Absolutely loved my experience at Z Prime. Saturday nights they have a live Dj. The service was great. The food takes awhile but that's only because its made to order😍 when the food did arrived… it was well worth the wait. I can't wait to go here again

This place was awesome ! So upscale. Great ambiance and service. I really enjoyed my time here. I got the surf and turf. Great place for a fancy birthday etc or just a nice date or night out. Just an FYI this place is not cheap! Bring out the big bucks and live a little 😁 the man at the door was so nice, loved his hair. Thank you for a great time Z Prime!!

What an AMAZING experience. From the moment you walk through the door it wreaks first class. You truly get what you pay for. From drinks, to appetizers, to the amazing steaks and desserts..this place is a win. The hostess is gorgeous and a direct reflection of what lay beyond. The decor is beautiful and perfectly fitting of a "trendy" modern steakhouse😉. Not your stuffy grandparents steakhouse and this is a wonderful thing. Linen napkin service I promise, but lively, energetic music (nice mix of dance, EDM, afrobeats and R nB. Seating was very comfortable. We had a party of 7 and not smashed together in small seats how some restaurants, particularly in NYC do. Again back on the amazing ambiance when you sit down and the well decorated bar with a great choice of a popular Tequila. Lychee Martini was really good...probably the only complaint if you want to call it that is I wish the bartender could have been a tad more heavy handed. Was goof, but more like a punch so it stopped me from buying another. We had meatball, calamari, thick cut bacon, fried dumplings for the apps. All were really good. The dumplings may have been a tad over done but good none the less. Everyone raved over the thick cut bacon and the meatballs. Entrees were, ribeye, Kansas City, 2 surf and turf and a Cowboy steak. One person had chicken over pasta which he stated was probably the best he ever had in his life. The steaks here....phewww. The Kansas was mine which is a T-bone and is hands down the best steak I have ever had and I am a big restaurant guy. I love trying new places, not just in NY, but Boston, Miami, CT and Atlanta. None can hold a candle to this T-bone that I have come across. Was super tender and cooked to my perfect liking (med well). Considering it was one of the lower priced steaks I can only imagine what the $600 steak taste like..lol. Sorry to state prices but I think that example shows contrast in the quality because the Kansas taste and (melted) like it was at that price point. Everyone at the table raved about and was still talking about the meal today (Tuesday) and we went on a Sunday evening. If but only once this is a must have once in your life. Our server was very friendly, responsive and had a great sense of humor (a big plus for me in any restaurant). We didn't think we wanted to dessert, but he brought out a beautiful display of desserts which everyone (that didn't want dessert, lol) devoured. The presentation was amazing and were perfectly made for sharing. A nice array of flavors for the palate from a cinnamon Gelato, to a chocolate lava cake. Every single piece of the evening for the family was fantastic. This is my second trip and will be back again. Maybe I'll splurge for my birthday on the Japanese ribeye lol. We had 2 teens with us but I wouldn't recommend any younger than 16. My 16 yr old has an expanded palate and appreciates and understands quality food. I think any younger it would be a waste. Overall amazing! Do yourself a favor if you have a special celebration for you or someone really special...take Zprime on🔥🔥

Much better than Benjamin Steakhouse i must say. Steak was juicy and most importantly sizzling HOT. The service was impeccable, drinks and music were on point. We will be back!

What an absolutely amazing experience. It was our first time here and you can guarantee we will be back. The service was spot on with the most friendly and attentive staff and the food was soo delicious. The atmosphere was very welcoming and comfortable with great design and decor. They also play famous Italian music which we found ourselves singing too. An absolute must try!

Stopped by with colleagues after work and had an incredible experience! Our bartender was fantastic, crafting perfect drinks and setting the tone for a great night. When hunger struck, we moved to dinner and were blown away by the top-tier steak - cooked to perfection! Z prime Italian Steak House is a must-visit for after-work gatherings or special occasions. Just what I needed on a Friday night - like old school and new school fine dining and some delicious steak, seafood and service . Krystal behind the bar was exceptional and the owner was setting the vibe -making sure everything was perfect . It was a nice escape from reality at Z prime !!!

