Great place to eat breakfast. I love the blueberry pancakes, 2x4 as they call it. The service is always very good. The waiting area was improved as you used to have to write your name on a board. Now they text you. In addition you can pay at the table vs the desk on way out, which also eliminates a bottleneck in that area.
Loved this place. We were visiting from toronto and the food was delicious. At first we got a bad batch of pancakes which had a really bitter after taste and were completely flat! (I encourage management to look into it) However we let our server Lila know and she was very friendly and replaced it for us. We got a new order of fluff and yummy pancakes 🥞 Atmosphere was great. Highly recommend it
We are staying at the Hampton Inn and decided to do ‘breakfast for dinner ‘ and have pancakes. So glad we did! The restaurant was fairly empty on a Wednesday night with a cold snowstorm coming but the atmosphere inside was very warm. My husband ordered their Dutch apple pancake, which was more like a soufflé. It was huge and takes a little time to prepare, but he was so happy. I tried a bite and .. just delicious!! I ordered their gluten friendly pancakes and asked the waitress if I could have bananas and peanut butter chips added to it. She came back and told me she instructed the chef to incorporate bananas into the batter and also add them on top with the peanut butter chips. Not only did I appreciate that they had a gluten, friendly option (I’m not celiac but have an autoimmune disorder and feel better without gluten) but that the waitress & chef made sure they were delicious! She also made a fresh pot of decaf coffee for us and it was so good! She refilled our cups numerous times. The service and kindness made our evening special and we highly recommend this restaurant!
While in town visiting the in laws my wife and I stopped here, twice. I'm very familiar with this restaurant. We initially went in to just have some coffee and a small bite to eat. That turned into a full blown meal of 3 pancakes, 3 crepes, an omelet that could feed 2-3 people, sausage and all the coffee we could drink. First things first, the food was amazing. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere felt like a diner. We were lucky enough (or smart enough) to go during the week. The weekends are very busy, so if you have the choice, go during the week. We had no wait time and the food came out quick, hot and tasting fresh. We returned the very next day for some coffee and crepes. I felt like I blinked and the food was there. Our server was different the second day but just as kind and attentive as the other one was. Overall, I would rate this 10/10. I mean breakfast food is the absolute best food and they have a great selection and more importantly, great quality food. If you're ever in town you should stop in and enjoy some of their amazing crepes with a few cups of great tasting coffee. You won't be disappointed.
The apple fritter pancake was out of this world!! And bring your appetite for the size of the omelet!
Food was delicious. Pigs in the blanket were superb 👌 Pancake flavor is so good and light and fluffy. Bacon was awesome thick and crisp! Waited awhile because there was a big take out order. Was worth the wait! People are very polite. A+
10/10 would absolutely recommend! This was my first time at the Pancake House and WOW. The apple waffle was truly delicious. There was apple in every single bite 🍎🤤. The bacon had the perfect crunch 🥓👌, and the home fries were amazing. Definitely get them extra crispy 🔥🥔. The server was an absolute gem 💎. Such a fantastic first experience. I will definitely be back 😍👏
The food was great. We ordered a omelet with pepper jack cheese, after a bit the manager came to our table and indicated the cook made it with cheddar cheese. We were hungry, so we told to her to just bring it. I am surprised management didnt take the cost of the cheese off, and I think they should have.
A too breakfast place in the area. Hard to get into, as it’s always packed and there are no reservations, but it’s worth the wait. One word: CREPES. They are the best in the business. So, so good…. and cheerful, too. Our family just loves the OPH!
Hands down the best chocolate chip pancakes I have ever had. The wait to be seated was short for a breakfast rush on a Sunday. The food and service were great. Definitely looking to come back again!
Two breakfasts, two drink, two sides for under $60 Extremely generous portion sizes. The western omelette was fluffy great portions inside the omelette did not overdo it and did not under do it that is very hard to do they did it. The almost come with choice that you can get some3 pancakes with it or home fries I do believe that there is another option but I forgot what it was. Bacon 🥓 bacon I thought four strips of bacon for the amount was not going to be worth it but I did it and it was 100% worth it they know how to cook bacon that's for damn sure. Was not shriveled up was not greasy was not overcooked or undercooked it was nice crispy bacon. We got seated in the booth and it very firm you did not stink into it. Table was clean Good lighting to see your food. Service was absolutely amazing. Was totally taken care of.
