Was Kunden über Tender Greens sagen
Tender Greens in Woodland Hills is highly praised for its fresh, healthy options and friendly staff, especially manager Christopher Salazar. The tuna Niçoise salad, fried chicken plate with mashed potatoes, and salmon dishes are customer favorites. Some report issues with undercooked chicken or produce.

Tip: The fried chicken plate and mashed potatoes are highly recommended, especially for first-timers. Salmon is a safer bet than steak.

The first thing you’ll notice when you get in is the friendliest staff on the planet. Ordering was quick and all my questions were answered. Food was out in about 7 minutes, within the range of expectation. The pesto sandwich was DELICIOUS! Hard to believe that something this tasty can be good for me! :) The mint lemonade was good, not too sweet. It cost $17 with tax for both, which is about expected and much cheaper than some places in this mall. The atmosphere is well decorated but can be a bit noisy during busy times. It’s kid friendly, with high chairs available and accessibility is excellent. I’ll be coming back again, and you should try it out if you’re looking for a good, wholesome meal with local ingredients.
There are FAR more expensive choices in the area with food that doesn't come close. The Tender Greens portions are balanced, the vegetables are fresh, and the flavors POP. Staff is friendly, atmosphere is clean and calm. I've eaten here several times already, and plan on eating here every day I'm in the area.
Tucked beside the constant hum of Costco traffic lies a surprising culinary refuge; calm, clean, and delightfully composed. From the moment you walk in, you're met with an exceptionally friendly staff who strike the perfect balance between attentiveness and ease. Despite its location, the interior maintains a tranquil atmosphere; an unexpected and welcome contrast to the chaos outside. Seating was abundant even during a typically busy 1 p.m. Sunday lunch hour; adding to the relaxed charm. The menu leans toward the health-conscious without sacrificing flavor. A refreshing array of homemade drinks bursts with bold, natural flavors; each sip crafted with care and layered complexity. The food itself offers a unique take on health-forward cooking; unfamiliar at first glance, yet deeply satisfying and inventive in its execution. This is a place equally suited for a laid back afternoon with friends or an intimate meal with a partner who appreciates clean, flavorful eating. A standout destination for those who believe that healthy cuisine should still be an experience worth savoring.
The food is delicious and the atmosphere is nice, usually the staff’s friendly and helpful.
While traveling it’s important to me to have food where restaurants are completely transparent. Here they use local ingredients, share nutritional information and have realistic health standard portion sizes. The food is delicious but you can tell it’s a healthier fare. Priced accordingly I’d say! Greatly decorated atmosphere. I enjoyed it and would return.
I highly suggest dining here. Everything is so tasty, especially their mashed potatoes and the new sea bass dish. Their little cakes are also tasty. The star of the show is the manager here, Christopher Salazar. He is such a nice person and has made our day with his accomodations. I just love coming here. Great food, great people and good vibes. Thanks to Chris I will continue coming to the this location!!
This is my first time coming here. I had California with grilled salmon with roasted butternut squash salsa and cilantro brown rice, cabbage slaw, queso fresco and pepitas. It was absolutely excellent and the Ambiance in the restaurant was great and it was very clean
It’s hard not to love tender greens. It’s got healthy options, amazing chicken, steak and fish options with plates, sandwiches and more. The fried chicken plate is a must especially if you are a first timer. Make sure to get mashed potatoes(probably some of the best you will ever have). All the salad options are actually delicious and fresh. Everything about this place is truly worth the try and don’t forget to add a mint lemonade.. so refreshing.
The dish that I had was great (BBQ Chipotle chicken with kale and sprouted rice) I ask the chef if the sauce had high fructose corn syrup and she replied no. They made it with brown sugar. 😉 The atmosphere was pleasant as well. I with highly recommend this establishment for truly being a healthy alternative.
Love the food! Tried the tuna Niçoise salad with fresh roasted ahi tuna which was delicious with capers, tomatoes, olives, and beans. Also tried the California roll with salmon and the tuna plate with mashed potatoes and greens. They have delicious iced teas and I also had the Aqua Fresca with watermelon. Nice outdoor seating with umbrellas and enough shade.
Pleasant customer service they took the time to put together my order very flexible choices of protein veggies and fresh greens. The seating indoor and outdoors pleasant I like this location is it's next to the water fountain in the pond so you could hear the water while you're enjoying the food