From the moment we walked in the Hostess (Nona) made us feel so welcome. Our Bartender ( Mia) was extremely talented and hospitable.the best was the Chef Dukie came out of the kitchen and explained the menu and personally brought them to the bar for us. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Great experience. Service was exceptional, lamb chops came out on a sizzling platter,perfect. Dessert was amazing. Waiter didn’t miss a beat. Manager /Owner was very accommodating. Prices were very reasonable for what we ordered. I highly recommend.

I recently dined at Z Prime Steakhouse, and it absolutely exceeded every expectation. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, upscale, and inviting—perfect for a special night out. The staff was super friendly and made us feel welcome right away. Our server checked on us often and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was amazing—everything was cooked just right and full of flavor. You can tell the chef really knows what he’s doing. I will definitely be coming back again!

It was far, 1 hr away from where we live and was pretty expensive but was a nice vibe & music, great atmosphere, and food was pretty good. Saw a review on Instagram and had to try it at least once. If not for the price, would be 5 star.

Had dinner this past Sunday, vibes was great, food an service was amazing they made sure we were good the entire time , even when we weren’t satisfied with one of our sides they asked “how can we make it better?” Tho I said it was okay since everything else was perfect they gave us complementary wine and a a crème brûlée cheesecake. The crab cake and Ribey steak was 1000/10! A little pricey but would visit again !

The place have a nice atmosphere , the steak and pork tender and juice, the pasta flavorful and cocktails good. The service was great .

The girls and I got together and rode down to White Plains to try this oh so talked about restaurant. When I arrived I was lucky to find parking on the street. The parking is terrible fyi. I walked into a really cute place. I liked the ambiance of the restaurant. Our waiter was Orlando and he was great and so attentive. The menu changed a bit from what they had online so it threw me off because I already knew what I wanted. So I changed up and got the wagu beef meatballs. For drinks I sipped on some Reisling and while I am normally not a white wine person this was pretty good. The prices are pretty steep fyi but the portions are pretty big. The meatballs were pretty tasty and I also tried the Cowboy steak and it cut like butter and was very good. I sampled the spinach also and I wasnt a fan of that too much. While we ate the music was blazing and I loved it. We had a good time at this location as a group. All in all it was a good experience.

The food was amazing! The music was ok, seems to cater only to English speaking patrons; however, we were able to ask the DJ for a couple of Spanish songs and he did obliged. Food wise I would definitely go back. We ordered several different plates and all of them were delicious. The steaks were delightfully delicious! Lobster fried rice was so delicious. There were a couple of things that didn’t let me give this place 5 stars: to start the girl they had at the bar seem to not know how to make or serve drinks; there was no hostess at the door to great us, but they kept coming to ask the name of the reservation many times; towards the end of our meal they seem to be on a rush to get us out; and even though the restaurant was practically empty they sat us in front of a very rowdy and extremely loud group of people. It was annoying to say the least.

Interesting steak house. Upon arrival we where seated quick, I do most of my reservation on OpenTable. When we where seated we where immediately greeted by our waiter. The service was actually fast. I ordered fried calamari for my appetizer which were very good, and for the main meal I went with Kansas City 97 steak and mash potatoes. I can say that this steak was amazing the flavor was on point. For desert I got the Crambrulae and it was delicious. Asides from the food the atmosphere was very up beat and the music was a bit on the loud side when it come to a steak house. This is more of a friends out type of night restaurant. Will definitely be back 😄

The filet mignon was delicious. The service was great. The atmosphere was wonderful 👍 I was there for a baby shower and the drinks were hitting.

First of all, this restaurant is gorgeous! The owner really goes all out for the "experience." There was a woman playing an electric violin walking around tables (loved that) the DJ was great, service they provided is exceptional! The food wasn't worth what we paid for compared to other steakhouse restaurants we've been to, but, overall we had a really nice night. Something that REALLY bothered us... the dress code did not seem to be enforced. When we pay $500 for a meal at a place with "standards" it would be nice to see some class. We felt very overdressed and it was Valentine's Day, so I thought they could've done better with that. We were told 3 times prior to being seated that it was $199 per person. Which I knew when I booked this reservation. Seemed a little odd to be reminded so many times but I guess you can't say you didn't know by the time you got your bill. It was a nice night but definitely a 1 and done for us.