You absolutely can't go wrong with this place food is always hot and fresh. If you like omelets then you have to try them here delicious isn't enough to describe they are alway cook to perfection. So enjoyable. I have been to two different locations and neither disappoint. If you are in the buffalo area make this one of your stops. Excellent food and service.
Definitely a great breakfast joint to check out if your in the area! The place was buzzing on the Thursday we were there for the Bills vs Dolphins game. Overall the food was great, I especially loved the apple pancake 🌟 Kept me full for almost the whole day haha! My only feedback would be to have more staff, you could feel they were running a bit behind that day.
The food was delicious. I had a half order of the blueberry crepes, and they were so yummy. Two people in my party had omelets. I've never seen omelets so large; they looked like they had at 8 eggs each. I think they could have shared one omelet since they couldn't get half way through. Also one person in our party has a severe food allergy and they were able to perfectly accommodate that with no cross contamination. We were in one of the smaller side rooms so it wasn't too loud. It was a pretty busy Friday around 10am and had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. The bathrooms were clean. The service was friendly and quick.
Love OPH in Williamsville. Raspberry Pancakes my favorite. Throw a sausage link plate on the side and life is grand.
My father took me here when I was 5 (1968-ish). Still a nice place for breakfast when in Williamsville. The place was packed. Breakfast was good. Nice place to sit and chat. Server "Stacey I" is wonderful.
Went here for my partner’s birthday. We got the waffles and sausages. Waffle was soft and tasty. The sausage had a great texture and the eggs complimented the waffles well. I got the rye bread as a side and it was great!
Amazing experience! We came here Sunday morning around 9am. My husband and I were seated within 1 minute. Our waitress, Lila was very attentive and friendly. The staff kept the hot coffee pouring too. I had the blueberry pancakes and eggs, my husband had the strawberry pancakes with eggs and they were both some of the best we have ever had. The fresh squeezed orange juice was cold and refreshing! The atmosphere is open and inviting and bright. We were very pleased with our breakfast here and look forward to coming here when visiting Buffalo again!

My husband and I came here for Valentine's Day around 9am. We got seated immediately. The tables are very tight and close together. Our service was great. The only problem I had was that I am a vegetarian (since 1987) and my crepes were obviously cooked in bacon grease and on the same griddle that bacon is cooked. The bacon taste was overpowering and actually sickening to me. So I did not finish my crepes but took them home so my children could eat them. It was disappointing to say the least. Next time I will get waffles as I don't think they cook bacon on a waffle maker. Also, if you eat Kosher or just avoid bacon in general, I would watch out for griddle cooked foods.
If u r Canadian visiting Buffalo, u should try this place and never regret, amazing delicious plates all with pancakes & waffles, u ll be surprised with the portions of the dishes which is normal in the USA 😊 the opposite in Canada☹️, it's a bit pricey but u could consider it as breakfast & lunch 2 in 1

We have been here many times the only thing that really changes are the prices. They seem to go up quite dramatically. $7.85 for 4 pieces of bacon seems a bit overpriced. I've been here a few times with varying experiences. My first time was great, quick service, my party was sat quickly and food came out great. My most recent experience, I had a party of 5 and was told there would be a wait of about 20 minutes. I then watched 2 parties of 5 come in after me and get sat and served before I was acknowledged again. I ended up walking out after 25 minutes.
Recently ordered takeout and tried their largely talked about Apple Pancake. It was SEVERELY UNDERWHELMING in appearance and half burnt , but somehow still tasted very good. I just can't get past what I ordered and seen others partake in versus what I got. The a la carte eggs and bacon were also very good. Eggs cooked as ordered and bacon was thick sliced and well done NOT burnt. Also ordered Strawberry Pancakes and there were NO Strawberries inside, they were plain and provided a side of strawberries to use as a topping which is not what I ordered. I'd go back but they definitely owe me an Apple Pancake and Strawberry Pancakes done correctly on the house.
