I go often. The food is amazing and yes I'm biased toward latin cuisine. My favorite meal is the Garlic Chicken with yellow rice and beans. The empenadas and tostones are great if your feeling like a nice snack later. I love this place!

We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. The boyfriend got the stewed chicken and potatoes lunch special. I got the roasted pork lunch special. OMG the pork was delicious - tender and flavorful. I loved the homemade hot sauce mixed with the rice and pork and beans. The chicken stew with potatoes was equally yummy. We also tried two of the fresh juices and smoothies. I got the pineapple power - super refreshing. The boyfriend got the green mountain (spinach, kale, banana, apple, and mango) - so delicious but incredibly healthy. You will not be disappointed by stopping by. They were also super friendly and helpful!

I eat here once a week AT LEAST. Even if I have to drive over a half an hour to get it. There is no juicier pork shoulder in the 518!!! The fresh juices are amazing and the fruits and veggies are always vibrant and FRESH!! And most importantly they keep this place CLEAN!!!!

I just moved to the area and was craving Spanish food. Beef empanada was fresh and delicious. I also got the pernil lunch special which was also amazing. Portion sizes are nice too. I'll be stopping in every chance I get!!!!!

Decent prices, especially what you get for the portions. and the sauce they serve with the empanadas is delicious! rice and beans were seasoned well, and the plantains were also fantastic.

I pass this restaurant all the time. On this day a friend invited me to Jazzercise so afterwards I stopped in after Jazzercise to see if I could grab a bite for dinner. I was very pleasantly surprised; while it was a very big location it was cozy, clean and light. The food looked fresh and appealing. When I asked the young lady how much for dinner she stated $11.00. I said in that case I will take 2 I will have one for tomorrow. There were about 6 or 7 meat choices. I selected baked chicken for one and stewed chicken for my other. I also selected to put yellow rice and pinto beans for one, and yellow rice and black beans for the other. I was so excited to get home and shower 🚿 from working out and be able to enjoy one of my meals that I left my cell phone. I got home, showered and was about ready to dig in when I realized it's quiet I haven't heard any pings for messages from my phone. I was looking all around the house, upstairs downstairs, and went back out to the car. NOTHING!!! It now hits me I must have left it at the restaurant. I throw on something more decent to go out of the house. I get to the restaurant after almost two hours. I walk in and the young lady immediately says you left your phone. Let me tell you she made my night!!! I could have kissed her. People don't always do the right thing! By the time I get back home my friend calls and she says I was calling to see if you had your phone as someone from the restaurant went over to the Jazzercise studio before the instructor left and told her someone left their phone in the restaurant. The instructor started to call around trying to find out who left the phone. I informed her it was me but I'd already gone back to pick it up. While the food was very good at the restaurant I feel the honesty and respect of the workers are incredible and that will definitely have me patronizing this restaurant every chance I get!!!!! 💜

It's a quality natural food juice bar and eatery. I went to get smoothie ended up getting a juice. I got my own mix of fruits, roots and veggies. The barista was pleasant and I loved the juice as well! Going to be stopping by more often!

The amazing food at Mi Ecuador Juice Bar is authentic Spanish cuisine. The empanadas are perfection. The hot sauce they make with jalepenos is spicy and adds a nice kick to rice and beans. Every dish we've ordered never disappoints and it's like a flavor explosion in your mouth. Just love it there.

Wow this food is everything you would want and more. You can definitely tell everything is made with love! Green sauce rocks. Plantains were melt in your mouth delicious. When I placed my order I asked for a recommendation on a smoothie. I said I needed energy. Well they made a fantastic good tasting healthy smoothie for me. Honestly it did give me the energy I needed to get through the rest of my day. Thankful to give business to a privately owned restaurant. Support local business. I will definitely be back.

My husband and I went in a few weeks ago and this place is legit. The staff were friendly and eagered to help. They really take their time on preparing your food but the wait was all worth it ! We enjoyed the green smoothie it's made fresh with all natural fruits. I had the shrimp salad and it was exquisite, husband had steak and onions and he couldn't put his fork down. i absolutely loved this food! they're a small family owned business and i would definitely recommend stopping by if you like spanish food. i ordered yellow rice, black beans, and roasted pork. it was amazing!! also, the salsa on the side was perfect, it was jalapenos and garlicky. the atmosphere is cute and the staff inside are just the absolute sweetest. i will definitely be back!!

