We absolutely loved everything we tried here. The steamed buns are so fresh & delicious. The Mongolian beef and the noodles were perfect. Will definitely be back!
We overall had a nice dining experience at this restaurant. We ordered the Mongolian beef with fried rice, stir-fried noodles with shrimp, and shrimp octopus balls, and every dish exceeded our expectations. The Mongolian beef was incredibly flavorful and perfectly cooked tender slices of beef stir-fried with onions and, savory sauce. It had just the right balance of sweetness and heat, and the portion was generous. The fried rice was fragrant and well-seasoned, with vegetables that added a nice crunch. The stir fried noodles were equally impressive, featuring a medley of shrimp, green bell peppers, and onions. The noodles had a great texture, and the sauce was delicious without being too oily or heavy. As for the shrimp octopus balls, they were a delightful surprise, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, topped with rich mayo, savory sauce, and bonito flakes. A must try appetizer if you love Japanese and Chinese fusion bites. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, with clean, well arranged tables and a calm ambiance that made the meal even more enjoyable. The server was very polite, attentive, and ensured we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. Highly recommended for anyone craving flavorful, well prepared Chinese cuisine with excellent services.
I just left King Noodle and was really impressed. The restaurant is extremely clean. The floors, tables, and kitchen area all looked spotless. I got the chicken fried rice and a chicken noodle dish, and both were delicious. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The service is fast, and it is a great place to get some grub. I paid $32 in total. Definitely worth the visit.
This place is very clean and modern design. The dining experience is nice. I ordered the steamed pork buns and the Mongolian beef at the recommendation of the waiter. I wasn't a big fan of the pork dumplings. It tasted like freezed pork buns you can buy at the grocery stores steamed. The Mongolian beef on the other hand was amazing. It had a great flavor that went well with the steamed rice. The fried noodles soaked up the sauce and made it amazing. I don't think it would be to good to get with fried rice or I feel it might be to salty. I would recommend the Mongolian beef and maybe next time I'll try the spicy beef noodle soup
Y'all better not sleep on this place. Such a hidden 💎. Octopus balls, steam pork dumplings, hibachi steak amd shrimp with fried rice. Their chill oil is killer. Heavy on the peanut (which I like), and the spice is just right.
This place was awesome! Service was quick and so was the food. The staff was friendly and checked on us often. We had the spicy beef noodle soup, orange chicken, Mongolian beef, pan fried dumplings, pork buns and fried rice. My family wants to come back every time we visit Waco! The noodles were freshly made and on point! The inside was pretty cool and we enjoyed that as well.
We usually get shrimp and broccoli which is always good. I tried the coconut shrimp tonight and it was very yummy. Thank you for the great service each time we come😊
Everyone really enjoyed their food. Large portions. Good ambiance. We will definitely be back again. The seating was nice and the waiter was mostly attentive- we usually had to ask for refills or any items like sugar or sweetners. I ordered the sesame chicken which was excellent! The pan fried buns were pretty good. Everyone liked the dumplings. The soups are HUGE!
King Noodle caught my eye, so I decided to give it a try! I am very pleased with my experience and the food!!! When I went, I was immediately greeted and seated, my waitress, Kenny, was very welcoming, attentive and friendly. The calmness of the atmosphere made it easy to sit and enjoy my food there. I ordered shrimp tempura, Mongolian beef with a side of fried rice, and all of it was absolutely amazing. The flavor & texture! The shrimp tempura breading/crust was so crispy, and The Mongolian beef and fried rice were mixed and seasoned to perfection. I finished all of my food feeling very fulfilled.
Didn't think I would find a Chinese restaurant that made it's own noodles in house on waco of all places. Noodles have a nice chewy consistency. Dumplings don't skimp on the meat. My one minor gripe is the savory dishes here are a little on the sweet side but that's all personal taste.
Food was excellent. Fresh noodles, I was sitting the opposite way but my family said they could see them making the noodles by hand. Everything we ordered was good and our waitress had a phenomenal memory as my dad preceded to order at least one item from every page. We were all a little hungry so by the time I remembered to take a photo the pictures is all that was left. I overate to my discomfort but no regrets! Will be back there soon!
This food was really good. From the egg rolls to the jasmine tea, general tso, and beef stir fry- I recommend it all. The food was delicious and piping hot. I got the General Tso and it was the perfect level of spicy. 10/10 recommend.
Dined in and got the Mongolian Beef. Perceptibly sweet, but not overly so. I also prefer less sweet for my Asian food in general, so I think most people will be fine with, or even prefer, the level of sweetness. The dish was not overly-sauced and the steamed rice that came with it was well-steamed and well-proportioned. Service was good and the interior decor was nice. Will return with friends to try some of their steamed dishes / have a family style meal.
Absolutely blew my socks off! High quality fresh ingredients. Rich beautiful broth. My wife’s orange chicken was cooked perfectly! Amazing sauce . My spicy beef noodle soup was so good! So fresh! Restaurant is so clean and modern, very cool vibe!

