Super nice people and always get the dimsum every time we go!
This is my favorite place to eat. There's nothing on this menu that isn't mind blowing and delicious. The staff in front is very kind and helpful. The kitchen staff puts out some of the most authentic tasting dishes from sea to land. They mastered every dish that comes out the back. I could eat here 5 times a day and still not have enough. Not literally though, because the portions of food for your dollar are well worth it here. My favorite dish would be the sweet and sour pork plate with chicken chow mein. You cant forget to grab some chicken fingers and/or fried shrimp with sweet and sour sauce for your side though! Best quality fried sides in the central valley, hands down. This place keeps me coming back. I can write poems about this place
Great Chinese restaurant! We ordered Mongolian beef, hot and sour soup, beef fried rice and honey walnut shrimp and all was amazing and very good size portions. We will be back for more and try everything on the menu. Thank you!!😊
Best Chinese food in the area hands down. Excellent Orange Chicken. Outstanding Beef with Broccoli. Perfect spice level and unbelievably tender beef for their Mongolian Beef. The fried rice and chow mein is extremely tasty. Good sized portions and price is very reasonable. Highly recommend
The food was amazing The service was amazing The egg drop soup was so incredibly good I can’t wait to come back!!
I hardly ever do reviews but I was very impressed by the food at The Jade. The food was fresh, amazing flavor, and a lot larger than i had anticipated. My husband had the Mongolian Beef and Chicken; it definitely had a kick to it but not unbearable. I ordered the Beijing Chow mien with shrimp and it had a kick as well but milder than the Mongolian Beef and Chicken. I think we paid an average of $16 for each plate. I felt like it was a great value for the quality and quantity. I literally drove from Tulare to Visalia because none of the Chinese food in Tulare is that good. I will definitely make that drive now when I want Chinese food. Highly recommend!
You get a lot of food at a great place. I ordered a number 2 dinner combination last night and I could barely finish it . Fantastic meal at a good price. Pius the employees were very nice and friendly to me. I definitely recommend this restaurant and there is plenty of parking available. I give these people a five star rating. Good job everyone. Food here was good and the place was very clean. Best chow mein I've ever had, orange chicken was good, and the fried rice was okay. Waitress was super nice and friendly, but I felt bad that she was the only one there, having to run around 5 different tables of people to order and bring their food, including mine. There was a sign next to the front door saying that they were in urgent need of waitresses. Despite all this, the wait wasn't very long and my food came out HOT meaning that it was cooked fresh! I also ordered a Thai tea which was very sweet, and honestly the best Thai tea I've ever had. As I'm typing this I'm realizing that I wish I had ordered a Thai tea to go lol. There were some reviews complaining about the *lack* of customer service, that the waitress didn't refill their drinks, ask them how the food was, etc. It took absolutely no effort for me to simply call the waitress over with an "excuse me" when I needed something. She was always happy to help :)
Delicious. Definitely a good quality place to enjoy Chinese, and not very expensive either. I got the pork buns and one of the dinner combos. The buns were extremely light and fluffy, the sweet and sour chicken was well cooked on the inside and had a very nice crunch on the outside, and lastly, the chow mein and rice were nicely flavored and not very greasy. Also, I got this take-out and got to eat it about half an hour after I picked it up and it was all still amazing.
Friendly employees & great food! Only spot I know of in Visalia offering steamed buns/dim sum.
Always great food with fresh ingredients and delicious. My favorite is the Mongolian beef and my wife’s favorite is Kung pow chicken. Steamed rice is always fresh and moist. It’s the best Chinese food in Visalia. We’ve eaten here mainly whenever we crave Chinese food for the past 10 years. It’s alway been a great choice.
This is our favorite Chinese restaurant here in the valley. The food is fresh and not greasy.
portions are huge and way bigger than on menu previews!, great food, flavorful and always hot and served fresh. and for generally affordable prices... (considering the portion sizes) this is a must visit place if you ever come around.
We drive 35 minutes to Jade whenever we have a craving for Chinese food. Everything we've tried is yummy, but The drunken shrimp and walnut shrimp are our favorites. You've got to eat here!
This is my families FAVORITE place!!! The food is ALWAYS FRESH!!! Yun is the sweetest lady on the planet and my family adores her 🥰 We don’t go anywhere else but her 💯💎
The quality and taste is as good as any Chinese in Visalia. My family has eaten the Jade since they opened and have never been disappointed. The portions are generous and consistent. Staff is always friendly and efficient.
Jade is the real MVP of comfort Chinese in Visalia Jade Chinese? Instant favorite. This spot is serving exactly the kind of Chinese food that hits the soul — comforting, flavorful, and surprisingly next-level. We were huge fans of the chicken chow mein, especially with those super crispy, dry noodles (whatever they’re officially called — they’re the real MVP of texture). That crunch paired with the savory sauce and tender chicken? Perfection. Even better when you combo it with their chicken & bean sprout entrée — a total sleeper hit that doesn’t look flashy on paper, but delivers big in taste and balance. It’s clean, satisfying, and totally addictive. We also went in on the Mongolian beef (solid, well-executed) and the orange chicken, which has now completely taken over my kid’s life. She won’t stop talking about it. Every meal request since has been: “Can we have Jade?” This place isn’t just good — it’s the kind of good that makes its way into your weekly routine without even trying. From crispy textures to bold flavors, it’s clear Jade knows what it’s doing. A true gem in Visalia. 5 stars. No notes. (Except maybe bring a backup order of orange chicken if you have kids — you’ve been warned.)
Only been here a few times but I’ve never had a bad meal. The food is really good, served piping hot and huge portions. It’s a quiet little spot with plenty of seating and parking. I usually get their combo dinners but am looking forward to trying some of their a la cart entrees in the future! Will be back for sure!
I’ve consistently had great food from Jade for years! Friendly staff and good food portions too. The staff pulled through with a custom non menu item: Crispy Salt and Pepper Pork with sweet and sour on the side. Thank you!
Quiet and cozy. Food was amazing and the staff/waiter/ owner was friendly, polite, and courteous. We’re from Corpus Christi TX. and we’ll definitely come back on our next visit.
I haven’t been here for a while, and I’m so glad I came back today! The food tastes even better than before, and they’ve added some new dishes — especially the Vietnamese 🍜 , which is absolutely amazing! 😋 The broth is rich and flavorful, the noodles are perfectly cooked, and the portions are generous. Definitely one of the best spots in town for authentic Asian flavors. The staff is friendly, and the service is quick. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious food and great value!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
The food was very good and tasty. The Singapore Noodles, Salt and Pepper Fish, Jade Fried Rice, Pork Bun, Shrimp Dumplings and Sesame Ball all tasted wonderful and filled my Asian palate craving. My wife and I will surely return to try other items on their menu. Service was also excellent.
I am so stuffed and didn't even get to finish my plate because it's was a lot of food but no lie I got what I paid for ! The flavor was spot on and delicious well cooked and presentable. The restaurant did seem like Asian cuisine but I'm surprised no music I felt like everyone could hear everything I said. I will definitely eat here again wonderful and how convenient it's close to my part time job perfect for a lunch
The shrimp dumplings were SO good I loved popping one in my mouth and having that burst of shrimp flavor hit my tongue. YUM! I've always wanted to try dim sum I've never been to a place that has had it so we also got the steamed pork buns, very good I was surprised at the sweet flavor. I definitely want to go back and try the rest of their dumpings and buns!! I was also so happy they had a kids menu my son's favorites are corndogs and chicken nuggets and fries! Haha glad me and my husband could enjoy Chinese food while my son could just enjoy regular kids food.
It is the most modern interior of a Chinese restaurant I have ever experienced. The food was generally delicious, especially Jade Fried Rice. I recommend that Bang Bang Shrimp is unfortunate to be special. I went there because it had the highest score among nearby Chinese restaurants, and it was okay.
To many good things to list, I would recommend this place to anyone. I brought my wife and 19mo daughter here. The waitress understood the mess we kinda left. We walked away with 3 to go boxes. The servings were big huge. You will walk away with more then half of your meal!

