Craving ox tail soup? Pho Vie has got your back. The best ox tail pho. Hands down! Served with rice noodles and an extra plate and utensils, because they know exactly what they are doing here. You will need the extra plate for your meat. Brought the cousins visiting from Kansas City, because KC is missing out on cultural foods like this. Very entertaining watching them devour their bowls of pho and go at the fall-off-the-bone pieces of ox tail. Nicely seasoned, rich flavorful broth. Service can be a little tricky if you need a customized dish and you do not speak Vietnamese. Otherwise just let the wait staff know the number of the dish or point at the menu item. Downside: cash only. However, they do provide an ATM inside the restaurant.

The service and atmosphere are secondary to me if the food is good. This place is cash-only with plenty of tables available. The parking outside is convenient, easy to stop by if you are commuting on 405. There are some hard working people who are keeping the food quality consistent and affordable.

Granted, it has been a long time since I had real authentic Vietnamese Pho from Southern California (have been travelling abroad for the last 10 years), but this place blew my mind. They offer other well known Vietnamese dishes but this eatery is famous for its Ox Tail Pho. Try the dish the next time you are in the area and take a lot of pictures to show your friends how good it is. We drove all the way from Whittier just to eat their Pho. On our second visit, we ordered Fish Pho and Beef Vermicelli. Both were good, but the service this time was horrible, Pho served up with an attitude. Dine-in is now available.

Oxtail pho seem to be the popular dish for this place. As you look around that's all you see people eating. The portion are biger compares to other pho restaurants.

Oxtail soup was perfect! Soft and LOTS of meat...even for a small. Definitely coming again!

The food here is average/good. Service was good. I had bbq pork with rice and fried eggs. They served 2 eggs 🥚 instead of one 😋.

Not bad for Pho. One of the only good places open till midnight. Decent helpings but either the coke or lemonade was $2.95 which is kinda expensive for the size but overall place is good, soup was hot 🤤

Broth is very decent, good portion even when we ordered a small size. Also ordered a veggie one for our in-law and he loved that with lots of bean sprouts. Tip: if you order to go, they didn't ask but I would get uncooked noodle, thus they don't stuck together as a blob when ready to eat at home, and just boil some water then cook the noodle yourself, trust me you like it better this way.

I literally grew up in this restaurant (a different location, but I've been going to this one more since it's closer to me) and I'm now 20 years old. This place has been my all time favorite to get pho. My favorites are probably the oxtail, the chicken (dark meat), the beef stew, the BBQ pork vermicelli noodle and the filet mignon. I'd rate the food 5 stars overall, but the place definitely needs to be cleaned a lot more. In regards to the service, it could be a little hard to communicate with the people that are serving you, but please be patient with them. This is not your typical sit in restaurant where excellent customer service is almost always provided. This place is always busy for the food only and it's totally worth it! 😊

The service may not be top notch and they don't accept cards, but the food is genuine and worth any trouble. This is like a large hole-in-the wall place and is not nearly as well known as Brodard in Garden Grove, which means that you don't have to wait very long for good food. Also, prices are great and it's a great value overall.

I'll give this place a 4 start because I been coming here for a couple of years and the food has remained consistent and I call it a diamond in the rough. The service could be a little better or at least more welcoming to those unfamiliar with the concept but it's a trade off with the low prices. CASH ONLY. There is an ATM machine. What I have tried so far. Edit. Please be aware that if they mess up they will also charge you for the messed up food.

Good food cheap price. Place is big so even larger good don't have to way much. Yes the place can be cleaner. The server can be nicer. But those I can live with at that price. Try their ox tail noodle if you want lots of meat. Their rice dish are good also. Just don't order the lemongrass chicken. It have no lemongrass favor and not spicy at all. Other than that enjoy.

Ordered a number 5 and a number 3 both were good. Customer service is decent. However, this restaurant only accepts cash without any signs posted anywhere except for a little sign on the cash register. They have an atm but it doesn't work. We had to go to a nearby gas station to use an atm to get cash to pay for our meal. There shouldn't be such an inconvenience for your customers like this. I'd rate higher if it weren't for this.

The food is excellent But the service is poor. The restrooms need more cleaning floors are greasy. It's cash only$ Because of tax purposes they don't use Debit or Visa credit card. So in other words they're avoiding State tax. Pay

Come here quite often for their Oxtail Pho. Noticed the quality has dropped due to no flavor in the soup. I am not a big fan of their Bún Thit. Shrimp tasted old. The meat and fish sauce had no flavor. Table smelled like it was cleaned by a mildew rag.

Last minute place to find and eat. Been on the road all morning and hadn't had breakfast. We exited wrong place and has to turn back to the freeway and my husband spotted this place at the corner light. We had some rice dishes and I had pho. One thing I have to say is good, they give small broth bowls along with rice plates, like the Cambodian places do!- a plus in my books! Looks like they have regular customers. Parking is convenient. Place may need some updates, but can't blame them with the pandemic and all. Restrooms were occupied for a long while that I couldn't wait so I paid and we left back to our hotel.

So, this was interesting, food was great, but paying is a different story. They are only cash by the way. I have my own financial burden and currently don't carry cash. I did have room on my credit card. They wanted me leave my watch or phone seriously until I came back with $10.00.... seriously. They also didn't like when I pulled out a translation app so both her & I can speak AND read easily. She also spoke English much better when i brought it out. Some guy stepped up and spoke with her & paid my bill. Thank you. Good food, customer service kinda made me wonder. I don't have a frig at home right now so I eat out a lot. I just moved though for cheaper rent and DID have a frig.

I don't know what was wrong with the pho broth that day. It was nothing like I've ever tasted like they put too much MSG in it. Nothing wrong with a little bit but it had a weird flour after taste. Im hoping this was a one off experience. I've been coming here since I was a child.

When you get there they sit you down and get your order but don't tell you, they don't accept Visa or debit card anywhere inside of the restaurant... The lady At the register doesn't speak any English.. When I asked why isn't there a sign that says no credit card or debit the young lady, different from the register lady, lied in my face and told me the signs are over there somewhere.. I guess she didn't expect me go look! Their food aint bad but they're trashy for that...

This place used to serve delicious pho, and I have told many of my friends in the past, but it was terrible today. There were only two employees during the busy time. I was ignored for a long time, and a server gestured he couldn’t talk so I finally walked to the cashier to order my food. Broth tasted so blunt like they put 5x water or something. The prices have increased a lot too. I still said thank you to this bad service, but they did not say thank you at all even in Vietnamese. I will not come back again.

Okay, first off the food was delicious. The prices are good except on their small glasses of soda and for each refill they charge you for another glass. That’s a little ridiculous. Serve a bigger glass and I can see charging a little bit. But the service was horrible. When my friend and I first walked in one of the lady’s pointed at a table for us to sit at. Then when it was time to place our order my friend ordered then the girl says in the middle of me trying to order that she’ll be back. A few minutes later another girl comes to finish taking out order. The food came quickly and as I said it tasted good. No one ever came back to see if we needed anything we had to flag down a waitress to ask for our bill. She says I’ll bring it which she never did so we asked her again and she says pay at the counter. So we paid and left. Just ridiculous.

She sat there giving dirty looks and yelling at us saying it was our fault. One of the cooks was apologizing super nice guy. Both cooks were nice one was just working the one who was being accused by the lady. They need a food inspector to come in there and look at the kitchen. Obviously something needs to be done here. Sad since I have been coming here for years and loved it here. But the service today is enough to never return and seeing how she treated the cook made me mad.I really hope she’s nice to the cook who talked to us and not treat him bad for being nice to us.
