Came with my family for early dinner. Food was delicious and came quickly. Plenty of parking. Very nostalgic.
Fun summer spot with solid kosher BBQ Great place to grab a casual bite in the Catskills! The pastrami eggrolls and wings were amazing, and the ribs were juicy and flavorful. It gets very busy during peak season, so expect a wait—especially if you're ordering takeout. Service was friendly but a little slow. Prices are a bit high for the portion size, but the food hits the spot if you're in the mood for classic Dougie’s flavor. Definitely a summer staple.
Good food The hashgacha on the chicken is KJ and on the meat meal-mart the store is under OU supervision based on my phone call today 8/8/25
Great food, great vibes.Great atmosphere.I got the pastrami sandwich.It came along with the side of french fries, and they also got the super tail chips °was really delicious a1 a1!!
First of all, the food is mostly tasty and delicious, with a wide variety of options, including sushi. The space is clean and welcoming, with casual indoors and outdoors seating that feels comfortable. Staff are attentive and helpful without being overbearing, which makes the visit nice. Prices feel fair for a sit-down meal experience. The location is easy to reach, and there’s a designated parking lot nearby. It’s a fun spot for camp staff to go out, or for kids of all ages. You always meet some interesting people in there.

I visited on a Sunday. I was concerned about visiting in middle of a busy day thinking it would take forever for our food to be ready. But to my surprise the food was ready in a flash! Overall the food was very good. I was a little upset about the lettuce in my salad not being crisp, but I guess that's par for upstate summer. Register personnel were amazing and they got the orders right down to every last detail even though there were 10 of us with several restrictions. Really super impressed. This restaurant is definitely an asset and hope it stays around for a long long time

Hey, I'm going to find this historic restaurant in the New York mountains. I enjoyed the wings and the chili was amazing. Definitely recommend this dishes and it's fun to know that you have glat kosher place in the mountains so you don't need to bring your own food for your vacation. Definitely recommend to anybody. It's also have very good prices, even cheaper than Queens. New York. Enjoy your food
I ordered online and by the time I got there the food was ready. We Sat outside and it was very nice. Food brought me back to my childhood the poppers were awesome
Visited this kosher meat restaurant and was blown away! The flavors were rich, and everything was cooked to perfection. The service was friendly too. Highly recommend for anyone craving quality kosher dishes. Five stars! Get the grilled chicken with fried onions!
Very small and squishy terrible customer service food is gross i highly recomend going some place else
OK, we came at peak hours, we had to push thru the crowds , plus it was a bit awkward to walk on the street publicly carrying out our food. Otherwise, food was pretty tasty , the music was wayyy too loud, however.
Once a summer u have to get the junior combo after that you can’t! Anyone who said it’s impossible for one person to finish the whole thing your wrong!
Dougie's is awesome you just have to keep in mind what it is. It's a grill place, that uses it's deep fryer more than it's grill. That being said, the food is delicious. The staff is awesome, the other customers generally suck (but that's woodbourne). It's a little bit expensive, and a lot a bit fattening, but solid place.
Ive tried a bunch of different items here. If you like fried food you’ll like this place. Poppers and their blooming onion are great. Everything else is not that good. Wait time in store is long , ordering before hand and taking to go is quick. Also, prices are over the top
As the store usually is claim to fame for their food, this year, menu seems to have changed a bit and they started giving Chinese style nuggets... Furthermore, they barely cared about the service they were providing and didn't listen to instructions twice when I ordered and had to re order.. I'm not gonna say the part I'm leaving out :(
Didn’t have in my life so bad messy fries it was more tomatoes than pulled beef its was disgusting on a next level
