Stopped in for the first time in a long while, and it was fantastic! The catfish was fresh and perfectly cooked, the sides were delicious, and the portions were more than generous. The whole place has a friendly, welcoming feel, and you can tell the family puts real care into every detail. Definitely worth the visit—I’ll be back for sure!

Been coming here since I was 9 and now I’m 35! BEST chicken fried steak I’ve ever had in my life and I e literally lived all over the USA and all over the world. Buttermilk pie and peanut butter pecan are my favorites. Staff is so nice always. If you need comfort there is no place better

I loved this restaurant! You walk in and see how clean, and people welcome you with smiles, then the food is so amazing! My friend and I couldn't believe how much we got and the selection of pies we had to choose. I recommend so highly! I just want to add my friend and I only got the kids meals I had already ate my most of my fish before I thought I have to take pics to brag about this restaurant! Can't say enough about Catfish Havèn!

This is a great place to eat. We had been trying to get here for a while and it was well worth the effort. We had catfish and it was awesome. They have many sides to choose from (they had broccoli cheese casserole) and the prices are pretty good. They also carry homemade pies. If you're anywhere near here give it a try.

Wow! This is a great catfish spot. I had the fried catfish lunch. This catfish was delicious. It tasted very fresh and came out within minutes of ordering. Staff was also very friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Had the seafood platter with catfish, shrimp, and clams. Fried corn and coleslaw as side, and Fried Green Tomatoes as an appetizer. Everything was delicious and fresh. The catfish was buttery consistency and cooked perfectly, the clams were soft and not rubbery, even the shrimp was not overdone. The hush puppies were some of the best I've ever had. It can be really hard to get these foods fried so perfectly and it was consistent across both my and my wife's plates, so these people have it down to an art. 5stars.

The Philly cheese stake was not good. The texas toast has to much butter. It's hard to taste everything else when the bitter stands out. The meat was horrible and I couldn't eat it.the meat tasted like old school meat. The wife had catfish and I tried it it was very tasty

The catfish (mine was fried) was undoubtedly the best catfish I've ever had!!! The coleslaw was good, but a tad bit too much vinegar. The green beans were really good. I brought home the chocolate swirl cake. Not a fan. I highly recommend their catfish!!!!

I have eaten at this place since I was a young child. The catfish is awesome! The pies though....they are seriously delicious! There is always an assortment. One of my personal favorites is the pecan cream cheese. On my last visit I tried 2 new pies. One is pineapple coconut and the other Peanut butter chocolate chip pecan 🤯🤯🤯. These 2 hit it out of the park yet again 😋 Definitely worth the drive out there!

It's nothing special but not bad. The chicken spaghetti tasted like a casserole your grandma would make. The chicken fried steak was a little tough. The mashed potatoes and gravy were really good. The apple pie was outstanding. My wife liked the cream cheese and pecan pie.

For a Sunday afternoon, not crowded. We both ordered catfish and shrimp combos. My sides were a garden salad and broccoli cheese casserole. My husbands sides were pinto beans and fries. We ordered a side of hush puppies because the menu did not state they came with the meal and the waitress did not mention it. The salad was not fresh, from a bag with 2 sliced tomatoes and way too many croutons. Salad dressing was not a quality blue cheese.Tasted like wishbone.Lettuce was brown in spots and had a black piece as well. Hush puppies came out burnt and doughy inside. Oil obviously not the right temp.Flavor was strange with chunks of corn and carrot in the dough. No ketchup offered with hushpuppy side either. No seasoning on anything. Fish was not locally sourced, obviously frozen and the shrimp were not fresh either. Fries were cut with skins on and not doubled fried for crispness. Pinto beans from a can. Broccoli casserole had a huge glob of cheese on top and only broccoli in it was a stalk. Basically, everything we ate came from Sam’s Club. I recognize the pre battered frozen shrimp and catfish chunks- not fillets. Husband was not asked if he wanted more tea even once. I can not recommend this restaurant. Beware!! We watched the cook , wearing gloves go from the register to handling food and back again. The lady plating food never wore gloves at all and the cook checked the temp on food in a basket above the grease with his gloved hand. Never saw a thermometer. We have an air bnb going up in Gordonville and was really hoping to recommend a local restaurant. This is not it! The guy megastar casino serves better food.

The only reason I gave one star, was because our waitress was nice. This is the worst catfish place I've ever been to. Food wasn't very hot when it come out. Nothing tasted fresh. I also asked for sides of ranch that came out with the same consistency and smell of mayo. The taste was completely off. Didn't taste like ranch AT ALL. When I asked the waitress if she was sure it was ranch, she said yes and that she got it from the bottom of the barrel and she had a hard time getting it out. How old was it? I continued to see the cooks throw things in the microwave as well. I was hoping for fresh fried seafood. I will not be back.
