I really enjoyed our breakfast there. Service was great and we really enjoyed eating outside. I had the moms combination and my daughter had the spinach omelette. We both enjoyed everything. Highly recommend.

I live in the area and had been wanting to try Mom’s Kitchen for quite some time since I moved here. The atmosphere is nice and I love small mom-and-pop cafés or restaurants. The staff are friendly, even though I came in not such a talkative mood this morning for breakfast, they were very polite. The waitress even offered me coffee to-go on my way out. The food was good. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and only spent $17.65 (including a 25% tip) The only reason why I gave four stars out of five is because there wasn’t anything special or unique to me about the food. they don’t serve my usual barista-like beverages such as chai latte or any espresso drinks really. so if you’re expecting a latte or cappuccino for breakfast, I wouldn’t come here. However, if you’re looking for a classic all-American breakfast, this is the place. For mornings I don’t feel like cooking, I would definitely return here.

The food was really good! We ordered the machaca plate and it was delicious. The food came out hot, I feel other places the food is ready and sits for a bit. But here it comes out right away.

So cozy and relaxed. The servers were awesome, the food was awesome, the cute little pink water cups were awesome, the music was a vibe and suited the vintage decor, and the coffee was perfect.

This is a great spot in Vista Village for breakfast!! They are open to 2pm daily. There are roasting specials in addition to the regular menu, and they also serve alcohol

I placed my online order on the Door Dash App this morning for my breakfast meal. This is my first order and my first time ordering from Mom’s Kitchen. I ordered the Frenchie it comes wit 2 thicker slices of French Toast with cinnamon, confectionery sugar and I chose to add the sliced sweet strawberries for the topping. Their bread slices Morgan their manager t called her and spoke to her today. Morgan said their thicker bread slices is from Oasis Bakery. Their bread was very delicious used as their French Toast. I love their thicker slices versus thin slices of French Toast elsewhere. The Frenchie includes 2 eggs of my choice and a bacon or sausage. My choice was the 2 Scrambled Eggs and 2 Bacon Strips. The price is $14.00 but I added the strawberries so it’s an extra charge of $2.00 more. My total was $16.95. Then I ordered one regular size orange juice. The price is $3.95. This breakfast meal , the French Toast is the best tasting I have eaten in a long time. These 2 Scrambled Eggs are fluffy and delicious. The 2 Bacon Strips was very crunchy and very flavorful. The orange juice was very good and lightly sweetened. My delivery fee was zero. The service fee was $1.88. The tax was $1.72. The dasher tip for Vania I chose was $5.50. My total bill was $30.00. I charged my order to my credit card account today. I highly recommend Mom’s Kitchen.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! Really friendly staff and amazing food. The combination of these things are what keep us coming back over and over again! Also the location is great. We love to sit outside and enjoy the weather. This is one place that makes me wish I could give more than a 5 star review.

I had breakfast at a small historical spot called Mom’s the other day, and it was a great experience. The service was friendly, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere had a cozy, nostalgic charm. Kudos to both the cook and the waitress for making the visit memorable! As soon as you walk in, you can feel the history in the building—but despite its age, everything is well-kept, especially the bathrooms, which were impressively clean. If you're looking for a great breakfast and a welcoming, old-school vibe, I definitely recommend stopping by Mom’s. Don’t forget to say hello to the amazing staff!

What a great little mom and pop shop in the heart of Old Vista. I ordered the chicken fried steak and was not disappointed. Had a side of home fries which were good but nothing above and beyond. I will mention that the chicken fried steak had a very nice crust on it and I was pleasantly surprised because it was also drenched in their delicious gravy. My partner grabbed the machaca super burrito and the burrito earned the title super due to its amazing size The server. Katy was hustling and she was by herself and always had a smile on her face. First time .Was busy on a Wednesday morning. We had the chicken fried steak which was delicious. Toast was buttery great tasted. Service was great, Alyssa was handling all the dinning area. It's a small restaurant but worth the wait.

Fantastic breakfast!!! It was everything we wanted and more. I highly recommend the bacon and hash browns. They even have gluten free pancakes! We also had fantastic service. Our waitress was a sweetheart. Great prices and speedy service! Also love their Halloween decorations!

Wonderful freely staff best coffee I never ran out my whole meal always a full cup and then the breakfast was absolutely amazing everything cooked just right hot fresh cheesy! So delicious! We had the ABC omelet with home fries and Philly omelet and hash browns both with coffee and sourdough toast

Very happy with the food and service! My friend and I visited for a light breakfast on a Monday morning. We were able to order one salmon benedict and split into two plates served hassle-free. Super yummy 😋. Our server was very friendly as well. Definitely recommend this place!

First time here. I ordered the cinnamon roll pancakes with eggs and bacon. There was a slight issue with getting the wrong order but the waitress was swift to resolve the issue. Very friendly, staff. Food was fantastic. Highly recommend!

Great little breakfast spot (and I mean little!), full of locals who know they can rely on the consistent quality and generous portions here. Feels just like the small town coffee shops of the 60s, with excellent service & food. Home fries just like my mom made, and the best biscuits and gravy! Great seasonal decor and creative specials, too! The “Fried Egg the 13th” is awesome!!

Great place. I love their bisquits and gravey. Sadly it was not hot this time. This is a constant complaint everywhere I order these. But usually here, they are piping hot. Not this time sadly. A bit better than warm, but barely. Must be an aberation because I will order them again.

Small dining area, but we loved the place. Service was fast, we loved our meals. Chiliques red sauce for 1 and green for the other, chorizo and eggs, and a Monte Cristo for mom. She missed the powder sugar sprinkled on top and would have liked a better choice of jam.

I ordered the breakfast sliders (sausage egg and cheese on biscuit with side of gravy and hash browns. She had Chilequiles, it tasted good also. If sitting on a hard wooden chair is a bit difficult for you, I do recommend bringing a chair pad for a bit of comfort. Folks are nice, work hard, and tend well for the customers. I also noticed this building is a very old one and has history.
