Got a tiramisu iced latte this morning. The employee was very friendly and helpful and the drink tasted good as well. The atmosphere seemed like they were going slightly rustic and playing slightly on a cowboy theme but it seemed to work well. Overall it’s worth a visit.

Updated Review: 03/15/25 I think Allyson may have just converted me from a latte to a cappuccino person? The frothed milk game is on point & I can say that with confidence because I am a bit of a snob about it. Also she is a big reason they are open on Sundays now, which is one of my favorite days to get a coffee, so if you are anything like me don’t be afraid to show her some love! ❤️☕️ Original Review: (about 1 yr ago) I’ve lived in Visalia nearly my whole life and currently this is the best latte in town. Component has good atmosphere but recently there steamed milk game has been lacking and that’s really the only thing I am paying $6+ dollars for in a coffee, if you can’t get that done then I can just make it myself. I believe Samantha has made the last 3 lattes I have had, all exceeding standards. ❤️‍🔥

This is a great little coffee roasting café... the roaster is right in the main area of the cafe and sounded by the tables... the fragrance is awesome!

I got a cold Vietnamese spiced coffee as their espresso machine wasn't working and hot drinks weren't available at that time. To my pleasant surprise the coffee wasn't super sweet and the taste was pretty balanced. The coffee shop could do well with a few board games (they have a decent book collection that I appreciated).

What an experience! Not only is it the best coffee I've ever had, but the people are great! Saddle Blaster by winter. Mocha Shake by summer. Cappuccino for all other occasions. The foam is phenomenal! If you can catch one of the intimate concerts, treat yourself!

Maverick's Coffee provided me with excellent customer service. My package/coffee got lost in the mail over the holidays. Even though the shipment was confirmed delivered (it got lost in our apartment concierge) they mailed me a new bag via USPS at no charge. I emailed them and reported that I didn't receive the shipment. They were so nice and immediately wrote back that they would send me a replacement. It arrived yesterday. Thank you Ryan!! The coffee is delicious.

They have a rotating selection of pastries, my kids favorite being the oversized chocolate croissant. Staff is always friendly and there is seating inside and out. It's my favorite spot to get some coffee when I am visiting.

I did not try the food, so I cannot comment on that. However, I had the Raspberry Cream Matcha and it was delicious. The service was impeccable. Lastly, there were good vibes!

I ended up placing several separate orders during my visit, and the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating each time. Despite the extra work, they remained friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great cup of coffee and a warm, pleasant atmosphere.

The coconut Vietnamese coffee and the banana bread iced latte are both full-flavored, smooth, and completely unique. My wife loved hers, and I had trouble not reaching across the table for a sip. Now for the public service announcement: STAY. AWAY. FROM. THE. SWEETS. The banana bread cake, the pumpkin cake, the lemon berry loaf — it’s all horribly delicious. You will want to eat all of it. You will start rationalizing cake for breakfast (which I've done twice now). And if you all keep buying it, how am I supposed to work on my American waistline? Seriously. Leave some for me. It’s mine. MY PRECIOUS. In short: 5 stars. Great drinks, dangerously addictive pastries, and a shop I’ll keep coming back to until they cut me off for hoarding baked goods.

However, I met Ryan at the roasting location and had a great conversation and a few samples of freshly roasted coffee beans. It was a great experience and I probably talked his ear off for over an hour. I am always saying that customer service sucks now a days and people do not take pride in their work. I do not give high praise unless it is warranted. The coffee I tried at the roasting location was fantastic, and the bag I bought last night, I am enjoying at this very moment. If you are a true coffee lover, check these guys out!

I have to say that this would be my new go to for sunday's because the coffee tasted phenomenal and actually tastes like coffee. Tastes similar to Peet's in SB or Sacramento. Love how it's very low-key but only downside is that they close pretty early. Anyways, no complaints so far for my first visit.

We had the Hot Mocha and Vietnamese coffee they were delicious and made fresh. The peanut butter overnight oats were also fresh and delicious with almonds and walnuts. There were many police officers getting their morning coffee there so we felt the protection! Thanks Visalia PD. Thanks Mavericks Coffee we will be back!!

Haven't been here in years but had time to come by today. Light ice peppermint lattee gentleman who made you rocked it! Think you all are missing a great opportunity I remember when they had music would like to see the cuteness put back music inside so much potential but that being said your prices beat Starbucks for what you get and quality

First time going here. There's a real nice band that plays one Saturday a month. Relaxing music, good vibes. Ordered a Cafe Macchiato and a BLT sandwich. The BLT was decent, but the Cafe Macchiato was really good. Good service, easy-to-find parking. I recommend this place.

I always have a pretty good experience here. Coffee is good and the prices are about average. The atmosphere is nice and usually not particularly crowded. Service is usually quick and professional but not exceptionally friendly. If I had any complaint it would be that they could call out your order a little louder on occasion. I definitely recommend.

First time at Mavericks and I was very pleased with it. Good selection of hot and cold drinks as well as full beans to-go. Nice shop with a good amount of seating with a nice atmosphere. We got the quiche and it was really good! Excited to try the cinnamon roll we got to-go. If I lived in the area I'd be a repeat customer

We go here weekly to buy the coffee beans. This visit I also indulged in a hot London Fog (black tea, berry syrup, milk) and a delicious brownie. They always have decadent sweet treats and amazing coffee. Atmosphere is conducive to visiting and there is a sense of community.

The service was decent, but the espresso here was really sad. I ordered a vanilla latte and an iced Americano. My latte was watered down. It tasted like milk, syrup, and NO ESPRESSO. My uncle's Americano had the same problem. (When the Americano came out, I swore it was iced tea!) It was incredibly weak. Skip this place if you're looking for a strong, aromatic drink.

Was told this place had some good coffee which the coffee was phenomenal really good stuff but the atmosphere was quiet and ladies that worked their seemed like they just rolled out of bed to be honest and not the kindest warming greeting first time there like I said love the coffee but the owner should consider hiring employees with happy attitudes and welcoming vibes

The customer service was super weird. Did not greet us or even acknowledge us when we walked in. When our drinks were done they just sat on the counter. No one told us our drinks had been sitting on the counter. The vibes are nice, the drinks are okay. The over night oats are really good. Probably won’t be returning due to the customer service.

I went on a Saturday, there was only one person working and had to wait for 20 minutes to get my drink. Also my order was messed up, wanted a lattee but got a cappuccino and the milk was overheated. The barista needs to be properly trained, Starbucks is allot better unfortunately. I expect more from this roastery especially with the high prices

The worker that answered the phone on 02/19/2026 at 10:34 AM is very rude. She hung up as right after I started talking and when I tried calling back over and over she did not answer. Discipline this woman.