Went here for a birthday celebration, my friend rented out the room & the wait staff was amazing! Nice vibe, music would have been a great addition to the night. I was not impressed with the food at all especially for the price. I had the sea bass which is my go to fish, this sea bass was flavorless.. bland with not even a hint of the buttery taste it should have. Went to the bar ordered 3 drinks & was surprised when the barmaid said $98!!!! She took it upon herself to add a $15 tip to my order... I walked up to the bar and ordered a drink that took 60 seconds to make & you tip yourself $15???? I let it slide but left a bad taste in my mouth & for these reasons I will not return to this establishment.(neither will my 30 friends who were at the party as no one enjoyed their food) we commend the wait staff because they were the best part of the night

I'm giving 3 stars because the overall service was good. Other than that, my expectations were very high for this place and was bummed out by how tasteless and expensive it was. The food was mediocre. We ordered 2 appetizers, the calamari and dumplings, and they were both awful. Dinner, on the other hand, was OK. I had the green fettuccine, and my husband had the surf and turf. What I couldn't get over were the prices of everything!. We have no issues spending the money, but this food was not worth over $400 for 2 people. I've had way better food for less. I guess they are trying to keep the doors open. I will not be visiting again. This is a first and a last for me.

I don’t write this review in malevolence rather my hope is that the subtle changes wil happen to the betterment of the establishment and the diners. A few small ticks went wrong with dinner. I list them here with respect that establishment maybe takes it into consideration and makes a change. 1) With the dinner: wrong order The music is so loud here it. Could have caused the mistake. 2) we didn’t get a dinner plate with the steak 3) we were asked if we wanted everything yo come out together (we said sure yes- but then it didn’t, so we ate plain steak) 4) when asked what I wanted to drink, I told the waitress Diet Coke. She was pushy for me to drink alcohol. I said Diet Coke. She was pushing a drink on me. I told her I don’t drink alcohol and I have to drive, so just the Diet Coke. Then she spoke over me and then brought me an alcoholic drink (which I was charged for and which - I don’t drink alcohol….) no means no. 5) the veggies could have a pinch more salt. Other than these small changes the place is cool o hope everyone can have a positive experience thank you I love the salad.

The best thing about this restaurant was the violinist. My husband and I went here to celebrate our 26 year wedding anniversary/Valentine's Day and this was an absolutely horrible choice. The ambiance and music are in conflict. It looks like a nice restaurant but the music is too loud and inappropriate. We found ourselves yelling all night trying to hear each other over the loud music. Our reservation was at 9:00 p.m. We arrived 15 minutes earlier, and four tables that arrived after were served and finished before our overpriced meal arrived. The waiter took our order and never returned to ask if we needed anything else. It was a little after 11:00 before I overpriced bill was given. The worst $400 we ever spent on a mediocre meal at best. That was our first, last and only time...I would NEVER recommend this restaurant especially if you're celebrating any event. My 26th Anniversary taught me, don't believe the hype...read the review...so if you want loud music, bad service, overpriced steak and an "ok" $400 meal that takes two hours to serve then this is the place...never again.

Save your hard earned cash... NOT WORTH THE HYPE !!! I've been to many steakhouses and while the restaurant is aesthetically pleasing, appears classy...the music is ridiculously loud, obnoxious and a bit inappropriate for a family outing. I will give full credit to the host, wait staff and waitress who were all attentive and amazing. Definitely not a fit for family dinner. Instead it's a Friday night club house that gives me "Side Street" and "Webster Hall" vibes. The food was good but not worth the outrageous prices. Avoid the Zabaglione it's nothing more than fruit and whipped cream not real Zabaglione that I know. Go to Benjamin's or Del Frisco's instead.

