The best Food! But, we ordered noodle - and did not arrive until we finished eating. So we asked again.. the waitress said somehow it was not in order. So ok. We finished our dinner and paid. At home i found they have charged the noodle. So the next day we got in this place and tried to claim.. and they refund it. Awesome service.
Wow! Talk about a pleasant surprise! We planned to go to Little Saigon to have dinner at PHO79 which we saw a video on YouTube but when we got there the line was crazy. So hopped on Yelp and found this gem close to freeway. There was a bit of a line but you can get on the wait list using Yelp. Extensive menu. Literally 100s of items. My son ordered the shaken beef and rice which was amazing. My wife and I shared the Thai seafood hot pot. And boy were we surprised as to how much seafood and quail eggs and veggies and rice noddle they brought with the broth. Bit stuffed and delicious lemon grass flavor. Two other table has ordered a huge friend fish which will be on on our visit here as definitely a must visit place in the heart of Westminster. Our bill was $48 for the two items that stuffed 3 people. Definitely quality, taste and value. We sat outside where they had plenty of heat lamps. Bonus. Open until 11pm.
Food was delicious and service was great. The outdoor seating was nice and the heaters made it all very comfy out there. I really loved it. The food was large portions and great prices. The beef salad and shaken been clay pot thing was my favorite. They also had flavored soju which was nice.
Good quality. Service is 'eh but let's be honest...Vietnamese restaurants are not known for good service. Very few Vietnamese restaurants offer good service with a smile. Not saying that the service was horrible, just not great or personable. Kudos goes to those who work in the kitchen, though. They are the real stars and, so, that earns them 5 stars for this review.
Love this place. I'm here every weekend, and it gets crowded from 7-10P. Enjoyed the heated outdoor area during the pandemic. Most people order the baked catfish and the family size hotpots. I would also recommend the following items: Mango grilled squid salad Pork and shrimp lotus root salad Sour catfish soup Steam clam with lemon grass Garlic buttered escargot Garlic buttered razor clam Grilled chicken feet (for the brave) Be ready for a blast of salt and MSG goodness.
ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL FOOD!!! I loved it all. The goi (mango salad with squid (my fave!!!)), the pho ap chao (fried noodles in seafood), and the shaken beef 😋 Pricing was really good!! Food was so devastatingly delicious omg I need more. Service was great and the ambiance was nice! Definitely am waiting for the next time I come here and I know I will crave the dishes I already ordered but the whole menu looks so delicious!!!
We had a table for 15 at Bien Hen Restaurant, which we booked a week before my mom’s birthday. The wait was only 15 minutes, and everything went smoothly. The servers were incredibly friendly and sweet. They sang “happy birthday” song with us haha. Such a fun moment!. thank you guys! My whole family loves this place !
This is a perfect valentine date place for marriage proposal. Everything is just perfect, from the delicious food to the cute waitors to the happy atmosphere. If you are a tourist, you should come here to experience an amazing time and save money.
Amazing food and quality. Me and my family go to vietnamese spot in OC whenever I come visit. Usually I order the grilled squid and either escargot or the razor clambor the hotpot, but today I am trying the shaken beef claypot and it never fails. Price is also extremely cheap for the quality food that you get. So far all the food item on the menu i tried never failed.
I love this Vietnamese seafood restaurant. I tried today with my parents. They really enjoyed the baked catfish, Chilean bass hotpot, razor clams and so much more. The restaurant is really cute with a beach/ocean theme decor. The staff is so friendly. Prices here are so reasonable and portions are good. Definitely would come back!
Amazing food at fantastic prices along with very good service. One of my favorite seafood restaurants in southern Cali.
Consistently delicious and fresh food. Highly efficient service. Quite possibly a worthy challenger of Oc & Lau. Actually, my husband enjoys this restaurant more. We'll be back!
Love this place! Take my family and relatives here all the time and everyone loves it. Really affordable for the dishes they serve. Service is always super attentive and quick. Food comes out soo fast. Nothing I’ve ever ordered here has flopped. Whether its fresh seafood, hotpot, curry, chicken, or chao!
Menu Highlights: Mango squid salad, seasoned grilled squid, fried onion catfish to wrap with vermicelli/lettuce/mint, and chicken wings (for the kids). They're all very tasty and delicious. You'll have to wait for at least 30-50min for the fish item since it's very popular. The other items came out pretty quickly. Prices are reasonable and parking is relatively easy to find. Their service is alright. I recommend getting here before 5:30pm especially during the weekend.
Authentic flavors from Vietnam! The best cat fish in L.A. The servers were very attentive, and dishes served quickly. Everything was a delight to taste. I recommend those with adventurous taste palettes try the seafood snails and steamed clams with lemongrass. Thank you for the wonderful service and delicious food.
My friends and I decided to try Biển Hẹn Seafood & Lẩu after one of them recommended it — and it turned out to be a truly unique experience! I was especially excited to try the fish with rice paper rolls, something completely new to me. It was my first time ever trying fish this way, and I have to say, it was surprisingly enjoyable. We ordered a variety of dishes, but my favorite had to be the grilled razor clams — they were absolutely delicious. The flavors here are definitely an acquired taste, but if you’re up for trying something different, it’s worth it. The food came out quickly, and the staff were friendly and attentive. While there was a bit of a wait to be seated, the overall experience was great. Best of all, the prices were very affordable! Definitely worth a visit.