This place is so underrated! Cute little mom and pop restaurant. The staff is kind and attentive. I work near by and all my coworkers have been raving about “Mi Ecuador” and today I finally got to try it. Everything was simply delicious. I had a vegetarian plate with yellow rice, black beans, and plantains. My fiancée had the roasted pork with yellow rice and black beans. I snuck a bit of the pork and it is absolutely mouth watering 🤤 seasoned to perfection and so tender. The portions are large, and easily shareable. We also ordered an avocado salad with everything (onion, tomato, and cucumber) and the Wake up call juice. Both were made with fresh fruits and vegetables. Honestly I am so impressed with this place, I am writing this review in the car on the way home! I highly recommend this restaurant 10/10

“Rensselaer’s hidden gem.” MZ Mi Ecuador should be top on your list for economical, ethnic, and tasteful sensational experiences. A wonderful experience full of food made with love. Tender meats, perfectly cooked rice and beans, and also heaping loads of the aforementioned fill your plate. The lunch special is $12, so it is definitely bang for the buck. Stopped in around lunch time but the place was not packed with people, though it was filled with enchanting aromas, Ecuadorian trinkets, and fun music. Anytime I’m in the area and hungry, I know where I’m going.

I was in the area for training and this restaurant is literally within walking distance of the complex where I had my training. My coworker and I stopped in there today and they have two new fans for life. I had salmon yellow rice with black beans and a passion fruit drink. I will be back in Albany the week of July 10th for training and this place will be a staple of my diet that week lol

Before I get to the reason for my 4 star review....I love this place! I’ve been coming here with my family for a long time. The food/service is absolutely amazing. In particular, the pernil mofongo is out of this world and my all-time favorite dish. Their smoothies are amazing too. My husband and I come here often. We live in Niskayuna but the drive is worth it. HOWEVER, I cannot give the restaurant a 5 star review, as much as I really want to. Today, as we were dining in, a man came in without a mask on. With the exception of this man, all patrons were wearing a mask except while seated and eating. The tables were adequately spaced out. There was a sign on the door that said a mask was required to enter. I felt safe dining inside - until this guy walked in. When the man came in, other people inside were visibly uncomfortable. One of the patrons actually left and waited outside until after the man left. This man was clearly a regular. I heard him say that he would “get the usual”. He was not asked to put a mask on. No one said anything to him. I am concerned about and disappointed by the way the restaurant handled the situation. I was seated with my husband who has pre-existing conditions, as well as my 10 month old baby girl. Sadly, I will not be returning to the restaurant until Covid-19 is no longer a threat. It’s unfortunate that the restaurant doesn’t enforce its clear policies. We will miss the amazing food until we can safely return.

The food is amazing especially the pernil/lechon, but they have jacked up their prices very high and that's why me and my friend have stopped going there. Even their supposed lunch special prices have been jacked up.

Can't say enough good stuff about this place! Great Latin food, huge portions and very reasonable prices. I will warn you, that if you are going to order off on the menu and not get one of the already prepareed foods, you are going to have to wait as they make everything from scratch. The wait will be worth it, trust me....

I like this place. It's clean, and the people are nice. I wish they had wheatgrass, but their food is really good! I recall my lunch being around $7 and it was easily enough for 2 days with good quality meat. I recommend the pork.

Food was very good - however the customer service needs improvement - I have to ask who can take my order - then guy who took order was extremely nervous - he was nice but he needs social skills - my concern as Latina is To keep customers coming - it is hard to find good Latino food around. More customers and good customer services are fundamental to continue running. Good job offering vegan drinks and healthy staff - great idea!

I like this place a lot they make really good juices. Food is fresh and the service when you stop in is wonderful. I often order on DoorDash and my only complaint is that the consistency in the amount of chicken they give for my favourite dish happens to vary every time I get it other than that I’m always Pleased good job folks

I think this type of food doesn't really suit itself for takeout. It's best served fresh, at the table, with sauces and accoutrements. I wasn't really impressed with anything except the pernil, which I got as a side in a whim.

I was super excited to go to an Ecuadorian restaurant, it reminded me of home, the food smell delicious and taste good, the place was clean and nice, but I feel they brought one of the worse customs from Ecuador idk if it was because my husband is an American, but when they served us our food the portions were a ripoff, half scoop of beans same with the rice and I can barely talk about the protein, when my husband saw it (I look at him and feel embarrassed, because this is my people) so I ask for a portion extra of protein that of course we were charge extra. So , I’m not making this review to make them look bad but to make them realice that Ecuador Can do better, serve a full portion to all people and make them fell happy that they came and paid the money that they paid. Americans love Spanish food and they will go but if you don’t give them the right amount they won come back.

Horrible experience for the 2nd time- everything I asked for was bad , the rice was like plastic, the pork shoulder was salty and cold, the beans like they were poured out of the can straight to my plate, walked out and left the plate at the table

The food tasted good overall even though it was so salty that we were thirsty for hours after eating there. The smoothies where it hit Or Miss. my friend's smoothie was just tasting a bit too earthy. Mine was good though. Both of us ended up getting food poisoning. It might have been the goat meat that probably was sitting out there for a long time We also thought the place was a little bit pricey for not having any atmosphere to speak of And you take your own food away
