Delicious Mediterranean Wrap with Filet Mignon. Pleasant patio atmosphere. Cocktails were very good. Good service.
Friendly weight staf. Loved the out door seating, food was excellent with big proportions.
I was thoroughly impressed by the seamless coordination between the servers and the support staff. Managing a group of 10 is no small feat, but the team’s collaborative effort made for a perfectly smooth and enjoyable lunch experience.
Was recommended this place by a friend and it didn't disappoint. We got there right at open which I'm thankful for because it filled up quick! We got the Shwarma fries and the Chicken Lavash, both of which were so delicious and flavorful. Our server explained the entire menu to me which I appreciated. Five stars highly recommend. I'll be back to try desert next time I'm in town!
I come here almost every time I visit family, it has been one of the family's favorites and mine! Their hummus is so delicious and a must have for every time we eat there. This time, my sister ordered the special, lamb shank and it was such a huge portion that fed us 2nd meal next day! It was so delicious, meat fall off bone tender, not too gamey (usually I can't eat lamb because of the gamey taste but this I could throughly enjoy), right amount of savory seasoning. We also got the tabouleh salad which was so refreshing. Since we went on Saturday, one of my nephews got the special - burger and it was delicious! I think it was lulu (lamb and beef blend) turned into a huge patty. It was his favorite. Another dish we had was kabobs plate, the rice was so good. So I have not had anything that did not taste good from there. I love love the mini market next door and I'll try take some items to take it home!
Stopped at Pita Kabob on our way to Yosemite for my son's wedding. We went a little bit off the beaten path and it was well worth the extra miles to find such a gem of a Mediterranean restaurant. I had the lentil soup and it was so delicious with all the flavors of a great lentil soup. Everyone else had pita wraps and they loved every bite. Good food, atmosphere and service. We also loved the town of Visalia, so cute and historic.
Delicious! We loved all the food we got and the cocktails were delightful (La Violet & Jalisco Mojito). Fresh, generous and tasty! Great outdoor courtyard. They also have a shop/deli where we stocked up on provisions to take to the National Park and for our road trip. Try the cilantro jalapeño hummus and the baba ganoush!
I really enjoy the food here and the little market has niche items you dont see in many other stores. Specifically Mediterranean and halal foods. Today I got the Greek chicken sandwich on sourdough with a water. Yum. They also have pizzas, salads and desserts. I recommend the baklava as a dessert. Enjoy.
Delicious food...their hummus is really good! Really can't go wrong with anything you order there! We were served by Nick from the bar...one of the BEST servers we have EVER had! We are really big on customer service, and he went above and beyond. Thank you for the great experience!
Amazing spot in Visalia. We stopped after our trip to the national park and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and service. The wait staff were courteous and prompt. But the food was absolutely delicious and fun. The presentation was great and the taste was vibrant. We had kebab, plates and baklava and everything was really good. Highly recommended.
This is my husband’s favorite restaurant so we frequent it quite a bit. I have probably been about 10-13 times now and I can say without a doubt I have never had a bad dish. They are consistent and that’s hard to find in food places. Depending on the chef food can taste different and that’s my pet peeve with some establishments. But everything here tastes fresh and delicious. Never thought I would enjoy a pizza from a Mediterranean place but ever since I tried my first the margarita pizza is my go to. The hummus is top notch and a great appetizer. The dinner plates and bowls are divine. There’s a bar with plenty of rotating alcoholic beverage choices. The place is not HUGE when it’s summer and you’re forced indoors, but they tend to move stuff around and accommodate without issue. There’s plenty of parking plus handicap spaces with wheelchair access, however there is only a changing table in the women’s bathroom. This place is also very popular so when it gets busy it can get pretty loud. If you’re looking for a quiet meal this is probably not the place to go for that.
Food is amazing and our friends said the drinks were great too. We got the combo plate, it comes with 2 choices of meat and salad. It was too much food for two people. We all went into food coma after eating the food. Very nice outdoor seating. There’s some sprinkler to cool down, and it works great! Our waiter is very attentive and nice.

Very good Mediterranean food, service, small bar, and large tap list of craft beer! This is my favorite restaurant in Visalia! Huge patio with adjoining deli.

