I had an amazing bowl of meatball soup that was loaded with zucchinis and carrots, and it came with a side of rice. Everything was absolutely delicious.!! I don’t know if this is on their menu permanently, but it sure was a wonderful special!

We stop here every time we drive between Anchorage and Fairbanks. I love their Southwest Chicken Salad - fresh ingredients that combine to deliciousness! Yum!! My husband enjoys the carnitas.

Best fish taco ever in my life. Halibut is crazily fresh and tender compared to Anchorage places! Lengua is nice too, on par with the LA taco spots.

My friend has been raving about Tacos Cancun for months. I finally joined him for a meal. When we arrived, the line was out the door on a Saturday evening. No one complained. The food must be worth it. So many choices. It was hard to settle on one. I knew I wasn't going to have room for dessert based on the sizes of the plates coming out of the kitchen. My friend got the beef burrito plate with horchata. I got the beef enchilada plate with a strawberry margarita. The food came out fast - less than 10 minutes after ordering. I was surprised considering how busy it was with diners and takeout orders. Lots of seating. Great lighting. The bussers were doing a great job of quickly cleaning up tables and wiping everything down after people left. I thought it was cool that some kids came in for a meal with their fancy clothes before prom. And even though it was an order and sit down restaurant at still got complimentary nachos. The food was delicious. I've never found beans to be great. I'll eat them but never rave about them. These beans with cheese were filling. The rice was nice and fluffy. I got so stuffed that I barely made a dent in my enchilada. But I was excited to have leftovers for the next two meals. The drinks were very good too. I'm picky about margaritas since I know what great ones taste like when I lived in New Mexico. These were pretty good. I didn't order the "rub a dub tub" margarita but it looked interesting if you and a friend are thirsty. The staff from the cashier, the food runners, the cooks, and bussers were all top notch. It was a well oiled machine. Great job! Highly recommend this restaurant in Wasilla. You will have leftovers.

First I want to say I went here for the Saturday Nacho Experience and I was not Disapointed. Secondly for the prices it was very reasonable. The Trash Can Nachos are Glorious and Everything anyone would want. The ice was busy with family's, friends, and couples. I would say this is the best go to Mexican resteraunt in Alaska. I had a relative visit. They chose the shredded beef enchiladas. They stated they were the best also. So I will make this my new go to place to take visitors and friends. Thank you for the amazing food and great experience.

What a great place! We were on our way through and stopped on a whim and were thrilled with the results. Where to start? The food was the best Mexican food we've had in a long time. We both ordered taco salads and they were huge! The meat, peppers, and onions were perfectly grilled and the romaine lettuce added a nice touch. The avocados were fresh-lots of them--and it all came quickly and was hot enough that the cheese was melted on top nicely. They serve a bowl of chips with the meal and though it's a deli-style ordering service (which I actually like) the service was great. Lots of people and they kept things clean (even the bathrooms) and quick. It was also a good deal for the price I also liked the salsa bar, it's always nice to be able to choose your condiments in life! We're planning on stopping when we come back through to try the sopapillas, which looked amazing.

While the enchiladas were delicious the rice was very salty. The beans were just right. The portions were generous and the ratio was perfect. Thank you for adjusting my order to my satisfaction and for remaking it because my pickup was late.

The was good was pretty good and very large portions! The mild salsa was amazing! They seem under staffed, and the ladies working the front are killing it but definitely need more staff!

First off I wanna say I love the food. However I scheduled an order 1.5 hours in advance and still had to wait half an hour to get my food. It was the first time I used the website to place an order and I got a sour taste for using it again. The food is worth waiting for but when there is an hour and a half of time for it to be prepped, you really shouldn’t need anymore. I don’t know if this is a normal occurrence but I hope this can be addressed because I’d love to try again if this isn’t something I’ll have to deal with.

Did a pickup order and it was ready on time. The staff were friendly upon picking it up. My boyfriend ordered the halibut tacos, which he said were spectacular. I was having a hard time deciding what to order because everything looked fantastic but I settled on nachos. I’m a big nachos lover, so I can be a bit picky. I was not a fan of the guacamole, it definitely was not homemade but it was served on the side so that was nice. Also, the cheese could have been a bit meltier. I think they could have benefited from queso as well but overall, they were quite good. Obviously, they are shareable so the portion was substantial.

We order from this place often. Trash can nachos every visit. We ask for no jalapeños every time. Out of many visits, the kitchen followed the request twice. Every other order arrived with jalapeños. This points to basic operational problems. Key issues hurting the business • Failure to follow simple customer instructions. • No visible system to flag special requests. • No quality check before food leaves the kitchen. • Repeated mistakes with repeat customers. Food service depends on consistency. Guests return when orders arrive as requested. Allergies, preferences, and trust all matter. One missed request happens. Ongoing mistakes signal weak training or weak process. Fixes stay simple • Mark special requests clearly on tickets. • Train staff to read tickets before prep. • Add a final check before serving or packing food. The food tastes good. Service accuracy needs work. Repeating the same error pushes customers away.

I made the mistake of ordering the Deluxe Burrito from Tacos Cancun Mexican Grill for takeout, and I genuinely wish I hadn’t. What I got was one of the most revolting things I’ve ever put in my mouth. I usually love a good wet burrito, messy, saucy, full of flavor. This? This wasn’t that. At first glance, it looked passable. But the second it hit my tongue, I realized I’d made a grave error. The sauce tasted like it was strained from someone’s flu symptoms, thin, vaguely tomato-ish, and with a mucous-like texture I can’t un-think. And the ground beef? It was cold. Not room temperature, cold. And worse, half-raw. Not rare, raw. Like it skipped the stovetop entirely and got dumped in straight from the meat tray. It’s stomach-turning to think this even left the kitchen. If I’d taken just a second to look more closely, or known what kind of slop they were serving, I never would have brought this home. To make matters worse, when I paid, I got slapped with a 4% card fee, and then shoved into a tip prompt for takeout. The minimum suggested tip? Eighteen percent. For what, exactly? No one spoke to me. No one served me. Some server just grabbed the container of undercooked garbage, dropped it into a bag, and slapped a sticker on it like it was a biohazard sample. When I hit “skip” on the tip screen, she looked at me like I’d just insulted her ancestors. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this place deserves the warning. The food was inedible and possibly dangerous. The attitude was entitled. And the restaurant itself? Decorated like someone let a Hot Topic manager design a Taco Bell in 1998. In hindsight, I should’ve turned around the second I saw their website begging for cooks. That was the first red flag. But I ignored it. That’s on me. The rest? That’s entirely on them. I’ll never go back and neither should you.