Love eating here with the family! The fish and escargot dishes are amazing, and the hot pot options are always really flavorful. Highly recommend!
This place has been a repeat dinner/lunch place for my family and I, and they never disappoint. They have the best Ca Nuong in town and their service is always top notch! Will gladly recommend this restaurant for anyone thats looking for authentic Vietnamese food
Ate the seafood hot pot, chicken wings, peppercorn and garlic butter escargot, squid and more. Hot pot soup was a tad sweet, which I didn't mind, it was different and I enjoyed the variety of seafood offered and the sauces added a ting. Lots of flavor in the food. Escargot was a bit slimy for me while I was chewing personally, but it was a good first time for me, the seasoning was nice. The chicken is good contrast to all the seafood. Overall nice experience.
We went there to try the whole catfish which they are famous for. It was a fun experience but I wouldn't get it again. I would get the Shaken Beef and Mango Squid Salad again though - they were delicious and had a lot of flavor. There are many other options to try on their extensive menu. The service was friendly, helpful and prompt.
Food: I ordered their shaken beef, oysters with cheese, lemongrass clams, razor clams with green onions, scallops with green onions and their Thai hotpot. Their shaken beef was so tender and their pasta wasn’t bad-it had a buttery taste to it. I believe OC and Lau doesn’t parmesan while this place does. The oysters were a bit smaller too but maybe it’s not in season. Their clams were really big and the lemongrass flavor was subtle. I really recommend getting some sort of shellfish like clams or scallops and having it with the green onions! Everything came hot and sizzling. Their razor clams were chopped for you so it’s easier to eat. There is a green dipping sauce that I’d describe as a sour-tangy cilantro sauce and they give you Tabasco as well. Their Thai hotpot is worth the price. It comes with vermicelli noodles, fish, quail eggs, vegetables, large prawns, squid and clams. Service: Staff was really nice and caring. Random notes: There is outdoor seating and they are pet-friendly.
Clams, shells, snails, and more! They have hot pot and plenty of various seafood and meats to choose from. I think it's best to go family style with this. Add some rice and noodles and you have a great sharable meal! They have outdoor and indoor seating. It's located in a plaza with a good size parking lot, but it can get pretty busy with a lot of businesses going on. Recommended coming for an earlier dinner For food, we got the small clams, curry frog legs, snails, and prawns. The Prawns were my favorite! Super huge and flavorful. The small clams and snails were good too, but definitely on the more adventurous side. Overall, definitely recommend if you're visiting Little Saigon! Great selection of food and pretty quick service.
Food came out pretty quickly and everything was hot when it arrived at our table. We tried a little of everything on the menu and the best thing we had was the catfish. It was crispy on the outside and perfectly soft and flaky on the inside. Also came with 2 heaping plates of fresh mints and veggies for spring rolls. Service was just ok but I think they got busy toward the end and we had to wait awhile for the catfish.
Food is good. But why I asked for a to go box and the waitress only brought a box enough to take 1/4 of my food home? Good service but very poor in reading the table.
I really like the baked, fried cat fish here the best. We just went last night to try it out for the first time. The clams and squid salad (goi muc) was just ok and was really chewy. I think best value for the money is Baked Cat fish overall. Friendly staff and very good service.
Food came out quick was served fresh. The place was kept clean. Service wasn't that great cause they didn't come check on us to see if we need anything else. We ordered a lot of food. We waited for our catfish to come out but never did and when we were done eating, they told us they didn't bring the catfish out cause we had no space on our table but we would have made room for it. They made us buy it and they packed it for us. We wanted to enjoy all the food together cause that's the point of ordering what we wanted to eat or wanted to try.
I've been wanting to come here for a long time because the food pics look so good. Finally made it and the first impressions are that it's a bit more of a dive than I want to see for a seafood spot. We ordered a ton of things to try. It was large portions for a reasonable price. The taste was good but not mind blowing.
The rating is about accurate. The food is good. Crispy fish was a little fishy for me. But their fish sauce was good to go with the fish. Price is reasonable.
I ordered 3 dishes- grill squid was chewy like over cook , big snail was good , Oc len in coconut milk, the milk so thick and salty and the Oc len was difficult to eat , hardly to sucking out .
Extensive menu with a variety of Vietnamese tapas style dishes. >The steam goat meat had a nice aroma (without much of the strong goat odor) n tender. >The grilled frog leg was well seasoned n had a nice bounce to the meat. >The eel dish did not have any distinct directions >The beers rounds out all the dishes