I love the atmosphere of the restaurant. Service was quick. The food was yummy and delicious. I would definitely come back. We got the gyros and shawarma chicken/beef. I gave 4/5 because I did have better Mediterranean food and this restaurant had made one of my top. :) Q/Q
Great hummus, lively vibes, and filling portions—but keep an eye on the service and pita. ⸻ Food: We tried a solid spread of dishes that showed potential, with a few hits and minor misses. • The Cilantro Jalapeño Hummus was the highlight—creamy, flavorful, and well-balanced with just the right kick. Unfortunately, the pita bread fell short; it lacked the softness you’d expect and turned chewy and dry, making it hard to enjoy as a scoop. • The Spicy Wrap was satisfying and packed well, though it didn’t quite deliver on the “spicy” promise. Flavor-wise, it was good, but could benefit from a bit more seasoning to make it stand out. • The Vegetarian Bowl was a win—filling and well-portioned, with the flavorful pilaf acting as the hero of the plate. The falafels were crisp, and the salad and fried pita chips added freshness and crunch. • The fries were nicely seasoned, and served fresh and hot, great as a side. Service: Service was average—not terrible, but not seamless either. We didn’t receive plates until we were nearly done with the appetizers, and the ones we eventually got were wet, which was unexpected for a restaurant of this caliber. Other than that, the staff were pleasant and the food arrived in good time. Ambience: The outdoor seating area is beautifully done—string lights, warm wood, and ambient music made it an ideal spot for a relaxed evening dinner. The space strikes a great balance between casual and cozy, and it’s well-maintained both indoors and out. Pricing: Pricing was reasonable and worth it for the portion sizes. You can expect a hearty meal that doesn’t break the bank, especially considering the quality of most items. ⸻ Overall Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5) Pita Kabob is a great casual dinner pick with strong Mediterranean flavors, generous portions, and a fun outdoor vibe. Some small tweaks in service and pita texture would take the experience from good to great.
We ordered and ate in the deli. I had the Greek salad and added chicken swarma. It was good. A bit plain. 3 olives, 2 tomatoes, 4 garbanzo beans and a tablespoon of feta. All of the ingredients were fresh there just were not enough of them.i got a side of pita. Skip the pita it was too thin, cold, tasteless. I also had the fries. Get the fries!!!
Nice clean place but inconvenient downtown location. My sandwich was good. Carrot cake was very flavorful but it'd be perfect if the muffin part wasn't too dry. I must have come on a wrong time or so…

I loved the shawarma fries. An abundant serving of perfectly seasoned crunchy goodness. I'd get this as an entree. The lamb wrap was just ok.
I’ve been a long time customer of Pita Kabob and have always been very happy with the quality of their food while dining in. It’s always seasoned very well and I enjoy a lot of the unique flavors they offer. Unfortunately, many policy changes have really ruined the dining experience for us and our group over the years. First, they discontinued taking reservations, making it very difficult when meeting in a large group. Due to this restriction, there’s been several times recently where we’ve been forced to dine outside-only and in less than favorable conditions (100+ degree weather in the summer and sub-50 in the winter). Now they’ve begun implementing a mandatory family-style meal for groups over 10 people. These meals are designed to feed about 5 people in total, but makes it difficult to coordinate when our party is made up of several smaller groups of two or four. Not only does it complicate things when it’s time to pay the bill, but also does not account for everyone’s varying tastes and preferences when ordering. Additionally, and this is maybe by design, it forced our group to spend about double the amount of money on our meals compared to normal and order way more food than necessary or intended. Tack on an automatically applied 18% gratuity and you’re looking at spending a lot of money on a meal that was really not your preference to order. While I’d really like to consider supporting Pita Kabob, it’s become an inconvenience to dine in. Sadly, they have also discontinued accepting to-go orders over the phone and anytime I’ve used their online ordering, we wind up with cold and soggy food due to the over abundance of sauce and inability to communicate preferences with an actual human. Pita Kabob has always been a favored spot to meet-up, but we might need to consider other venues that are more accommodating of our needs until some of these things go addressed.
Food 6 Service 9 Atmosphere 8 My filet mignon was a little tough, I'll begin with the opportunities. I'm not sure if the pilaf was smoked because it was a little hard as well. I'm used to soft pilaf, bulgar ect. The pocket bread again was tough, sort of chewey, not toasted like I'm accustomed to. The good, the hummus was exquisite! That alone may bring me back. I have been waiting a few to try and was disappointed. I've still to try the pies and the sandwiches.
We visited while traveling to sequoia national park. The atmosphere and service were good. The food was okay. I love the shawarma fries. The wraps were okay. We found them too dry. There were no sauces in the wrap making it difficult to eat. They were out of cocktail I asked for and they gave me the canned version.
Great portions and presentation! It was not bad but to me, the flavors were mid. The best was the fries-- golden light crisp on the outside, soft on the inside.
