Currently their heat is out and dining-in is severely reduced. Call ahead. Also they severely underestimated demand and ran out of duck, squid, and fish by Christmas Day. Once again, call ahead. The food, as always was excellent and service was stellar. I'm sure these problems will be short term and they'll be back to 5 star in no time.

Very small portions, very little meat in any dish. We got a chicken dish, a pork dish and a beef dish and none had adequate amounts of meat, especially for the price given it was slightly higher priced that other Chinese takeout spots I frequent. The fried wontons were an rock hard abomination with almost literally no meat inside. Won’t be surprised if this place is closed within 6 months
Pretty bad ngl me and my husband just wanted to get take out and a lot of places were closed so we got jade palace as a last resort and i felt the need to say it was pretty disappointing

This has to be the worst Asian food that we've ever had. The outside of the restaurant looks really nice. The inside is the opposite. First, we walk in and there's only one occupied table (on a Saturday evening). We ordered our appetizer. The fried shrimp were hard and must have been fried more than once. The sticky sauce on the ribs was good until I found a long hair in it. On to the entrees... I ordered the Hunan Chicken. I'm not sure what the meat really was. It was mushy and stringy bits. It tasted nasty. After spitting out 4 mouthfuls, I decided to quit. My husband's Tso's Chicken was a bit better, but not by much. It tasted kind of weird. We won't be going back. It was a complete waste of money. I gave it a 2 star rating and not a 1 star, because the service was good.
Overall: disappointing on multiple fronts, I would not try this again. There are better options around. I’d give it 2.5 stars, but it’s certainly more of a 2 than a 3 if I have to choose. Delivery was on-time, but the food itself was lacking. I would not call this “authentic”, which is what other reviews say - I’ve had much better, and in my opinion more authentic, food elsewhere. Chicken lo mein was basically flavorless, tasted slightly sweet of anything. Chicken with cashews didn’t have much flavor and I’m not convinced about the “chicken” - some of it was full of fat and tendons, and other chunks I honestly think were tofu not chicken based on texture and shape of cut (perfect rectangle). Pineapple chicken was the best dish we had, sauce had some flavor and even slightly spicy and the chicken pieces were much better. That was the redeeming part of the meal. Egg roll had decent crunch but inside filling wasn’t very good and honestly I couldn’t even tell what it was. Useful info on portion sizing: their menu states “small/lunch” and “large” as sizes for dishes, rather than the much more common pint/quart sizing at Chinese restaurants. As best I can tell, their “small” is roughly a pint and “large” is roughly a quart. Hopefully that helps others know rough portion sizes.

I wish I could give 0 stars. There was something in our food and I can’t even tell you what it was. It was mixed with the meat and thank God it wasn’t eaten it but it looks absolutely disgusting. I rinsed it off to see if I can get a better idea of what it was and once the sauce rinsed off it looks brown and gray. It resembles cardboard but it wasn’t that either. We called and they do no refunds. Only a credit but why the hell would I want to eat here again. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!
🤢🤢🤢Absolutely disgusted! I ordered chicken and broccoli with the sauce on the side. Along with green beans. When I got back to work I finally had a chance to sit down and I open the chicken and broccoli and see a green worm! I turn the broccoli over more and see more worms and maggots. I called them and initially was told they don't give refunds. I went back the next day and showed them only then, would they refund me! How dare you 😤 as an establishment who is serving the public NOT wash your vegetables. Maggots in my food, I am very traumatized. You don't even deserve one star. And after I brought it to your attention you continued to serve customers and be open. Imagine if I had gotten the sauce on the food, I wouldn't have saw anything!! Tell your friends and family for their safety do not eat here!
Ordered Sesame Chicken Lunch. I truly tried to find an edible piece of chicken. Kept chewing & chewing and ended up with something like wood Pulp! Could not swallow. Ate some vegetable fried rice which lacked not only freshness, but flavor also. Disappointed to say the least. Wappingers Falls has numerous Chinese restaurants and all of them lack. Bummer.

