight following a friend’s recommendation and it did not disappoint. It was our first evening in Italy and we focused on eating lemony things. The food was excellent and the vibe is exceptional. Eating in a lemon grove was so cool. The service from Francesco’s team was attentive and friendly. It was a perfect evening.
Dinner in a lemon grove? Yes please! 🍋 Everything about this place was a unique experience. The venue became more beautiful as the night went on. The food is a little on the expensive side but delicious none the less. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I had my birthday dinner here and was a one of a kind experience!
An absolutely beautiful lemon farm with a charming dining area and the added bonus of cooking classes — it’s a fantastic spot for events too! The manager was kind, and the staff were efficient and attentive. The food tasted good, though I was hoping for a bit more in terms of flavor. I really wanted to try the cooking class but will definitely save that for next time. The entire place is stunning — totally Instagram-worthy!
We stumbled across this restaurant when walking around sorrento and it is honestly a hidden gem. The food was delicious- especially the lemon ravioli which was super special! Francesco couldn't do more for us and was the perfect host and the bar staff were so lovely too. An all round great experience, lovely food with perfect views , we would definitely return!
A beautiful was to spend sundown! Cozy and yet airy at the same time, perfect for a romantic evening, a calm dinner with family, or perfect for a friend group! All the food was wonderful and perfect portion sizes. Don’t expect a quick meal (I’m looking at you, fellow Americans) this place is meant to be enjoyed! And definitely try their desserts. The evening got chilly and the heaters provided perfect temps, so don’t worry about cooler times!
This was one of my favorite restaurants out of 3 during our visit in Sorrento. The service was fabulous, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was the most romantic I've ever experienced. The outside tables are all surrounded by mature and blooming lemon trees and they provide a gorgeous backdrop to the patio area. I had the sea bass, and we ordered wine and an appetizer. We got to the restaurant before dusk, but it was dark when we left and they had the patio lights on. It was magical.
We absolutely loved this restaurant! It was our favorite dinner of the trip, so much so we booked a dinner for our last night here. The lemon cream sauce with the ravioli was to die for, the grilled mozzarella in the lemon leaf was such a pleasant unique taste, and the pasta itself was so good! You also couldn’t beat the ambiance. So romantic and cute being surrounded by twinkle lights and lemon trees. We also felt the price was incredibly reasonable for the amount of food we ordered (appetizer, two first courses, two second courses, two deserts, two drinks, two cappuccinos). We spent 120 euros. We definitely can’t get away with a meal that nice back home!
Francesco was absolutely fantastic. The food was outstanding and the surrounding atmosphere was beautiful. I will be back!

A beautiful setting for drinks amongst the lemon trees! Francesco was a great host and we enjoyed some delicious drinks.

We loved this adorable restaurant just a walk from our Hotel Capri. We felt like we were in a lemon tree orchard. Excellent cuisine but the most yummy was the lemon gelato dessert! The ambiance …
Me and my partner had a 5* experience here on Saturday, so much so that we reserved a table again for Monday. Everything was perfect on Saturday, the food, the atmosphere, the staff & Francesco the manager. Unfortunately Francesco wasn’t working on Monday, and our experience was not as good as Saturday’s. The food took a while to arrive, the staff were not as friendly, and the atmosphere was not as pleasant (the beautiful lights weren’t working properly). I would still recommend to come here, maybe just when Francesco is working.
The location is very good and the setting in the lemon garden is lovely. The tables are generously spaced out so easy to talk and no overheard chatter from other tables. Whilst there was nothing wrong with the food or service, both of which were perfectly fine (my wife enjoyed her dishes more than I did mine) for me it lacked the wow factor of a 5* review. Prices were at the top end for the quality and overall experience - we've had better for the same or less.
Very disappointing. Expensive tourist trap. I would avoid. The tomato sauce for the spaghetti tasted like it was out of a jar. The kitchen is by the toilet and when I waited for my daughter zi …

Attended as part of a excursion trip. Lovely seeing all the lemons growing on the trees. wine as part of the lunch was great.
Not very good. The seating was beautiful but the service needs work! We were waiting 30 minutes to have somebody to take our order. We had to tell the staff that we were ready to order. I was so di…
Very instagrammable restaurant. We had lunch there in late April 2024 while staying at the Hotel De La Ville across the street. Food was ok, desserts were beautiful, and limoncello was STRONG. Ha! Pricey for sure. The citrus orchard is gorgeous. Hospitality is a huge factor for me, and the service wasn’t serving. Took away a star for that. Took away another star bc the food wasn’t the best and dessert was just meh (taste wise). 5 ⭐️ for aesthetic though🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻

I read the reviews before going to this restaurant with my family and I must say most were misleading. The restaurant's lemon grove setting is appealing, but we were disappointed by the drinks, food and high prices (€155 for 4 without dessert). The fried seafood appetizer was skimpy, my lemon pasta was bland, and my husband's seafood linguini was lackluster too. The tomato pasta for our child was the only standout. The manager or host was aloof, and the staff seemed uncomfortable. During the June heatwave, the outdoor seating was very hot. This place was expensive and disappointing; I recommend finding other lemon-themed restaurants nearby.