Im surprised to say that in a world full of declining quality, taste and customer services, this was the absolute best Chinese food I've had in my life. Great portions, authentic flavor, nothing in the taste of texture that feels poorly executed. I'm shocked reviews arnt higher. My new signature spot for that tasty old school Chinese. Egg foo Yung and gravy absolutely phenomenal. This place knows what their doing.
This restaurant is so nice! The people that work there are pleasant and respectful. I drive from Tulare to come here because of the excellent service and delicious food. I would say if you want the best Chinese food and the best dining experience…come here!!!
Innovation and Picasso guide your chefs. The staff is a cheerful bunch. And cover but dont hover approach is spot on.

My daughter and I enjoyed a nice lunch at Jade on the recommendation of several family members. First, the negative, they were very, very busy, and it seemed like they only had one server. She did fantastic considering how many people were there, but we waited at least 20 minutes before anyone even acknowledged we were there. Otherwise, once we were sat drinks and soup came fast. The food all came out piping hot, fresh, and delish! Portions are large, and prices are very fair... well, except soda is way overpriced. Overall, I'll totally go back... maybe call ahead and take out next time, though. Pictured pork bao buns (chewy lovely dough, well seasoned tender pork)and potstickers (so crispy, amazing juicy flavourful filling). Both very good. We also shared orange chicken with chow main and fried rice. We have enough leftovers for at least 2 more servings!
We decided to try the food here specifically the dim sum. We were not disappointed the Service was excellent and the food was tasty. The Sesame Balls were sweet and savory. The Pork buns were soft lightly sweet clouds of dough filled with Pork delicious. The Hakaw Dumplings (shrimp) 💣 Our favorite of the trio. We did also share a lunch plate and that was also really good. Would definitely eat here again.
I ordered General Tao's chicken and it was pretty good. Not spicy like the General Tso's that I find in Washington State but still good. Wasn't sure if it came with rice or not so I ordered a small order of Jasmine rice and I'm glad I did because the rice here is delicious.
The realist chicken I have ever had at a chinese restaurant. I didn’t know what to do with those sauces I was given I’m guessing it’s for my orange chicken since I didn’t seem to saucy compared to the pineapple and sweet n sour chicken. Although large portions for good prices at lunch 11am-3pm. And the fried pot stickers were really good.

