The food is classic Italian done to perfection: the tagliolini al burro is simple and divine, and the carpaccio is a must. The atmosphere is elegant and buzzing with a chic crowd. Service from Korra was impeccable—polished, attentive, and warm. A truly special spot for a celebration or a glamorous night out. Can't wait to return!

Cipriani Downtown was fantastic! The service was truly impeccable and the atmosphere warm and inviting. The Baby Artichoke and Avocado Salad with Shaved Parmesan..WOW! The steak tartare was excellent. We had the calf’s liver, which was absolutely out of this world, so rich and flavorfu! The rigatoni with zucchini was delicious. For dessert, the mille-feuille was so light and the perfect finish to the meal. Everything was beautifully prepared and the entire experience felt effortless and elegant. Highly recommend!

The place was really crowded and we had to wait though we had a right reservation. It is really noisy spot to chat with old fellows, but if you are for the first time I would recommend you to be ready for such atmosphere. Again may be because of the crowdness we had to wait for our meals either. We ordered several types of pasta and I would rate them 7 out of 10. For a dessert we tried their bestseller but I wouldn't say it was incredible.

Visited Cipriani Downtown for lunch and had a delightful experience. The baked white tagliolini with was good… think of it as a luxurious, Italian take on mac and cheese. I also tried the seabass pasta, which was fresh and flavorful. The staff were friendly, and the manager took the time to check in, adding a personal touch to the meal. The atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed, making it a great spot for a leisurely lunch. the prices are on the higher side…even by NYC standards. Highly recommend for a special occasion or when you’re in the mood to treat yourself.

Service at Cipriani Downtown is excellent. The staff was friendly, fast, and very attentive. It was raining when I arrived and they immediately took care of my wet umbrella and made sure I was comfortable, which I appreciated. The food was good, but definitely overpriced for what it was. Portion sizes were decent, and everything tasted fine, just not particularly memorable. I had the baby artichoke salad—I liked it, but didn’t love it. Their espresso is exceptional though. They bring out bread and breadsticks, but no butter, olive oil, or even a plate to go with it, which felt a bit off for a place at this price point. Ambiance is fine, pretty old school but not vintage / dusty feeling. Overall, nice atmosphere and great service, but there's definitely a mismatch between food and value.

A friend recommended it based on the "great reviews" about the place and the food. While service was great, the food was a big disappointment. I could not finish it. I got the veal, and the food was super salty, I know that I could have asked them to remake it, but honestly, it was not worth to me, the sauce just didn't taste well. The pasta my friend got was better, but it was a bit spicy. Let me be honest, any less than average Italian restaurant would have better tasting or similar tasting food. The place is crowded, tables extremely close to each other, but I know that a lot of people enjoy that. So if that's Something you like, you will enjoy the place. The place is clean, the staff were nice, liked the decor. But the food was blah. The dessert was really good, that's a plus. Go there with zero expectations, and you will have a better experience. Street parking was available, but I'm sure that's not the case on weekends.

The food and beverage were really good. Pasta was fresh and delicious and the bolognese style sauce was drool-worthy and fresh-tasting; this was unlike any Italian restaurant in the world! The gelato was not only flavourful but super creamy as well. Mojito was made virgin for me and that was amazing too! Service certainly needs improvement. The restaurant seems to not be aware of who the server was and the receipt shows the name of the cashier, not the server. On the other hand the server himself did not introduce mentioning his name to me when he first met me. I had to tell my server that it was my birthday when I’ve clearly booked my reservation mentioning that it was my birthday. He brought a cake slice to celebrate another customer’s birthday without the customer mentioning that. Only after I told him that it is my birthday, that too when it came to ordering dessert, I had my birthday celebrated by him. Then when I later asked him if he could take my photo he looked quite irritated and rudely took my photo when I presented to him my phone to do so. I also noticed that a different customer from another table was treated differently to me. She had her coat put on for her but the same was not done for me when I was provided with my coat. Moreover my coat came late and I had to ask for it again to get it. This was the treatment I received when I paid 20% tip while the customer next to me paid 18%. I also had a bill amount of more than $100 being a single person! Additionally, after my bill was presented, I asked the server to provide me with the pay machine so I can give him a tip. He asked how much I want to give and I professionally pointed it out on the paper. He then aggressively shouted at me in an agitated tone in front of everyone saying - you want to be pay 20%? I will punch it in the machine as 20%! The server’s attitude was very poor towards me when I had only been kind, polite with a warm smile throughout. Such service definitely reflects badly on a restaurant of this reputation. I strongly felt the customers treated me way better than this server! You guys certainly messed up with a high-paying customer on his most special day! Since my friend visited Cipriani in Dubai I decided to go here on his recommendation, however based on what I’ve experienced with Cipriani Downtown NYC, I would not recommend anyone to dine at a Cipriani as at the very least, you would expect to be treated with respect at a high-profile restaurant. The seating is also really congested along with staff walking in between chairs constantly. It is really uncomfortable to sit this way and it doesn’t make sense, especially at a restaurant that charges such exorbitant prices!

Luxury Dining Dining at Cipriani SoHo comes with high expectations. With its storied name and prime location, one anticipates a seamless experience—elegance in service, care in execution, and a pace that invites lingering. Unfortunately, our recent visit fell short on all fronts. From the outset, our waiter seemed inattentive. A simple request for sparkling water was ignored and still water arrived instead—an early indication that listening was not a priority. When appetizers came, we were surprised to find ourselves rushed through the course. Plates were nearly whisked away with food still untouched—at least half remaining. It was clear the flow of the evening was being dictated by the server’s timing, not ours. The wine service, too, was below standard. One glass arrived with a modest 3 to 5 oz pour, while the other was noticeably short—both inconsistent and far from the level of refinement expected at a restaurant of this caliber. Despite politely expressing that we were hoping to take the evening slowly and savor the experience, that sentiment was dismissed. The service remained hurried and transactional, robbing the moment of the indulgence and atmosphere Cipriani is meant to offer. In a space that prides itself on luxury, hospitality is more than polished decor and a familiar name—it is attentiveness, pacing, and respect for the guest’s experience. Sadly, this visit missed the mark.

So asked my friend to make a reservation right away for this place, since it has been always in my list and I thought brand speaks for itself. So I don’t have to worry about anything. However I was so wrong when I got here. First of all there is no space in between tables, it is so uncomfortable to walk+there is no A/C. Weather so muggy also. I saw a only one fan in the corner, which was not a bit help. I ordered a bellini and my friend ordered wine. But the glasses that they served these drink looked like this. These type of drinks should have been served with the glasses with stem. Tuna tartare was mediocre. Nothing special. Branzino which I ordered was so bald. It didn’t have any taste. I haven’t eaten the greens that came with it. It was too salty. To be honest I can comment on and on. But in a nutshell it was very disappointing especially for this overpriced place. May be we should have commented and let servers know. But they were sweet. I didn’t want to say anything and make my friend to feel uncomfortable. So we paid for it and went to other place for coffee and dessert. Honestly restaurant could have been much better in all terms.

I’m not usually a hater but this was not good… always down for a cute dubiously priced soho meal with the girls on a Friday, but the food was sort of below Olive Garden quality and the drinks were very poor. Mid wine list, kind of low quality cocktails. Highlight was by far the bread basket which is extremely depressing.
