In town on business and drove past here twice. I had to try it for dinner. I got the pepper steak, vegetables and beef & barley soup. Everything was piping hot and delicious. Tender steak. Would recommend. Awesome staff as well.

Excellent service from the waitress. Amanda you were a delight. Thank you for the great service. Food was top notch. I ordered the sirloin steak with ribs and my partner ordered the ribeye steak. First time here, really nice vibe. The waitress (Krystal) made me feel right at home. Recommended their Sirloin. It was perfect and came to my table sizzling hot. Great salad and drinks. My drinks were well poured, potent :) I hate places that cheap out on the drinks. I never go back. I highly recommend this steakhouse.

This was my first time here in December 2024. The atmosphere is western themed. It is very clean and has a lot of booths that can fit 6 people. Our server was very friendly and attentive. My steak was perfectly cooked, and I enjoyed the grilled shrimp tremendously. Menu prices are reasonable, especially considering all of my groups' food was great, and the service was fast and attentive. Great for dates or family outings.

This place was great the food was awesome. The staff here is very friendly and there to help you out. Definitely try the fried zucchini appetizer it was very good. If you are a french fry fan steak fry in particular you will also love this place. It is tucked away pretty good you definitely have to go look for it. If ever in Victorville driving by you definitely need to stop and try it out. They also give you quite a bit of food I can barely eat all mine

While my boyfriend and I were in the state of California visiting some family, we asked them to pick their favorite restaurant for a nice meal. Of course, we were excited when they mentioned steak, but little did we know their food would be the BEST! It was fantastic and fresh both at the restaurant and left-over the next day!!! I personally enjoy my steak rare, and what a treat this was, (as seen in the image). They also offer a Strawberry Lemondade and not only was it beautifully presented, it was OUTSTANDING! Overall, I recommend this restaurant regardless if you're in town or not! It's well worth the drive and price. 🤩

Steer and Stein tries really hard to not be something it's not, but could probably be. The atmosphere is really lackadaisical, almost to the point you have to ask if the food is going to be good. But, food is great. I had the Super Stockyard. A 16oz Sirloin. Combined it with sauteed mushrooms and some steamed vegetables. Presentation wasn't much, more just tossed on the plate. Again this place is about good food not atmosphere or presentation. Still feel like they could up their presentation a bit to cater and garner to a more diverse crowd.

This Restaurant is across the street from the Hotel where I am currently staying for Work. I have had occasion to have eaten here several times over the last few weeks. The food has been very consistent, and well prepared. Menu holds true to the name, but has a reasonably varied selection. On our last visit Mel provided exceptional Service! She brings a Big Personality to work with her, and definitely "Steps Up" the dining experience here.

Wife went here on Friday night and ordered Bacon Wrapped Tri-tip. She said it was bit undercooked (She prefers medium or med-rare). Took the left overs home. I noticed that the bottom of her steak was burnt only on one side. Edit: return visit on 02/25/26 Ribeye was cooked perfectly but unseasoned and not great quality, little to no marbling I can tell, I buy Costco ribeye. Wife's steak was overcooked and they kept bringing out a replacement piece which was ALSO well done. We gave up trying to get a medium cooked steak for her after third try. Waiter/ress was experienced but must have had too many tables.

First and last time here. I just spent 46.00 and left hungry. Zucchini was really good. I ordered a med/well steak, i got a rare steak. They took it back to re-cooked it.. still too bloody. So taking it home to cook it myself. What I was trying to avoid doing after a long work week. Mashed potatoes were dry, had to ask for more gravy. Beans were cold, but they were still good. I have to say, the seat in the booth was really comfy.

The food was food. Ordered a ribeye med rare and it was a thin piece that was literally black on the bottom so it was a ways past well done. But we had a large group and the service was nice. The pepper steak was real good and cooked right. The drinks are enormous!

Steer n stein has been a family favorite for years !! We always stop on the way home to vegas and enjoy the fried zucchini which never disappoints! Our server was great by giving us all to-go cups for our strawberry lemonade to take on our way home ! Steak could have been a little more flavorful for a ribeye lol, but everything else was AMAZING. 👍👏😃

The atmosphere was good, lots of antiques around made it enjoyable. The server was nice. Even though he got my order wrong he was still nice. The chili was delicious, a bit cold, it had a sweet onion flavor, would have loved it if it had more meat less beans. The fried zucchini spears was served hot, very delicious, it did have a lot of breading. The side Salad was very plain. And the steak and shrimp was good, cooked just right. The only real issue was most of the food was served cold and took a long time, and cost a lot. It was a good place to meet up with family and friends.

The appetizer was good. The both our steaks came out raw we asked for medium and medium rare. It took our server 12 minutes to come back to the table to check on us by then we were over the experience and just wanted to leave. We sent our steaks back my wife didn’t want another one I got mine back on a hot plate and it was now medium to medium well. Not what I expected from a steakhouse.

My wife loves their shrimp! So i go for her. I tried Steer And all of 3 times. 1st I tried the Ribeye med rare. I got the steak delivered on a missing platter. The steak was well done, tough and tasteless. 2nd time there, I tried the Stockyard Steak. The steak was cut with the grain, instead of against the grain. The steak was stringy and tough, awful. The 3rd time I thought was going to be a charm. I ordered the bacon wrapped tried tip. It was awful...that's all I'll say about that. I must say that the zuchinni and onion rings were to die for!

Super excited to try this place for the first time, super disappointed. Two of us order the stockyard steak (12 oz choice sirloin) mid rare. Cook was fine but they were literally pieces of chuck roast !!!! NOT SIRLOIN, TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT CUTS, FLAVORS, and TEXTURES. Insane, I sent it back and got a ribeye, cook was perfect but it was absolutely tasteless, no salt or pepper just a hunk of meat. I felt like a crazy person. So if you expect a sirloin steak, don’t. Kids chicken tenders came out as Dino nuggets, literally on the menu as chicken tenders though.

It was Awefull. Fried zucchini and onion rings were cooked in old oil, nasty taste. Had to send back the beef sandwich. Ribeye had allot of fat, very thin and no flavor. I would have been happier with a burger from In and Out. Service was slow as heck. Mashed potatoes were cold.