9/15 Update: I had to lower my previous rating. The establishment is clean and service is always nice, but on our last visit we had a not so good experience when I found a bug in my soup, I discretely told the server and she quickly brought me another one. My granddaughter also had a not so good experience when she opened the lid to her Sprite and discovered a much larger bug floating in it. I don't think that we'll be back. I'm very disappointed as this was our favorite place.

They're food is great, but they're service in the last few months has gone to hell. I ordered 1 plate tonight, and was quoted 45 minutes which is jaw dropping, but I went with it . After going down to pick my order up at the 50 minute mark, my order was not ready, there was only 4 tables sat, none had food. And 9 other people waiting for to go orders. After waiting 30 minutes longer (a total of 1 hours and 20 minutes) I asked how much longer for my order to hear "be patient please". When in reality I've been extremely patient already and so has everyone else, and this has been my 3rd experience in this manner which is the only reason I'm writing a bad review, 3 strikes and you're out.
The food is really good and our waitress was very kind, BUT after everyone at my table got their food and were almost done she finally came out to tell me my dish would be 2 more mins. I don't understand what happened there but it was definitely not good. Needless to say I canceled my order as everyone else was almost done. Maybe I'll come again and things will better. Also, 2 iced teas is almost $9.00 what the heck is that?
I ordered the combination plate with the sweet and sour chicken you could tell the chicken had been reheated the chow mein was cold, they charged me $8.59 for two iced tea's so I wasn't very happy about that. Overall I'd probably find another Chinese food restaurant in town before I went back to this one for sure.
Food, not worth the price. Anything fried was definitely not fresh. Most of our food was reheated. Service, one of the two waitresses were pleasant and attentive. Price, way overpriced for the food, atmosphere and service. We ordered a half order of shrimp. A full order is $13.29 the waitress said a half order was "less" got our bill the half order of reheated shrimp was $12.29 and when I asked her about it her response was "I said it was less and it is, I don't make the prices" My kids wanted orange chicken and chowmein only. Those plates were $18!! First and last time trying that place.
I ordered Pork Chow Mein, Egg Foo Young n fried shrimp. The chow mein had TINY, TINY pieces of pork (no flavor), I have NEVER had egg foo young in yellow sauce n the bag the shrimp came in was dripping with OIL. My first n last time I would eat from this place.
The absolute worst Chinese food anywhere, and I've traveled extensively. I ordered egg rolls which is a good place to start for a new place. They were too greasy and filled with cabbage. That's it. If there was anything else in them, you could have fooled me. Two stars because they were fast. I'll never eat here again. I definitely don't recommend this restaurant. BTW. I understand that restaurants are trying to recoup due to the virus, but they could have added carrots, celery, etc and improved the egg rolls.
The food tastes great. However, we found extra protein in our orange chicken. I did not ask for a refund but I did show the waitress the bug we found in our food. Last week we saw a roach on the wall but we decided to ignore it, not the case today. I did suggest a Pest control inspection.
The sesame balls taste a bit burned but sweet center, the dinner soup is decent. My dish was a bit below room temperature. The sweet and sour chicken was a bit fatty and crunchy very odd mixture. The chow mein is nicely heated, is not too oily as it usually is at other restaurants but can not finish. The broccoli was crunchy but also room temperature. The egg rolls are oily and burned on opposite corners. Food is pricey here you definitely do not get what you pay for.The waitress was sweet but too sweet for her sake, being overworked here. Poor girl was running around alone. That lovely girl is the reason I give it one star. Hope the food doesn’t give me food poisoning 🤐

Our unprecedented there we didn't get service execrable the server look directly at me and just ignored never came over to the table the table were dirty and sticky my husband and I walk out first time last time execrable horrible place definitely never will go there bathroom were dirty future reference have a better waitress customers service not ignored the customers. Namaste
I went to this restaurant because it was near where I was running errands. I ordered War wonton soup And it was $16 which I consider to be a high price but I thought I was going to get a really great soup. I asked for some extra broth, but told I would be charged three dollars. I was surprised when she gave me a 20 ounce cup of soup versus an 32 ounce which most restaurants serve. To be honest, this is the worst War Wonton soup I've ever had! It was just meat and wontons, no vegetables. The meat in the wontons is usually ground pork, and this was ground pork sausage, which was disgusting. My order took 15 minutes, and there was only one other person in the entire restaurant. I would not recommend this place even to my worst enemy.🤢