Came to this restaurant on my way home from Dallas, and I'm glad the reviewers got it right. The restaurant is newer and well space out. The menu is on the smaller side for noodles (more rice dishes and noodles and soup). Overall, not a deal breaker considering what they have is very good. I ordered the crispy pork noodles and soup to share with my son (I wanted the spicy beef soup, but my son can't eat spicy). Despite it not being spicy, flavor is very good. The noodles are made fresh, and you can see the chef making everything fresh to order. The portion side was good, and I was able to share it with my son. I saw other people ordering dumplings / dim sum and it does look good. Next time, I will probably order some. Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant and give it a try if you are in the Waco area.
Was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this establishment. They run a very tight ship here which I respect. Food was fresh and most was handmade, from noodles to dumplings, to steamed buns. We received our food with little to no wait and staff was very friendly. Our waitress did a great job of attending to us, without being overly involved and was professional. The inside felt very clean. Tables were clean, condiments were stocked, and the kitchen looked well kept. The workers stayed busy and seemed professional. Aside from the higher prices, I would definitely come here often. Given the quality though, I don’t mind. I don’t typically leave reviews for places, but it was such an impressive experience I had to make sure to. Great work!
I put 5 star for atmosphere, even though I did a pick-up order, due to the service being excellent. My order was ready and hot! When I opened up my sesame chicken, the first thing I thought was, this is at least 2 servings. The flavor was amazing!!! While I really wanted to eat all of it, I just couldn't. I will be back, and I highly recommend King Noodle in Waco, still have this wonderful lingering flavor. Oh, the price is average for dining. Soooo good!!!

Average food. I ordered Wonton with szcheuan sauce and a shrimp with broccoli dish. The wontons were very doughy and the fillings very dense, the prominent taste of the dish was the dough. This was disappointing. The other dish was just ok.
They have a variety of options from hand pulled noodles, dumpling and bao appetizers, hibachi and fried rice options. Customer service was very helpful and attentive. We enjoyed their spicy beef noodles and the pan fried pork baos - though they were smaller in person than the menu photo shot but were very tasty. I also had their sesame noodles (forgot the actual menu name) and it needed more sauce so wouldn’t recommend that one. And their soup dumplings were dry - not enough liquid. It was still soft opening when we visited so they had some seating closed off due to still working to install signage and decor. Overall, would definitely recommend the hand pulled soup noodle options!
The stir fry noodles had great flavor but they were extra extra slimy along with the chicken. The flour noodle meal with the peanut butter sauce was NASTY. The noodles had no flavor besides mushy and oil and the peanut butter sauce was definitely not used after we tried it. The fried rice had a great flavor with plenty of garlic but the chicken we had in it was also slimy. The waiter was not very helpful with our questions about the menu but he was attentive and made sure we had what we needed. Can’t say I’d return here for the meals we ordered but I’d POSSIBLY give the hibachi a shot? As long as it’s not slimy. 😅 Also no kids meals are available or kids portions.. paid $12 for fried rice for a one year old….. we all got to try it and was good enough to take home but I wasn’t expecting to pay so much for my little one to eat.
They have nice service and ambiance, but taking into account the Chinese food that I'm used to in Dallas, this place was quite mediocre in comparison. Nevertheless, this place could be the best Chinese food in Waco, who knows? The dumplings were quite good, and the cucumbers were ok but the habachi was really mediocre. I guess I would come again if I'm craving Chinese food while visiting Baylor University.

I purchased the orange chicken for $13.99 and added the uncharge of noodles for $4. The noodles were totally plain. No sauce, no veggies, it tasted like boiled wheat noodles. I expect for $4 more they would at minimum have a sauce or a few stray veggies thrown into it. The chicken was OK. It was burnt but also very obviously not breaded in house. It tasted like freezer and had the soggy breading of freezer. How it was burned and soggy is a new experience for me. The spring rolls I ordered tasted good, also soggy. The cheese wonton were decent but also very obviously not made in house. For the prices I would expect the food would be made fresh from scratch and not all from a freezer. This place was recommended on a local page and I was excited to try it. I will not be returning.

The service was good, and it was pretty busy, so we came in thinking the food would be good considering the lunch crowd in such a small restaurant. While the server was attentive, but not over bearing, we were incredibly disappointed by the bland food. The hand pulled noodles were either over worked or over boiled as they clung and stuck together and were hard to eat. We got pan fried pork buns and soup dumplings. Soup dumplings lacked flavor and the pork dumplings were dry. Sesame chicken was overcooked and hard to cut while the fried rice lacked much flavor at all. The veggie in it tasted like they were from a frozen bag. No shade to frozen vegetables, but to still have freezer flavor in bland fried rice was disappointing. I still gave 2 stars for the service and vibe of the restaurant.