Amazing as well as delicious food (recommended for lunch, dinner, desert), broad diverse amount of options whether healthy/dietary/kid friendly this restaurant never fails to impress. Shoutout to the dedicated staff that work/support this amazing community as a part of the San Fernando Valley/entirety of Southern California. & I sincerely appreciate Cassidy, Jayden, Claire, Angie, Pedro, George, & more with the wholesomeness, hospitality & beneficial connection they are a part of when visiting this wonderful restaurant. Keep up the excellent service, & always looking forward to more memorable dine-in/take-out visits.
My husband and I have dined everywhere in the area and honestly haven’t been satisfied… until now. Tender Greens at the Topanga Village in Woodland Hills truly raised the bar. The steak didn’t need butter, sauce, or anything extra—everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The fresh vegetables were just as good, and the prices make it an easy choice over the big chain steakhouses. A big thank you to Chris, the manager, and his entire team. Chris went above and beyond to make our visit amazing, even though it was a take out order. Because of him, we’ll definitely be back. And can we talk about the lemonade? It was so fresh and delicious, I’m convinced there’s a lemon tree out back. 🍋 I wish I could give them a 10—Tender Greens has become our new go-to spot.
My bf and I went to tender greens to have a lighter meal because we ate a little late this evening. We’re from Iowa so we found this place and saw that it had great reviews. We both had salmon but I had the pacific bowl and he had the California bowl. I can say I would eat this over and over and over again. It was so good!! We also had the watermelon agua Fresca and it was so fresh. I even forgot to take pictures of my food because of how good it was! 10/10 no changes needed to be made. The only “downside” was we ordered our food ahead of time and it wasn’t ready when we got there but it was definitely worth the wait!!
Excellent tuna noocioise salad great in-house made juices an excellent service. How old are they 32 and three my sister got a three and a four year-old so I know what they’re like they’re enjoying it

Tender Greens is a fast-casual restaurant located at the Topanga Social. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. I came with a friend, and we ate on the patio right by their small water feature, which made for a beautiful view. The menu has a lot to offer, including various bowls, plates, salads, and more. I chose the build-your-own steak plate, which comes with two sides. I went with the roasted potatoes and a Caesar salad. The total came out to about $19, which I felt was a bit pricey for what you get compared to other places in the area—but you can tell the food is really fresh. I can’t say much about the service since you order at the counter and they bring the food to your table, but our food did come out fairly quickly during the busy lunch rush, which was a nice plus.
First time visiting and I really enjoyed my salmon. My husbands steak was just ok, the salmon was way better. The bread was a little chewy and the tomato soup was great but tasted like marinara and not soup. You’ll be very happy with the salmon. Next time I’m trying the Penang.
My first time here and I ordered the Katsu Chicken. The plate looks good! But I’d give this place 3-1/2 to 4 stars. For me, paying almost $17 bucks a plate (including taxes) for lunch, I hope to be saying, “Wow, this is pretty dang good!” But I didn’t. It was okay…just okay. Nothing spectacular. Chicken seemed to be a little overcooked in some areas. So I had a hard time cutting some of it with a knife. The flavors were okay but just nothing to justify over $16 worth.
I had the Harvest Salad and substituted the chicken for the steak. Textures and taste were really good. I gave it 4 stars because the peaches and blackberries weren’t that sweet. Would have been 5 stars if the peaches and blackberries were sweet, ripe and juicy.

I’m seriously disappointed with Tender Greens. I’ve now received raw chicken in my meal twice, and that’s a serious health risk — not just a minor inconvenience. The photo attached speaks for itself: pink, undercooked, and completely unsafe to eat. The first time I let it slide, thinking it was a one-off mistake. But having it happen again shows a complete lack of attention to food safety and quality control. At this point, I’ve lost all trust in this location’s kitchen practices.
Disgusting lil Beatles in my chicken salad. I ordered from Uber app and it took them 45 minutes after being transferred 5 times to get my refund. And just to get partial part of my money and not full refund. I’m so grossed out now that I realize Tender greens does not wash their produce and don’t check quality before preparing anything. Just saw your previous reviews and just wow. Omg same issue but ten times the size. I didn’t even eat my tomato soup. Trashed it
