What can I say! Heirloom is an outstanding restaurant that delivers excellence every single time. The atmosphere is very warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed perfect for a relaxed yet upscale dining experience. What truly sets Heirloom apart, though, is the high-quality food. Every visit has been consistently exceptional, with dishes that are expertly prepared, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The customer service is top-tier attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell the team takes pride in creating a memorable experience for every guest. The sous chef deserves special recognition as well; their skill and attention to detail shine through in every plate. Having visited multiple times, I can confidently say Heirloom never disappoints my wife or myself. It’s a restaurant that values quality, consistency, and hospitality, making it one I highly recommend and will continue to return to.

came here tonight to celebrate me and my boyfriends birthday and it did not disappoint! cameron was our server was very knowledgeable on the farm to table experience and really elevated the night. their cocktails are very well thought out using techniques to enhance the flavor and were so delicious. we got the whole fried fish and fried chicken and it was without a doubt the best chicken i have ever eaten. cannot recommend this place enough for a date night!

This might have been one of the BEST restaurants I have been to all around. The food was absolutely incredible! The staff was beyond attentive and it was one of the cleanest restaurants I’ve experienced. I’ve been a server and bartender in the past for several years and I truly value and respect the perfect execution of service. The she crab soup, garden vegetables, crab cake, tuna, and key lime dessert were impeccable. Our old fashions were incredible. HIGHLY recommend this place all around!

I went here for my birthday. It was very amazing.They printed happy birthday on my menu with my name. My waitress Jessica was very attentive and all of our food dishes were excellent. The whole fried red snapper,the crab cake and the She Crab Soup was brilliant. Top it off with a Dirty Martini. I will be back again.

Such a great experience!! The food and service were killer. We came for my fiancés promotion- and they printed a lovely special menu for us :) the details! The duck and seabass were impeccable! Cocktails were amazing!

There aren’t enough words or ways to describe how amazing the experience here was. The team, ambiance, food, and identity of this establishment is easily one of the most noteworthy in Southern VA. Thanks again to the team!

Heirloom has the best food we’ve tried in the area so far. The decorations and ambiance in December was magical 😊 Crab cakes, duck, and our anniversary dessert were delicious!

Popped in for a cocktail, while waiting to head over to a party. The menu looks fabulous! Will have to check them out for food next time! The cocktails were great, well balanced and unique- highly recommended!

I just wanted to take a moment to share how deeply in love our local family is with Heirloom. For years now, this restaurant has been our go-to for any moment that deserves to be savored — from spontaneous date nights to special celebrations. Any time I can steal away a few hours with my husband, I insist we go to Heirloom (because... hello! Heirloom!). It's never a question — it’s a craving, a tradition, a treat. Most recently, we came in for my birthday and I had what might just be my all-time favorite dish — the salad with strawberries and ramps topped with an enormous perfectly fried softshell crab. Lordy. That flavor profile was absolutely stunning. The ramps, in particular, were like a revelation — their earthiness dancing perfectly with the sweetness of those lush strawberries. I can still taste it. And I never get dessert. But that day? Our wonderful server had me at "cured egg yolk and strawberry" and I was sold, I'm a lifelong fan of perfect, sun warmed strawberries. I have never been so happy to be so wonderfully, joyfully full. Truly, I can’t begin to express how much joy every experience at Heirloom brings us. Whether it’s drinks at the bar, a quick bite, or a special event, it’s always been the epitome of perfection. Thank you for creating a space that feels like magic every time we walk through the door. Life is short, savor the company you keep while one of the best meals in VB is prepared and presented for your dining pleasure.

Doug ( spouse) and I tried a newer restaurant tonight that we have not been to called Heirloom Restaurant Va Beach for our 21st Wedding Anniversary. We can see why this restaurant is 5 star reviews. The staff is exceptional. The food is superb. The atmosphere is wonderful.  From the moment we walked in everyone that had greeted us wished us a happy 21st wedding anniversary. It was even printed on our menus which we got to take home. When we first sat down, it was in an area that was a little louder, but still a great atmosphere, but our waitress/hostess said she just realized I had asked for a quieter atmospheric area if they had one and asked to move us. Doug had just gotten new hearing aids, made it really loud where we were sitting for him to adjust, but it was perfect when they moved us to a new spot. The couple sitting next to us had their food come out first and of course it was a beautiful fish on a plate and they told everyone yes you can get a picture because we are going to get one. I ordered scallops and jumbo crab cakes. And I critique scallops all the time and do reviews from around town and I will tell you not in the north not in the south not in the east not in the west have I tasted a better scallop in my entire life ever. I am still thinking about the scallops that I ate at this restaurant. Typically every seafood restaurant will bring you scallops that are overcooked, undercooked, gummy, chewy not seasoned, but the scallops were perfection. The jumbo crabcakes I never tasted any breading in them. I'm not even sure how they held it together because it was pure jumbo crab unless they had a little bit of egg in it. It was beautiful and again it was cooked to perfection. and all I could think about was you Christian J. Phillips if these crabcakes were in your reviews that you did.  I don't even know what to say about Doug's food. He got a wedge salad, which tasted exceptional. And then they brought out the house special, which was a ribeye with baby potatoes, and seasoned carrots. When I say it was huge it was massive. And of course, the people sitting on the other side of us all asked to get a picture and we said absolutely cause we were gonna get pictures. He also agreed that his food was some of the best food that he has had. So if you're looking for an amazing place to eat, please choose this place you will not be disappointed. It is beyond exceptional Farm to table food and I promise you, you will enjoy it.  Thank you to all the staff at Heirloom Restaurant!! Thank You!!
