Great food, great service, and great lattes! My wife and I went here for the first time and will definitely be coming back.

Nice atmosphere. Clean. Friendly and prompt service. Eggs Benedict is highly recommended. 9/10 breakfast. Will definitely be back for more.

So, normally I'd have taken a photo of the before... but today the chicken came out of the kitchen smelling hot, crispy (yes, it SMELLED crispy), and irresistable. So, here is the damage I did... and even ordered an extra side of gravy for my leftovers. A+ in all categories, including craft espresso and soda options... extra cherry on top: an amazing family. It might remind one of a nostalgic breakfast spot that lost its sparkle... there's a reason for that. ;) Will shout from the rooftops: BEST BREAKFAST AND LUNCH IN NORTH COUNTY. 🖤🤍♡🦍♡🤍🖤

WOW! Don’t hesitate go now. Cappuccinos are fire, eggs Benedict are light and perfect, and the silverback cinnamon roll French toast with chicken was incredible! Add a great atmosphere and top notch service from our server Valerie, and you hit the jackpot. They pre split our meals, and gave us a free cinnamon roll for our honeymoon. We’ve be to 3 countries in the last 3 weeks and this the Best breakfast we’ve ever had!

I go almost every weekend they're food is very good and the staff are great.

This place is awesome I had Conner as a server he is top-notch and one of the best servers I have had anywhere. The coffee is great and bottomless. The food is delicious and served hot, eggs cooked to perfection. Very clean dining area. Love the decor of the dining area. Everyone here is super nice and attentive. This is a very nice family restaurant you will not be disappointed here.

WOW, This is Great family run restaurant that serves Great Food. I have a few meals here and have not been disappointed. I am awed with the high quality of the service in this new place. I will be trying to post a pic of my California Omelet. Good thing I took a pic before I cleaned the plate. We returned for another plate of awesome House Hash of corned beef.

The outside of this breakfast place is deceiving, because it's absolutely more than just a hole-in-the-wall breakfast niche. Fantastic coffee menu, fantastic and full family and kids menu for breakfast. Staff was very warm and tentative. Seeding was spacious. Will definitely be coming back here to try other items on the menu.

Staff was so friendly, I saw them make multiple people’s day. The kind of place where you buy a T-shirt and proudly wear it, or where they will care to learn your name. Food was excellent too, the cinnamon roll French toast was delicious. Wish we lived closer to come more!

Wow. This is a great find. I was first put off since there was a long wait. But like Disneyland the ride makes the wait worth it. The food selection was good, actually better than good with reasonable prices. But the service was exceptional, thank you Cesar. This place is worth every penny. Clean good family environment.

Stopped in today for brunch with friends, the whole establishment and food is great. There was a bit of a wait during rush time in the breakfast hours, but it was definitely worth it! Great service from Cesar and everyone there seems so happy. Looking forward to going again, hopefully sooner than later. I highly recommend the chicken fried steak for breakfast, it was honestly best I've ever had. Very big portions, I had to take a lot home. Comfortable seats. Again, I highly recommend! ..... Went there with my husband for the first time and we absolutely loved it!! We both got different benedicts and they were both so good. We also split a pancake (which was massive) and some fries! Everything we had was delicious and we most definitely will be going back, we found our new breakfast spot! Not only was the food incredible, the staff is very friendly and kind, we had Jesus and he was awesome! He had great recommendations and was very attentive! Highly recommend!!

This is a typical American-style breakfast—large portions accompanied by numerous sides. The food is excellent here and never disappoints. It would be nice if there were more places for people to sit outside while waiting to be seated, considering the wait (especially on weekends) is very long, and there are no reservations.

1st time visiting Silverback Breakfast, Sunday morning around 10:am. Very busy. Be prepared for a 25 to 30 minute wait to be seated. Very good service and our waiter was extremely helpful and courteous. Both our breakfast was fresh and delicious. Very clean restaurant and cool inside decor.

Love this new gem! Interior is decorated really well, very inviting. Staff is attentive and helpful. Husband and I each got specialty lattes which were not only delicious but the names were so fitting to the restaurant theme. Food was excellent. I opted for a grab n go meal - breakfast sandwich - and it was perfect. Will definitely be back!

Hands down the best breakfast in North County! Stop in for a family owned restaurant that serves up great food in a fantastic atmosphere. I had the chicken fried steak, girlfriend had Chilaquiles with black beans and both dishes were hot and delicious. We will be back, and we will be telling everyone to come!

Food was disappointing but service was a 10+ fresh squeeze oj was too tart to drink. Prefer a sweeter oj this seemed to be made w oranges out of season or not meant for juicing. Chicken fried steak was flat, crunchy and very little gravy.. I took home and tossed. Eggs were weird..like egg whites or something idk. Small amount like 2 bites and done.. and my white toast was 2 giant pieces of sourdough so.. overall.. waist of money and threw it in the trash at home. Potatoes were spot on delicious 😋

We arrived a half hour before closing time… they were completely happy to add us to the wait list and seat us right up until closing time. Food was DELICIOUS!!! We had a cappuccino, coffee, south of the border skillet (AMAZING!!!!) and a Corned beef skillet… food came out pretty quick, they came around and asked if we wanted to add any food or espresso drinks before shutting down the machines! I thought that was a great touch!! Definitely worth the wait to sit, huge delicious portions, and super friendly staff!

