Riot House Restaurant

Are breakfast and lunch during my stay. Breakfast was very good and the lunch was great. The crispy media luna chicken tacos and the tortilla soup were perfect. My server Jose could not have been any better. Highly recommend.

This bar and food experience was great. I did forget to take pictures. The waiter/bartender was not only helpful and very friendly....we was sexy ;-) The late night drinks and snack was just perfect. Total top notch experience.

very impressive contemporary decor with outstanding french-style food. portion sizes were appropriate. food quality is outstanding. service is very unpretentious and friendly. wine, which was a bargain, paired perfectly with the food. this is one of the best restaurants in la. (2nd visit) was as good as the first. one of the few restaurants in la of this caliber that has an affordable wine list.

Great place to eat. Very chilled and happy hour drinks are a decent price. The staff especially Jaylee is amazing. Very attentive and looked after my sister and I. Truffle fries and tagitelle were very tasty. After you've eaten, admire some of the artwork.

In my view this is primarily a restaurant attached to the Andaz hotel. Translation: very expensive for casual dining. That said, the breakfast was quite extensive with everything from fruit to meats and omelets to order. It is a nice space and the coffee was decent. Would I visit the space if I was not traveling - probably not.

Ate here because I stayed here but if I wasn't I don't think I'd go out of my way. The service was really nice. The guy was super friendly. It was pretty slow but it was also just him. The prices are higher but pretty comparable to other hotels. I got a vegetarian breakfast burrito and honestly it was a good burrito but I feel like $20 for just the burrito but no sides is a bit much for me. But that's just me. In reality it's a pretty average price. Anyways food was good, service was great, atmosphere is nice but overall nothing to write home about.

Went for brunch so can't judge too much of atmosphere but the small brunch menu had all the basics including delicious croissant breakfast sandwiches (2 small ones, not one big one) and their waffles were just the way I like them - crispy on the outside. I wouldn't mind going again but it wasn't anything to write home about.

I was in the area and wanted to have an alcoholic beverage while relaxing on a patio, watching vehicles driving down "The Strip." The only place open where I could get a drink, at that hour, 10:40 am, and only a Mimosa or Bloody Mary, was the bar at the Andaz Hotel, Riot House. Service was good but besides the drink charge, they add in a srvc charge, a RH benefit charge, food & beverage tax plus Ca tourism assessment fee. The waiter was personable so I gave him a 25% gratuity anyway. Too many hidden charges.

They don’t alert customers to this ahead of time, but they have a shady practice of adding an 18% additional “Service Charge” to your bill. Just because. When I asked about it, they said that charge is the gratuity. But there’s still a line for gratuity. And again, they explain none of this unless you ask. Seems deceptive, and I’m not even sure the Service Charge really goes to the servers. But I wasn’t going to double-tip either, paying 40% extra on top of the inflated prices. That whole thing left a sour taste in my mouth, and is enough for me not to return. The servers were okay, but I could hardly get their attention even in the mostly empty restaurant. One acted like she’d rather not be working at all. The other was nice. Still, slow service over all though. I’m staying at the hotel for a few days, but after that bummer of an experience the first evening, I won’t return. There are plenty of other options around that offer better food, service, prices, and no mysterious surprise fees at the end.

Riot House had awful food and service. Checked into the hotel on a Friday and went downstairs later that evening for dinner cause we were tired but wanted a bite to eat. They had zero servers or hostesses that sat you. The bartender was the only person working; taking drink and food orders and bringing out the food. We had to get our own silverware from a other table cause our table was not set. The food menu was very limited. I ordered the chicken and it was cold and still chewy the carrots that came with it were hard. I have to say the cooked kale greens that came with the dish was the only edible part. Overall food and service was awful and a rip off for such a nice classy establishment.
