Love the extra crispy chicken, they should have it all the time. Cold slaw was delicious but I miss the corn on the cob!!

Honestly have been here few times and the staff is great Really friendly and helpful I had the spicy chicken sandwich for the first time tonight. It was awesome. I have been in the restaurant industry since 1991 and can tell these are good people. The freshness was a plus. Might just become my new go to place

Never make mistakes and get their KFC bowls. The really make them proper as hell. Wantagh KFC makes the bowl 500 times better then all others. If you live near one of the other horrible KFC spots on long island. The wantagh branch will make you remember why KFC is great and worth the trip

The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and efficient AND they all get bonus points for not murdering the 3 HORRIFIC customers who came in after us...one lady wanted 3,000 of EACH sauce, then two other jerks, ugh, I could never do that job. Good for you KFC staff with your patience 👍🏻

Not a bad KFC. I don't understand many of the bad reviews for this place. They did sort of mess up the chicken in a bucket I shared with my Mom (the breading was lacking on some pieces) but mistakes are bound to happen sometimes. No place is perfect. My main complaint is how greasy the chicken is, particularly the bone-in chicken. It's WAY too greasy. The Grilled Chicken is quite dry.

I came back to KFC in Wantagh and the chicken was great! The tenders were great! Everything was great except for the biscuits...they were hard...hot but hard! I paid separately for them thinking I was gonna get fresh ones but I didn't! I'm very I'm very upset! And complaining here and I'll call as well! Hopefully I I'll get compensated somehow!

This place could use a little love from corporate. We stopped by to try the new wraps, which were pretty good, but overall the place felt like a hospital to dine in. Also, there is no music or tv, so it was basically like dining in complete silence. I did appreciate the lamp shaped like a chicken bucket, so this place gets 2 stars for atmosphere creativity thanks to it.

2 visits and the food has been disappointing. It is either lack of communication at the drive thru or the over cooked chicken that's left over from a previous batch. You get to be the lucky winner when you get home and you have to eat it or sort through what's eatable and possibly throw it away.

Ordered a few items online to be delivered from Wantagh location. Delivery was prompt. One of the meals…12 piece nuggets was inedible! Literally…each piece hard like a rock. No phone pickup. Left two messages on an answering machine to have my card credited. No response.

This location consistently messes up my order, it's almost a guarantee that they're going to forget something. This happens each and every time, how is this possible? Also, just had a spicy chicken sandwich and the chicken was like rubber, inexplicidly chewy. Find another store, this location is poorly run.

The only reason this place is still in business is the location. The service is mediocre to bad, and the staff clearly needs training on paying attention to what's actually in a given order. It's not uncommon to wind up coming home without an item, or an item that got screwed up somehow. The latter is actually what finally made me post a review here; they slathered mayo on something that doesn't even come with it as an option, because I guess the person making it decided all sandwiches need mayo. Meanwhile I find mayo to be repulsive, and would have selected the option to have it removed, but again it's not even supposed to be on the sandwich, so there wasn't even the option to do that. Bumping to 3 stars because they replaced it but still.

False advertising about hours. Been there twice at 12am. And they were closed while the neon signs shows open till 2am. Never coming back again KFC SUCKS

Was out here visiting family. For Halloween and on our way home stopped over for some dinner home and of course when we finally make it home to BROOKLYN!! Came here for a quick snack.. The drive thru was empty so it clearly wasnt busy. I ordered a large mash potato with a drink. Went to this location Monday night. Google maps says they are open until 1am. I pulled up to the drive thru at 10:55pm. They told me they were closed even though there was a car at the window picking up food. I was disappointed and also had to drive in reverse to get out of the drive thru lane and hope that nobody would come zooming in behind me. I wish they would adjust the Google maps time if it needs to be corrected or stay open until the time that they advertise. I won't be back.

While I was in the line 2 customers came back with food that didnt had everything they had ordered, I had same experience twice there in the past and had to come back from levittown to wantagh and all they did is offer a free cookie. Decided to come back again after long gap and guess what, first she tried to charge me $2 and some change for adding a side order whereas it has a sign that says $1.29 and when I showed her the sign she said Oh I am sorry and then when I added 2 sides and found out that there was only 1 in the bag when i reached home and now I have decided to never go back there as I am not waisting my time at a bad Franchise.

The service is terrible on the night shift, there are some ladies who try Very bad. The customers yell at people as if they were going to hit you. They didn't give me my soda and threw it in front of me. I don't recommend this place at all. They need to hire young people with patience, not bored old people.

Beware of ordering on app- KFC refused to refund my money for an order they could not fulfill. My order was reported ready on app snd was also paid for. When I got there, the person did not tell me that it wasn't ready- she said wait over there. After 5 mins, I asked her what was the delay since the app said ready. She said the chicken had to be cooked and it would be 15 mins. I told her I was in a rush and couldn't wait. Asked her for a refund. She said she couldn't because it was ordered online. I called the online number 4x and asked for a refund only to be told that a certain department will call me back. Still never got a call back. It's been 6 days since I asked for a refund. Will never order from KFCs app again. I cannot believe that they cannot refund my money and that after so many calls, I still have not been refunded for an order I never got.

I ordered three pieces of thighs original recipe And an order of mashed potatoes when I got home and open my box The thighs I ordered looks like they came off of pigeon they were so small for the money I was charged I will never ever ever go back to KFC in Wantagh. Good evening, well went to KFC in Wantagh today to order wings and was told they don't have any. Then they forced us to purchase the wings and biscuits. It is slightly more expensive the way they sold it. This has been an ongoing issue. In fact, the pictures from the KFC website clearly show that they most certainly should be selling just wings when a customer requests them. Please avoid supporting this business as they are taking advantage of people who support businesses in the Wantagh area. I hope corporate steps in and fixes this ongoing issue.

Yesterday, the team member was rude and refused to give me a refund or replace order First they were giving an attitude my app said order ready at 8:10 pm and when I got there they told me something which I was confused because I'm calling them to make sure there was a lady acting up saying oh she didn't leave and the guy came and said leave to go wait for your food and come back with attitude he acted like he cant say anything just checking his bead when I say thanks. I don't know what they did or not my food tasted so bad even the drink I ordered fries with chicken tenders it tasted nasty the drink tasted nasty maybe they spit in it and I went back there and they closed the window on me he locked the window I knocked they refused to open I saw them inside talking but they didn't take Any action and I was mad I throw out the food in front of their store. Got a bucket of extra crispy chicken tenders. They were incredibly soft and almost not edible. It was as if I microwaved them the day after. The biscuits are chewy and obviously not fresh. The whole meal was worse than a leftover meal of kfc honestly because this was probably sitting out for hours before it was given to me. I should have listened to the other bad reviews and avoided this kfc.

Dirty tables while the manager walks pass them and doesn't do anything. This place also has sticky tables and smelly furniture. Definitely a stay away place.
