Love this place and can't wait to return. Ambitious menu with unique flavor profiles. The character buns are tasty and so cute. Mamas fries are yummy and after you dip a fry in the sauce make sure to tap the plate to pick up more of the dry ingredients. I also enjoyed the cucumber noodle salad. I can't wait to try more dishes on this menu especially the ramen and noodle dishes. Fun, playful place where your stomach will enjoy every dish. Staff is very kind, friendly and attentive.
We had chicken katsu, High Noon ramen, and buns. I absolutely loved the chicken katsu — it was super crispy and flavorful, and the katsu sauce was really tasty. The ramen was spicy, rich, and full of flavor — definitely something I’d try again. The buns were so cute and colorful, with a mild sweetness that balanced everything out nicely. The service was good too — the staff was friendly and our food came pretty fast. Overall, it was a fun first try at Japanese food, and I’d love to go back and try more dishes!
Honestly, pretty good. The service was great and the waiters were very friendly. The food tasted really good and the buns are delicious. The food came out fairly quick. Definitely will come back.
Omg harumama never disappoints!!! We had the bao bao pork although they did change the recipe to Romain lettuce it was still good!!!! We had the pig buns with dipping sauce and it was delicious!!!! Lastly I had the flying pig and it was soo good!! Although my partner had the garden party ramen and I might get that next time it was really Good!!!!
Went there for the soft opening and had a great meal with my family. Can't wait for the full menu to open up when they're officially open. I've never had brussel sprouts on my ramen and they were an unexpected tasty surprise.
Tried the character cow buns, so cute and good too! The yakisoba and harumama ramen was delicious as well! I would go back and try some other dishes next time! 😋
This place gets it right, simple menu, good choices. Very busy, come early for dinner. We did 4pm, perfect time, missed the rush 🏃♀️🏃🏃♂️. Very friendly, great service. Ordered two Skillets🔥, one Teriyaki Salmon, one Rib Eye. Super hot🔥and delish.
First time here and got to tell you that I love this place! I am not a big fan of ramen so I tried the chicken teriyaki and it was so delicious!! 😁 Then for some little dessert I tried the bunny Nutella. So good!!! This place is great! I am not local but whenever I can back here I’ll be stopping here to eat ✨🤗.
Food was great! Hot and fast to the table!
Such a good atmosphere and great food. I had the drunken noodles and they were perfect. Great family dine in spot too.
The food and drinks were delicious and Kipp was a very sweet and helpful server! The kitchen was able to accommodate my friend who has a sesame allergy which we very much appreciated. I'll definitely be back!

Great service and amazing food. Ordered the Flying Pig Ramen with Pork Belly and a Bao Bun with Pork Belly. The Pork Belly meat is so good.
Got a seat here pretty quickly on a Sunday evening. The food was good and service was great! The waitress was nice and attentive. The restaurant was very nice looking inside and was honestly not loud at all. I was shocked there were a few times when suddenly the restaurant fell silent; I LOVE that because I'm sensitive to noise. The only issue I ran into was that the larger stall in the women's restroom has a broken lock; it looks like it works perfectly, but if someone just barely pushes the door in, it flies open while you are on the toilet...I know from experience. I even tested it over and over afterward, and the lock is totally useless. I did let a staff member know.
Came here to celebrate my daughter's birthday. When we arrived (on a Sunday) around 6pm, we were told there would be an hour wait. We really wanted to try out this location so we agreed. About thirty minutes later we were messaged that our table was ready. We weren't hungry enough for ramen, so we opted to get a few buns and try out the Bulgogi Fries along with some edamame. For drinks, we got a glass of cabernet and I tried the J Pop Lychee cocktail in a can. It was really good! The Bulgogi Fries were the star of the show. We loved it and devoured every bite. The sizzling plate is a nice touch and guaranteed to arrive HOT. We ordered some character buns but also go the pork belly and spam bao buns. I think I preferred those over the character buns only because the meat was more pronounced. In the character buns, it's sort of a paste that they put inside so the flavor is very muddles. They are very cute though! Total was about $85 before tip. Service was good. The restaurant is very small and it was quite busy. There is plenty of parking nearby and they played great hip-hop/pop music overheard. Overall we liked it and definitely will come back for some ramen.
They have something for vegans, low carb choices , dairy free options and fun drinks. Went here for a girl’s night and it was great to try all the different things . They have ramen and udon. Very clean with super nice staff.
As expected , the same delicious menu and great taste as other harumama locations . Stopped by on a Monday afternoon and was seated right away. Food came out quick , layout and lighting is nice and makes it all enjoyable . Highly recommend this and any other Harumama Locations !

The food was good. I had the crispy chickie. The broth was the best thing. The chicken katsu was a bit salty. The noodle texture was too soft for my liking. The animal themed baos are more for the aesthetic. Flavor wise there is not much to them.

LOVE Harumama in Carlsbad village however we ordered from vista village because we moved close and they forgot some of the order and then continued to not answer the phone.
We love the Harumama chain as a whole, but this location is unfortunately not on the same level as the other locations we frequent. Many times we have been disappointed with our service. More often than not, things we want are 'not available at the moment' even though its still earlier in the day. 'Our drink machine is down'. Last visit, not only was our order wrong, but our food came out at completely different times. I get a few minutes, but when 1/4 of your party is done eating before the rest of your party even gets their food, thats just disappointing. While we will still be frequenting their other locations, we will likely no longer come to this one unless its just to grab some Bao Buns... if they have them available next time that is...

I won't say it was the worst, but it was close to it. Sushi sauces were either too sweet, too heavy, or too watery. Fries and ramen had no flavor, not even salt. And the bulgogi beef fries was too sweet caramelized and burnt. Honestly, not good.

Worst ramen I’ve ever had sadly. It literally tasted like noodles in lightly salted milk. No good flavor to the broth. The buns were mid. Not worth the price. As for the service it was basically non existent which is surprising since it’s such a small place. Not many tables to attend to. They forgot to bring several things I asked for and never checked on us. Had to wave them down finally to get what I need. The women waitresses aren’t the friendliest. All in all crap experience. I remember the one in Carlsbad being much better.