I enjoyed breakfast at Silverback. The food was good but what was excellent was the service. Cesar was our server and he made sure to check on us constantly and was very detailed when taking our order. I will definitely go back whenever I'm in the area just because of Cesar's excellent customer service skills.

It was an hour wait but it was worth waiting. I got the Asada breakfast burrito. I started seeing the other plates and I thought I may have made a mistake but oh did I not. Was perfect potatoes were great everything and it was wonderful. I can only half and eat the other half at lunchtime. Definitely a family atmosphere and everybody was very attentive. This restaurant lived up to the 4.9 star rating! It should be 5 stars! Service was phenomenal, simple and cozy atmosphere and the food is delicious! We came in for breakfast. We are from Texas so I’ve waited a year to finally try this place! Wife ordered Hash Slinging Benedict. She said it was the best Benedict’s she has ever had. Loved the housefries. I ordered the country omelette with hash browns. I also got the biscuit. You get two side options with the omelettes. You get more bang for your buck with the omelette choice. The gravy has sausage pieces inside of it. The omelette comes with chopped up sausage inside. Hash brown is cooked perfectly. All you need to do is dressed it or season it how you like. I am looking forward to coming back here. I want to try other dishes! Got my eye on the country fried steak. I highly recommend trying this place!

Great place! I took my brother here for his birthday, employees here were so kind and everyones making sure your service is good and greets you with smiles. Pancakes were perfect! They were so fluffy and bacon was crisp, eggs were fluffy and fresh. My brother got the kids pancakes and they were adorable!! I got the matcha, it wasn't the best matcha i've ever had but their coffee was good! Cinnamon rolls are also a must try! Definitely a new favorite (and prices are AMAZINGG). Would absolutely order both of these items again. My boyfriend had the Spider Monkey Latte (not pictured) and the South of the Border Skillet (pictured). The latte wasn't for me, but he really enjoyed it. And his plate was completely clean, so safe to say the skillet was also AMAZING. The restaurant was a little busy and loud, but I feel like that's to be expected with a place with food that delicious. Staff was incredibly friendly and timely. 10/10 recommended. And we will be coming back to try more!

We were automatically greeted and seated by a very kind host. He sat us down and gave us exceptional service. The food came in less than 10 minutes. We ordered breakfast and it was amazing! All the food we got was absolutely delicious. It has a very wide array of kids foods and a coloring book station for kids of all ages. It was a great experience, everything was fresh and delicious. 5 Stars!

We also had the veggie skillet with potatoes and added chicken sausage. All looked good and flavored well. It was busy, so the wait to be seated and get our food, after ordering, took awhile. The food was great but I was craving some biscuits and gravy… which tasted like sweet desert instead of salty and savor. Our waitress said there might be something wrong with that morning batch so it’s not how they commonly make it💔

Great breakfast find, worth the wait! Coffee lovers- they have a flight of coffee on the menu. We arrived around 10am and waited about 40 minutes. There were 7 of us. They do have a couple chairs outside. Plenty of parking in the lot with street parking available if it's full. Very attentive staff which came around plenty of times when coffee was low. Our food arrived all at once which always provides for a positive experience. The coffee was great and the food was wonderful. I will definitely be eating here again. They have a senior and kids menu.

I really liked that they have latte options, which I don’t ever find in other breakfast cafes. I got an omelette and my friend got the asada breakfast burrito, which was huge– he only finished half of it.

Food is good, but depending on what dish you order the value for what you’re getting seems to fluctuate. I feel that this cafe is a little expensive for what it is. Service is very good, but it’s hard to leave paying under at least $40-50 if two people get an order of food and a coffee drink.

We decided to try a new breakfast spot and were seated quickly—probably because it was a Friday morning and most people were at work. I ordered their “signature” French toast and chicken, but as soon as I took a bite, I knew something was off. I flipped the toast over and saw that the entire back side was burnt to a crisp. I let the waitress know and told her I didn’t want a replacement—I’d just finish my coffee and eat the parts of my meal that weren’t burnt. She said she’d take a couple of bucks off the check, which seemed fair. Cool. A few minutes later, she came back and said, “Instead of taking money off, I’m just going to have the chef remake a small piece for you to take to go.” I told her no—I didn’t want that. Just bring the check. But she insisted, saying the chef was already making it. At that point, I had to be a little more direct: “There’s no need to remake it, I told you that. Please just bring the check so we can leave.” After all that, she ended up taking $3.00 off the meal. Honestly, I’d still give this place another shot. I just hope the waitress understands that no one wants to drive around with a single piece of toast in their car. It’s nothing personal—it was just completely unnecessary, especially after I had already said no. Yes I left a tip. I’m not a jerk 😉.

Nothing more annoying than wanting to try a new place then was told there is a 30-40 minute wait for table yet when you look around there are 5-6 empty clean tables available with 3 groups of 2-3 people waiting outside for a table. Makes no sense to me , we eat out often and we understand usually but not this time. We went somewhere else