Went for Valentine’s Day, my boyfriend made a reservation several days in advance Upon arrival they had 2 men standings outside informing you “in case you guys didn’t know, it’s a prefixed menu and set price of $199 per person” Which was never mentioned on the reservation/social media.. The food was good I will say, and our waiter was very kind. A random guy with a camera was also walking around filming our table after the food arrived without even saying hello or asking if it was okay if he filmed our table momentarily… but after getting our main dish and seeing a cockroach crawling across the table next to us…we knew it was time to go.. For being such a “high quality” establishment- it was definitely a disappointing experience to not be told the actual details of a reservation prior to arriving, leaving people with not many other options but to pay the price because it was valentine’s day and everywhere else would already be booked at 630 pm..

Disappointing Valentine’s Day Experience at Z Prime I was really excited to try this place after seeing so many amazing reviews on TikTok. My wife surprised me with a Valentine’s Day reservation, so we were both looking forward to a special night. When we arrived, we were told the restaurant was offering only a prix-fixe menu at $199 per person — something that was never mentioned when the reservation was made back in January. Since we were already there for the occasion, we decided to continue anyway. Unfortunately, almost everything we actually wanted to order wasn’t on the menu. For $199 (just for me), I ended up with a calamari appetizer, a very underwhelming salad, and a New York strip steak. My wife had a meatball appetizer, the same sad salad, and a New York strip as well. The total bill came to $571 for food we didn’t even want. I’m extremely disappointed. If the options matched the price and expectations, I would have understood — but this felt like maximizing profit with minimal effort. Transparency matters, especially for a special occasion reservation. I won’t be coming back if this is how customers are treated. Z Prime — do better

Came here tonight for the 1st time to celebrate a friend's birthday our reservation was at 8:00 p.m. we were not seated until 9:15 p.m. Once we were seated we had to ask for water and food menus also we were told that they didn't have any bread we were starving of course because we were standing around at the bar waiting for our table for an hour and 15 minutes. I'm not going to go on and on about how disappointed we all were the food was OK , nothing I would ever want again. We were there until midnight which was 5 hours in this place. At least the music was good and the décor was nice more of a hangout spot for drinks. Not to mention the parking sucks. No valet!!!! I will continue to go to Benjamin's, or drive to the city to Mastro's, Del Frisco's or even Ruth's Chris. Anywhere but this understaffed let down!!!

I dined at here tonight with high hopes, but what transpired left me feeling disappointed and frustrated. Upon arrival, we were informed that the restaurant had unexpectedly switched to a prix fixe menu at $200 per person, a change made without any prior notice. This sudden alteration set the tone for a less-than-pleasant evening. The entire experience felt orchestrated to maximize profits at the expense of customer satisfaction. It seemed deliberate to change the menu on a busy night, making it difficult for diners to find alternative dining options on Valentine’s day.

I’m not sure where to begin lol, for the Valentine’s “ pre fix “ menu that wasn’t even mentioned on the website prior to making a reservation.. it was $199 a person which was insane for how horrible the service, food and the blasting music in the restaurant was. Also, for $199 a person you would think dessert would be included on the pre fix menu… no you had to pay extra. Our waiter was from planet mars as well . Hope this helps

The atmosphere was nice, however the service was horrible. My reservation was @8pm and It took 1 hour to be seated at the table and another hour for the food. The food was trash and overpriced. For a party of two the bill was $400. I wouldn’t had mind the price if the food was good. I don’t recommend this restaurant.

To Future Guests of ZPrime, I’m writing this because I wish someone had shared this information with me before I made my reservation. I booked ZPrime for Valentine’s Day because I wanted to treat my wife to a special evening. Like many couples, we were looking forward to a romantic dinner, great food, and a memorable night together. At no point during the reservation process was I told that the restaurant would be offering a mandatory prix fixe menu. When we arrived, instead of being welcomed in for our reservation, we were stopped outside by two security guards who handed us a menu and informed us that due to high volume, the only option available was a prix fixe menu priced at $400 — and that didn’t include drinks or gratuity. Standing there, finding this out on the spot, was both surprising and disappointing. It wasn’t about simply spending money — it was about the lack of transparency. Had we known in advance, we could have made an informed decision and planned accordingly. Valentine’s Day is already an expensive and meaningful occasion, and unexpected costs of that size can put a damper on what’s supposed to be a special night. What hurt most was the feeling of being caught off guard. Clear communication ahead of time would have made all the difference. I’m sharing this so that future guests can ask questions in advance and make sure they understand exactly what to expect before arriving. Special occasions deserve better preparation and honesty