we went early in the day (before noon) so no wait. the fried fish was good and better than fermented fish hot pot (lẩu mắm và rau) which is a little on the salty side - all the seafood are fresh though to their credit. service is great, our waiter are friendly & attentive. atmosphere is ok, typical hot pot place, a little tight when it gets crowded. overall a good meal & good place to spend time with friends + family.
Good variety of Vietnamese seafood. We got the large fried catfish - always a great choice. I would like to have explored the menu more.. I'll be back!

A decent viet restaurant that can get busy during weekend meal times. It's what you'd expect, food was just okay, decorations are kinda awkward, and so were the dozens of high schooler waiters running around. Mango squid salad: Get! This was probably the best thing here! Just a well balanced salad with sweet flavors complimenting each other Thai soup: Get Flavors were punchy and bright. I don't understand why it's in hot pot form though as they bring it to you with everything in it and fully cooked Fish soup: Maybe? I think it could be decent on its own but compared to the above, it was outshined. Fried catfish: Sure lol If you're here with your whole family or friends and wanna do the viet thing, then grab one of these whole fishes and have a good time making spring rolls Overall at 30 bucks for hot pot entree that feeds a few people is a good deal but I'd prefer other hot pot places over this. The table clothes underneath look a little dirty too so that was off putting Food: 6/10 Atmosphere: 5/10 Service: 5/10 Value: 6/10
Book a table/RSVP through Yelp to avoid waiting up to 2 hours. Even though I book through Yelp, but can sometimes wait 10-15 mins when I arrive. Foods plenty of options if you love seafood. However, the quality is dropping compared to a year ago, so hopefully, they can improve it.

Food was decent. Baked fish didn't looked freshly made, it wasn't hot. Shrimp had 3 pieces and we had 4 people; the least they could've told us so we can order more but flavor was good. Razor class were the most flavorful with the right amount of chives. What made our meal worse was the attitude of the servers. Will not go back cause our food was cold.

Tried this seafood restaurant during the weekend, I was very disappointed. We ordered bloody clams, razor clams, fried soft shell craps and deer curry. Even with all the garlic butter green onions plus dipping sauce, I can taste the seafood are very bad quality.. Like they smells like dead for a decade. I could barely eat the razor clams. Which got me really disappointed since this is a seafood restaurant and it costs 70+ plus for lunch. However, service are surprisingly good. They seat you quickly and keep checking on you.
Really confusing menu and not very helpful staff! Seems like they have a ton of selection but super confusing to select anything from their menu. While dining, we noticed most people (if not all) were ordering fried catfish. As much as I love fish, I am not a catfish person. Other than fried catfish, there's really not much offered here: tiny portions, similar sauces, and really unhelpful staff. Restaurant doesn't offer any bit of atmosphere, it's cramped and not very tidy.

Went here a while back and thought it looked good but the food was not it. The noodles were hard to eat and made my throat feel itchy with each bite (I'm not allergic to anything), either too fried or too dry. BUT the oysters put me to death several hours later, pretty sure I got food poisoning. Service was just ok.
Today I went to this restaurant to get lunch. When I went inside, the restaurant did not look bad and service was ok. I ordered the “Vegan Stir Fried Crispy / Soft Thick Rice Noodle” to go. After I went home to eat my lunch, the food I ordered look VERY unappetizing. The vegetables were burnt and got the black burnt stuff on my noodles. I write this review to hope they make better food next time. I will not EVER return again and if I could give them 0 stars, I would.