Sad experience. Hot & Sour tasted like it lost custody of both flavor and dignity, so it delivers confused broth energy. The Chicken Lo Mein came with about three molecules of chicken, which is impressive considering I paid for double. The texture was so weird I started checking for hidden camera crews (chicken is too heavily velveted, which makes it taste spoiled). Two years ago this place was incredible, but now it’s hospice care with soy sauce. Even the dining room was empty on a Saturday night, which makes sense, because everyone else already escaped. The staff were nice, but if politeness could season food, maybe I wouldn’t be mourning fifty bucks and my taste buds. Jade Palace isn’t a restaurant anymore; it’s a cautionary tale.
STAY AWAY!!!!!!! It USED to be good so I drove 25 minutes to do take out. While I was waiting I asked to use the restroom and was told NO! I said this is a restaurant, dont you have a public restroom for customers. He said Yes we are just not letting anyone use it. Next, after spending $65+ dollars, the food was HORRIBLE. Worst Chinese food I ever had. We threw the entire order out. The risky noodles were even stale. Do yourself a favor and go someplace else, anywhere else.
Purchased General Sous Chicken asked for it to be cooked crispy. Ordered 2 2 Liter Diet cokes not only did i receive them warm both were flat. Chicken not crispy in fact not cooked long enough very mushy & soft. Should have spent the $50 on Pizza Will not order from here again. Will also suggest food does not taste Chinese enough.
Just had our food delivered. Spent a good amount of money. The general tSo chicken tasted rotten and so did the chicken and broccoli. Chicken was spoiled. Brought the food back to let them know and refused to give us a full refund . Please think twice about ordering from here! We won’t order from them again!
I’ve been going here for over 20 years but over the last couple of years the quality of the food has gotten worse and worse. Today’s order was so bland that I couldn’t eat it. Last time I go chicken and broccoli and they didn’t give me any sauce ! It was just dry chicken with steamed broccoli. I’m done with this restaurant. Not worth it.
Ordered delivery. Everything we received was burnt or overcooked. The boneless spar ribs were like eating beef jerky. The egg fu young was burnt and crunchy. The sesame chicken was so overcooked it was stringy. The shrimp were burnt to a crisp. The beef sticks were black. The best part of it was the noodles and duck sauce. It was crap food. Especially for the price they charge. No care taken in the food. We will never be going back again and will be telling everyone about it.
Don’t have dishes as the menu . Open at 12 noon . All lights were off without service . Won’t waste my time again .
Do not eat here! The health dept. Need to invesitgate this place. This is the first and last time I order from here. The food i ordered was spoiled. The general tso chicken smelled and tasted like fish which is a strong indicator its spoiled and could potentially kill you, which i didn't even know at the time. It was disgusting. The chicken wings were dried up and old and even the egg rolls were bad. My son wasn't feeling well after eating. Stay away!
We’ve been searching for good Chinese restaurant and, unfortunately, haven’t had much luck. We found Jade Palace and decided to try it. From the minute we walked in, we had doubts but decided to stay. The service was slow, though they did mention they were busy with phone orders, which I can understand. The server who took our order was pleasant. We ordered sautéed string beans and chicken with cashew nuts, both with brown rice. We also added vegetable dumplings to our meal. After a long wait, our food finally arrived. The dumplings were a letdown—they were oily and only cooked on one side. The sautéed string beans were the only saving grace of our meal. The rice was stale and cold, and the chicken with cashew nuts was greasy and didn’t taste like chicken. We couldn’t bring ourselves to eat it and informed the staff about our dissatisfaction. The service was slow and the food was not up to par. Our quest for decent Chinese food continues...
I ordered a combination, with plain fried rice since my daughter is allergic to types of vegetables, they cooked the foood in onions peppers and carrots. When I returned home. I called bc my daughter couldn’t eat the food since it was cooked with a vegetable she’s allergic too. When I called to complain, the lady tells me she not responsible and that next time I need to order without vegetables. Wouldn’t give me another order or money back. Hung up on me, when I told her she was not being understand to my daughters food allergies after asking for plain food. Will never order from that place again
Can someone tell me why my wife's chicken and broccoli smells and taste like fish??? Disgusting!!!

We are not a review people but I’ve to write this for piece of mind. We ordered take out tonight totaling $75 and incredibly disappointed. The General Tso’s was so CHEWY/rubber like, couldn’t swallow. The boneless ribs were plain SUPER DRY. Wonton soup was flavorless! How can a Chinese establishment ruin wonton soup? Worst of all was The “Crispy” Duck…rubbery fat skin atop four super slim slices of duck with a raw paste bottom. Horrible experience! Literally feel as if we tossed money in garbage
This used to be one of the best restaurants in the area. I don't know what changed. I just ordered a boneless spare rib combo plate, it was awful. The ribs were chewy and fatty with little to no flavor. The portion was small, the egg roll was tiny. The rice wasn't bad. Even the crunchy noodles and fortune cookie were bad. Both were stale. I am so disappointed. I have always recommended this place to people. Sorry I did. I don't usually post reviews, but this warranted it. I don't think I'll be going back. Sad to see they have lost it.