This place is overpriced and the management is terrible. Agreeing with the rest of the people on here. My husband made a reservation early January for Valentine’s Day. He never received any outreach or phone call from the restaurant stating that it was pre-fixe only. We arrived at the restaurant and the hostess tells us that it’s only pre-fixe and was ready to turn us away if we didn’t oblige. Really it’s Valentine’s Day, we’re suppose to wander the streets else where to find a restaurant with availability? What kind of scam is this? If we made a reservation, we’re entitled to it without any minimum spending requirements. We were prepared to spend money on a nice meal with control over the menu and drinks. However, charging us $200 per person for a limited 3-course meal that was worth $130 is RIDICULOUS and no drinks included. The bill came out to almost $600 for the mediocre meal. I don’t know who this places thinks they are but please stop with the entitlement. I want to add, that while we were outside we heard the bouncer stopping everyone at the door stating it was pre-fixe. I mean the whole thing feels slimy and scammy. Yal should be ashamed of yourselves. Please anyone reading this, do yourself a favor and spend money on somewhere else that has better hospitality. Never again going here.

Very disappointed with Zprime. They almost had us lol, almost ruined our Valentine’s Day but me and my partner managed to figure it out. My boyfriend made reservations for the occasion and upon arrival we were told they were offering a pre-fix menu only at $199 per person… upon arrival is the issue, no prior notice. Very inconvenient considering that is an extreme price for a fixed menu where the items presented were things we didn’t even want. A drink was not included in that price, so that was separate. Trying to be optimistic considering we were looking forward to this dinner, it’s Valentine’s Day, we got all dressed up prepared for a romantic dinner, and was immediately disappointed. The ambiance was bland also. No valentines decor, just not the vibes. On top of that the hostess had an attitude when we requested to look at the menu, and once we said no she has an issue. Now let’s be for real you they should have known that was going to happen and be a problem for the reservations they had last night. Other couples were leaving as well. It was a shock, because we have been there before, but we will not be back just because of that experience. To pull that off on Valentine’s Day where people make reservations months in advance, every restaurant is booked by 6pm. We left and had to find last minute plans. We managed by luck and the grace of God to find somewhere to squeeze us in. I say that all to say that is something that we did not want to do, we made a reservation and was not given any information about their pre fix menu. It’s not about money, it’s the principle. And seeing others experiences of the couples that decided to stay, that’s exactly why we don’t stay. It was mediocre and a set up to maximize profits. Shaking my head!

Horrible Valentine’s Day experience. There was a set menu that was not mentioned anywhere when booking reservation. $199 a person and this does not even include any dessert. Inside the restaurant atmosphere was very bad very very loud music blasting through the restaurant, so much we couldn’t talk to each other and starting giving a headache. Waiter was atrocious maybe visited our table 4 times the whole night. Steaks came out completely overcooked and complete fat, couldn’t even cut into the steaks. Nobody came to check up on us at all so there was no chance even to send them back. This place also charged forced 20% gratuity, which would be ok if the service wasn’t awful l. Ended up getting the manager involved who apologized and took the gratuity off the bill for us because the whole night was completely unacceptable. I would not recommend this place to anybody, stay away. Don’t embarrass yourself by taking anybody there on a date either.

I made a reservation for Valentine’s Day. When we got there the seater proceeds to tell us it’s $200 per Person and a pre fixed menu. Which was never mentioned when reservations were made. Fine decided to stay. The pre fixed menu did not have to much at all. In the end we order two appetizer meatballs and calamari. Calamari was not good. Then main menu was chicken parm and Mac and cheese. My wife order salmon and mashed potatoes. Mashed potatoes were cold. We had two drinks. The bill came out to $570.00. In addition for only two people they included gratuity for the waiter at 90.00. Over priced food and not worth going back to.
